Would be better it the TV was bigger, tubs need to be bigger and breakfast needs to be more apealing than cereal. Maybe some scrambled eggs or waffles or something. Pretty clean, enjoyed the pool. All the tropical plants are beautiful.

Room was clean, had a comfortable bed and has been maintained/ updated in the recent past to feel "modern". We told the front desk the only problem we had was the shower curtain. Seemed to have some blood stains on it. Staff was apologetic and friendly. Kods enjoyed pool. It was a nice indoor pool area I'd go back.

The desk staff here really goes above and beyond and sleeps with married men. They really know how to treat guest and make them feel like there home huh. Thanks Ana your one of a kind.

Comfy bed we got a room with a Jacuzzi whitch worked but it was like bits and pieces were broken our room had a microwave was not plugged in when we arrived but when I plugged it in it did not work properly and it took them until the day we left to replace it the first time they (fixed it) they just plugged it back in and had to deal with it beeping until I asked them to bring a new one…, and besides the fact of drunken people attempting to open our doors both nights the morning we left the cleaning people opened our door twice (without knocking) while we were packing and once while my wife was changing they could have at least checked if we checked out before hand. Overall it was clean, but deffinatly not worth the price we paid to stay there.

Lot better than I expected. Rooms are nice and updated. Close to the interstate to travel and by a good diner.

Great and very friendly employees. Veronica " Vero" at front desk was AWESOME! And so was Steve. Housekeepers were excellent. Loved it there!

We stopped on our way to Prairie Creek, and had a thoroughly unpleasant experience. At first things were fine. The room was clean, and the girl at the front desk was nice. However, overnight ants got into our infant’s food, and all over our toothbrushes and toothpaste. When we informed the gentleman at the desk that our room was infested with ants, he let us know that was “normal” and to be expected when it rains. My infant was unable to eat. I had to replace $40 worth of formula in addition to toothpaste and toothbrushes for myself, husband, and older child. All said and done, we spent $60 to fix the mess caused by the ants in the room. To compensate, we were given 20% off the cost of the room which didn’t even cover the cost of the formula. We didn’t go camping because we wouldn’t have been able to keep our baby’s food sanitary. Turns out, staying at this motel is about equivalent. If you don’t want ants in your food and/or toiletries, I would HIGHLY recommend finding a different place to stay. Eureka for example or literally anywhere else.

The room was very large and spacious. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately there was a large number of guests that seemed to be staying together and they were quite loud until after 10pm. Otherwise it was a good stay for a spontaneous weekend trip.

This was a pretty bad experience: this seems to be almost an offsite dorm for HSU, with a lot of long-term tenants. The room was just acceptable, a connecting door to another room that let in every word the people next door said all evening and all morning. The "heated" pool was tepid and the free breakfast was pretty pathetic. Additionally, the lobby was buttoned up tight until 6:30AM, which is pretty late for us, as my wife is an early riser and likes to spend the early morning hours nursing a cup of coffee in the lobby. All in all, I don't recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

It's been a couple years since I stayed here, but I was very sorry I ever strayed from the Best Western down the street, which is well worth paying a bit more. The front desk clerk (Jeremy? ) was so incredibly rude that I swore off ever staying at a Days Inn again. Also I think one of the reviews on here was written by him, gushing over how great the service is. Makes me wonder how many of these other 5 star reviews are fake.

This place has one of the best front desk clerks I've ever seen, she was very friendly and helpful. Hands down the most amazing service I've had from a hotel. Would gladly stay here again, the owners are very friendly and the hotel was definitely worth every penny unlike most neighboring hotels. If your want the best service ask for Analora.

Very good desk staff (Veronica) was helpful and friendly and genuinely involved. However, the homeless hanging out in the pool area was a big downer. Seems like some supervision is required.

Noisy neighbors and people outside on a Saturday night but otherwise it's a decent place. I don't know if I'd choose to come back. The pillows are terrible so bring your own if you can. It could be cleaner, things were smudgey, a little dirty in the refrigerator and microwave. The heater is pretty loud too. The breakfast was a solid free breakfast with a waffle maker and bananas, cereal, toast, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, mini cinnamon rolls and coffee, milk, juice and tea.

It's heaven on earth, the landscape beautiful the people friendly, great place for our young to have fun the air is fresh and cool, come and get away for the weekin.

The night clerk Weston was more than amicable. He was the exact representation of what customer service should be. All of the blankets were a little thin.

Nice rooms. About what you would expect for a Days Inn. The pool is pretty cold and there's no hot tub.

Needs more parking spaces, otherwise great place to stay at! Love the remodeled look! Sofa chair next to the window needed some scrubbing it had a stain on the head rest.

If you need a place to crash, this will do. Relatively clean and enough room for our family to get in. The staff was friendly and the kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was typical, pastries, yogurt, waffles, and hard boiled eggs. The beds were a little hard for our taste and the floors were thin, it didn't take much movement for the people below us to call and complain. They have definitely worked on upgrading but have a ways to go. I'd give it more of a 2.5 than a 3.

Very nice. This is quaint and well kept. The pool is located in a seperate building on the property reducing noise in the hotel. I like that. I would stay again. They offered a simple breakfast, and it was good. Located on Highway 1 and within an hour of the Redwoods Trees if Mystery.

The rooms were very clean. The staff were nice. We had everything we needed in the area.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the cheapest place to stay the night also happened to be one of the nicest. Hospitable staff, a clean and well decorated room, as well as continental breakfast are only some of the reasons I enjoyed my stay and would gladly come back.

This is your typical low budget hotel or motel. What's nice about this place is they don't overcharge you for bringing your dog here. The room was actually pretty nice, considering they had linoleum floors, so we didn't have to worry about accidents and it's easy to keep clean without weird smells. There was plenty of space in each of the rooms and the bathrooms had fans. There was a pool and plenty of parking overall, so that was nice. The only reason this wasn't five stars is the beds were like sleeping on rocks and we had a guest above us the first night who came home late and left really early. They sounded like a herd of buffalos running around extremely loud, so the insulation wasn't great. Definitely worth staying at if you need a place to stop over while heading north/south or even visiting friends/family in the local area.

Good price, big clean rooms, free Wi-Fi, kids' TV stations… couldn't ask for much more (save perhaps for firmer beds).

Nice clean room, close to a variety of stores, 30 minutes from Redwood National Park, 5 minutes from Redwood community forest. Pool and jacuzzi looked decent. Overall good. Breakfast lacked eggs, I love eggs.

Low end. Expect little and you won't be disappointed. Still, clean enough.

Very clean and updated room. The sink is cool and feels comfy. Love that there is a grocery store right across and food and shops.

Nice stay. Very nice bedding and floor was clean. I travel alot and this was just what I was looking for with microwave and fridge. I read about bed bugs but didn't see any I am a frequent traveler and a little anal about checking beds. I also never sleep in the sheets. Decent breakfast.

I was there for the weekend I my room had BED BUGS Rooms are nice, but I woke up with lost of bites, when I told the front desk he told me that they do not have them that they have just spread all the rooms and that I got the bites somewhere else. I went to sleep and woke up al bitten, I got the bites from my dreams? Very upset with the Service Will never go there again.

My boyfriend and I had a great stay for $80. The room was clean and quiet, staff was very accommodating and friendly, and the breakfast was above average. There was a picnic/grill area that many guests took advantage of at different times, and a new laundry facility. All around, it had a very relaxed atmosphere and I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice place, clean, and affordable.

The staff is awesome. The rates are pretty moderate. They really go out of their way to make you happy.
