Rude customer service from Frank, security will chase you for stating you don’t like condition of a room but let a group go party go up with no issues please don’t say at this hotel.

Great for people with big families.

Easy check-in. And every room is spacious.

Pool and jacuzzi, full kitchen, TV's DO NOT have Netflix but other then that the rooms a huge!

We only stayed the 1 night, but found staff very helpful and friendly. Clean and tidy. We Recommend you stay at the Marriot, LA, Redondo Beach.

Although the immediately surrounding area is not the best or prettiest, the hotel is central to a lot to do and see in Redondo. Staff is always friendly and professional and moved me out of a room to another within 10 minutes of my complaint. The rooms are clean and well kept if not a little dated.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, spacious rooms. Happy hour provided free drinks, breakfast was fresh and had lots of choices also included. I like this place and will stay there longer next time. It was close to the airport AND comfortable!

We booked studio room for 3 days for 2 adult, the ambience was good and staff are so welcoming. Break fast is added by default, apart from it they have complementary evening snack section where they basically serve barbecue with wine near swimming pool. Overall its a good stay with good food.

We stayed recently for a couple of weeks — just back. Lovely hotel, great rooms, staff are helpful and friendly and overall a great place to stay. Very close to the lively and beautiful Manhattan Beach, Metro close by lots of places to eat nearby. The mixers on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays is brilliant. Staff are attentive and chatty making sure you are getting all you need. Really impressed and recommend to all. There were 6 of us in the room and hey we expected it to be cramped but it was ok. 4 adults and 2 kids.

Nice, clean rooms. GOOD breakfast. Nice pool and outdoor seating area with a fire pit and a grill. Also they do mixer events Monday-Wednesday with free snacks and drinks (beer, wine, water, and soda). Very cool!

Just a quick overnight stop while waiting for an airplane. Great nights rest, responsive staff, good breakfast. All just a few miles from the airport. The only complaint was that the sofa pull out for a 5th person did not have enough space to fully pull out due to the placement of the TV cabinet. This was easily fixed by moving the cabinet. I let the staff know and hopefully it is something that they will try to fix for the next guests.

Rooms, breakfast, and service were good. Room cleanliness was not what I had come to expect from the Residence but they did make it right. Our only other complaint was that a large group had a birthday party in the common area, which made getting to the pool virtually impossible. Other than that, it's easy to find and centrally located.

I highly recommend staying here if you are in the Redondo Beach area. Great ambience and friendly staff. Close to the beach, freeways and LAX. I certainly look forward to staying there again when I visit Los Angeles again.

I love this hotel. Luna at the front desk is amazing and she is so caring. She assisted in calming the baby while we had breakfast. The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. It was a bit crowded this weekend but they never made you feel anything less than important.

Fire pit produces fumes, likely because residents are throwing all sorts into the pit. Whatever has happened, the entire building fills with fumes that trigger asthma attacks. Repeated requests for something to be done met with resistance because the fire pit is an attraction for residents. Checked out, but had to return and when I did I found the place in a state of transformation with cleaning solvents. Such an air of freshness, just too late. I will never stay at Marriott again.

It Is A very lovely place to share with family and Friends.

The location is quite reasonable to get to from the airport. Was a bit sceptical b/c its literally right off the freeway, but you definitely don't hear it once in the room. The front reception was very friendly and helpful. The check in process was really smooth. They gave us a parking pass to park in the parking lots surrounding the building. The Room itself was nice… Nothing to really complain about. The free morning breakfasts are great too!

I am a fan of the Marriott's and this one did not disappoint. We had a very clean suite with fridge, microwave, stove, and a full kitchen. Our room was perfectly laid out, great art on the walls and 2 TV's. The couch was really beautiful and there were 2 tables. Lighting was just perfect. Marriott made us feel like we were at home.

New and Modern hotel with good amenities albiet, no restaurant. I liked the sport court. Rooms/suite clean, modern and comfortable. Great for business travel. Though in Redondo Beach, the location was odd and inconvenient, hence a one star deduction.

Nice, newer hotel only 3 years old. Everything runs as it should here. The only annoying part is if you extend your stay or ask for a late checkout at 2pm, they don't forward that information to housekeeping and you get woken up in the morning anyway. So good luck trying to sleep in, also housekeeping doesn't understand or speak English so it's hard to communicate with them. Or even let them know you extended your stay or got a late check out. It's been happening all week here and it's very frustrating. Great location, close to things but with the lack of communication here from the front desk to housekeeping I wouldn't want to stay here again!

The residence inn is my favorite location when visiting space park. The rooms are large enough that they do start to feel like home after a couple of days. The staff are always pleasant. Monday Tuesday and Wednesday they have socializers where they make food and drinks for free. That's always been a good time.

This is a very nice hotel for the money. Our room was a studio suite complete with a King bed, and full size kitchen fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, silverware, cups and even had dish soap and towels to dry them with. I would recommend this to the traveler who might have a cooler of food in the trunk or to anyone who likes having the comforts of home in their hotel.

A lovely hotel in Redondo Beach, CA. Great guest service, great morning breakfast, and around-the-clock help and maintenance when you need it. I will only dock a star as they didn't tell us that they have a $30 credit charge for each day you stay there, until you check out. It does get put back into your account, but that would have been nice to know when the hotel was first booked.

I had the best experience at this hotel. The rep (Tall lady… looks like she is her late 40s) is awesome. It was my birthday and she actually sent me a birthday gift on behalf of Residence inn. I got a 5 star treatment at this hotel… I will visit again.

We had a surprisingly nice stay. The rooms were beautiful, and comfortable. For the first time in a long time we stayed longer in our room, simply because it was relaxing.

The initial room we were offered had a very strong bad smell. The room was for disabled, meaning there was not a clear shower space, there was just a small curtain, not enough to keep the water from going in the whole bathroom. The staff were very helpful and changed our room to an one bedroom suite, which was very clean, spacious, well partitioned and smelled fresh. The fully equipped kitchen makes it a perfect place for a longer stay. We could find parking at any hour, parking costs 12$ per day.

Large room, comfortable space, updated decor, friendly front desk service. Checked in and manager told us there was a $12 per night parking fee. I said that I wasn't aware and that it did not make me happy at the moment (jokingly) and he said "no problem, I got you covered" and didn't charge us! Good value for the price. Easy access to beach communities.

We stayed in the king suite and it was great. Felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. There was a full kitchen with a toaster, stove, full size fridge and dishwasher. Very large bathroom with lighted mirror. The ceiling is probably 12 feet high making the room feel even bigger. We only stayed one night but decided that we would definitely stay again for a longer trip next time.

Amazing place to stay. Everyone was so kind, pleasant and helpful. We were here due to our house being Termite Tented and they were so accommodating with us & our 2 cats. Had to extend a day and have a late check out. Such great customer service. Everyone we came in contact with was always smiling & greeted us.

Room was nice. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was basic scrambled eggs and sausage links or waffles, very little selection of other items. Counter guy wasn't very pleasant, but overall a nice stay.

We had an amazing experience staying here. Staff is very helpful and friendly. They had an ice cream social the evening we stayed and complimentary wine and beer. Free breakfast was filled with many options for everyone. Pool and hot tub area was clean and stocked with towels. They have a huge grill for guests to use. Also, have a nice basketball court and workout room. Our room was great and very clean. Highly recommend anyone to stay here. They do charge an overnight $12 parking fee.

Great Hotel but this time I was given a room that was recently chemically deep cleaned and they checked me in to that room which smelled like bleach. Then when I asked to be moved they said they were out of rooms. Then said they can. Move me to another hotel. Finally I decided to sleep and suck it up. They comped the room for one night but frankly for what I had to endure it was not enough. I will sleep tonight and then decide if I am going to use this hotel again. It is shame since I liked the hotel prior to this experience.

By far one of the best experiences I've had in a hotel. Oscar in the front desk was courteous and very professional throughout our stay and Maria went out of her way to warm up some items for me and other guests during the breakfast rush. Customer service is a top priority and they hit it out of the ball park. Kudos to them and the staff. Hotel is meticulously clean and amenities were amazing. Will definitely be returning and recommending.

Aside from the 'all out bad review war' from a group of people who should be talking to corporate and not on social media; let it be known that we had a great stay.
From check-in, housekeeping, and various staff, we had a wonderful stay. The room was spacious/clean and we had the 2 bedroom suite on the ground level. Perfect little kitchenette with a dishwasher. The building has multiple stairways around the building and lots of green grass for the four legged kids.
The location is roughly 10 minutes from the pier and beach. Also there's a wonderful backway to get to Costco's gas station which also happens to be near the Starbucks on Iris. We will be back.

My daughter plays travel ball. We r scheduled 12 tournaments upcoming season, Marriott is usually our go to hotel chain, however the way they are treating Waylon and his family is absolutely ridiculous, I will not book with Marriott, and I will do everything in my power for everyone to know, 12 tournaments at 2-3 nights at least each tournament, x10 families just from our team alone is a lot of money. You won't find better people than Waylon's family. So sad this happened to them.

I am very upset at the way the Marriott is handling a employ theft. The staff does not care that a house keeper stole a wallet from a room. When she stole the wallet she did not only steal the money of the owner but the money that everyone had raised to send that family there for their special needs son to have special therapy. Marriott you need to handle this correctly something needs to be done.

Please help this Chaffin family who has their special needs son there for therapy! The family was in their room while one of your staff also was in room. That person stole the father's wallet and ID's and all the money that they had! Please someone needs to make this right!

Good for a business trip. Location close to my meetings. Not too close to the airport. Staff is consistently pleasant. Facilities are fairly new. Comfortable bed. Obviously the non freeway side is quieter. Has all the usual Residence inn amenities. Definitely need a car, limited dining choices within walking distance.

Nice and clean Hotel. We stayed here for 14 days and the thing we've noticed is the breakfast selections offered are not much and almost always the same everyday. Unlike the one in Anaheim, the selections are so great… lot of varieties. We hope they will consider to add more breakfast varieties. Also, please consider to place a safety box deposit in the room as this is very important. Thank you.

It had very welcoming enviornment. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Room service providers were fast and efficient. I would recommed this place to everyone.

Lobby was clean and up to date, we receive red excellent customer service at check in. The room we stayed in was clean and inviting. The pool was heated and the jacuzzie felt amazing! Overall very happy with my stay and do plan on coming back for another stay!

The hotel is fine. Good location. The breakfast is very average. Reason for 2 stars is that the sofa bed in the room smells really bad (body odor). This is an extended stay hotel so perhaps that's the reason.

Newer facility, clean lobby and rooms. Typical Residence Inn type roons. Location is close to freeway and about 10 min from beach. Didn't realize they charge $10 per day for parking. Area surrounding the hotel is not the greatest.

Nice clean hotel. Floors are a bit loud and people walking above could be heard quite easily. Room was clean and kitchenette very usable.

I stay here just about every time I'm in this area. I love this hotel. Its modern, upbeat, well kept and has some of the most attentive staff I've ever come across. Monday through Wednesday they have a sort of social gathering of those staying in the area, and provide dinner and drinks. Its pretty great.

I've stayed many nights at this location, probably approaching 250 nights so far with many more to come. I simply can't say enough good things about the Marine Ave location. Staff — They are all amazing. I typically find one or two nice people in a hotel I stay at but every single one has been awesome here. They are always happy to do anything they can to help or improve my stay. I'm always a little saddened when I come back and find out one of the employees are no longer there and have gone back to school or other reason. Location The location is originally why I started staying here. It's just off the 405 which is convenient. There have been reviews complaining about the noise, but I've never noticed it. I am not a dead silence sleeper, I'm a TV on or music playing sleeper, so that's probably why. But even in dead silence I've never noticed any noise. The location is also close enough for me to walk many places. The Metro is right across the street too for trips to the natural history museum or other places in LA. It is a short walk to a pet supplies store (pet co I think), Vons (a Safeway store), Al Noor which is the best Indian/Pak restaurant I've ever visited, and several other places. If you enjoy walking as I do and don't balk at 1-2 miles, then you'll find you won't need a car too much. It's also a pretty short ride from the airport (tip: take courtesy shuttle to avis then have uber pick you up).

This hotel was really nice. We stayed for about 6 nights for spring break. The rooms were nice and spacious and the breakfast was pretty good. The Wi-Fi and TV would sometimes cut out but when you have so many people staying there it's understandable. There's a full size fridge which is nice, and they will go grocery shopping for you if you fill out a little paper and take it to the front desk. Overall the stay was great.

Super clean and big rooms with cable TV and amazing bath room. Everyone was friendly and there is also a pool. Highly recommended!

Great location, beautiful decor, close to Tesla charger, great breakfast. Rooms were comfy and had all items we needed. Staff was nice and accommodating.

Hotel was fine. Directions are Google maps from LAX direction brought me to a car dealership, so watch that carefully. I did nothing but sleep here. Parking was a bit limited.

I was not impressed with this hotel. It is right next to the freeway and is VERY noisy. We had to look at a homeless family with a tent right outside our window which was sad. The hotel is new and nice, but it is just a bad location. They also let pet stay here (which we did not know when we booked it). We love animals, but I don't like hearing them bark in the middle of the night when I'm on vacation trying to sleep! We asked for a wake up call and never got it.

Stayed here for 5 days and we are over the moon we picked here. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the breakfast is fantastic, the rooms are massive and perfect, the Free mon tues wed beers. Pizza. Bbq nights are very special and an added bonus as I dont know any hotels to supply there guests with food and alcohol for 3 nights outside in the firepit area is superb (ive stayed in 4 hotels on LA this is the best … thankyou residence. Best place in LA!

False fire alarm went off at 11:15 PM, called front desk to find out why, took them a long time to answer, if it was real no one would have survived… Flushed toilet at 1:00 AM, no water, water turned off in hotel… Was guaranteed by front desk that there would be hot water by 5:00 AM, at 5:30 AM there was only cold water, couldn't shower… Hotel is adjacent to the 405 freeway, traffic noise all night… Not a pleasant experience…

Excellent stay. I was there for a week for a business trip and the staff was amazing. The food, service, cleanliness and management was above and beyond and went out of there way to ensure a good stay.

Awesome Place, came from Days Inn in Santa Monica, and it was so worth the extra 10 miles! Spacious rooms, perfect clean beds! Came to Santa Monica with some friends, and left the Days Inn because it was so bad. Got to the Marriott and let the clerk know we had a reservation. She said normally there is a policy that we have to be 21 to stay there because there was a bar. But she said very quickly she would just make a note we weren't allowed at the bar. Got to our room and it was great. Heaven compared to Santa Monica, and wayyy cheaper. Don't ever stay in any motel over $100 when you got this place to stay at for $120! Thanks.

Decent building but loud doors and loud freeway noise, just so close to the freeway. No where to walk to but the ghetto. Head west for way better locations and similar price or better.
