Staying here worked out great due to the location. Near a shopping center, grocery store, and downtown. Debbie had been very helpful for us. Very friendly staff altogether and the room was cleaner than some motels I have stayed at. In my traveling experiences, this motel room was more expensive than other motels that had the same quality.

When you pay for a room you expect clean towels without blood stains, a smoking room for smoking inside not outside the front of your door and a ice machine that doesn't require payment.

I ask my wife she had a good time I'm sure.

The Staffing owners are a very nice couple and if you have animals they welcome them with open arms and me and my wife and son check in here and we love it one of the best places in Riverside thank you Budget Inn Riverside, a very pleasant and relaxing stay thank you once again.

The staff was very nice. One of the only places in town that would let me and my husband bring our dog with us. Lots of channels on the tv, big beds, clean rooms and walkimg distance from food and grocery stores. I would stay here again.

I checked in to the budget inn motel with a bit of hesitation after reading the reviews from past guest. What should have been a few nights turned into a month. I witnessed how overwhelming running a hotel can be. For the most part all the staff was attentive and if something needed attention Debbie at the front desk and Daniel the owner take the opportunity to fix things seriously. Thankyou for the hospitality. Room 109.

My little santuary. When I need get away and refocus this my little piece of heaven. Always a rewarding experience.

I don't know how the other rooms are but this one was a disaster. Our first thought was check it for bed bugs. We didn't find any but I still wasn't sure. Large gap under front door, we just put a towel there to keep out the 36 degrees. No latch on bathroom door to keep the door closed, we just blocked it with a towel. Shower was hot. Just grimey and scumy. Window blind missing, we just put up a towel. Refrigerator was frosted over. Place had nice granite countertops and recessed lighting. Only $95/day. Be sure to take lots of towels.

The staff are really friendly, willing to help with your needs, close to shopping, fastfood, rooms are very clean, and great T. V cable, close to all major freeways a great place, stay while in riverside.

Stayed there cuz my water was off at my house for two days and I was better off just toughing it out… the place was shot out to the fulllest. The people in charged treated me like something so bad I cant even think of the word. The maintenance guy was the best thing there more helpful than anything.

Im going to revise my review of this motel due to a misunderstanding. When I first talk to the manager I assured him we would not be a problem im disabled and my husband to be who is legally blind were living up by Jackson St and VanBuren im from Orange county and I have no idea where we are here on University ave I did not give the motel itself a bad rating I mentioned it has a kitchen clean floors and good size bed and I assured him we would be no trouble and we are not. I have to go to Kiaser Permanente on magnolia ave id like to find a dollar tree nearby I joined my boyfriend here a few days ago we have been quiet and the staff has been nice, but ive only been here a few days so I am sorry if management misunderstood me. Thank you Karina for getting us a place to stay.

This is below budget a drug hang out. The rooms are filthy, the bed is a pull out from the wall I think but there is a kitchen and full sized fridge table and chairs I wouldn't recommend it for weary travelers its not comfortable bad part of and the rates are way to high for this place.

I absolutely loved my weekly stay at the Budget! Danny and his associated were so. Kind and helpful. My room was clean and cool A/C felt so refreshing. Thanks again Danny. Best regards, C. Cates.

My family actually enjoyed ourselves here. Very relaxing and quite. Had no issues at all. Management was very nice and professional. I do recommend.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think there is some confusion when it comes to the hotel/motel star review system on Google. Normally, hotel star ratings are used to classify a hotel according to their quality/cost. For example, a 5 star hotel should be expensive and you should expect the best service/quality/experience etc. At a 2 star hotel, one should expect a lower price with lower quality amenities, etc. But how should a 5 star review system be handled when you are intentionally looking for a low priced hotel and accordingly expect lower overall quality to begin with? The Budget Inn of Riverside, I'm giving a 5 star rating, not because it is a 5 star hotel or because it is the nicest place, because it's not. It's an older building with family member type staff. However, I give it a 5 star rating, because I got exactly what I expected. You get what you pay for and my priority was cost, nothing more. If this review system was specific to hotels in the same price range, then my review might be different. In short, my 5 star review is not representative of the quality or price range of the Budget Inn. My rating represents how well my expectations were met. I was looking for the cheapest place and that's exactly what I got so I'm happy. The staff was friendly and the owner has been running this place for over 20 years so he knows how to run the business properly and is a fair and reasonable person while also maintaining strict rules because he has to.

Don't ever … Ever stay here! Unfortunately, most affordable room in the area were booked the weekend I needed to stay in Riverside, so despite bad reviews, I gave this place a try. I got a 2 double bed for my husband & 2 kids. As soon as we pulled up we saw a hooker out front but proceeded. I went to pay the guy took me to the room and gave me a quick glance. It was so uncomfortably muggy and dirty compared to placed I had stayed before but I had no choice but to take it. All surrounding placed were charing $130+ a night. This place charged $90. As soon we we get settled in the room we began to see roaches! And I don't mean baby ones! We were not gonna stay in a room like this, especially with 2 kids! My husband talked to the manager and he said no refunds. My husband told him if he didn't get our money back he would call health and sanitation. So, he gave us our money back. As soon as we left we all began itching very bad! Bites all over! Yes… Bed bugs! We left and paid to stay at the Comfort Inn right around the corner & I'll tell you… Paying more was so worth it! Don't penny pitch because you will be disappointed. As soon as we saw the comfort in we all were relieved! It was like pulling up to DisneyLand compared to that disgusting dump! Worst experience ever with a hotel!

Roaches and bed bugs. Manager enters room when your not there not to clean to go threw things. Maids don't clean. I have never seen such a thing. There is a much better motel up the street called Skylark Motel much better and cheaper rates. Save yourself from a unpleasant visit here.

The rooms are ok, not the cleanest hotel I've been to. Bed spread / comforters smell like cigarettes which leads me to believe they are not washed very often. Needs major upgrade. Remodeling would be good for the place, especially on the interior.

If I could rate negative stars I would. My wife and I recently stayed here where the manager KNOWINGLY gave us a room that had bed bugs and then when cinfronted about thr situation didnt want to change our room or refund our money just gave sime pathetic excuses about running a motel being hard. Never again.

Very nice helpful staff the manager is very good about keeping guest safe and happy. They work with you if you need a little help when you're low on funds. I would stay here way before motel 6 down the street they're jerks there!

The rooms arent clean and irs nasty thats why I gave it 1 star but consider ing my situation I give it 5 stars cuz my family and I are homeless.

Disgusting. Horrible managements and terrible staff who clearly, don't know how to speak to people in the right kind of 'professional' Manner.

Roach infested. Very expensive. The room smell very but I mean very nasty. And the clean towels are not clean. Sheets are stain. Do Don't come here. U will regret it. We are literally sleeping standing. And there is no refund. This room deserves a zero star 6-14-15.

I really hated this place. I would not recommend to anyone few days ago there people downstairs being loud! Police came and sort it out! I see same people next day, I am surprise owner did not kick those people out for being loud. Also, I went to front desk while night and I need to let them know that icebox steal my quarter and this lady who work front desk say shoot away to me while I asked her to give me paper and pen. (I am deaf). Also, there is insects in this room and it look old and I am surprised there is no strobe fire alarm since in this room that made me nervous everyday because I am staying in smoking room, I could have died in fire and I found lady hair in my sheet on first night! Plus there is a broken outlet plug next to bed. Also, I happen has guest come in for a just visit not a sleepover and he keeping yelling at me about it all he yelling like a puppet that what I see. I told him write a paper he keeping told me no visitor he already say that million times. I feel like I am being treat like dumb person! I DON'T RECOMMEND anyone stay at this hotel it very horrible! I can't wait get out of here and never look back.

Filthy motel. Extremely rude, uncaring, : unprofessional and discriminating staff. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

The room bed was full of bed bugs and the only thing they wanted to do was place us into another room after we showed them the problem these are the pictures that I have posted.

I have been there for almost seven days last may and enjoyed, because I was there only for sleep at night. The staff is professional. The only thing I can complain is about people next door, who make noise a lot, with sex and discussions. But I think this is not a hotel fault. Maybe them can invest in noise prevention, or educating their customers, but this will be impossible.

I had a friend come to America, from Canada, for a visit. I would not suggest this place to anyone. Why? Let me explain the multiple situations that happened while she stayed there. 1 — They disconnected her phone while she was staying there, for no reason. 2 — Her child was injured back home and medical staff and family were trying to contact her during this time. The staff that answered kept telling the callers she wasn't in her room, when she actually was. The staff didn't even bother to check. Extremely bad considering this involved a child. Would you want to know when someone you loved was injured and then be sluffed off by staff who didn't care to even attempt to see if you're in your room? 3 — When she found out her phone was off, she went downstairs to the lady and the person there was to busy talking on their cell phone and kept waving at my friend in a 'shoo, go away' manner like she was an annoyance. How would a typical parent take such behavior? 4 — The staff's communication ability is super poor as one person told her she could stay an hour or two past her check out period. However this ended up not happening. Instead she had an old person knocking on her door and screaming, yes screaming, at her to get out. In Spanish. Apparently the hotel staff doesn't have many English speaking people there. 5 — They made her sit outside, in the sun, for several hours in 93+ degree weather. With all her luggage.

I recently stayed in Riverside for two nights — — one night was at the Budget Inn. The first night I was in Riverside I attempted to get a room by walking in the office around 9pm. I wrung the bell about 3 times. Waited 10 minutes. And called the hotel to no avail. It wasn't until I started my car when someone came out and finally asked if I needed a room! I found a room somewhere else that night. Which turned out to be OK but the guy working there (seemed to be the owner) was rather apathetic. So I decided to try the Budget Inn again. I came earlier this time and actually got a room. The room wasn't bad (ethernet cable with fast internet) except for one thing. The A/C wasn't working. I made the mistake of not telling them right away and a couple hours into it I asked for a new room since the AC was broke. Denied. The girl working was being totally rude about it too.
