Motel 6 Hemet Inn

It was as good as one could expect from a motel 6, but I'd say it was not worth the $90 for a 2 bed room. Maybe $75. Pos-Spacious, large bathtub, mini fridge Neg-Dirty floors (my feet were blackened walking from the shower to the bed), broken lamps (I will inform the desk on my way out), leaky bathroom faucet Many people claimed it was in a "shady" area, but it wasn't as bad as I was expecting from all the reviews! If you're worried about your kids or something, just follow the buddy system and you'll be alright. It's right next to a Wendy's, which is great.

Good, solid, basic room. Faux wooden floors that were clean and no dingy carpet. Nice pillows. Adequate sheets. Big mini fridge. Tiny microwave. Good table and chairs for eating or work area. Convenient location. Amazingly well-stocked shop with food and toiletries, etc. Good price.

About an hour into our stay, our bathroom light started leaking a steady stream of water for a few minutes. I called the front desk and they had someone come take a look about an hour after I called. He said it was from steam in the bathroom above us. Bases on the gallon or so of water on our floor it was not steam. He caulked the upstairs bathtub but was in and out of our room about 5 times. I asked the front desk if they would comp us or offer us a discount. They said Stella the manager would get in touch with me. She never did.

We were so very disappointed with our stay as well as feeling unsafe! We tried to inform them of the nasty condition of the pool restroom and was told to notify someone else. Sorry, not my job. The gate surrounding the pool was continually left open by hotel staff. I would think that would be a safety issue. There was lipstick on my pillow case, definitely not my brand! The only staff member that was hospitable, was the young lady that checked us in…

I will commend them for having a clean room ready for us. And I also liked the little store located just off to the side of the motel's lobby. (I was surprised that they DIDN'T charge an exuberant amount for their well-stocked snack supply. ) However, although they did provide free morning coffee in the lobby, there were no coffee makers in the rooms themselves — — — something I always look forward to and for lack of which, I felt VERY disappointed. Not only THAT, but the rooms ALSO had no microwaves! I thought this was a given in ANY motel you go to. But not at Motel 6! I'm not sure WHY they don't have these two simple things! Considering I am a coffee connoisseur, and I also like to reheat food I may have ordered out, having a microwave is pretty important to me!

This hotel did not have a coffee machine neither a hair dryer. If is very plain. There was writing on the walls. The beds were not comfortable. The room needs a deep clean.

We only stayed one night and I wasn't expecting much from a motel 6 to be honest. However the rooms were surprisingly nice for what we paid and you got a lot if room. The service at the lobby was great. The only issue I had was that the floors were clearly in need of being mopped. I walked around the entire evening with bare feet and when I went to put my socks on in the morning I found my feet were black with grime. Otherwise it was a fairly prsent stay.

Rooms were quite clean for a motel 6. Floors could use a good mopping. Sheets were clean.

Disgusting! I thought I liked this place and thought the staff was more welcoming then ever … think again! so glad I hadnt gone to lay down yet, unfortunately for my business partner she had already fallen asleep to wake up out of her sleep with bed bugs all over here! as I booked thru booking. Com I called the front desk first and then the hotel themselves they were told me ti shush. And then refused to refund my nonstop.

Coffee only available from 7 to 10. Rooms are clean but amenities are very basic. People at front desk are very pleasant and helpful.

We asked for a non smoking room and did not get one. The toilet and floors were not very clean. Lights were missing bulbs. The proprietor was very nice.

Didn't like the check in process with copying my driver's license info, even for the 2nd guest — didn't seem secure having that laying around. However they did give me the copy back at my request during check out. Liked the hardwood floor and separate eating area.

No hot water! No tissue. No clock. No shampoo. We should have gone across the street.

The staff is helpful and understanding. I have three children and they are very much Happy here. Very courteous to our do not disturb sign. When I needed clean towels and sheets they got on it right away. So far, I'm very happy with our stay.

I requested a ground floor. I didn't get it. The clerks response was "Do you want your money back? " F***** b****!

This past year, I have stayed at ten different Motel 6 locations. I am happy to say that most have greatly improved over the years. This one in Hemet, CA, was a major disappointment. If I wasn't visiting friends in the area I would never have stayed. My "non-smoking" room had a bed cover that was riddled with holes from cigarette burns. I was there for three nights. The day I arrived, there were dog droppings in the parking lot, at the entrance to the main corridor. It was still there three days later. The 2x4 spaces that were allocated to "walk" dogs were filled to overflowing with dog droppings. The nice stand to give tenants doggie bags to pick up droppings was empty (which was not a major problem since most owners have bags) The small container to hold the bags after they were used was filled to overflowing. Day one, I mentioned this to the person at the desk and was told they were glad I told them. Day four when I was leaving the container was still full. Nothing had been done. If Motel 6 is to be the go-to place to bring our pets then please make sure there is someone to keep the dog areas maintained.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had ever. I spent 6 days at $96 per night. Not only did the service sucks, but my three guest and myself, which everyone was on the paper work, was accused of harassing a maid. She asked us what services would we like, we told her all the services that she provides. Nothing crazy; there was witnesses there who was also renting a room, my three people from my room, one of them being my brother’s wife, and myself playing monopoly so we didn’t want to leave the room because we was in the middle of our game. When the maid said we had to leave the room, we told her it was ok and said “What kind of service is this where we have to leave our room for y’all to clean; then she left. So where is the harassment? The next morning, we was asked if we was going to stay, we told them yes. I said I will be down to pay, then the office sent someone back to tell us they didn’t have room for use so we had to leave. When I went down to the office the lady told me they didn’t have room, plus the maid complained about our complaining and the office sided with the maid although we have witnesses (Male and Female) who was there during the incident. And to top it off, my sister in law was bitten by bedbugs, and yes, we have pictures. I would give this hotel the lowest rating possible, a Double Zero.

It was a last minute thing. I found the place clean and tidy. The staff was very helpful as was the convenience store.

I love the size of the room and the maids were very nice the cable limited but thats ok. The problem is that the hot water heaters are turned off at night so the act of taking a hot bath 8s challenging because there is no hot water.

The manager is rude. The rooms had roaches and flies by the millions and mildew started to develop on the walls. They make maintenance paint over the mildew like that is suppose to fix the problem. Can we all say better business bureau. And just because they put in new sinks doesnt make that an upgrade. Housekeepers are very rude. Motel 6 needs to get it together. Haven't you all ever hear of THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT?

My stay there was pleasant, only thing I didn't like was the shower water wasn't hot at all, it was barely warm, so I had to take quick shower because it was cold… But other than that? Everything was nice.

From the time we walked in, we had a great experience. The women at the desk was so nice.

I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff. I loved the large spacious room. Then I noticed that I was not allowed to have visitors in my room, the one I paid for. I felt like I was 15 again. If this was explained to me, I would have went to another motel. I am an adult, this is not prison, I was really upset. Then at 11:30, after my curfew I was getting cleaned up for bed I washed my face and the sink was stopped up. If it wasn't so late I would leave. Needless to say I am NEVER coming back here. Oh by the way I called the front desk to inform them about the sink and I was asked if I needed a plunger. I guess I am in prison and plunging the sink was hard labor. At 11:00 am I was told, you have to get out now by housekeeping. Why should I have to pay for this inconvenience. I feel like I should have been paid for having this bad experience. Not happy… NEVER AGAIN.

WOW! I can honesty say I’ve slept in nicer dumpsters. I’d like to rate the housekeeping over our three day stay but we never had any. The shower knob was one of the interesting features of the room with its “hit or miss” temperature adjustment, it was funny and novel at first but became downright irritating after 20 seconds. I do appreciate the fake hardwood floors nice and loud and must make crime scene clean ups a breeze. We did become good friends with the lady in the office due to the fact that we have to walk down to the office and exchange our towels every night. I believe the reason they offer towels slightly larger than a wash cloth is to be able to slide them through the slot in the security glass. All in all it was our “Last Resort” when it came to lodging options in scenic downtown Hemet (other than maybe kicking in the plywood door on the abandoned Marie Callander’s) Best of luck to potential visitors and as Tom Bodette said “they’ll leave the light on for you” well ours was burned out.

By far, the best Motel 6 I've ever stayed in! Just wish I had brought my bathing suit. The pool and Jacuzzi looked wonderful.

Based on getting a non smoking room that had been smoked in. Cigarette burn marks on the furniture and stunk. I've not a had a problem at this location before. Pay for ice?

The franchise owner & some staff members have bad attitudes! On check out day, I called the front office ahead of time, to inform them that I was NOT feeling well… I explained that I needed a little bit of extra time & asked if that was ok…? I was told "Yes, that was fine! " Then, a few minutes after check out, the owner got REALLY angry about the staff giving an ok for the extra time… The staff were already in the process of cleaning other rooms & the owner threatened to call the police to get me out right at that moment… She REALLY stressed out my 2 boys & myself… I was NOT there for extra hours on end… It should not have been that much of an issue… Although, there are a few staff members that were compassionate & understanding toward my situation & my children being present during the threat of calling the police! I have been there a few other times & NOT one problem… That is bad customer service!

The motel lobby is very open and clean. Tea and coffee available. Checked in with Celene who was professional and friendly. I had a problem with the key card for my door. Fortunately, the maintenance man was right there and very quickly fixed the issue, so it was a non-issue. Thanks for your extremely quick response! The room was new and super clean. No carpet, the way I like it. My feet stayed clean although I walked around barefoot. The table and chairs and fridge are in the entrance and separated from the bedroom area by a half wall. That's nice. The problem is that I was downstairs from some very noisy people who were moving around furniture or chairs around midnight. Then they kept walking and pacing around very heavily for at least an hour after that, ruining my sleep. I imagine it's quieter upstairs but, since the smoking rooms are upstairs, non-smokers won't have that pleasure. Another note on the smoking rooms: I am extremely sensitive to cigarette smoke and can't stay in a room that smells like smoke. Fortunately, my room smelled clean and fresh.

Great price, for weekly rate, best way to save money. Good maid service, with pool and it stays relatively clean. 24 front desk. BEST PET POLICY EVER! No breakfast A lot issues with the keys but the fix it.

Recently I've stayed a lot at motel 6. Due to losing my home. However they were polit, didn't bother me, got to have my bulldog with me. Not bad at all, will probably go again. However, the need to fix the bathroom fans or put one in.

I have absolutely no complaints regarding my stay. My room was excellent my service experience was met with the best treatment and response. I would definitely stay again should I need to be in the surrounding area again.

The room was rated non-smoking, yet smelled very strong of nicotine. The staff pretty decent. The pool area very dirty. Lots of trash in the parking lot, including three mattresses.

Friendly staff and large rooms, at the Hemet motel 6. After a technical hiccup, Wi-Fi was good. The only real issue I found was that the TV's HDMI ports are locked out, so you can't use you're own device through it. Bring a laptop or tablet if you plan on watching Netflix, Hulu or HBO now.

Not only is the bottom of the tub black. Literally, but the sheets werent changed. I went and got bleach and cleaned up. My socks were black because the floor wasnt mopped. And if that isnt bad enough they dont let you hook up anything to the tv. So We'll be out of here Monday thank God. Ill never choose here again.

Best motel 6 I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in several. Clean, Quiet, and a pleasant helpful staff. They have went out of their way to help me with all my request, with courtesy and professionalism. Great deal for the price and everything in the rooms actually works. Gotta give credit where credit is due.

I just stopped in to drop off some food for a friend. But as soon as I got out of the car management was on me, asking who im visiting, no guests. But the agreement my friend signed states no over night guests. Guests must leave by 10:00 pm. I found it rude and I would not reccommend this place to anyone.

They lock the lobby doors around 8:00 p. M. (so we couldn't use the microwave) When I asked if this was a bad area the clerk said no… So then I asked why they lock the lobby doors so early and the clerk responded "Because they don't want to get robbed". Then I said, "Well that definitely sounds like this IS a BAD area! " and he just shrugged his shoulders.

I was pleasantly surprised overall. There was last minute availability for non-smoking, my room was spotless, and seemed like new. I like that there was a partition between the bed and table/fridge area — it gives the illusion of more space and privacy. I felt safe and it was very quiet. My only issue was that the key demagnetized before I got to my room and the toilet flushing sound was like a bear rampaging in the forest.

Absolutely a great place to stay from the staff to the facilities. Clean, super nice, great rooms, and close to town. Will be returning soon.

Very clean, comfortable bed, great shower. The only problem I encountered was completely unusable Wi-Fi.

The staff woman don't care a bit for customers. And they blame it on corporate when it's them not giving a damn about you. They sold our room before we got to even check out and so when we went before 11 around 10am to pay ;because check out is at 11, they had sold our room so we couldn't get another day to try to sleep in some more no we we're told the whole motel was sold out when the parking lot wasn't even full it was empty only like 10 cars out of the whole lot. And did they care hell no they said not their problem when it should be since it they were obviously lying those old hags mad at us because we could we're young and are better than how they were in our years because that's why they're working at the motel 6 instead of having their own career or business. Haters but thank God our day is still under stress when they were trying not care and cause us stress.

I hd a good stay and I return every year because the price is right and the stay for the most part is always good.

First they gave me a nice room, and was already running late for a dinner date. After setting the dog up and ready to walk out the door, I get a call from lobby saying the dog isn't allowed in that particular building. So I had to repack the dog up, drive back to the lobby and get a new key for a different room. I grab the dog and things, walk back upstairs to my new room and the key doesn't work. So while carrying everything I went back downstairs to the lobby to complain she fixed key then finally was able to settle dog in and left. I think after dinner I'm just going to ask for my money back and find a more competent hotel.
