We had all we needed. Nice. N. Quiet.

Good value and location, good service and clean.

The hotel was clean, bed was comfortable and there was plenty of parking space (need a permit for parking). If you walk to Santa Monica pier it will take you about an hour. My recommendation would be to take the Big Blue Bus, there are stops all along Pico blvd. The fare is only $1.50 to get to the pier, definitely worth it.

I was extremely disappointed when I arrived to the location. And looks like an old motel that was painted over. The air conditioner didn't work over night, the TV wouldn't turn on, and the sink leaked in the bathroom all over the counter. It was like they took an old motel painted it and changed out the linen and the bathroom amenities. I could not believe how disappointed I was in this location and the price was outrageous for what we were in period.

Very hospitable, helpful and kind. Took very good care of us. Polite, helpful and great room. Intend to stay there whenever my son needs to visit his doctor at UCLA.

I loved my stay at this hotel. It was very pleasant and quiet. The room was nice and had a beautiful seating area. The grills were so handy specially with Trader Joe's next to the hotel. It took only 20 minutes to get to the beach and there was even a bus that goes to the pier. We had a great stay.

I had a great stay at this hotel. Prices were affordable considering the area. Front desk staff was very friendly. The location was perfect for all the main places we needed to visit. We will come back again next year. Highly recommended.

Loved my stay here. They only have valet parking, but it's so convenient and all the staff gave stellar service. Room was very nice, quiet, comfortable.

Stayed at this place twice for 5 days. If you are a light sleeper and they assign you a room on the 1st floor of the 3rd or 4rd building, you should ask them to assign a room on the 2nd floor of the first building facing the parking lot. Conveniently located. Nice staff and ok breakfast. Not bad for the price I paid.

This hotel is in a very good area, partly residential and commercial. Trader Joes is just 500ft away which is very convenient if you stay for a few days and don't want to eat outside all the time. The room has a kitchenette and pet friendly. Parking is for free.

Great location right on Pico Ave. Take the local bus to the beach or 3rd Street Promenade. Clean room, great breakfast!

Nothing special. For 10 Euros one is via Uber in Santa Monica on the pier and in the shopping street where it is really nice. Was 2 nights there, OK. Breakfast is so-so, but I have never seen a pancake machine before. One push of a button and the pancake is there…

Nice apartment type hotel room. Jacuzzi. Friendly staff. Trader Joe’s close by and the usual fast food joints. Quick bus ride to downtown Santa Monica.

Stayed here a while ago and could not have been happier. Very close to the pier for an extremely affordable rate. We stayed at 4-5 different hotels during our vacation and this was by far my favorite. Next time I visit this part of California I will be staying here.

Nice room with a fairly well equipped kitchen and a full bathroom. The comforter is not as nice as I think. The extra blanket is stinky. But they were nice enough to send another one. The humidity is high at the first floor. It's tricky to guess when the housekeeping staffs come if you plan to leave in the middle of the day and still want you room to be cleaned.

Good value for the buck! It includes parking and breakfast. It is close enough to the beach (like a 10 minutes drive) and far enough to be away from the rush. So you can have a good night sleep. It also feels very safe and the neighborhood around it too. The room was clean and all in working order. No issues getting in or out of the hotel.

Very good place, attention, a little poor breakfast. The garage area is limited, when it is full, you have to go to a supermarket 2 blocks to leave the car, notice at the desk.

Location is good. Check-in service is easy. Rather old looking inside but clean. Wi-Fi not always working. Downfall for me is that walls are paper thin and could hear steps from above floors loudly — on the verve of being unbearable. For the price compared to other availability it's a good place.

We were very well catered for by their staff, comfortable to get to any place, all very clean and comfortable.

I was on a budget and I booked this reservation online for 2 nights. I was very happy with my room with a small kitchenette — — it had plates, cups, and silverware. The overall room was clean and the service was very good. Everyone at the front desk were accommodating and friendly.

Super friendly staff. Moderately priced and the rooms were pleasant. Great location for my needs. Not the Ritz, but if you've got a budget it was very nice.

My wife and I got a "king bed with jacuzzi" room in mid-September to spend a week in Santa Monica. The front desk and cleaning staff were friendly and did a great job. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C worked fine. Couldn't hear any noise outside or above us. The room was nearly spotless. Only complaint is that we couldn't access the Wifi from our room for the first couple days, then it worked fine (maybe an extender was down? ) Bus stop (take bus 7 to the beach in minutes! ), Trader Joe's and a 99 cent store are located close by. We'd recommend this place to others!

Wide and well-resolved rooms. Style a bit outdated, but well to spend a couple of nights in Los Angeles. Finding a hotel with parking at cost 0 is complicated, and along with this, and the location is very good choice. Not llegueís very late with the car, because at least I got the feeling that there are more guests than parking spaces has the hotel. Breakfast is the same style as West Coast motels. Long coffees, toast, bagels, cereals and little else.

Not good value for money. The bed was shaky, the air conditioning almost fell off the wall and has smelled musty. The light on the ceiling was Broken. The continental breakfast, however, was Ok. The location is about 5 km from the Santa Monica Pier. Here you can easily use for 1, 25 dollars the bus… who likes to meet there sometimes on crazy Residents. ;-)

Good clean motel with good breakfast.

Excellent value for money We were in this hotel in the summer of 2015. The other hotels in Santa Monica were very expensive and this hotel is a great alternative. I did not expect great luxuries, but it is a right hotel, very clean, with a very attentive and helpful staff. They have parking included in the price (indispensable if you move by car by the), and is 10 minutes from the beach. If you do not want to take the car and pay parking on the beach of Santa Monica, there are buses that take you and stop in front of the hotel.
Breakfast is not a pass, but it has everything: bagels, croissants, toasts, pancakes, etc.

We were 3 days in L. A. So the hotel was Perfect. The rooms are a bit small but in a city trip this is in my opinion a minor matter;-)
By bus (stop 1 min. — cost point per trip: 1. $25) You can reach the sea and Santa Monica beach comfortably in about 15min.
The staff is very helpful and friendly, Wi-fi available, as well as free parking.

Very friendly staff at reception desk, a huge difference compared to the hotel I was at in San Francisco. Room was very big and although a little old, was clean. The air con was slightly on the noisy side by wasn't too bad. Plenty of space to park snd about ten minute a bus ride to downtown.

What a nice and clean hotel with free Wi-Fi! Friendly and helpful staff! Our room had a kitchenette, which was great. At the courtyard, there are laundry facilities and barbeque grills for the convenience of the guests. The hotel also has three parking lots between the hotel buildings.

Not much to say. Decent place to sleep, and free breakfast. Can't complain.

Easy to find and good location with nearby restaurants and shops. Like the room, I have no complain for the rates. Modest breakfast, its fine for me. Staffs are friendly.

The 1st time was best place I stayed in… but after two days when I left … I been charged again!. Thats not fair.! I checked with the hotel and it was as an authorisation cause I have debit card. Mony was refunded back 2 weeks after. 2nd visit was a nightmare suite with queen size bed. … too tiny. Very good location very good place but payment process and queen size bed is not enough for two persons.

Travelodge is simple yet comfortable place to stay at. The only cons would be that the walls are too thin.

Me and honey went for a one year anniversary and we got a regular room. I forgot what happened but the manager ended calling us that they were going to be moving us to one of their suites for the same price! That alone was awesome and our stay was fantastic! The room had its separate little living room, it was small but super cute. We really didn't want to leave the room to go out because it was just so comfortable and relaxing. We had a very good time staying there for the three nights we stayed. Also the beach is pretty close by and thier are many restaurants near by. I would definitely go back again and I forgot the staff was pretty friendly and gave us a list of places to go and to call in for food services.

I loved the king suite with jacuzzi it was amazing. The only thing I hated was the breakfast. Was terrible.

Obviously, this is by no means a luxury resort, but Travelodge Santa Monica has reasonable rates, clean rooms, great staff, and some other perks that make this hotel a worthy crash pad. Upon checking in, the friendly receptionist was quick to show us a map of the premises — three separate buildings with small (free for guests) parking lots in between. Our room was clean, and the premises are kept safe, using RF ID cards to enter your room and the locked hotel lobby after hours. They're just two miles or a $1 bus ride to the Santa Monica Pier, with a bus stop right across the street from the hotel. Even if you have a car, it makes sense to use the free hotel parking and pay for the bus, as it'll cost you $10-$15 to park on/near the pier. They serve free continental breakfast from 7-10, and keep Fig Newtons, coffee and tea out all day. The continental breakfast included bagels, bread (with toasters available), fruit, cereal, hard boiled eggs, and juices. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, but I had a faster connection on my laptop by using my iPhone's personal hotspot feature … All in all, a good value, especially if you have a jam-packed itinerary (like we did) and don't plan on spending too much time at the hotel.

We stayed one night at the Travelodge on Pico Boulevard on our way from San Diego to San Francisco. And we were satisfied with all (! ) OK. Ranging from parking, nice received one of the employees said even German (this is very rare and is therefore all the more pleased), clean, large rooms with microwave, coffee maker and safe to the breakfast. We have stayed in the third House. This can be achieved only through a security gate. We found it particularly pleasant because it felt really safe throughout the facility.
Conclusion: The Travelodge on Pico Boulevard is fully recommend. Should we ever again be in Santa Monica, we will stay here again with security.
