Lobby was great. Staff was helpful and courteous. Rooms were clean, but could have been in better repair.

The place was inexpensive. It's old and run down. Our door didn't close right (had to pull it really hard to close it completely). Furniture was old and looked worn. There has been so many changes that there are lots of flaws everywhere on the walls and thru out the fixtures like tub, sink, toilet etc. Staff was nice.

The furniture was a little shabby, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk lady was very nice and helpful. I would stay there again.

I stayed when it was turn of season and the prices went up and it was still a decent price. Tgere was a hot tub and the rooms were clean and accommodating. There was a double bed fridge microwave and more than enough toiletry and towels. I find not enough towels a major annoyance especially if the motel has hot tubs or pools There is a breakfast served as well and the environment was friendly and kept cleaned continuously.

Very nice room, nice climate, pisince and Internet for the people who need it, all this makes this Motel a very good!

There only so much the employees can do with outdated equipment and facilities, the rooms and hallways look worn and outdated, that being said I'm not sure if the rooms are dirty or rather they look dirty because they're worn. The staff is great, polite, congenial, customer service is great! The pool area is nice and clean. With a calm atmosphere. They serve a decent breakfast here.

Not that nice. We were in the back part of hotel in a pet friendly room. Pretty shabby. Had reservations for next Friday, cancelled and booked at La Fuente that has always been great. Cost a little more but better than this place.

Always clean, the staff is friendly. They are slowly updating which is nice. Not fancy but homey and comfortable. They do need to add more electrical outlets than they currently have.

Was first placed in a room with one queen bed, when I reserved a room with 2 queen beds. I called down to front desk, lady tried to argue that the reservation came through as one queen bed, when clearly on my conformation said 2 queen beds. Was switched to a 2 queen bed room which was nice, clean and the beds were very comfy. I would stay here again.

Decent place to rest your head for the price. The reason we decided to stay here was the fact that the fee for having a pet was very low. The room was in need of a bit of repair here and there but not too bad over all. The carpet did seem a bit sticky. I'm sure the pet friendly rooms aren't kept up as much as the others. The linens seemed to be clean. We typically don't request new towels every day, so we hang them up like the sign says to do, but it was changed out anyway. No bugs that I can see, so it's not too bad. Average inn room.

Lady at check in not helpful on getting more pillows. Breakfast and breakfast lady awsome. Bed comfy and pool and fitness center nice. Customer service needs to be better.

Im rating it a 1 because it wont let me do none. Rooms seemed nice and clean. Once we got in our room and unpacked my son found a pill and put it in his mouth which gave us a heart attack, he is fine and no reaction thank God. Front desk only said sorry and that was it. The sheets have spots of stains on them and the room is more run down then we thought. I wouldn't ever stay in these again.

Nice hotel. Room was big and clean. Had a comfy little sofa and a short table. Swimming pool seemed to be really nice and fancy but a little bit too crowded. Good speed Wi-Fi. Nice facilities: laundry, TV and piano in the lobby. Super nice and friendly staff. Really attentive and willing to help. Breakfast was really good: waffles, toasts, fruit, pastries, mini muffins, yogurt and cereals. Hot water for tea (lots of tea options: green tea, rooibos, black tea…), coffee, orange juice. Only bad thing, neighbors were too loud but front desk took care of it.

The room 263 was very dirty in the bathroom around the sink and toilet. The rug needed much shampooing TV did not work at first. Some one came to clean it. Customer service needs to be fine tune.

Room was super clean and nicely set up! Only complaint is the walls are super thin. I could hear people sitting outside talking. Didn't like that. Otherwise great!

The hotel was fine, there are some things they could do better. There are some cleaning issues, for example. Nothing to bad. I would stay there again.

Work put me here because it was the cheapest in the area. They call every night — late after I've been working all day to ask if I want my room cleaned — well yeah! Duh! Please don't wait until it's bed time to wake me up for this! They act like it's a big deal to "clean" my room, I've had the same sheets with two big brown stains since I got her 2 weeks ago, so please don't pretend your doing me a favor! Cool pool on site, def. Cleaner pool than my sheets and carpet hahaha.

Thieves. And dirty Shower was literally falling apart. The tile is separating from wall, very dangerous for all, dirty room with crumbs still on floor. If I could give less then 1 star I would. We paid our deposit with cash and when checked out the supposed "manager" checked our room and said the crumbs on the breakfast table were smoke ashes and refused to give us our deposit back. I'm not even a smoker! They were rude and only spoke Spanish. Horrible people skills. You should find better qualified managment.

The room was out dated. The Internet was slow. 1 bed was hard as a rock, I thought I was going to fall through the other. Had roaches. The breakfast was the best part.

After a stay of two days I can only highlight the friendliness of the staff because the hotel facilities are a disaster. Zero maintenance, the carpet dirty, the bathroom with the scent of moisture and a curtain disgusting of year one. It is a motel seedy forget the HJ pilar or san pedro. It really should change its name because it deceives. The breakfast "continental" are toast, bill, and two things more. The truth I do not recommend this hotel for anything. Not I would become.

Excellent service. Clean and well kept rooms. I loved the murals in each room. Me and my girlfriend really had a great time. I hope the two of us can stay there again one day.

My husband is disabled and they did their best to make our stay comfortable. The double bed room looked as if the had just remodeled it, with new tile and a painted feature wall. Service was excellent.

You get what you pay for as far as cleanliness and appearance goes. The staff on the other hand are super helpful and courteous.

The staff was great and at the price was good. And now the however, there was a very strong perfume odor and the shower handle had been broken for some time and came off while showering. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room and washer and dryer on site. The ground are well cared for. The continental breakfast was great and the coffee wasn't bad. The pool was pleasant and clean. Onsite workout room was well stocked.

Stay was for work, only a few days. The room was always damp, dusty. Room service staff were kind of rude and pounded on our doors repeatedly. Other staff was friendly.

Good place to lay your head. Friendly service. And the girl that checked us in was very accommodating. Thanks.

Great place to stay, accept dogs, nice breakfast. Housekeeping could improve a little on the bathroom tile floor needs scrubbing. Not as modern as higher price hotels but I liked it.

Cool spot is stay again confident in this place breakfast was good towels could be bigger.

I am from California, born and raised. Been visiting Yuma Arizona since back in 1984. Love the weather and the sights. When I go to Yuma, it's the Howard Johnson I stay at, because it's always good see a familiar face, they seem to keep the same workers, very polite, hard working, and are always looking out for the customers best interest. Thanks Howard Johnson staff, great job.

We had a great stay. Great price, nice room and nice breakfast. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We will stay there next trip.

Older property but very nice accommodations very good customer service. The door key system was down and they had to come and let me in each time I need to come and go and they were very accommodating and did not hesitate to help me whenever I needed in. They dealt with theirdoor key being down by providing excellent customer service.

Really good, not great place, but really good is good enough for me. Really helpful and friendly staff. Clean rooms, nice TV, nice bed. Great pool. You can walk to stores and restaurants.

First room they put us in was not even cleaned. So we go to the front desk and ask for another room that was actually cleaned and we get in the room and there is either feces or chocolate smeared on the bed spread and dirty counters from what looks like makeup and the room had the strongest smell of someone using a deodorizing spray to cover up the smell of the room. So I get a 3rd room which is better but not by much. Leery of the prior bedding being dirty we used our own blanket and pillows from the car. I get in the shower and there are hairs everywhere stuck to the shower wall and one of the longest black curly hairs I've ever seen stuck to one of the supposed clean shower towels. The housekeeping staff seriously needs to be fired. Only positives was that the overnight front desk lady was super nice and the waffle for breakfast was not to bad.

Good hotel but no elevator for second floor. Clean and friendly staff. Good location close to gas stations, food and hospital.

The most comfortable part was the bed. There were no other rooms in town everyone was booked so I was sent here by another hotel down the road. From the beginning the restroom was clogged. We called for service and a young looking girl came, no uniform and most def not a maintenance worker. She said she fixed it and again later in that night we used it and it was clogged still. The next morning right as we went to shower, one of the towels hanging there had a brown stain on it and there were not enough small hand towels. It was pretty gross. Needless to say, the couch that was in the king size bedroom was pretty stained. It needs to be replaced. I would say most definitely bring your own towels and make sure the restroom works properly because it sucked that we couldn't really use the restroom after paying 84 dollars!

This place is a joke rooms are outdated the beds are uncomfortable and the Wi-Fi is very slow and cuts out all the time staff is friendly but not worth the it to stay here.

The hotel was fine. It was nothing spectacular, but the bed was comfortable. The only complaint was that there were cigarette burns on the shower curtain. The even and odd numbered rooms are on opposite sides of the building which was odd. The lobby is very nice and staff was polite and courteous.

Stayed here many times on my trips to Yuma. Stayed 3-4 nights at a time. The staff is very friendly and helps out with directions and ideas of places to go. The Wi-Fi is not super great but it was enough to check emails and basic internet for the night. The rooms were always well cleaned and I never had any issues with the appliances. The mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot were a very nice touch and make this an amazing place to stay for multiple nights at a time. Its very close to the main strip and there is not a lack of things to do. There are many restaurants in walking distance and even more withing 5 minute driving distance. I would recommend you check it out and leave a good review if you do. This place is one of the last old hotels left in Yuma that have kept to their standards without having to charge $100 a night.

The place was dirty the showers had hair and now and holes in the shower looks like they had been worse than yours the beds were so uncomfortable it was like 100 yr old bed the spring for in your back they had huge cock roaches I want it to rent to connecting rooms for a week in the offseason and has their fight like hell just to get it down to about 650 for the week their internet wasn't working I was told it would be up the next day it was enough the entire week I was there their breakfast is a joke its nothing but still pastry and crappy waffles receptacles for half working and have not working you couldn't even f****** coffee pot and half the time and have it work they put hey small coffee maker in the room but there was no coffee for it and the coffee maker didn't work we have something still on the carpet we tried to clean it up as we did not want to leave in a mess only to find that the paper towel that we used came up Cole black that look like the carpets hadn't been cleaned since replace was built overall it was pretty pathetic and I don't think I would recommend it to anyone and the one that I'm talking about is at 32nd and South 4th Avenue.

The bed was well past its prime, it felt almost like a hammock. Electrical outlets with loose or missing screws and/or covers. If the place was under renovation, we'd expect a warning AND a discount. If this is their normal operating condition, then management needs support.

Yuma river tubing is completely unorganized incorporating the nastyest most unfriendly men iv ever come across they completely ruined our entire family morning trip by being nasty and rude.
