Fantastic 3 night stay here in January 2022. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. General manager Nick is very kind, attentive and ensures that you are experiencing a comfortable stay. Bachir and Morgan are so nice and very helpful as well. This boutique hotel is a little gem on the beach. The deck has gorgeous views and we slept every night hearing the waves. Steps take you down to the beach where you can enjoy a gorgeous walk every day. I love to swim and the quaint pool was a perfect temperature. Starbucks coffee (machine) always available in the lobby! Coffee drinkers appreciate this! It was quiet at this time during our stay because of time of the year and omicron. Overall a lovely stay and fantastic experience. Thank you Nick for making it so memorable.

Its a very nice little resort next to the beach. Good amenities, pool is nice and warm, especially after diving into the freezing cold ocean, which the resort is right next to. Great and courteous service from Nick, Bachie, Morgan, Luis!

If you’re looking for beautiful views, friendly people and a charming hotel — stay here! From the minute we checked in we felt welcomed and at home. The hotel is on the beach and provides chairs, towels and umbrellas…you can walk everywhere and the service is friendly and helpful. It’s an old hotel so don’t expect posh but do expect old school charm! We loved it and will be back!

Staff have all been great and room was clean but considering the price room 743 is a bummer. Shower fixture was broken one of the wall electric outlets next to sink did not work. And total lack of any view was disappointing.

I absolutely LOVED my experience at Capri Laguna! As soon as I came in I was greeted with a warm Laguna welcome by Robert at the front desk! He was SO friendly and courteous! He Went above and beyond to ensure I stayed in the best room to my liking! Ocean front Queen room was it! I immediately upgraded! It is absolutely GORGEOUS here! The room view is breathtaking! Bachir, Nick, Miss Morgan are a power team that has made this stay the best! They or attentive personable and more than relatable. I recommend this place to everyone in my family and the total strangers on the street. First 20 minutes after checking I booked for 4 more night over New Years. You have you to see it to believe it.

We had the best stay at the Capri Laguna! Right in the heart of Laguna Beach, it has everything you could ask for — beautiful, clean rooms, stunning views, beach access, and is close to everything Laguna has to offer (AKA amazing shops, restaurants, and more beaches). We oogled and awed over some of the most amazing sunsets from the rooftop to the patio to the beach to our room balcony itself. Plus, the staff here all go above and beyond — Nick, Morgan, and Bachir were all incredibly friendly and helpful. I pretty much had to be dragged out kicking and screaming we loved our stay so much. The most amazing hotel I ever been long time ago: great ocean view and accesibility, all the facilities you can imagine to have, general manager Nick and his service crew are really kind and attentive, good and free coffee 24 hours, clean and comfortable rooms, … I mean, I highly recommend to come with your wife or your complete family. And then you can also enjoy the beautiful and friendly city. Just come and see by yourself.

My friends and I came down to Laguna Beach and stayed at Capri Laguna for a ladies weekend birthday getaway. The staff at Capri was incredibly friendly and very helpful. The general manager, Nico, was exceptionally professional and very helpful in getting us into our room and making sure I found adequate parking. They hosted a Friday evening mixer on their Terrace overlooking the Pacific Ocean and you felt like you were part of a family. In the morning they had a continental breakfast and escorted us as guests all over so we knew where everything was. I will definitely be coming back to Capri Laguna. Denise.

Very nice people who try to make your stay enjoyable. Nice location, wonderful view of the ocean. Free shuttle stops right at the door. Frees you from driving and able to visit all that Laguna has to offer.

Just ok: We booked two nights here but because of availability we booked one night in a Beachfront King with Fireplace, and the next night in an Oceanfront King. The first room was nice, roomy, and charming but had a weird smell (moisture) and we could hear everything our neighbors were chatting up. The next night in the Oceanfront king, the room was more basic. One thing about this hotel is that there are a lot of stairs, and parking was a block away! Not very convenient, but the location was nice and you can't beat the view. However, we normally stay at other beachfront hotels in the area, and after trying this place, I have to say I'm glad we tried it, but it's not our favorite.

2nd stay bumped them up to 5 stars. What a wonderful place! Treated like royalty and feel like family at the same time. Indescribable. Nicholas is a true gentleman and I've never seen an unhappy face on any of the staff. Eclectic and comfortable. Very nice staff. Great value for the money. Beautiful beach front. Nice accommodations. Can walk to everything on the Highway.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The hotel was on the beach. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. I appreciate the hospitality. I will recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a beach vacation. The manager Nick was great and gave us great dinner recommendations.

I stayed for one night on a business trip and can highly recommend this hotel. The location on the beach was prime. They offer to put out chairs on the beach if you call the front desk, they have a heated pool, plus a free breakfast with pancakes, waffles, cereal, pastries, yogurt, juice and coffee, and the room was more than adequate. I even got a free upgrade to an ocean view from the manager, Nick, without even asking. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Weekend stay at Capri Laguna. Facility is beautiful and newly renovated. Had a queen room, small but enough space for two. Room had a large TV, closet space, fridge, microwave, and bathroom with a shower. Location has direct access to the beach, which was the quieter side and made our visit pleasant. They had a pool, but we did not use it.

Incredible hotel with amazing views right on the water! But the view isn’t the only incredible thing the staff here is outstanding! Nick, Paige and Bachir really made it feel like home. Will be back!

It's a lovely boutique hotel. Very homey, comfortable. Lovely room, bed, etc. The manager, Nick, was extremely helpful and courteous. And the two women at the desk, Page and Nia, were very nice as well. I needed a rest and I got one.

It was high tide but the coast line was beautiful with the ocean so near and rocks to have a picnic on. Steps leading down were great with a very sturdy railing and free of slippery sand, which was unexpected from other beaches I've visited, but it made it an even better experience.

Amazing location! Great pool, great views, great breakfast. John checked us in and he was awesome. I would have only given 4 stars (rooms are slightly dated) but John exceeded expectIons. We will be back to see John for sure.

Great service, have a continental breakfast that is pretty good, parking is ok, but there seemed to be enough spaces for everyone. The rooms are nice and clean. I would recommend it to my friends.

A nice, beachfront hotel in Laguna Beach. Many amenities provided, including free parking and free continental breakfast. The rooms were furnished well but were small and somewhat dated. And, as the locale is in Laguna Beach and on the water, you pay a premium for your stay. Granted, Capri is still cheaper than other nearby establishments. Speaking of locale, the hotel is also within short walking distance of shops and eateries.

Adorable hotel right on the beach. The pillows and beds are comfy, rooms are nice. The view is amazing. Hotel staff was very nice. The only issue I had was getting my luggage to the room. There are a lot of stairs to get to the beachside rooms. They offered help at check in, I declined without realizing how many stairs there were. Definitely ask for assistance!

Awesome place and staff. First night bed was really hard and hurt my back. Mentioned it to staff. They changed our room. Upgraded room with a better view to a room that the just put a new bed in. They packed and moved every thing for us. And for the next 6 nights checked with me to make sure I was comfortable.

The rooms are good, not great, but good. It's great that they have parking. Staff is SUPER nice! The view — — — my pic should speak for itself (taken from the 2nd level patio above the pool; no zoom; no filter). Will definitely be back.

Staying here for a quick weekend getaway felt like a dream. Love how the hotel is built up the cliff side. You can tell it's an older hotel, but the rooms are nicely decorated, clean, and the hotel offers nice amenities, including a pool, Continental breakfast, robes/microwave/mini fridge in the room. Our suite had sliding glass doors to our own private balcony with spectacular beach views. Listening to the crashing waves, we were hypnotized into relaxation. Once we checked in, we didn't want to leave our room. Hotel is within walking distance of some great boutiques and restaurants. Lots of stairs, but the wonderful folks working always offered to help with our bags. We'll definitely be visiting again. If you do order food in, pizza delivered from Gina's was awesome!

I could write pages of all the things I like at Capri Laguna, the awesome parking, the gorgeous hotel rooms, the amazing ocean feel. However the best part of the Capri is the AMAZING staff. I have stayed in hotels all around the world and have never met anyone as nice as the staff at the Capri. They are truly the people who make a great hotel incredible. You will never regret staying here.

Good service, rooms, and great beach location. We came in unannounced and the counter staff was great. Worked with us and showed us rooms to find us the right one for us. It is definitely and older building and they have done a pretty good job maintaining with some recent updates. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. For some reason though the bed frame is bigger than the bed so it hangs out so I smacked my toe. You will see in my pic.

Perfect beachfront property! This was our first stay and we will definitely be returning. The views are stunning, the location is perfect, and the rooms are comfy and spacious. It is low key and quiet and perfect for all ages. We stayed in the double king suite with the full kitchen (room 731) and it was amazing! It is within walking distance to just about everything and the beach that it sits on is perfect for kiddos. The breakfast consisted of pancakes, waffles, apples, bananas, an assortment of pastries, cold cereal, hard-boiled eggs, and instant oatmeal. There is a Starbucks machine that brews coffee and hot cocoa all day. The staff is very friendly and housekeeping comes daily.

Being our first family vacation since having our little one we wanted to find a place that would be memorable. Capri Laguna was more than we could of hoped for. Our room overlooked the beach and ocean and had amazing sunsets. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We even swam in the pool once. The main attraction being the ocean literally just down a flight of stairs. We will certainly be returning when we are in Laguna again.

Enjoyed our stay! Beautiful view with a short walk down to the beach. Starbucks coffee machine in the lobby, which made our time there that much more like home! Remodeled rooms! Patio was nice to just sit outside and enjoy the weather. We could hear the waves all day and night, so peaceful! The glass bathroom door, although cute not so functional for privacy!

Of all the trips the family and I took this summer — this one was our favorite, hands down. The ocean view room is killer! To open the slider and chill on the porch with a glass of wine while listening to the waves crash just below you is something special. The staff is top notch — always gracious and courteous — willing to go above and beyond in the name of guest satisfaction. The beach attendant is a real nice touch and went out of his way to be helpful. Can't wait to get back there!

I lived in LA about, 7 1/2 years ago. I lived on pch highway. Near Redondo Beach California. When I was living there I worked for John Cartier. He's a great person to be around. As a follower of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior Jesus. One day I will visit there again.

Delightful — rustic hotel right on Laguna Beach, clean and cute. We didn't upgrade to a beach front room, but it didn't matter. The ocean is right there on a private beach with towels and chair service. Employees were superb, starting with Luis at the front desk. Sittiing on the open upper deck right now — love it!

The Capri Laguna is a quaint Italian style hillside boutique hotel overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The views are wonderful and the rooms have style. We lucked out and got the room with the best view in the whole place. In one direction the window from our bed looked up the coast to the North and from our balcony we could see South and West. Our room had a kitchen with both a range and oven. We cooked our own meals and enjoyed dining on the balcony. We had a wonderful stay and I would certainly visit again. The staff is extremely friendly. If you consider staying here, give them a call and ask for Nick. He'll take care of you.

The views are amazing! The room is pretty spacious and the bed is extremely comfortable. I love how the beach is just a few steps away and they provide beach chairs and umbrellas as well as towels.

Room is right on the beach. You cant get much closer, unless you're sleeping on the sand. Rooms are very clean. Basic breakfast and coffee are provided. Great beach view from your room with a balcony. Usually not too many people out on the beach, so you might have it all to yourself.

Too expensive. Too old. Nothing un the room. No service at all.

Location is perfect right on the beach and everything is in walking distance. I paid for a full ocean view room, the guy tried to use some mind tricks and said "i've upgraded you from a partial view to ocean view room" and after all that about half our view was buildings and half was ocean and we shared our balcony with two other rooms. We got lucky to find the last parking spot at the hotel on a monday. Room was ok but dated only real complaint was the shower head was terrible and way too low. For as expensive as the room was, I would not stay again but I guess you pay a premium for walking out right onto the beach.

I have come to the Capri more than once now. And I fall in love all over again. I brought my young son this time. And now it's a family favorite. It's so quaint and is a small boutique hotel. But it's perfect for a true beach experience. The staff truly is amazing and goes above and beyond.

OVER PRICED MOTEL! We spent 1 night at the Capri and absolutely hated our room! When we walked into our room, it looked like we were staying in a storage room! I immediately walked out and went back to the reception asking to be placed in another room. I was told that the hotel was completely booked up and there was no possible way that we could switch rooms. I know this is an absolute lie because we arrived at check in and from previously working in a hotel I KNOW that people arrive later than the check in time. Right when you walk into the room, on the left hand side was the "electrical room"! The electrical room was actually inside of our room! NOT outside or right by, but literally you needed a key to go into our room to access the electrical room! Also there was a secret door that was inside of our closet, which we opened to find the hotel's WATER HEATER! I could not believe that not only did we have a electrical room but also a water heater in our room that we were paying $200.00 to sleep in. Also what was really nice was the window we had in the room looked at the parking lot, so we obviously had to keep the blinds closed during the day because anybody could see right into our room. You could also wash your hands wile sitting on the toilet because the bathroom was so small. THIS WAS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! As I previously noted before, I have worked in a hotel and know that this is not the way you treat your guests.

Quaint, clean and the ocean view and sound of the pacific ocean from my bed and balcony was nothing short of amazing. Tranquil and quiet but most important the staff made the experience the best. I highly recommend the Capri in Laguna Beach simply one of the best hotels in Laguna Beach.
