Great location and comfortable hotel.

Great hotel good amenities 4 the disabled but a tiny little elevator.

Air conditioning not working, no big deal it was cold anyway, but there was noise early in the morning about 7 am, when I went to complain at the front desk the guy got upset at me an started screaming at me and told me that if I didn't like it to leave his hotel, all I I wanted is for them to know maybe they had some workers working on the second floor. I felt very uncomfortable after that incident, he even told me that he was going to call the police, I told him to go ahead, he got very mad when I told him he was disrespectful and rude to me and never would stay in this hotel again.

Very nice view, spacious room, very nice area on the seafront with some nice restaurants very close.

Great location next to sea shore, but not ocean front. Very comfortable, quiet in night, larger space for a room. Some may want to bring personal amenities of your own, especially for those who only prefer liquid body soap. Some may feel annoyed from noise from the upper floor by their stepping around. Nice front staffs. Generally speaking, for me the stay values much more than paid. Enjoy your stay with your family, vacation and sweetheart.

Perfect location, great parking and super clean rooms! The beach is 30 second walk from the hotel. The owners/staff were simply fantastic.

Beautiful beach just steps away. Great restaurants closeby. Try to get a room with an oceanview balcony.

Location is top notch. Bars and restaurants all around, great unobstructed beach view. Room is slightly spartan, no dressers, but clean and modern with a hanger area and iron/board and shelves. Empty fridge without minibar nonsense, perfect for groceries. Go for a balcony room! No out of room amenities like a gym or pool bit that was fine for us. In room safe. Comfy memory foam bed and modern ac/heat unit.

Perfect location with it's own garage, where you can park your car for free, that's very handy. The bed was very comfortable, but we had some weird stains in the bathroom, but that's the only bad thing I can say about this hotel.

Outstanding Hotel! Extended our stay and the showers are outstanding.

Let me first state that I absolutely hate this hotel. I was awaken at 3:30 in the morning by management and the police stating that they had smelled smoke from the room. Their accusations were completely false we had done nothing of the sort. We were then herded out of the room at 1:30 in the Morning. Dumbfounded we were scattered on the street 100% serious. We then at 2:30 in the morning wondered the street to Denny's. Completely removed from the property with are cars still in the hotel parking lot. We had ran out of all options and spent the night on. The street literally the dirty disgusting street.

Quite possibly the best hotel service I've experienced. Ran by an Indian family, they're very accommodating to your needs that makes you feel like a guest in their abode. Beautiful and new interiors, awesome Bravia TV with Direct TV (and netflix), microwave and a good size mini fridge, and best of all — memory foam mattress.

We've stayed here several times over the years simply for the value and location. Boy were we pleasantly surprised by the recent complete renovation of the property! We loved it when it was a funky little beach inn where nothing matched. Now the rooms are completely renovated with lovely finishes and a sleek contemporary feel. New beds were as comfortable as could be! Family owned and very friendly. Still a good value and if you know the beach area you know dedicated parking at no additional charge is the icing on the cake! Location can't be beat.

Just wanted to write a nice review about Grandview Inn to offset the customers who did not enjoy their stay at this beach hotel. My family of four stayed in a large room with a kitchen to save on eating out. Plenty of room, nice appliances, pots, pans, etc. The staff was courteous and efficient. Loved the location and surrounding eateries and rental shops. Very grateful for the free parking as well. Granted, this is not a high end hotel, but doesn't need to be in Hermosa Beach. We truly had a wonderfully relaxing visit and we will return to Grandview Inn for our next trip to Hermosa.

We stayed for a few days in March 2010. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't too great (we hit an unusual period of high winds and occasional rain). But, this place was pleasant, the location was great, we had plenty of room, everything was attractive, clean and worked, and the service was helpful. Don't expect great luxury, but do expect a comfortable place to stay, with management who want to please. You may have to make a bit of extra effort at communication to be sure that you are fully understood. When there was a technical incompatibility problem with the hotel's Wi-Fi system and my computer, they lent us a spare laptop.
