This is my 6th stay (probably total of 20 days) over past (5) years. For a full service Marriott beds and bedding more like Fairfield. Beds old and NG.
EVEN understanding COVID almost zero amenities. No Bar, very limited, mediocre restaurant — no services at all.
But mostly — I’m yet to have a positive, friendly reaction, answered phone from front desk. When you come in at night — they won’t even say ‘good night’ or ‘welcome back’ or even smile acknowledgement.
The guy who checked me in wanted to argue about my length of stay) even though I snap shot it) (because not first time that’s happened here) — then he said ‘ok, I took care of it’. I said — NO, that’s my original booking. I took care of it. No customer service, no smile, no understanding that I can stay anywhere — and now I’ll bite the bullet and stay at a Marriott property like the Citizen Hotel downtown and drive the extra 20 minutes.

Clean, mattress and pillows were nice. Beautiful decor. Staff was nice and professional.

A nice place to stay. Clean and have a big room. It has a Starbucks inside for a good coffee but it is only open from 7AM TO 10AM. There is a restaurant that I guess serves breakfast. There’s a half a mile restaurant if you want to eat outside.

Ariana and Lilly were amazing! Very friendly and accommodating! Hospitality at its finest!

While somewhat dated, this has been the most spacious of our Marriott stays thus far in this trip. Comfortable beds, quality linens, helpful staff, our family of 4 didn’t feel crowded by one another. The safety protocols here are top notch. The elevator access made us feel exceptionally safe and all the CoVid safety was much appreciated. Water pressure in the shower was phenomenal. The pool areas and patios felt inviting. Was able to walk and enjoy Starbucks coffee with birds singing and pleasant atmosphere around.

BED BUGS, just drove home instead of staying here. And even though I showed them pics and did not stay, she couldn't guarantee me a refund. In fact there wasn't a soul on site until Monday that's allowed to approve refunds. Disappointing, they didn't even care like they knew they had this infestation & still booked people.

Skip the pasta with marinara sauce at the restaurant. Icky.

Good care well located and close to where I needed to move and return without problems.

Sitting in room 614, the room is dirty for how expensive it was, they are so worried about wearing masks and hound you about them, but can’t clean a room.
All the extras are closed like the restaurant and gym, but THANK GOD they left the pool open because that was why we chose this one and not the other one we stay at.
Also, no fitted sheets, a ring about the tub, water marks on the spout, shower head, and handle, dust on the hair dryer, and lastly the mirrors are filthy, and the hallways are extremely dirty. The coffee lids are two small for the cups. The walls are super thin and heard others have sex. Other than that it’s ok.

Very old and outdated spa doesn't work everything runned down and old. Looks on the outsider nothing like the inside. But they do except prepaid cards for deposit.

Condescending disrespectful staff talk down to me, beds are old and lumpy worn out need new beds, broken shower, bugs in the room, homeless camp area.

I loved the outdoor pool and spa didn’t really traffic noice put loved having the spa to myself.

Ordered room service on Christmas Eve to be delivered at 9:45 am Christmas morning. For over $19, we got a coffee, unheated scone and unheated chocolate croissant. When delivered to our door, the lady said that, unfortunately, they could not heat them. When we called downstairs to say they were not heated, they said we could come down and heat them at the front desk. Are you kidding me? The croissant tasted like a sandwich of white bread and a small hard chocolate bar. Unbelievable!

Friendly check-in but didn’t know there’s a no TV and talking at normal volumes at 10PM rule! They told us there was a noise complaint and scared my young daughter and me knocking on our door at this hour and told us to keep our voices down when there’s a couple now arguing loudly in the hallway and the central heating system is rather loud — the irony! In all my hotel stays, business and pleasure, this has never happened. I’m going back to the Kimpton Sawyer, Residence Inn or Hyatt Place when visiting this area — much better service, more modern accommodations and amenities too.

The places is real nice got a room late last night when to sleep to wake up to cocaine residue on my shirt and on a small table they have which is crazy when downstairs to tell them and show them the pictures, but manager acted like he didn't care which makes me wonder if they weren't able to clean up a table obviously dirty, I wonder how they even clean the beds.

I stay in Marriotts about 100+ nights a year so I have a good base to compare against. The restaurant is a disaster. If you are carb loading for a marathon this is the place to be! If you are trying to dine healthy they refer you to the In-our down the street. There are no places to eat nearby. After finding out that they didn’t have a NY strip, I opted for the shrimp angel hair pasta. You certainly couldn’t say that it tasted bad because quite honestly it had no taste. It wa…s however overloaded with oil. The room I am in is old and badly outdated. A far cry from the new Residence Inn that I stayed out last week which was properly geared to business travelers First and last time here by this experienced business traveler.

Check in was easy using the Marriott app. I found the hotel very noisy. The walls are thin and I could hear the people in the adjacent rooms, including crying babies. A simple Continental breakfast would have been nice, but that's not offered. The nearby Courtyard by Marriott is much better.

Very nice hotel. On premise restaurant is very good. Nice having a full blown Starbucks as well. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable. Everything you come to expect from a Marriott.

I stayed in a suite here that was absolutely beautiful. The amenities were very refreshing and the pool outside is amazing. I would have given 5 stars but the wait for the bell hop service was ridiculous. I was with a party of 4 and it took over 20 minutes to get assistance getting our bags to our room. Also the shower curtain in the suite was too short and made for a very uncomfortable shower.

Disappointed Marriott Member. The only good is the location. The room is outdated. Bed, pillows and sheets are old. Very loud — can hear everything … wall are super thin or have no insulation. Called front desk to report people next to me and nothing was done. It was 430 am and I can still hear them.

Hotel is right off the freeway. Area looks a little funny — nothing around really so you wonder who stays here. Hotel smells really good as soon as the lobby doors open. Front desk staff were friendly. Rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Lots of different toiletries. The restaurant is yummy and our server, Jordon, was on point. One of the best waiters I have have had! Starbucks on property was super convenient for morning coffee. Parking us plentiful. Pool is clean. Ants in the pool bathroom but it is summer so it's understandable. Would definitely stay here again.

I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. I was sadly disappointed. The food was very expensive, and the service took a very long time. We waited at least 10 to 15 minutes at the table before our server even came to us, and it took another 10 minutes or so to get our order after we gave our drink order. The food again as expensive as it was, did not come in very large portions. It was also very under seasoned and I needed to ask for extra accompaniments to be added to make my meal palatable. I would likely not come back to this restaurant. In addition their local beer list was on the board next to the bar, but they were out of most of the items on that list. Seeing it was in chalk, they should have erased what was not available.

After two years of being a Platinum with Marriott hotels, I finally found a hotel that offered me an upgraded room without me having to ask for it! That may seem like an insignificant gesture, but as a supposed stated benefit, it was extremely refreshing to have my dedication to their brand appreciated! My corner suite was gigantic and very, very nice. The room was perfectly clean and I even had chocolate mints on my bed waiting for me. All three people at the front desk were extremely nice to me as well. The concierge lounge was quiet, comfy, and well-stocked with snacks. The fitness center is great here as well. Only great things to say about the Rancho Cordova Marriott, and I will certainly be staying here again!

I was here to take my notary exam. It was easy to find parking. The signs inside the lobby area and along the meeting rooms made it easy for me to find where I was going since it was my first time inside this hotel. It was clean, the staff were friendly, and the bathrooms were well kept.

I attended a seminar in one of the conference rooms at this location. Beautiful, professional, clean and great food too! It's also convenient to have a Starbucks inside the hotel!

I don't see how this hotel is considered 4 stars. The downstairs lobby is beautiful but the rooms are sooo outdated for the prices they charge. All they had left were concierge rooms and although I didn't want the breakfast in the morning they wouldn't discount the price and I had to pay an extra $30. They claim it isn't a continental breakfast but that's exactly what it is. It was horrible and I can't believe they feel comfortable even offering it to their guests. The employees were nice and that's the only reason for my 3 stars.

Fantastic service, Great employees. A few Hotel employees were ahead of me in line, and they let me through. It's good to see I am appreciated. They know the value of a happy customer. I will be back for more.

I know I know 4 stars, what's my reasoning? The hotel is clean, nice and the staff is wonderful. The lack of 5 stars is due to the out of date chair in the room. I hated that thing! I couldn't get any work done in my hotel room. It squeaked like crazy and the desk was impossible. Back to the courtyard Marriott for me!

I always stay here when in Sacramento. The Framagio restaurant is excellent and the wait staff is terrific. Very convenient on/off the highway. Nice refreshments in concierge lounge. Tasty Starbucks coffee shop in the lobby. Great for business travelers.

Excellent Hotel and beautifully laid-out the pool and jacuzzi and Garden area are very nice also the restaurant is quite tasty with a variety of foods. There's Sunday morning breakfast is also very good and there muffins that are made there on the spot are the best I have ever tasted. When you bite into one of their blueberry muffins or raspberry muffins pops with Juicy pleasures and squirts in your mouth. Very good very moist and very fresh daily.

This is a large hotel that mainly serves the Sacramento area. It was a good stay. The hotel was fancy. There was only one drawback. The rooms were outdated. They were like from the late 1990's. The bathrooms were fine. Overall a very good hotel, with a nice pool, but outdated.

First and foremost I want to thank all the stuff Not only was our room very clean and equipped with everything that we needed for our Daycation. I would like specially like the thank the front desk young lady Not only was she very clean and professional looking. She was very sweet it was late in the evening as I once again messed up my keys. She replaced them without hesitation I would recommend this Sacramento Marriott Rancho Cordova 2 anyone. Thank you so much I will be returning… soon I hope sincerely Ms. Couch.

My company always meets here for seasonal training and it's always a treat to me! They always provide fresh, STRONG coffee in the conference room, as well as iced water, hot water and a selection of tea bags. Lunch is always a 5 star experience and staff is warm and welcoming. Can't wait to go back.

We decided to go to dinner for Valentine's day at the restaurant inside the Marriott. We were very happy with the service and food. With it being Valentine's it wasn't very busy so we were able to have a nice conversation. Our food was brought out promptly and was delicious. We were checked in by a few different of the wait staff. Plus we got a complimentary glass of champagne to go with our desert. Highly recommend.

During my visit, I was impressed with the courtesy of the staff. At check in, I remarked that I had noticed several young people in the parking lot. I am not anti-kids, I just wanted a good nights rest. The staff member made a point of moving me to a quieter floor. The room was very nice, with a seating area, large desk, refrigerator, and even a teapot for those of us who don't like coffee! Plenty of room to move around. The bed was nice, linens were comfy. All in, I enjoyed my stay.

A Glitch – or Bait and Switch?
The view from the top floor. I stayed at the Marriott Rancho Cordova for the ragtime festival Nov. 18-20. I had booked at the festival rate on June 29. When I arrived this past Friday they couldn’t find me in their system and charged me the full rate for the two nights – about an extra $150 over what I’d expected. They said my confirmation number was a cancellation number – so it’s my fault they sent me the wrong number?
Marriott cash flow – profits – for the year ending in September were $1.9 billion.

For the price it was not really good. All night it was noisy, as if a heater was on, which it definitely wasn't. And there was no breakfast, except as room service, which was also very expensive. Wi-Fi was quite ok.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff that checked me in were polite and efficient. That is all the good I can say about my one night stay at Marriott Rancho Cordova. Saturday night my girlfriend and I attempted to relax at the bar with a few drinks. We were completely ignored by the bartender. Not even an offer to get us a menu or an acknowledgement that we were even there. After 15 minutes, we got up from the bar and advised the hostess of the problem. We went back to our room. Over an hour later, management called to apologize. The next morning, my keycard was no longer able to access the concierge suite for the included breakfast that I had purchased. We simply left after that, it was no longer worth my time to complain to the management.

This belt stay here, cost-effective super high, Hard day, a good rest is really very important!

I was there for a conference. The facility was nice, but the parking was terrible. We couldn't find a parking space and had to park across the street. After the meeting, there was a traffic jam to get out. It was chaotic.

The place is very clean Conference Center is very cozy and the food is delicious.

When booking the Marriott Rancho Cordova, we were expecting a business-like atmosphere and found that we were surprised by how the hotel creates a resort type of feel. The hotel is located close to the exit off the US-50 E freeway. It is about a 35-minute drive from Sacramento International Airport. It is about a 30-minute drive to the Capitol in Sacramento. Note: plan for extra time during rush hours as the traffic can be quite a problem getting into and from downtown Sacramento. The hotel offers oversized rooms, great water pressure in the shower, pleasant common areas, restaurant, pool, small gym, and a concierge lounge. This hotel is a great alternative to having to be in the crowded downtown Sacramento. The hotel was very nice and the staff was pleasant and attentive. I would recommend Marriott Rancho Cordova for reasonable prices, a little peace and quiet, and an overall very pleasant hotel stay.

Rooms and beds are comfortable and well kept. Coffee in the restaurant on a Sunday was awful. The rest of the food was decent. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I would stay here again. Very comfortable rooms and excellent staff who really value your business. Easy to find and close to a major highway. There is a Starbucks inside. Plenty of parking.

I was attending a lecture with meal at this facility. The food (steak) was ok but cold by the time I received it. Everything else was ok for my brief visit there.

Just a short drive from the freeway. Slightly tucked in off of Folsom. There's a Starbucks downstairs inside the hotel. Front desk staff is efficient and nice. The room itself was pretty standard. Large TV with plenty of channels. We had an in room coffee/hot water maker which was nice. We also had a mini fridge. The pool/hot tub looks amazing, but I didn't get to use it. Overall, my experience was great. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone that needed a hotel in the area.

I stayed at this property from December 29 through January 4th, 2016. My car was broken into and another car in the parking lot was broken into the night before. A week prior to this, 6 cars were broken into. I complained to the management of the hotel and they did not seem to care. Since there is a high frequency of break-ins this hotel needs to provide security for the parking lot. Just a sign is not satisfactory. I will not recommend anybody staying at this location because it is unsafe.

Company had our annual staff retreat at the Marriott. What a great venue! They catered breakfast and lunch which were very tasty. My only complaint is that there were two or three exits in the parking lot that were chained off. It made exiting a little bit more of hassle than it had to be.

Good location, beautiful hotel with a nice staff and great amenities. Very close to the freeway and good foofor and attractions. I would highly recommend it.

I am a contractor and am not usually able to stay at higher priced hotels. I was able to stay here for 3 nights at only $100.00 a night. Wow was I impressed. I was treated like a King, a valued guest. Not only was everything very nice but the staff were absolutely great. I will definitely go out of my way, and stay here again. Unfortunately for us blue collar workers looking for a hotel to spend the night and take a shower, the normal, average price of $150.00 is a bit high. I do realize that we are not the clientele that they cater to, that is what Motel 6 is for. But I really enjoyed my stay. It was nice to experience how the upper class are treated. I did read some of the negative comments here and am extremely surprised. I would swear that they must have stayed at a different hotel.

We stay here for 4 days. My parents are seniors, dad a vet, we had a death in the family, I am also disabled, there was no discount, and the room wasn't accessible, which they have received at other hotels and the first one we stay at had no elevators (I use a cane, I fell down the stairs and sprain my ankle) so we moved to here. Where I fell a second time in the hallway. Would not suggest staying here if using crutches. The rooms seem to be clean but the hair dryer did not work and the toilet when flushed backed up to the rim and didn't flush everything. Dad ended up buying a wheelchair. Last night of staying here the busman help push me to our room. Which I was really greatful, wish the others would offered (was worried about my dad pushing me). My parents who regularly visit Sacramento will never stay here again.

Got a good deal for a room. 49 bucks a night. Services are good. Rooms a re fairly clean. There was some dirt in bathroom which is common in most hotels. Restaurant closed at 9 pm which is crazy and there was no food around town in Christmas night.

We needed a ride to the airport after finishing biz exhibition the hotel call cab for us, the driver was swinging left and right on the highway! don't ever ask the hotel for a cab service! in our next visit we will do our homework and just Google a cab service.

Hard to believe they claim this as a 4-diamond experience. Aside from some marble veneers, the service and quality was really lacking compared to other hotels of a lower ranking. I have stayed at some great and bad places and was, frankly, disappointed. For instance, the hotel umbrellas were taped onto their frames with packing tape on the underside, one even had char marks from a fire. The rooms had 20-year old tech, meaning no USB plugins and a remote that only worked if you found exactly the right spot and clicked it 3 or 4 times. We also asked for an accessible room for a family member with special needs. It was not honored or acknowledged! They also try to nickle and dime for every little thing even though many other places offer the sames items complimentary. I could go on, but needless to say, this place is not consistent with brand or ranking and I would recommend staying elsewhere if you can't get a rock-bottom deal. I come to this area about once a year and will do my best do avoid this place in the future.

Best place to stay in sacramento.

My wife and I had a get away last weekend and it was great. Customer service and bellman were excellent. Food and bar very good. Patio dining awesome! Nice little pool area. Oh ya, and the price was only $6 more than the Courtyard down the street. Incredible value! To me a no-brainer. We would definitely stay here again! Plus, with the new children's museum opening down the street I think this would be a natural place for families to stay while enjoying the museum.
