It was very clean. It was easy to get to and they had a room available for us very last minute. The woman was very friendly. Overall it was a good experience. However, it was a motel, and provided motel type rooms. It was pretty comfy, the bathroom was huge. Which was slightly creepy, there was a lot of open space. But that is not a complaint.

In all honesty, I haven't been to a motel6 in 15 years. Having said that, I didn't expect things to be any different from the last time I went, in which rooms were ~$30. Seeing how the price was now $100, my expectation was that the quality of the rooms were better, fitting more of that price. Turns out, it was still at the quality of $30. Because of that, I cannot recommend Motel6 to ANYONE. The carpet was falling apart. The room had a weird stench. The beds weren't comfortable AT ALL. Though I did not find any actual critters, I felt at any time roaches would swarm the floor. When I walked in, walked around in the room, I felt like I had hit rock bottom with my life. I hope that paints an accurate picture for you how I felt when I entered the room and thought about sleeping in it. The TV was an old CRT. I mean… this is 2018. CRTs? It goes to show how much the company was willing to spend on making sure the customer felt comfortable, at home. Now, I realize you are a motel, hence the name of your company, Motel 6. I should not be having expectations higher than what I described. But the PRICE! $100?!?! Clearly I am unhappy with the price more than anything. Had I paid ~$30 for the room, everything would be as expected and my rating would be higher. But to pay $100 for the room, I expect $100 quality in the components of the room.

To everyone complaining about being outdated, while true, its because of this that they can do the low rate, otherwise update and up the rates. I kinda like it not being updated and being basic. It is however, clean and well maintained. It's not a bad place at all. If you expect more go to the double tree and spend 200 or so a night. They do have security around the clock. Just like with anywhere (even nice places) things happen, people loiter etc. I had a crazy person knock on my door but security and police took care of it. Nothing horrible, just a local yokel. Ok for being Anaheim and being California in general even the run down areas still look very nice lol. This is by no means a horrible area, but it is a low cost place and demographically certain people get drawn to it so you may see some homeless or folks staggering through occasionally. But all in all not a bad deal whatsoever, pretty dam nice for the rate and stay. I would recommend if you're on a budget.

This is a very nice Motel 6 with a beautiful location. The room was clean and tidy. The only reason why I have it a 4 Star is the TV in the room is so small and very outdated compared to some of the ones I have gone to before. Needs some updating but overall very good.

We ended up staying here off and on for a while, and the staff here is the best. I've stayed in fancy hotels and and never been treated like family as I was here. All of the gals that run the office, the maintenance men, the security guards, and all the housekeepers were incredibly kind. Dustin, the manager is hands down the best, and should be the CEO of Motel 6. He is on top of every aspect non stop. If there's an issue he'll handle it with a smile. Nothing against the property itself, because it was clean and safe and all that, but if Dustin were to leave they could go ahead and burn that place to the ground, because as far as I'm concerned that's his place, and it's the best motel 6 I've stayed at across the nation simply because he's there, and picks the best staff to operate it. He should be at the very least the manager of the entire west coast. Maybe he should be training managers himself, because if every motel 6 had a Dustin they'd all get far better reviews.

Check in was easy. Rooms were readily available. First time at this property and it was great. Food options in the same parking lot and juxb better than others I have stayed at.

The rooms were decent but unfortunately out dated. I prefer the remodeled Motel 6 rooms that I've stayed in at other locations. This location may have remodeled rooms. The staff through out entire property was extremely helpful and very friendly. This location is nice because it is centrally located in O. C. Plus there is a Denny's Restaurant and Jack In The Box in the same parking lot.

Do not stay here. Go elsewhere… Came into room and it smelled like mold. The carpet had a huge stain from the front door all the way to the bathroom entry. AC was on all night and the room was still hot. Not to mention AC unit was extremely loud. Just not worth it. I will never stay at a motel 6 again.

I had a great stay :D. Thank you Motel 6 Staff, your quality customer service and friendly caring attitude was much appreciated. My room was quiet and that was the best I have slept in 2 weeks! There were no loud parties, wild kids, or drunk idiots stumbling down the hallways. That is my usually experience when I travel for work and have to stay in a hotel. Here people were out and about just chilling and doing their thing… quietly :) Thank you Motel 6 for the peaceful and restful stay. I will stay with you again next time business brings me to town. I decided to stay there because of the location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Their room seemed very tired and definitely could use a new mattress. I paid $63 and was pleased for the value but due to cigarette burns on the sink and in the curtain and the smell of smoke coming from other rooms… I don't think I could recommend it as is. I value Motel 6 and with a few corrections this could be a great room and Future stay.

Clean rooms. Convenient location. Credit card machine was down when we checked in, luckily we had cash! Only one channel on the television selection that had children content. Most channels were news or sports. Fan didn’t work in bathroom so room was stuffy after shower. Air conditioner worked great. Wall outlets loose, so plug to charge cell phone wouldn’t stay in power socket. Standard room. Small. Basic. Reasonable prices. Would stay again.

I recently just stayed here and it was very accommodating. The employees were very nice especially the young lady named Melissa. She was very helpful and made my stay easier and welcoming. Will be staying here again if needed in the future and would recommend!

We had a very nice experience this past weekend. The young lady who checked us in late on Friday night was very professional and friendly. She helped me again on Saturday morning and she is definitely a valuable employee. The property was clean and up to date. I appreciated the pet friendly environment, lots of grass and waste bags in the courtyard for the dogs. Thanks.

This place was a good place to stay. Close to Disneyland, Anaheim Stadium and the Pond. Fair pricing. Pet friendly. Room was OK, had 40" TV but limited cable channels. Just like all Motel 6 have to pay extra for Wi-Fi, LAME. The water pressure in the shower is a joke. Stayed for 2 nights. Walking distance to 7-11, but not much else within walking distance. Would probably stay here again.

I pretty much always have a last minute meeting to go to and I'll end up booking a room here. The front desk clerk "Sandy" always seems to be the one to help me because I'm always calling At the last minute. To me; She is the face of Motel 6 orange. She is very respectful and has the most kind heart I've ever known. So I always have a pleasant time when I'm there. So who ever is reading this if you get Sandy to help you give her a brighter smile and a sincere thank you from me as well. She deserves it!

My Stay at the motel six was very good I am not very accessible with the pets of their staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable and I really liked that you have places to go to eat and shops to go around.

The bitter woman who attended to me and her name is Mildred was very rude to me on my visit with my dad at the Motel. I asked for a room and wanted to see the availability and price for the room. She started raising her voice and acting very aggressive toward me and made me feel unwelcome and very uncomfortable and disrespected. I work on a full-time basis as a senior litigation paralegal with the well-known and prominent Newport Beach Law Firm for over 10 years so I know how to treat people with respect, dignity, hospitality and courtesy because I deal with very important and high-profile clients everyday. Mildred was intimidated by my presence apparently so much so that she had the security guard go to my room, where me and my dad were watching TV and having a private conversation, and escort me back to the office so that I can be checked out of the premises without a refund. I honestly do not recall Mildred telling me anything about registering by dad at the counter. My dad was only there for 4 hours on a visit with me while my house was being painted from the inside and outside by professional painters and that's the reason why I was visiting the motel that day. Mildred had me pay an additional fee for having my dad visit me for four hours and she was very rude and aggressive towards me. Apparently Mildred has negative and aggressive attitude towards everyone including me and my 90 year old dad.

The staff at this location are amazing. The GM Dustin really goes above and beyond to accommodate his guests needs. All the gals in the office are so nice and helpful as well. Yes location needs an upgrade but the great staff makes up for that. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a motel for a few days or even a few weeks. Can't say enough about how great everyone is working at this location.

Did not have refrigerator or microwave, the price of the recervacion online was 294. Dls for 2 nights and they announced 59.99 per night when we retired.

This motel has some history. At check in, manager was great! She was very helpful and couldn't have asked for better treatment. Was told about the stepped up security due to motel's history. A friend came to my room to bring me some items she had. Then a different manager came and said she wasn't allowed to stay there and if he saw her there again, we would all be asked to leave. The following day, she was in the area and stopped to see if she had left her cell phone. She had and as she was leaving, manager came up and said he thought she had been there all night and asked if we were checking out… we said yes and he nodded as if to say "good". I'm sure that my name is on the banded list now…

Room 409 was disgusting. It was a smoking room but the smell was horrifying strong like they haven't been air out for months. We had to go the store to buy spray and oil plug to try and mask the smell. No fridge no microwave. The rug was stained from who knows what there were burnt holes in the blankets. Why aren't your smoking rooms have more windows or located in the corners?

We booked for two nights. The front staff was extremely nice and helpful, probably only reason to come back. The rooms were absolutely disgusting, our room smelt like animal urine and the floors (with carpet) must not have been cleaned for years. Also when we returned from Disneyland from New Years Eve celebration at around 3am BOTH of our room keys had been deactivated. We had to go all the way to the front desk to get these reactivated. As this wasn't a huge issue it was just an inconvenience. Otherwise its a decent place if you just need a bed to sleep on.

Easy location to find & close to freeway. Friendly & helpful staff. Clean & comfortable room. Would definitely stay again.

The service was 5 star. The room was fine, the area of town seems busy busy. Only stayed one night it was fine.

It's was okay. The television didnt work well. The picture was blury but still watch able. There didn't appear to be enough parking spaces but other than that. I enjoyed my stay and slept great! The beds were really comfortable.

Rooms clean and tidy. I stayed for the closeness that you have with Disney, as the motel is a great budget option if you are planning to go to the park.

Am here now and bed sheets look wrinkled too late now to ask for new clean sheets. I will in the morning. Have my grand kids with me and good thing I always carry Lysol with me and extra sheets and covers for them. Slept on top of bed sheets and covered pillows with our own sheets just in case. Place smells like mold. Yes they try their best for as old as this place is and it should be remodeled torn down and reconstructed. The homeless they can't help due to the times and placement of motel. Will find out what happens later. Updates for follow.

The location was good. But the room was By far the worst room I have ever stayed in. I got a non smoking room with burn holes all over the sheets. The room door had a smashed roach on it, leving me to believe that the room is not cleaned. We saw 3 roaches on The walls. The towels we had got from the front desk had blood stains on one of the towels. I guess we get what we pay for. But I will not be coming back to this location. But I do love the Motel 6 as a company. Just this location never again!

Horrible. Never again will I stay here. More than once after entering my room security knocked to make sure it was me after watching me walk from the restaurant, and to make sure I had no visitors. Most of the customers here are nasty trash. The room smelled like cat pee. There were under cover police swarming the place, climbing through windows, wearing bullet proof vest. People handcuffed everywhere. It started in the evening and continued the whole next day. How safe and relaxing is that. Horrible place to stay. Tell us about your experience with us! All of our outlets don't work. We had to unplug the TV to use the outlet. Our lamps by the bed don't work. We asked for a non smoking room. So naturally we got a smoking room. The floor was filthy. When I got out of the shower, my get were already black. You actually felt the dirt and grime on the floor and way to many homeless people renting rooms. I would never come back here.

The worst room Ive ever stayed in. Both bed spreads had spots, one had a big cigarette burn it. The pillow cases were so wrinkled it looked like someone just woke up. The bed sreads were wrinkled as well. I went to the office to get better spreads. They were a little better but one had a smaller cigarette burn in it. I heard a dog barking half the night. The vent on the bathroom is hanging down. Just a terrible room and uncomfortable night.

The hotel is located by the freeway and the homeless tent city rumor is true. I would know, because I stayed in a room that gave me a great view of it. The main issue that I have with this hotel is that at around 3 in the morning, I saw a roach crawling up a wall that I killed but still, this place needs to do something about that, because I read at least a few more reviews that mention this also. So, if you decide to stay here, BE WARNED, because everything that the other reviews are saying is true.

The one younger girl working the front desk was super nice. She needs a raise. More security is needed due to the homeless tent City just over the fence from your property. Overall no complaints.

The staff was absolutely pleasant! LOVED them, HOWEVER, I went into the room, took a nap, got comfortable, ordered pizza and watched a little TV. I was in the room for about 3 hours. As the day started to settle into the evening, I saw a big ROACH crawling up the wall near the sink area. I freaked out because I don't do well with insects; especially ones as DISGUSTING as ROACHES. I went downstairs IMMEDIATELY and told the front desk and then HURRIED to get all of my things out of that room. The front office was very understanding and offered me a different room but I was not able to get the thought of it all out of my mind. They were able to refund my money and remained professional. Your staff was amazing. Both day and night. They were very understanding that everyone comes from all walks of life. There was no discrimination the only people I saw turned away were those that looked like they would create major trouble maybe violent things. Your maid service was awesome too. Very clean. And I felt safe during the night My girlfriend smokes and Everytime she did I saw security watching her for her safety. Love this motel 6. Top 10!

Front Desk and staff members were all great. They do a great job for what they have to work with. We had to change rooms after check in. Bedding was worn out. Holes in comforters, spots all over the carpet, window coverings had holes in them. All items in the room were out dated. Counter Tops by the sink all damaged and chipped. I went up the the front desk and asked for a different room. I was give two room keys. The first one I went into was even worse then the one we checked into. The second one had wood floors and was a bit better. After changing rooms we noticed that there was a Tent City of homeless people staying just outside the parking lot of the room that we checked into. I think you need to take a good look at the property and see what can be done to renovate it. Again the Staff was great but is has to be hard deal with a property that needs to be renovated.

Check in and check out were fast. Front desk was friendly. Everything went as well as it could go.

THis was the dirtiest motel 6 I have ever stayed in and the staff did not care and they were unprofessional. This room was never cleaned properly if at all and the blankets had vomit and the towels had lipstick and the room smelled like drugs and there were people loitering and partying on the property and in the room next door all night until 5am and the staff did nothing!

Location was right next to the Angel's stadium. Rooms are clean and well kept. However, there aren't any toiletries. Service was horrible when looking for towels or new sheets. Management was helpful though. But they are often too busy.

If it were up to me, For business meetings, it's hands down one of the best locations in the city. The views are terrific, and the service and catering is top notch. If you're lucky enough to have them bring up the sundae bar with all the toppings, you almost forget you're there to work.

Awful experience… checked in went back to my car to retrieve some belongings and was assualted by homeless? vagrant or some such person. Seems to be several of this type hanging openly in parking lot at mid-afternoon. This person followed my husband back through the lobby to our room door stating that he would be back. I have a 6 month old baby and was very unnerved. The police were called by staff and we were guarded by them as we hastily packed to leave. The front desk did promise to refund one day of our 3 day reservation and this event happened back in Dec. 2015. Never heard one word from Motel 6 From what I could gather this type of incident was not ALL that uncommon for this motel. I was asked "didn't I know where I was? " How exactly was I supposed to know the answer to this… I was a tourist. Internet does not provide this info as a rule. I guess you really do get what you pay for. My opinion of this place… stay if you like BUT BE VERY CAREFUL.

I would have given this place a five star, but to my amazement I was unable to book another stay due to their sink mirror not sticking to the wall. The sink mirror during my stay was never fully pinned down to the wall. It was like this when I got into the room. Not thinking anything of it, I left it as is. The next night they deny me access to staying at the motel again due to the mirror they claimed I had broke. I laughed because I thought they were kidding. But no, I guess for management it's easier to put the blame on a tangible guest instead of forgetting who they gave the room to the prior stay. I believe management let's there buddies/ friends use rooms that aren't in use during the nights hence why they couldn't put the blame on them because they would be out of a job. I hope motel 6 sends an apology. Other than that I had no complaints.

Stayed here last night, got only 2 hrs of sleep cause of bed bugs. Everytime I'd start to fall asleep, id start itching somewhere else, red welts now on chest, back, even between fingers. As if that wasn't enough, the cigarette burned sheets, comforter, carpet etc. Looks like a pay by the hour room.

Rooms are generic and outdated. Customer service is good. Very poplar hotel for truckers, lots of parking, next door to Denny's.

The cleanliness of the room was disgusting even for a budget motel. There was visible filth where the carpet meets the wall all around the room, dust covering the TV I did not want to touch anything. Room was not ready at check in at 3 pm. Staff on hand did not care about the inconvenience to me. I observed hookers coming out of room and drug deals going on while waiting for my room in my car outside. I ended up paying for the motel but stayed at a friends hotel that night because I did not want to go back to this Motel 6. Some SERIOUS restructuring of that Motel needs to happen. I will never even look at a Motel 6 again.

Room was nice. Staff was VERY accommodating and friendly. Gave 4 of 5 stars only because they don't offer free Wi-Fi, and for the price of the room, I certainly expected that my room should have had a microwave and fridge in it like every other room I have ever had at a Motel 6. I thought that those amenities standard. Unfortunately, that's not the case. That being said, I would absolutely stay at the Motel 6 on Goldenwest and Garden Grove Blvd. Again because the staff and accommodations are worth it.

Good rates, clean room, everything worked, but maids speak no english. Best motel 6 in Orange County. Except that Anaheim PD hassled me for ID and a room key to prove I was staying here, while walking back from the laundry room. The staff that checked me in were polite and funny. The coffee was perfect in the morning. Best trucker motel in town.

We had to call the office at 1:30 a. M. As we were woken up by the people above us who were making so much noise and banging that our walls were shaking along with the lamps attached to the walls in our room. We asked for no maid service on 1 day of our stay and the maid never came the entire week. The maid did not even check to see if we needed clean towels or anything else. I went into the office on one morning and requested the maid come that day as we were going to be out of the room with our small dog the entire day. When we returned the room was not touched. No maid came. I went to the office for some clean bath towels and they only had one bath towel. We ran out of toilet paper 2 days of our stay.

This place is disguting. Found hair on my sheets ants and cock roaches and the room stunk so bad. Never ever stay here! got a complete refund though.

My family and I had to move rooms a total of 3 times during our stay. The first move was due to horrible odor and lack of air conditioning in the first room (#210). When we moved to our other room (#211) the air conditioning worked, but the unit leaked badly, we even had a huge blower left in our room all day without knowing it. (My family and I went to Disney early in the morning and came back late that night to find our room with the blower. Thus the reason for our third move to room) Also, we had an infestation of ants in our room (#211), both of my children have food allergies and the snacks I had for them was completely wasted (about 60 dollars worth of food). Hated this whole stay, I will be looking into other motels the next time my family and I want to go to Disneyland.

Please please do not stay here. Me and my children stayed here for two night and our heads ended up infested with fleas. Towels where wet when we got new ones. Sketchy people just lingering outside til like 4 am. Lots of people obviously smoking Marijuana to the point it filled our room with the stench. Do not stay here.

Bait and switch pricing. Does not honor booking price. Booked two nights on a friday and saturday online. When I got there they wanted to charge me more for the second night. Why? Because it was memorial day. I didn't have any more time to argue over $8 difference, and it was late. Receptionist said manager would call me to talk about it. Never happened. Buyer beware of dishonest management.
