The room was easy access off freeway yet quiet. A little thumping up stairs now and then, normal. Fair market price rooms. Sleep clean up and go. Very neat and clean room. The maid did an excellent job, she had pride in here work.

On our way home to Phoenix and after stopping in Yuma for gas and food, our minivan broke down just as we were almost to exit toward the freeway. We ended up coasting our way to this Motel 6. It was extremely hot out so to escape the dangers of the heat and wait for a tow truck, we entered the lobby and were immediately welcomed. The four of us had to wait in the lobby for an hour! While there, two managers (Fabiola was one and I don't remember the name of the other) were extremely kind and empathetic to our situation. It was a possibility that we might not be able to get our car fixed before the end of the day. It was a Saturday afternoon which meant we would have to stay until Monday if that was the result. These managers were so kind to offer a room for free if we needed to stay! It was a blessing to have such kindness given to us at that point. We ended up getting the car fixed in time and able to get home that night but wanted everyone to know how kindly we were treated. Thank you!

One night stay, check in 7/5/18. Everything was great! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was incredible clean, fresh, comfortable. It was about 114 ° outside when we checked in (seriously! ) and the A/C in the room blew nice and cold. Pet friendly.

Awesome place. Front desk was accommodating when I needed a blow dryer. Rooms where spacious and very clean. AC worked great! It was 110 the 2 days we where there. Coming back next month for a few days. I'll be staying here.! Thanks for leaving the light on!

Nice clean rooms. Very helpful staff. Manager went out of her way to offer assistance when my son left the keys in the trunk. Call a tow truck and got the price down.

I've stayed at the Motel 6 in Yuma several times and have had good experiences! They allow pets, so in my opinion that's very accommodating because I do have a pet. The staff is friendly and the grounds are even equipped with a pool! The rooms are always clean! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the pillow was way too hard and the towels felt like sand paper, but you could always bring your own! I dont mind being a repeat visitor because for the money I pay I get great service and clean rooms. If you want a Hilton experience at a Motel 6 price then mosey on down the road, otherwise you should stop in and stay at least once. You won't be sorry you did!

Nice clean room and handicap accessibility was awesome. Great location just off freeway but not too noisy and a 24 hour Denny's and Circle K in same parking lot. No need to drive again! Only complaint is t. V. Volume. You can only hear local channels. Cable stations on full volume barely audible.

The front desk clerk was quit frustrating to work with. I stayed with your motel Wed night and then drove my husband to Mexico on Thursday for a cancer treatment. After the treatment, I crossed the border and mind you, I was running off of about 3 hours of sleep, so I made a reservation to stay last night but I didn't realize that the system actually picked a set date and it wasn't last night. So when I arrived, the clerk did not find my reservation to be last night but a different date, so I canceled that night and ask you stay last night. After searching for a downstairs room, she said all she had was smoking handicap and I said I can't have smoking and I have tried a smoking room before and the smoke from the other rooms came into my room, so I won't do that anymore. So I asked her what motel would she suggest and she said I could go on line but that it's a busy night so there probably won't be any rooms. Then she decided to go a step further and ohhh, she suddenly said that she could move a reservation to the second floor and give me a downstairs room. I had to show her a picture of my husband without her asking so she could see that he could not walk up stairs. But before me saying I would go somewhere else, she made no effort to help me and she argued with me until I walked out of the office and then she got back on her cellphone and the reason I know this is because she was on it when I walked in and she was on it when I had to come back in to ask for my receipt.

I stay at this Motel 6 about every 3 months and Yuma Arizona. The staff is always friendly and they remember me. The room is always immaculate. And the grounds are always well kept. Great location right next to everything. And walk across the parking lot to Denny's. 10 minutes from the Colorado River. 10 minutes to Algodones Mexico. It's always a great little getaway from California. I'll be back soon! I also always request the same room and they always obliged.

It was a decent hotel. Checkin was simple and easy, the woman working was extremely nice. The room was clean and the bed was better than some of the more expensive hotels I've stayed. Once suggestion — replace the bedspread. It was clean but had a burn hole and showed it's age in other ways.

The staff was all great and the location for what we wanted was perfect. We were going to the dentist in Mexico and this was very convenient as well as close to any and all shopping that we could want. The room was clean but very small and simple. I wish there had been a small fridge for storing leftovers and cold drinks. I also would have liked to see more than 6 rooms in the entire place with 2 beds.

Very disappointed. Booked a no smoking room with 2 queen beds only to find out the only rooms with 2 beds available was a smoking room. I'm highly allergic to tobacco so that was not going to work. Seems they can't guarantee a non smoking room even though I booked months ahead. Finally had to cancel my reservation and pay extra for a room with 1 queen bed. Room was exceptionally clean. Kudos to the cleaning team. The electric receptacles on the counter for charging our devices was a nice touch. Over all the room was clean and up to date. Too bad I can't be sure of a non smoking room. That is really going to stop me from staying there next time.

The rooms are very nice since you have remodeled. My wife had a problem however, she could not sleep and in the morning she was feeling ill. She thinks the was something in the room that made her sick. I however had no problem. There are a couple of things you should be aware of, the inside latch on the door, the screws are loose make it hard to latch and unlatch. Second there are some nail sticking out on the bathroom door that some one could get injured on. This is room 201. Thank you.

If you are looking for an inexpensive short stay this is the place for you. Spotless clean room All utilities worked flawlessly Comfortable bed A. C. And heater were quiet TV had better picture quality than all high end hotels I have stayed at in the. Past. Highly recommend.

If there had been a bottle of shampoo I might have used the shower. A mini frig would also have been nice. But they were missing hence the low rating. The cable TV was nice. The bed was also very nice although the pillows were too soft.

I had reserved the room for myself and my two daughters online. When we arrived we were told that we were going to be in a smoking room. There were no other rooms available in the hotel. The next morning I approached the woman at the front desk and said that it would be nice in the future if a customer is booking a room and they're traveling with children that they should be put in a non-smoking room. She told me that only two rooms on the entire property had two beds so an easy solution would be for you as a company to mandate being a nonsmoking facility. We were disgusted by the smell the second we walked in the room. We opened the window and then left immediately for some dinner to try to let the room air out. To no avail though we left there smelling like smoke the next morning. I will never stay at a Motel 6 again.

Very good service very good.

We stayed there 1 night. Everything was as we expected. Great service, clean sheets and towels, nice shower. There isn't anything furnished. No shampoo, no coffee pot etc. There was 2 bars of bath soap. 1 in the shower and 1 by the bathroom sink. If you stay there, be sure to take your own shampoo and hair dryer!

I hesitate to stay anywhere outside of the best brand name hotels, but we tried this one. Excellent staff, very good room cleanliness, small room but big enough, 5 star on pricing. Overall I give our stay here a 3.75 to 4 star rating. Best value in town.

This has been the best Motel 6 I have stayed at. They listened when I made reservations on line regarding my request for downstairs close to grass. We have 2 dogs and they accommodate our dogs. The front office was friendly and it was conveniently located to get coffee, eat or shop.

The staff at Motel 6, Yuma AZ are a well oiled working machine! They ate am example on what teams who work together can accomplish. Not only in cleanliness of the rooms but overall customer service! I'll be back! I recommend a room by the pool. Makes you feel like you have the best room on property. Thank you for leaving the light on!

Rooms were very nice and clean very comfortable like bathroom arrangement. Enjoyed our stay only problem is I left a pair of tennis shoes in the room and when called back to have them send shoes they wont send unless we send ups number to pay for shipping felt this was not very good customer service.

This, of course, is a budget motel. I often stay in inexpensive motels when traveling with my dogs to shows. I thought I had reserved a double queen room,, turns out I reserved a one queen bed room, and the motel was full because of the dog show. So my friend and I had to share a bed. If they were not full, the desk person said she would have given us a double room. The floors are laminate, which is good with a dog. There was room for two big dog crates. The sink area looked new, but the toilet/tub room was a bit older. Everything was clean! The bed was on the firm side, but comfortable for me. Air conditioning/heating worked well. Dog walk area had both grass and gravel, bags and receptables were stocked there, too. Convenient location very near Denny's for breakfast. Good parking. Personnel and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again! This was one of the best motel 6's I have stayed in.

Very clean and appeared to be recently renovated. The beds were excellent as was the flat screen TV. The only think I would have appreciated that we did not have was a coffee pot in the room or even coffee in the lobby. Also There was no shampoo only bar soap. Otherwise great for the price.

Motels, for me, are merely places to rest my weary bones at the end of the day. Amenities mean nothing to me. Motel 6 fills this bill by providing a clean comfortable room for a reasonable price. The Yuma East location was one of the best I have ever stayed in. It must have been recently renovated because every feature of the room was like brand new.

Motel 6-East is my home away from home when I come to Yuma to have dental work done across the border. The rooms are clean, comfortable and convenient. The staff is always friendly and helpful plus they welcome small dogs. The price is very affordable.

Newly renovated rooms are very clean. Pool area well maintained and relaxing. Has your morning coffee but has plenty of place close by to. Allows dogs has a pet walk area. Price is fantastic.

Wow, for the price they were excellent. I can't say enough to great things about the motel. I am a huge fan of Motel6 but this was went above and beyond for the price. The people who worked at the front desk were just really nice, polite and friendly. The room smelled excellent and fresh when I walked-in. The bathroom was spotless. They must have remodeled recently because the bed was very comfortable with fluffy pillows and clean sheets. The air conditioner worked very well and the air coming out was fresh like they had changed the vents. The grounds had lots of flowers and foilage. Nice pool area that they maintain very well with nice seating areas. I was hoping for the best as it was a late check-in and I was certainly impressed. The area is right next to a huge shopping center. Grocery stores, big-box retailers, restaurants and coffee places are a short distance away. I am a huge fan of Motel6 in general, but in all my stays over the years at different Motel6. This is certainly one of the nicest Motel6 I have stayed at.

Fan did not work in the bathroom. Was not told where the ice machine and vending machines were. Room had only one bed and a two bed room was not available. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Did not have all the amenities of a standard motel, such as a mini-refrigerator or coffee. But overall acceptable.

The rooms were clean and recently remodeled. The water was neither hot nor cold. It was lukewarm in the morning. There was no iron and ironing board in the room. The location is extremely convenient to everything.

Very clean rooms. Excellent custmer service. Didn't care for the grounds; Clean but certain areas smelled of strong dog urine. This is a dog friendly motel. I too gad my setvi e animal with me. I really liked the room. All rooms are renovated. Air Conditioners work super GOOD.

Of course Motel 6 isn't a 5-star hotel, but it's always nice when one gets what one pays for, and that's what this Motel 6 delivers. The room was clean, the AC worked (critical in Yuma) and wasn't too loud, bed was comfortable. There's a Denny's in the same parking lot and lots of other dining options nearby. Just of the North side of I-8. Very convenient on/off. If you're a Sam's Club member there's a Sam's Club less than a mile away for gassing up!

Horrible. They make you pay $2-$5 for Wi-Fi that's not so great. Tiny pool, not even clean. It is not $50. It's $60. Plus your Wi-Fi PER DEVICE. $66 or more. Television is so tiny, only about 30 channels or less.

Is one of them more cheap and clean.

We stayed here during a trip and felt well. The only minus, you must pay extra for the Wi-Fi. It costs 2, 99 USD for 24 hours and is a so minimum amount, which is hardly in the weight…

The housekeepers are rude I smile and they dont smile back ill say hi they will ignore me like im a bad person they make me feel uncomfertable I loke the rooms there or I would go somewhere eles.

Overall satisfactory. Good front desk help and clean room. Just 2 complaints; both of which are not specific to this particular location but to all Motel 6s we've stayed at in the past year or 2. 1) paying for Wi-Fi is irksome. The $3. Version is crap and $5. Is a deceptive way for them to charge more without showing it in the price. We all know that their cost is very small; it does not sit well with me. If they charged extra for towels (we would bring our own), they could at least justify their costs. 2) A modestly endowed man can't sit on the toilet without getting his junk wet. Motel 6 could put rubber spacers in. TV is very bad, particularly the sound. TV is terrible and hot water is problematic.

I usually stay here with no issues but this last time was miserable. Clogged tub drain and discovering first thing in the a. M. There was not hot water after a 25 minute water run on the tub.

I like Motel 6 in general. Simple, basic, affordable and CLEAN. Clean is huge with me. It would be nice if the pool was heated, because I like to swim and most of the year it's too cold to swim in an unheated pool. I could pay fifty to seventy bucks more in this area and all I'd get out of it is a thicker towel and a waffle. But still no heated pool, because nobody heats pools in the SW. One way Motel 6 stays affordable is by using longer maintenance intervals than most. I can live with that mostly because it doesn't affect my comfort, but the mattress needs replacing.

Its clean and simple. I got it for 60 bucks for two people and one bed. The mattress was a bit hard but other than that. No complaints. If you want internet you have to pay extra and no breakfast option.

You have to pay internet WiFI, $4.99 per day, It's should be free for custmber for staying. 2.99 — 4.99 between per month total around over 10 thousand per month as they are rip off, also their room is too much Cleaning odor. Getting headache. And also i'm not happy of check out refuse to give you Reicept. They will force you get on line. NO! ~ I NEVER come back Motel 6 again EVER! thank again I encourage people to not come in and check in they are bad. If you come in you will be sorry yoruself.

They are working to up-grade all the rooms. The parking lot is filthy, be very careful walking your dog. The inside rooms are quiet; rooms are small, but a good value. The televisions are the oldest working TVs I've seen in a long while.

I stayed here October 19th and I don't understand all of the complaining about this location, I always try to stay at a motel 6 because I travel for work and have my small pomeranian with me (no hassle because of the dog) and I MUST say that this was the nicest motel 6 I have ever stayed in and the staff? very friendly … the nicest, friendlyest desk person (initials MV I think) … I couldn't be happier.

Speedy check-in, great person at desk. If you are tired and want to get off the road in a hurry with no hassles, this is your place. Don't expect fancy with flat screen TV, you are here to get a good nights rest in a clean, safe environment, and this place delivered. The a/c was already on and the room cooled down. For under 40 dollars, nice. Let's not forget America's restaurant, Denny's, right next door. Thank you Motel 6. Five stars for tops in class. Sam B.

A great motel for the price. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Currently remodeling rooms that will be even nicer. Denny's, Circle K, shopping mall all within walking distance. I stayed for 4 nights and would stay again next time in Yuma.

Stayed here 2 nights with my dog. Not sure why the complaints from those who expect to get full amenities at a budget price? I found everything satisfactory from the front desk to the room itself with cable TV, A/C, internet connection. Location is convenient to many stores and easy access to I-8. Apparently many travelers like this place as it was almost full when I arrived. I suggest those who need amenities such as hair dryer, toiletries, etc. Increase your budget and stay somewhere more expensive that offers those things.

Pretty decent motel with a convenient location close to some restruants.

Although it is an average room, the 5 star comes from the staff. Stayed one week here and was met and greeted with a smile proffesionalism, and an overall attitude of they were glad to have you stay there. The entire staff went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, and we're able to deal with any minor problems that arose. Will recommend this motel to everyone. Great job folks.

Many issues Bath towels are hand towel size Low water pressure in some rooms No shampoo bottles stocked in bathroom TV remote didn't function in one room, TV turned off randomly in another $4.99 for 24 hours hi speed Wi-Fi Internet which claims able to stream Netflix, has spotty coverage and slowed down at times barely able to stream 480p resolution YouTube videos.

Other than a value at $52/ night, this Motel needs some serious remodeling. Missing many ammentities. NO hair dryer, microwave, frig, coffee maker, shampoo, tissues, iron?, ironing board?. The floor was chipping up around the tub enclosure and toilet in a 1-2 foot area. Was a clean room needing much updating. Safe location, and a helpful staff, and plenty of parking. Would I stay here again, probably not.

Liked it primarily because we stayed one night, it was clean, staff very friendly, and definitely a good value. You can eat a good breakfast at Denny's (short walk) and still save significant dollars.

My wife and her friend come up from Mexico to shop and complete some business. They split the cost of the room for one night. Had a great time and will be back next month for a longer stay.

40$ not bad, close to the mall, restaurants.

I needed a place to stay on short notice that accepts dogs. We stayed for a week due to a death in the family. The rate was very acceptable. (38.00 a night) Denny's next door made it easy to get a bite to eat and they accepted AARP for a 15% discount.

It was late, I was tired and simply pulled it for the night. Got a room quickly, got some sleep. The thing I really liked was that there was a Denny's right next door, that this motel was right off the freeway and then of course they acknowledge the AARP discount without question. Cool.

Outstanding value for the dollar. Denny's restaurant is next door. Pets, of course, are allowed. I generally have a positive experience with Motel 6, but why is it that they won't provide hair shampoo? How about adding another 50 cents to the room rate so folks don't have to wash their hair with hand soap. Does the CEO of Accor Hotels stay in rooms without shampoo? This is my only complaint about Motel 6 in general.
