Service Excellent, was able to get in early to room. Clean spacious and super comfortable bed. Good complimentary breakfast. Definitely on list to revisit.

Carla didnt have knowledge of when rooms would be available and when questioned hung up on me a handful of times because I was trying to get in touch with a manager. I pay way too much money a year here to be treated like im going to motel6

I don’t ever leave bad reviews. If I don’t like the service at a business. I just don’t go back there and give them my money. But in this instance I feel I don’t have a choice.
I checked out of the hotel last Sunday. I paid the young lady at the counter. Mostly cash for the bill. And she swiped by CC for the difference. Glanced at the bill. Look good. Signed. And asked her to toss my receipt. Got into my Uber and headed to the airport back home.
On Monday. To my shock. My CC statement showed that I was charged the full amount. Instead of the difference I paid in cash. I immediately contacted the hotel and told them of the situation. The First Lady I spoke with. Said there was no cash taken from me. And I paid the whole amount on my CC. I said this was incorrect. And to review the security footage. I count the cash on the counter. The young lady then takes the cash and counts it on the counter. I talked to multiple different employees during the week. I told each of them. Check your security cameras. That will prove what I was saying to be true.
Finally on Wednesday a manager called. Saying they were reviewing the footage and needed to talk to the employee who cashed me out. And she would call me Thursday with a resolution to that matter.
Well it’s Saturday. No response or call back. So I had to file a police report and disputed the charge with my CC company.
This is very unfortunate. Because the hotel was very nice.

I left my expensive Ray-ban glasses in my room and they were returned by management a few weeks later. I was extremely grateful as we all know how expensive prescription glasses can be. THANk YOU! I appreciated the honesty of the staff as well as the LOCATION of this hotel is IDEAL. Literally within walking distance to all the best restaurants, boutiques, and beach. The bed was nice and comfy too and I had a great visit.

Nice place. Good breakfast. Good beach access and the beach was very beautiful and good for swimming. It would be nice if they had showers and bathrooms at the beach access points. Even the hotel didn't offer a outside shower to wash your feet after going to the beach. I would stay here again.

Great location! Close to the beach and amazing restaurants. The rooms are no frills but adequate. The amenities make up for it. A hot breakfast in the morning, beach chairs and towels, and sunset views from the rooftop.

Good hotel, undergoing lots of renovations. We got an internal 2 queen room on the third floor. The elevators are pretty old and I saw a hotel worker prying it open with his hands one time. Our room had a funky smell to it and although the bathrooms are nice, the internal ones definitely need updating (which is happening). If it wasn't for the smell and had we paid for the nicer rooms I think it would have been a different experience. It is much closer to the beach than other hotels and overall it was a good time.

I love this hotel. The staff is so nice, they have a great complimentary breakfast, the beds are huge, they have massive jacuzzi tubs in the rooms, and it’s only a few steps from the ocean. Thanks for working with me when I needed an early check in!

It was very nice and quiet here. Got a room for 2 with a queen sized bed. The room itself was a bit small but not too small to feel claustrophobic. The bed was nice and soft, clean. When we checked into the room the previous guest had just checked out and they sent housekeeping to have the room cleaned for us. The bathroom was reallyyyyy nice too! All stocked with clean towels and new soaps. The bathtub spa was very fun/comfortable too with jets. It was like a hot tub. The people at the front desk were nice too.

Great staff! Excellent area for exploring Laguna. Be sure not to book through Hotel Tonight as the rate is almost triple. Call the hotel directly. Dated property. Very basic room. Small and utilitarian, although clean and neat. Jacuzzi tub/shower may be best feature. Property needs lots of upgrading especially the pool area. Haven't figured out what the resort fee was for since the only amenities are the under-repair pool (small) and the offered chairs and towels for the beach which is across PCH, through a residential area (or the Surf and Sand) and down the hill. Probably a great place in it's day, but, for now you can find better close by.

Great hotel! Wonderful views from top deck sitting area. Recently renovated rooms are stylish, clean and spacious. Large variety of room types and amenities (spectacular views vs quiet interiors). Had a King Premium room with jacuzzi — top floor. Nice!. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Full breakfast buffet is very good here. Steps to the beach, near center of the action. Great value in Laguna!

Exterior is beautiful. Unfortunately, the interior doesn't match the outside. I'm not sure what the malfunction was either, but upon check in, they stuck us in an ADA room in the basement. The feel was sorta like a nicely furnished dungeon. Other than that, it was great! Also, there was a Jacuzzi in the room, so cool.

Great atmosphere even with remodeling going on. Friendly and helpful staff. Manager, Kevin, was very nice and available for us at all times during the day. We will be regulars here. Thanks to everyone there.

I stayed here in March for a quick spring break getaway and it really was the perfect little hotel for a nice weekend. The prices are well worth it because it includes breakfast, parking, free Wi-Fi, and its within walking distance to the beach as well as plenty of restaurants. Our hotel was small yet perfect for 2 people! It included a spacious jacuzzi tub and the noise level wasn't bad if you pick a room towards the back. What I enjoyed the most was the breakfast. It saved money as it was one less meal to not pay for & it was very hearty and not bland at all! I definitely would stay here again.

Amazing place! Very relaxing and near the beach. My negative is that there’s not enough parking, and the dirty laundry was visible to the guests in that parking garage.

One of my favorite hotels in Laguna Beach! Stayed here on several occasions and had a great experience every time. The Rooftop bar offers fabulous views of sunset and open to the public too.

Very poor price and very good value for money the toilet was not very good, the tub was dirty, the sound of the air from the next piece just let it sleep and lousy hotel maintenance, the floor broken everywhere, if you have a hotel you have to keep it, the only thing that can be rescued is that it includes breakfast that if not very varied.

Most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in! Everything in the room was clean and well maintained. We had a little private balcony and good weather. The parking garage 2nd floor was accessible within 10 feel of our door which made loading and unloading very convenient. We heard the street noise the first night (a Sunday night) and then it faded into the background. Nice TV for watching the Olympics, and good Wi-Fi signal for my laptop. Breakfast was good with lots of selections and good coffee. Great restaurant with entertainment just next door up the street, and a fabulous view of the water. We are already making plans to return for next Valentine's Day. The staff was courteous and helpful. We like this place a lot.

This place is awesome! The in room Jacuzzis are What caught my eye. They don't assign rooms, so I had to call ahead to make sure I got one. The parking is convenient, and they do have a decent pool and hot tub. Rooms are spacious and up to date as well.

Stayed here with my boyfriend for an early Valentines Day celebration. Beautiful room, clean, and we could see and hear the waves from the beach from our third story room. However around 12a-1a 2 rooms down a party was going on then it led to some girl yelling and cursing. Called front desk and they went upstairs to handle it. Didnt really care for thw night auditors response to the individuals being loud and obnoxious “i dont care if you party, you did pay for the room just keep it down because im getting complaints”. I paid for a room to and shouldnt have to listen to a party till after 1am. But im not rating the hotel based on that. Will visit again!

Everything is great. Nice people and pleasant cozy room with a jacuzzi bath for two. The price is great for the location. Definitely going to be back.

Well appointed rooms on a beautiful property. Excellent associates on staff and management. Exemplary housekeeping, wonderful people. Good breakfast. Some general maintenance issues and a few off trifles preclude a 5 star rating, but I'm not easy.

The hotel is clean but dated. They are in the process of updating the look but it will still be dated. It's located on the opposite side of Pacific Coast Hwy from the beach so it's very loud. Even in the rooms not directly facing Pacific Coast Hwy. Very few rooms have an ocean view. They advertise 99 steps to the beach but it's further. The included breakfast was not to bad. Hot and cold items. We got a $50 dinner gift card to a local restaurant so I was pretty happy with the experience. Probably would not do it again.

Really nice place for a good price, especially if you went through the Groupon. Good customer/front desk service. Next to good restaurants and cafes. Across the street from the beach. The only thing I had an issue with was that the room we were in was on the side of street and the traffic noises made it difficult for me to sleep because I am a light sleeper.

The hotel is ok for what it is. It's clean, staff is courteous. TV was on the fritz the whole time which isn't awful unless you like unwinding with it at night. For the first night only three channels worked, 2 were in English.

Great little hotel right across the street from the beach. We parked our car the whole time we were there because we could walk everywhere. The room was a nice size. I am told they have rooms with Jacuzzi tubs here. The halls are a little older, but the rooms seem to be updated.

STAY AWAY: Filthy room. Carpet was so dirty my feet would stick to it when barefoot. Water out of bathroom sink smelled like sewage — really (Front desk did acknowledge this dose happen in some rooms). Internet would not work 50% of the time. Breakfast was cheap powdered eggs, etc. Down comforters are not washed; God only knows what all the past guests have done on them. I made mention of all this to management. They told me ownership was aware that "money needed to be put into the property. " Also told me they'd call me to compensate me for the experience. A week later still no call from them.

Was nervous about the hotel after reading some of the reviews. But was greeted with respect, the staff was friendly. The room nice and quiet. The tub was great, bed firm and comfortable. Stayed on 3rd floor next to the pool. Nice restaurant nextdoor. Only complaint; the AC did not deliver the nesessary coolness. I will stay there again.

It was a typical tourist hotel. It's tired. If you want to do work here be sure you get an upstairs room as there's virtually no signal downstairs. It is quiet down there. I will give it that. It's close to the beach but it's also right on Pacific Coast Highway so there's a lot of road noise if you're in one of the top or front units. The beds are decent as are the amenities.

Location in Laguna is perfect. Very close access to the beach. Fair room rates. Cannot recommend the cheap breakfast.

We go to Laguna Beach every year. This year we decided to switch things up a bit and stay at a new hotel. That new hotel being "Laguna Brisas Hotel. " Let's just say my whole family and I were not impressed. We went to check in and the guy at the front desk was VERY rude. Extremely rude. Not just to us but other guests too. He made a huge fuss about the littlest things, he also kept hammering us about which room level we wanted but wouldn't show us the room options. The website advertises this hotel as a "beachfront hotel" with an "ocean-view terrance" which both of those statements are completely false. This hotel is across the busy street from the ocean-making it not beachfront and there is no ocean-view from anywhere. You practically have to stand on the roof to see event the tiniest of ocean blue. I would defiantly NOT recommend this hotel. We ended up leaving and finding another hotel.

I'm still here for another night and I already want to come back. The staff is beyond helpful and we love our cute little room. Beach across street and we have a view from our 1st floor room even. Very quaint and fun.

Everything was fine until check out time. I reserved the room on line and they were very nice while I checked in. We had a large party so we also took a room across the street. They don't charge for parking there so we parked across the street. When it came time to check out they still charged for parking that we didn't use! When we explained this to them they were very rude and said that we did use the parking. When we asked for receipt they would not give us one because we booked on line. The man was very rude and loud. We'll never stay there again. If they needed the money that bad they should have just added it on the original price!

Very beautiful hotel right on the water. Breakfast was very nice. I really thought everything was nice but I felt the price of everything was inflated. Especially since they nickel and dime you for things like parking and water. Great location.

It was lovely. Excellent and especially courtious staff. I was happy to have the ammenties. The room was everything I hoped it would be. If I ever go back to Laguna Beach I will be staying here.

Online reservation said no deposit required. My price breakdown including all taxes and fees said it was $180. I wasn't informed they place a $250 incidental hold at check in as well as charging $206. My account overdrew and I wasn't able to do things I had planned. I was expecting $180 out of my account not $450. Manager was out of town through the weekend and not coming back until Tuesday. We were displaced and our vacation spoiled and I got no resolution from the manager. Also the rooms are in need of refurbishment, badly! Staff was unpleasant and unhelpful.

Great place to have a weekend getaway. Across the street from the beach. The breakfast is great and the staff is amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

Very clean large hotel rooms, by which I mean there is several feet between the bed and the front wall, pool is not great but breakfast was awesome with waffles and a yogurt bar among other things, location is good but not amazing as the best place to swim in Laguna is not in walking distance.

The only really bad thing about this hotel was I didint have NO cell phone reception in this hotel, I was in room 101. First floor… I had to go outside to use my phone, and I got AT&T I guess this hotel has problems with cell phones not getting reception. Great service tho. I went to go see my buddy Bruce, I'll be back!

Worst customer service and staff I've ever encountered. Kevin the manager, a real ass hole. Roger, the manager, touched my girlfriends ass, and said sorry, and ran away, the room was very uncomfortable, worst management I've ever encountered. Stay away from this horrible hotel. I'm recommending surf and sand to everyone in laguba. See you best western. Stupid perverted assholes.

Our check in process was great, Justin was very helpful and informative. Our room is clean and the location can't be beat! Will definitely keep this in my list of places to frequent!

Lobby check in area is very limited, but manageable. Rooms are clean and we'll maintained, but in need of an update. Would return if property is upgraded, I'm willing to pay more for the location as well.

My father and I spoke with the manager Kevin a couple of times. He has HORRIBLE customer service skills. He does not pay attention to detail, and messed up our reservation a number of times. The attitude that was displayed was unacceptable. He needs a few hotel management and customer services classes in order to get up to par with other people at the establishment. The original room we were placed in smelled horribly and was incredibly loud. At 3:45am the sprinklers came on and were hitting the window and it was directly on the street. Request NOT to be put in room 102 and request to work with someone like Karen, NOT Kevin. The sad thing is we were here for my sister's wedding and had a large room block. They are very unaccommodating. The Wi-Fi is also the worst I've ever experienced.

The room was great. Spa was amazing. "Partial ocean view" means 20ft of ocean view between two hotels on the other side of the street. Not worth the extra $40 to see an alley.

The welcome was great by friendly front desk Dina but the rest of staff unfriendly at all. We are as the guest had to say greetings and thank you first to the staffs all the rest of our stays or sometimes no respond at all. Left the room at 10am and came back at 130pm and the room was not ready when we need to rest after spending time for all morning at the beach. Plan to change credit card to be charged and was told to tell the front desk staff at check out time, but was automatically charged to my other credit card already without notifying at first place. The guy at check out just busy with his paperwork without acknowledged me whom standing for few minutes in front of him. The staff at this hotel need to learn more about hospitality.

Staying here was great. Everything was in walking distance and a great view of the beach. The hot tub was Hot, Hot The staff was frindly and hooked me up with a free upgrade to a balcony view. Will stay here again.

A true Dump! When the wedding party booked the Best Western in Laguna Beach I knew it would be bad — what can you expect from Worst Western, but it did not even meet my very low expectations. The experience starts with entering the confusing parking structure without any directions on how to find the lobby. After wandering around the parking structure, then around the building, finally finding the lobby. Inside was an uncaring receptionist that seemed bothered I was interrupting his TV show. There were no directions to the room, no descriptions of the amenities, no nothing. Here is your key — go away. Next wandering down the very hot, stuffy hallway, one of the rooms is being renovated. The doors are wide open, workmen talking loudly, the radio blaring and the smell of paint, carpet and some type of glue wafting down the hall. Then the worst part entering the room. I have seen nicer rooms at Motel 6. Ok — here goes: • Very small room – 12’ x 10’ — If I sit at the desk, my wife can’t squeeze between the bed and chair – I have a closet in my home almost that big • Windows are so scratched and faded you can’t see out.

We came for our 5 year anniversary. We stayed just one night, but had a great stay. The room had a huge hot tub, awesome! Quick check-in. Great breakfast on the roof top overlooking PCH and the ocean.

Staff very unfriendly. Not accommodating. We booked reservations 2 months in advance. They did not honor our room request nor would the general manager listen. The only positive thing is the proximity to the beach.
