Really nice place! Friendly employees and rooms were clean. I loved you could just text them if you were running low on an item. They were delivered ASAP.

Don’t let the photos on the website to see Vu as they did me. This hotel is worth one or two stars and it’s very best. The rooms are worn and dated, housekeeping is severely lacking, basic maintenance is missing, and room service is a complete joke. They also don’t use fitted sheets and are using queen sized flat sheet on a king sized bed. It doesn’t take a genius to know that doesn’t work. The condition of the room was so bad that ultimately I decided to end my stay early and take a redeye flight home. The uncomfortable airplane seat during an overnight flight was much more appealing than another night at this resort. Lastly, a note on what they call “room service”, I ordered the steak and was delivered in a shopping bag that wasn’t big enough to hold the take out container and with the cheapest plastic fork and knife I’ve ever seen. Needless to say I was unable to eat the steak since I couldn’t cut it. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs.

I really like the gym, along with the restaurant near the lobby best salad of my life (arugula salad) Nice staff throughout. Would love to come back and spend some more time at this lovely resort. Great fellow guests made friends fast.

This “resort” is gross! You pay for resort amenities and they don’t even offer room cleaning, the public spaces all have garbage all over the tables, the trash cans are all over filled. It’s yuck!

Great family friendly resort, the Oasis water park was so much fun. Pros the rooms were spacious and clean, staff are so friendly and helpful. It’s close to a mall about two blocks away which helps with options to get food without breaking the bank and provides other fun activities for the kids like a Lego store and Aquarium. The cons is food is a bit too expensive and the sofa bed is so uncomfortable to sleep in. But overall we enjoyed our stay and had a great time.

My husband is currently at this resort and been there for over 10 days and they don’t clean the rooms! They Dont even come and take rubbish away. He just FaceTimed me and he is living in squalor! They only offer paper plates and cups in the rooms and wont replace these so he is reusing a paper cup for his coffee! Its disgusting and unacceptable as his work is paying $600AUD PER NIGHT.

If you're going for a family vacation, this would be a good choice for accommodations. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you're looking for more of a luxury property, this isn't it. The rooms are a bit dated. The major concern for everyone in our party was the configuration of the bathroom looking to the outside. This requires you to keep your curtains drawn at all times and leaves much to be desired. Nice grounds and views, though!

We water park is very fun, rooms are nice and spacious, parking was a struggle, overall we had a nice weekend with perfect weather.

The waterpark of course. We were only there for the weekend and ended up getting one more day because I enjoyed myself that much. I definitely recommend it fun for the entire family even just for a change of sencery. It is like being out of town. So beautiful and green. Best experience of my life.

Went to the spa for a facial and had a great experience! The staff were so friendly and the spa & locker room were clean. The staff member who did my facial was very knowledgable and provided a great treatment!

Now on our list as a favorite! Staff was great and fairways and greens awesome! Sand was hard but this time of year I’m not sure if this is normal. Will be back again for sure!

Great amenities. World class services especially with the very assisting staff. Whatever your needs and wants may be, they go above and beyond to accommodate you.

The venue is beautiful! Valet well organized! Beautiful table settings; well ventilated! But, do wish they’d use toilet paper that you can get OFF the rolls! Makes an awkward circumstance to ask the ‘neighbor’ to share because the roll in your stall is too difficult to move!

Beautifilul place. Green trees and bushes. Wave pools kinda small when you have 10, 000 people at the Oasis waterpark. Slide line is a long wait also. Overall a nice place. Staff is friendly. Adult beverages are good. Wish we could stay all week, but would have to take out a small loan!

King suite villa is very nice and spacious. Beautiful waterfall right next to my balcony. Water park is amazing. Hotel restaurant in the lobby food is good; however, waitress was not good or attentive had to show her the menu on what came with the meal… several items missing. Slow. Gorgeous Suites, large water park, beautiful property. Easy to get to the Resort, Staff are great, and we are close to a lot of Firework shows, and restaurants. Only downfall is getting parking.

Stay away from Rustlers Roost (horrible service) but everything else was fabulous!

Wonderful time with the kids. Room is plenty spacious, clean and well appointed. The beds are comfy. The Oasis waterpark is fantastic, we happened to go on an "off" weekend because it was the weekend after Labor Day, so there was no wait for the slides, the pools and lazy river was hardly filled. The staff was very attentive and answered questions promptly and with courtesy. Didn't eat there, the food prices at The Oasis told us that we could get more value off-site.

Very nice for a family getaway. I have been here a few times and I just recently visited for the first time in over 10 years. We brought my niece and nephew and they had a blast. Only downside is that every thing is so pricey, but I can understand it from a marketing standpoint. Alcohol and food is expensive, but there are so many perks to staying here. Comfy bed and rooms with balconies, they have drivers on carts/shuttles to take you to and from places, very close to restaurants and family oriented. Very nice staff and easy parking. Would recommend it if you have the money!

Pros: The room was big and spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. We had a blast at the oasis water park. My kids also liked the DJ there doing games and music. My daughter wasn't feeling well and the server at the lobby grill was amazing and gave her ginger ale to sip on. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. Cons: I got the nice surprise of a GIANT sewer roach in the sink in the morning. They seriously must have a problem because we were on the second floor. It isn’t the nicest resort we have stayed at, definitely needs a lot of updating. Pricey for the shape the resort is in. The food at the oasis pool side grill was terrible and incredibly inflated ($11 for a crappy hotdog, $8 for a small French fry Etc). We ordered fish tacos, fries, burger, and turkey burger and all were not very good.

Older, but has been remodeled. They keep this place spic and span. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Gym is amazing. Oasis with the lazy river is nice, but if too crowded there are others pools and spas to hang out in. Towels and water available at the pools! Fantastic place and very relaxing. The beds are really comfy too!

I mean, bath robes so soft they put the kids to sleep immediately without even fussing over what show they are watching. I call that a win.

It could have been better. We had to wait an additional 3 hours after check in because our room was not ready. So we did not get to go to the water park the first day because by the time we got our room and dressed it was close to closing time. When we got to our room there was a message waiting to tell us there was no late check out. It was disappointing because the cost of the room is already high but then they tack on a $56 resort fee. I have been to this hotel before and have had a much better experience.

We booked a staycation for us and our 4 kids. The check in process was nice and fast we got the upgraded room after seeing how far our room was from the water park area. We normally stay and the Pointe and I am basing my review on my past experiences with the them and other resorts. I have never had to pay an upgraded room fee to select a room closer to the water park area it is just a way for you to get more money for the same size and style room. The prices in the water park are absolutely ridiculous and the selection is not great either definitely not affordable for families. Everything in the resort in general seems over priced for what you get if you stay here just do uber eats and save yourself a ton of money. The whole vibe in general atvthe Resort was not about providing a great experience for their guest but seemed more how can we get more money from our guests.

Fun family environment. Water park is great for the kids. Only gave 3 stars for a few reasons. 1. Not enough parking and no one available to help you with your stuff. 2. I rented a villa with a full kitchen. There were zero cooking untencils or other cooking items like mixing bowls and there was no mention of this. When I checked in they offered to let me rent pans for $50. Uh, no thanks. 3. Water park was great but we got down there first thing in the morning and the tables and chairs were dirty. Bar charges $15 for a drink which I normally have no problem with until I’m told I can’t bring it in to the lazy river. I had to stand outside and drink it even though it was 105 outside. 4. Ordered food at restaurant to bring back to room. Waited 30 minutes for our order. Got back to room and there were multiple items missing. Outside of all this. Kids loved it.

In my opinion it is an okay place. Our room was nice and the pool was nice but for the price I expected a LOT more considering the daily "resort fee". Also the food and drinks at the pool were ridiculously priced and they will not allow snacks even for those of us with young kids. I had to leave the park several times to give snacks to my kids instead of paying the overpriced food rates at the pool. If the food/drinks were much cheaper or we are allowed to bring in snacks I would have gone back. But I don't see our family ever returning because it just isn't affordable for a family of 5.

Offered a $20 voucher to use for food or drink instead of receiving room service, when we tried to redeem at the pool we were told it had to be used inside. Tried to redeem inside and apparently “we were told incorrect information”! Never got to redeem voucher and never got housekeeping. When entering Oasis water park we were not told that there was a special line for our color wristband. Stood in line for quite a while, finally got to the front to be told we were in the WRONG line, but it was our “lucky” day and they’d let us go ahead! I also had to park my car a little outside my space because the person next to me parked funky, during my stay my car was keyed. I called to front desk and asked if there are cameras outside of our building, was told YES. I was transferred to security where I had to leave a message. It’s been 3 1/2 hours and I’ve still not received a call back from security. I’m sitting here in my room at almost 10 pm and can hear kids yelling and screaming in the pool down below. I would say that if you are looking for a nice relaxing place to stay, with appropriate parking and prompt service, this is not the place for you! *** been almost a week since we checked out and STILL NO CALL FROM SECURITY.

This is a great family friendly Resort. We had adjoining rooms and had plenty of space. We even ate some of our meals in the room. It was Memorial Day weekend but it wasn't overly busy. It was a little hard to find chairs at the waterpark in midday. But afternoon and evening and early morning we're all great! Never too overcrowded. There are also ample pools around the entire Resort so none of them were packed. Pretty cool and relaxed for what we were expecting to be busy. Our personal favorite was as a family riding down the tubing River. Because you get a few extra wristbands with your room depending on how many people are staying in your room, we were able to invite some friends to come over to the water park with us one day.

After an initial hiccup with the reservation, they corrected the error immediately and even upgraded us to a beautiful 2 room Villa! It was for my son's graduation gift and he was so excited when he saw the villa. It overlooked the water park and the mountains, it was absolutely beautiful and we couldn't have asked for a more pleasant and comfortable stay. We will definitely be back to the Arizona Grand Resort. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.

This is the most wonderful place I've ever stayed. There is so much to do here. I'm someone who reacts poorly to heat. I'm so thrilled that they have water coolers everywhere. You can call the office and get a golf cart to take you anywhere on the property. All of the staff are helpful and really nice. The pool and hot tub near our room were fabulous. Our room is really clean and the staff here do a fabulous job. I would love to come back.

We stayed here for a conference and the facilities were fantastic! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was clean and very comfortable, with a great view of the golf course. The fitness center has an exceptional amount of equipment to choose from. They really know how to take care of their guests. I definitely would not mind going there again!

Great staycation with kids at the oasis water park. We got very nice rooms right in front of the park. On $20 more than a regular room on the other side of the resort. Bedroom has a door separating from the living room, and we had a door that opened to the adjoining room where we had friends staying. Overall a great experience. We will be back!

Great resort! Rooms are big and clean. Plenty of pools to hang out around! Good restaurants on the property, including a steak restaurant and Mexican food. It also has a golf course on the property. A pretty narrow course, so keep that in mind should you think about scheduling a tee time.

A very unique & beautiful resort. The room was nice and comfortable, appearing to have been remodeled quite recently. The common areas could use some attention as far as groundskeeping and repairs. The water park was a lot of fun for our whole family. The only negatives would be the outrageous cost of food and beverages at the water park and the non-paying people that came in to use the pool after dark. There needs to be added security.

Since this place is AAA rated, I was expecting better service. The front desk person was not at all friendly at check in. The bell caps were nice though and drove us to our room. Bathtub backed up and later fixed. I booked a Cabana and they lost my signed receipt. At checkout the TV would not complete the final step requiring me to call the front desk. They said it does that sometimes happens. Hence 3 star rating for so-so service.

Amazing hotel with it's own water park. The water is heated so early spring fun is totally possible. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Service was excellent. My only complaint is the rude attitude of the teens at the water park entrance. I had a wrist band on and visable, yet they still treated me like a criminal trying to sneak in every single time I went in.

A very spacious, nice hotel with a colonial style thought and organized for the rest the weather is very good recommend the use of sunscreen. Large swimming pools with a standard designed to privilege at all times the safety and guarantee the comfortable stay of all. For industry and business, it has ample and comfortable meeting rooms and spaces for the deployment of demonstrations and halls for mass presentations.

I went to the Grand Resort and Spa for a friend's wedding. The venue was clean and we'll presented! The building we were in had great decoration and style to it. The staff took care of the guests with great attention to timeliness and friendliness. The event went well the whole time I was there! Great experience!

I could not be more disappointed in my stay at the Arizona Grand Resort. I am a cheer coach and we had our last competition of the season last weekend. I found this resort and had all 18 of my families book rooms here for the weekend. I called at least 4 times and spoke with representatives regarding my reservation because I knew that I was going to have 17 kids and 6 adults in my room at 5:00am Saturday morning and, because I am not at all new at this, I knew that I was going to need at least 1000 square feet for all of these people to fit comfortably in my room while I am doing all of their hair, makeup, and having them change and eat in my room. When I called the reservation department, I explained my situation and they told me that the best room for me was going to be the "grand suite. " It was 1200 square feet, and it was going to be $399/night with a separate bedroom (because my boyfriend was still going to be asleep at the time my kids were going to be in my room, and I wanted him to have the chance to sleep in). Once they told me about this room, I knew that it was going to be the best choice for me, my only request was that I would like to have a nice view, so they assured me that I would have a nice mountain side view. When I arrived at the hotel at appr 11:00pm Friday night (the time that I had disclosed to the hotel before hand) they had informed me that I had a free "upgrade.

An excellent place all around. The suite was spacious with a front room and a back bedroom. We could put the kids to bed and stay up after their bed time easily. The Oasis water park was a big hit. They have a long lazy river, big pools, water volley ball and basket ball, a big hit tub, and water slides. They even screened an outdoor kid movie at night. The prices for food and drinks were pretty outrageous, but there is a fridge so just bring your own.

I went here for a sports pool party for a competition. The service we got was amazing! The workers made sure everyone was safe and everything was clean. Highly recommend going there!

We checked in late no big deal right. The staff near the pool area were rude not very curious to us. My kids ended up not swimming because the check out time was so early. We were told after check out then can still swim but at that point I was about done and didn't want to come back. We have been here before. It was loads of fun but this time I wished I had picked a different hotel.

We had a great time on our trip. The hotel had alot to offer and it was in a convenient area next to Arizona Mills. The breakfast was awesome and the staff was helpful. The only reason it does not get a five star is the room seemed a little dated for a resort, but we did not stay I the room for long considering all the pools, water park, golf course, and all the beautiful views and statues. Would go back for another vacation and would recommend.

It was just answering. There was nothing incredibly stunning about the dacor the amenities or the service. Although there was nothing terrible about it either. Everything was just lackluster and very average. Accommodating. Reasonable. The only reason I got a room was because they had a vacancy. Average room average price. Decent.

The staff was very friendly and helpful in regrads to pointing you in the right direction and answering questions. They are quick to respond to medical emergencies for which I commend their professionalism and quickness. One complaint I would have is the care which lifeguards shows to patrons, as they don't instruct them on pool rules for their safety. Distances between different parts of the resort are far and tiring.

Arizona Grand Resort is home to a generally well-regarded golf course, which includes several attractive holes and features. This links-style and parkland layout will test most facets of your game, and should provide a round with plenty of enjoyable golfing challenges. Worth visiting if you are in the area. At this Stay&Play facility, you can rise from your bed in the morning and head straight for the first tee.

One of the most historic and beautiful hotels in the state of Arizona. Now don't go there expecting to go golfing or two Hit The Nightlife. Go there to see Splendor and beauty and what a hotel back in the day look like. In fact the Arizona Grand Resort and Hotel is one of the finest in the state of Arizona. Yes you can get golf accommodations for one of the local golf courses they just don't have golf right there on the premises. But if you want to get the feeling if what it was like back in the 40s or 50s on all the movie stars and all the people who had money and power this is one of the hotels they went to. It is a beautiful beautiful hotel very well kept up with all of the charm that it had over the years it has lost nothing of its beauty and it's Grace. The staff they are very accommodating they go out of their way they understand that you, are a guest. A lot of the hotels don't understand that anymore. This hotel understands that you are the guests.

The rooms were nice, although the bathroom could use a little more detailing in terms of cleanliness, nothing extremely bad but for the amount paid I expected more. Also if you book online, it does not include the resort fee. Which gave the impression of hidden fees. They also place a hold until you check out on top of the room charge and resort fee. Despite these draw backs I do see myself staying here again, just with the knowledge of additional hidden fees and mediocre cleanliness.

Service is great. Older resort but well maintained. Food is expensive and just average. Nice golf course. Hiking is very close. Aunt Chiladas Mexican restaurant is on the edge of the property. They accept room charges. Food is wonderful and lots of variety. Pools in each section. Golf cart drivers available for those who don't want to walk or have limitations. Nice convention area.

We host a charity golf tournament here every year and the staff is incredibly hospitable. They're quick to respond to any need we might have, and always have a great attitude while doing so. The golf course itself is also a pleasure, with some truly stunning views of the Valley from the back nine.

Feel free to stay here understanding that they may cancel your reservation without contacting you ahead of time. Made reservations for November 2017 back on August 1st. Reservation was for 4 nights in a room with two queen beds and a pull out since my wife and I have 4 children. Paid one nights stay at that time. In September, we were the victims of cc fraud so the cc company changed our cc number. Yesterday the hotel went to charge the remaining nights to our card but it was declined so the hotel cancelled our reservation and gave the room to someone else without notifying us or giving us the chance to give them our updated cc number. They emailed and said out reservation was "cancelled at our request. " Nope. We never requested a cancellation. When we called to try to get this rectified, (within a couple hours of getting the email) no one had a solution for us. They even claimed, when we asked for the hotel managers email that they didn't know what the email was. They even claimed that they tried to notify us but they must have sent it to the wrong email. They obviously had our correct email since they sent us an email telling us we no longer had a reservation. Not happy with Arizona Grand Resort and Spa. Their customer service/care is terrible. We now have booked at another hotel but at twice the cost since we need room for six. Oh, the people we talked to yesterday said that this happened to several people yesterday so I was not the only one.

I've played golf here many times; one of the best courses around and the green fees won't break the bank. Also, Water Park is awesome for the kiddos. Check out the spa and get a good workout in or schedule a massage — Bill runs the front desk and he's amazing at his job: today was our Anniversary & baby-moon get away; he scheduled an amazing post-massage treat for us with some sparkling cider (champagne is optional). Just a wonderful day! Thank you Arizona Grand! We will be back with friends when they come visit!

Great resort. Room was updated and comfortable. The staff was great as well. We didn't like that there was no microwave in the room. We stayed in a suite and didn't want to pay for the high priced food and drink on the resort but it would have been nice to warm up our leftovers. Also we didn't like that the water park was open only on Saturday and Sunday but I'm guessing it was their off season. There were plenty of pools and Jacuzzis instead. Overall we would definitely come back to this resort. Great place to stay.

Arizona Grand Resort & Spa was an excellent place to attend a conference. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about their food offerings and the local area. I was able to obtain meals that meet my special dietary needs after asking. When a presenter needed a special adapter cable, the resort was able to provide one within minutes. The resort has a beautiful water park for family members to enjoy and excellent golfing opportunities. Arizona Mills Mall, Fry's Marketplace, Fry's Electronics, and a slew of restaurants are within walking distance. There are also nice hiking paths around the resort to try.

The staff and location were fantastic! I was in Mountainside and my suite was lovely. Plenty of room, great view from the balcony, and a really comfortable bed. The bellhops performed tremendously! As it was a conference for over 350 people, they were busy, but friendly, courteous and professional.

I paid for a room 5 weeks in advance for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding night. I received an email confirmation that was vague about potential charges so I called bookeeping to verify what the total was going to be (two resort charges even though they would only be there one actual day, I would not be there, my newly wed kids were coming). When they arrived at the hotel, they were told the room still had to be paid for and that either I would have to come drive 50 miles and present the card (I thought this was taken care of! ) or they would have to pay. Great way to start off a wedding night guys! I recommend NOT making reservations over the phone with this company. The manager that came out was uncaring… it wasn't his problem…

Definitely not a busy weekday destination. Water park is closed & other amenities aren't as available as they are on weekends. Plus, you find out through a small card stuck with your room key at check-in that you have a surprise $50 PER NIGHT + TAXES charge for amenities (whether they're available or not). If you know all this ahead of time & go on a weekend when the water park is open & you have time to golf (extra charge) it may be worth the money. Beds are great, rooms are nice & very spacious but don't expect everything to work properly. They were updating rooms so hopefully that will change soon.

If you want to impress your friend/family/coworkers, this is the place to go. The architecture is visually striking, and they do a very good job of keeping up their grounds. They also have multiple pools, restaurants, bars and spas, so you'll pretty much never be bored. On the off chance you want to get out and see the city, the Arizona Mills Mall is down the street, and downtown Tempe is just a few blocks down from that. The only downside is it's very difficult to navigate if it's your first visit, and it's generally quite a long walk to your room (though you can generally catch a golf cart to get you most of the way there). Overall, it's a great experience and a great hotel.

Enjoyed are stay, the room had been recently renovated and everything looked great. Had a great time at the Oasis. The big slides we're fun but best left for younger people, although I did try them. Loved the lazy River Forest thing in the morning and late at night the afternoons get crowded. We'll be back!

My family and I have always booked a short stay-cation here for the last 5 years, because the children love the water park. Our last visit was not like previous years. Excessive fee's, over charges, even charged us for the wet bar and we don't even drink. After disputing our bill, they charged us 3 more times for the $ 58 resort fee. Its been a week since our last visit and our account is still jacked up. To bad for them, they lost any future stays from us? If your planning on staying here check your bill.

This place is just terrible. Arrived August Monday 28th and their system was down. Could check me in. And then when they started taking names down to manually they didn't bother to come find me and let me know about the list. At this point I've already waited 2 hours and now I am on the bottom of this waiting list. What a cluster. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Terrible service. Terrible and unfriendly receptionist and front counter people. Ridiculous. Terrible.

Been coming here 5 out of the last 8 years. It is the best place to veg and relax. Love the rooms. We fit 4 easy. We get into the lazy river, go around 3 or 4 times, then get into the wave pool. Break it up by getting on one of the three water slides, then right back to the lazy river/ wave pool. Have a snack pool side and a tasty adult beverage, then get back in. It is wonderful. Then we go back to the room, nap, shower, and find a restaurant. Next day, do it all over again. We have two boys, 8 & 6, and young adult girls. They love it. On the third day, we go to the kids museum in Phoenix in the morning, then come back and get into the pool. We look forward to this vacation every year.

Hotel Resort with great services.

Food prices are normal for a resort. The grounds and the view is great. Wish the rooms had microwaves so, you could heat up yout leftovers not sure why you have a kitchenette without something to hear foos up with.

Awesome place, head staff, rooms, reservations people,, top notch, rooms 5 stars, pools, waterpark, fitness center, dining, pub, golf course with it's awesome teebox views, a solid 5 stars, almost makes 6, the night sky, sweet desert air, it's magical, come and stay, drink it all in, you'll be sent, visit the wonderful people at the arizona grand resort, we did,

I've been here to this place many many times and each time it's a pleasure. It's big and huge, but you seem to get used to it after a while. At first it felt a little overwhelming but eventually you come around and things seem to make sense after a while. I definitely recommend chilling in your room for a while, and take a large family with you. It's the perfect spot for an "in-state" vacation.

Nice facilities. Water park is great. Lazy river is fun. Drinks and food are overpriced. Bathrooms I. Roo. S are super small.

I went to Arizona Grand Resort for breakfast with my friend. We had a lovely time sitting on the patio overlooking the golf course. The waiters and staff were very helpful and very professional. Their service was exemplary. The area was very clean and well-kept and it was very well-groomed Landscaping. We committed to one another about how nice it was and that we should visit again and have drinks there on a Friday evening. It was very nice being able to sit outside in such lovely weather with such great company. We would love to visit again and have another great time.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel restaurant resort or spa. Upon entering the first five minutes to take a shower the water valve kept working its way around to Hot all by itself. Carpeting is old and wrinkled. Beach towels all over the hallways outside. It just needs a good scrubbing down outside its kinda grimy looking all over. And the very best part is even though it's counted as a water park feature included in your stay they don't tell you it's 52 dollars additional until you show up at the check in counter. By this time they've already run your credit card and you're stuck for accommodations out of town. It may have been four stars 10 or 15 years ago but it hasn't been kept up to that standard good luck.

Started our family vacation at AZ Grand with my 3 grandsons. Teaching them how to select great locations, excellent hospitality, rate facilities. Arizona Grand Resort, in my grandsons words "Nana, this is awesome. " They enjoyed the waterpark, the pool outside our room, free internet, sitting in the outside lounge. What can say, "I'm an awesome Nana! " for choosing The Arizona Grand Resort.

I could not say enough for this resort. The staff is very pleasant and professional and every aspect was considered and taken care of. The best food is in the waterpark, though the restaurant inside the hotel was delicious too, I only ate breakfast there, so I can't particularly say. All I can say is that I never wanted to leave.

Very difficult to find your way around. Bottled water was super expensive and tap water was absolutly terrible. When you in a desert climate this is really bad.

A bit pricy but everything is. Room was fine, water park enjoyable. Played golf twice, nice coarse. I have no complaints, planning to go again this year.

Had a beautiful experience here for my wedding. We booked a wonderful villa and it was amazing and perfect size for my 15+ quests. The views were great, room service was promt but the food wasnt the best for the extremely high price. I do admit I was a bit disappointed in the water park as it only had one large split pool and a lazy river and of course the slides, there were other pools on the grounds but I think I expected more from the water park. Another thing, the front desk needs to increase its staffing, at check in there was a line of about 30+ people but only 3 working the desk and it's seemed like it took 10 mins to check a person in when it should take less than 5. Also, every time I tried to call guest services there was an extremely long wait. Considering the amount they charge for their least expensive room (around 230) I would think there would be more staff available for the quests. I doubt the room rates will ever go down but they need to. I rated this a 4 only for the beautiful. Room and property.

Was told with reservations I was getting a king room with early check in because its off season and a Tuesday I get there am told I have to take a double queen I explained that when I made reservations I was getting a king rudely was told if I want the king I have to check in @ 4:00pm so instead of arguing I said. Fine my wife needed a swimsuit so we took a shuttle to the mall across the street from resort Arizona mills driver said pick up is 3:30 at entrance number 4.3:30 comes no shuttle 4:00 no shuttle let me mind u its 115 degrees outside 4:15 no shuttle so am sorry am hot and now pissed I call resort front desk says am sorry there no shuttle till 5:00 now am super angery I told her I was told 3:30 then hangs up on me when I get back to resort I called management all he did was give me 12:00 check out instead of 11:00 I cant explain the disappointment I have with this resort dont get me wrong its a beautiful resort but staff and management are terrible ice machine dident work walk around 20mins till I found an other one just not pleased I will and need to find a better resort so so disappointed! Its 10:26 now I had a chance to calm down about my situation went to water park spend time with the family.

This is like the cattle farm, huge corporate resort, charges you for EVERYTHING and ANYTHING. Service and rooms are very mediocre, high prices too! Came here on a business trip for a couple of days and it was overall a very mediocre experience. The room rates were very high compared to some of the other hotels in town, and there's also a very high resort fee to use the Wi-Fi, the fitness facilities. The gym and pools close at 9pm, so it was inconvenient for me to go workout late at night. The resort is HUGE, and everything is far from everything else. My friend was staying in a different complex and it was a 10min walk from my room to her room. The gym is also 10min from my room. So I called for a golf cart to take me places. Everytime I called the golf cart would either not show up, or come 20min later. It was rather an inconvenient way to get around. The Wi-Fi was really really slow to the point I couldn't even download my emails. The restaurants on the property are all seriously terrible, and the services were not good at all.

First, I was able to check in early, however, they sent me to a room that was occupied! I walked into someone in the shower, and another changing in the main bedroom. After immediately going back to the front desk (and having to wait in the line again — see comments below), I was told I would receive a complementary room upgrade. We got the same basic suite — just further away from the rest of our party. Overall the room accommodation was not poor. The room was clean and the bed was comfy, and there were plenty of towels. Pools by the rooms were nice, clean and quiet. Ordering food and drink to these pools was a challenge, but the atmosphere was more of what I wanted than the water park. However the "adult" pool rules were not enforced. The water park is great for kids (6-12) but the 3 year old I was with was continuously plowed into by bigger kids in tubes in the gradual slope/wave pool. It was also crowded and hard to find seating. As to the staff and service. The most attentive people are the bell-hops/ valets. They were ready to take us around the resort and to help us store our clubs/bags when needed. However, the front desk is another story. Expect to wait for at least 30-40 minutes every time you need to ask a question at the front desk. They looked like they had 4 people working with guests, but 2 just made themselves busy without helping anyone. Also, check your bill for miscellaneous charges.

Move on, spend the extra few $ stay at a real resort. This is ok for a day, no more than two, with kids to use waterpark. Otherwise, be prepared to spend more money than you should for what you get. Older rooms and pull out couch horrible.

LIARS! LIARS! LIARS! i WILL NOT recommend for you to stay at this hotel. Service at the desk was HORRIBLE!. Management is also HORRIBLE, they will lie to you and act like they care. I spent close to $1800 for 4 nights, when I arrived I inventory the items in the refrigerator and notice a Gatorade missing. I contacted the Horrible front desk employee and notified them of the discrepancy. It appears that they didn't take care of it, because I noticed a $10 charge on my visa card. They have two check in people at the counter at all times, when they should have four. Both times I went to the lobby one was checking in people, and the other was acting busy with receipts while 12 people waited in line. At check out I called the Front desk, because I didn't want to wait in the 1 hour line to get my receipt. When I called I asked them to email it to me, which they said they would. I checked my email all day, but didn't get one. I'm not the type of person to complain, but it irritates me when stupid people don't do their job correctly. So I decided to speak to the Manager the next morning to get my statement receipt email to me. I spoke to the manager and asked him why I was being charged $10 more, he said its probably just a hold. I gave him my personal email twice so that he can send me my statement to review my charges. He said he would and I waited all day for the email that was never sent. Very Disappointed on the service, pool full of bugs and leafs.

Only place I would stay! Room, Food, Spa, Water park. All excellent! Loved my stay there.

Wonderful venue to have your wedding! The staff is just delightful and extremely accommodating! My wife Montana Meadows from Bird of Paradise Weddings performs many ceremonies there and loves the beautiful grounds and always comments on how smoothly everything turns out! Also — the in house catering is fabulous! Highly recommend having your wedding here.

I'll be honest, my kids were bigger fans than I was. The pictures make the hotel look newer and higher end. I got a discount rate on Orbitz but the hotel charges a $40 fee (not sure if its per stay or per day) which includes phone, Wi-Fi and use of the fitness center and discounts for the ammentites. The hotel should include breakfast for what it charges. The food is extremely expensive but served in large portions. Went on the 4th expecting some festivities or for the pool to be open later. Nope. Wish the pool hours were 10:30 am to 10:30 PM at least instead of 9:30 to 9:30. Don't know how vigilant some of the lifeguards were which is disconcerting given the fact there were seas of children. The other staff were friendly and courteous, and very professional. The rooms are very nice but lack a microwave or fridge other than the mini bar which is bizarre since they have everything else to include a safe. I ended up having to toss out $30 in leftover food from the restaurant. Rdidiculous. It is beautiful and fun for kids. We will go back if I can get a highly discounted rate amd go during a less busy time. The very cool thing is that you can use the water park from noon to 9:30pm the next day even though check in is at 4 and check out at 11am. And parents, one night is plenty.

I agree this place is disgusting! Pure ghetto! The sofa bed was like lying on pure wire and the carpet was disgusting! I got out of the shower. Feet were dried and I walked on the carpet only to see my feet BLACK as if I had just walked on the blacktop! That is why the lights in the room are dim: who knows what I wouldve seen with good lighting! Sick, still cant believe I didnt get ill from staying here! Recommend Hyatt grand or westin, much much cleaner! Stay here if you want your kids exposed to low people cussing around your and their kids and not even making sure theirs arent drowning. Gave it one star cuz couldnt give it any lower! Plus they check your bag going into the pool as if you are going through security screening at the airport…. Tacky says something for the management, would not even stay here if I got a free room.

The room was smaller than I expected but otherwise ok. The water park was awesome even though it was very crowded and my youngest, who was not tall enough for the slides, was disappointed. Parking was difficult but the valet was free. My only real complaint is that the in room coffee was horrible and the tiny fridge in the room was full with mini bar items so there was no room to store your own things. Also if you make reservations through a third party be prepared to pay the $40 a day resort fee upon checkout.

We had high hopes and invested a couple nights to stay here so the kids would enjoy the water park and a nice hotel room. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. Unless you get a really great deal, I would not chose this "resort"! The water park is small, and the boys got bored after an hour. If you get there even after an hour after the water park opens, forget about finding a chair to rest your towels, gear, etc. The water was not clean and there were just too many people to enjoy a leisurely afternoon by the pool. This is an older hotel, and it definitely shows in the decor, paint and room set up. The pull out bed — forget it, don't even think about opening that up — have to get a two beds if you come with a family. Like other reviewers — the parking situation is horrendous — have to walk half a mile to a lot at the edge of the resort. Most of the elevators did not work, so you are walking around half the time trying to get to your room, if you are above the first floor. This stay was a waste of money and do not recommend it to others.

UNSANITARY and HEALTH CONCERN — BE AWARE! *MUST READ* This was our family's staycation. First time guest's and came here to enjoy the water park. We book two nights (thurs-sat) 2 adults 2 Kids. $400.00 Water park is OK. Great for familys. Room was OK. The king sized bed didn't have the fitted sheet attached. Went to lift it up and found crumbs, paper clips and other debris. (GROSS) The pull out bed was unbearable. Thin mattress the kids said it hurt so bad. I called room service and they were aware of how horrible they are, so suggested an egg create. Ok, fine send two egg creates please, they did. I asked room service if they had any FREE water dispensaries around there RESORT. She said no but room service could send us up some ice water. OK great. I would leave to go buy my own water at the store down the street but parking is horrible. 700 + rooms and 30 spaces including the ones reserved for villa residences. SO room service comes and delivers the ice water in a metal pitcher. This was for my kids who were super thirsty after all day in the sun at the water park in ARIZONA. I'm about ready to pour them a glass when I look into it AND find a slimy, coated film with white spots on the top of the ice. I touch it and its greasy. Im just grossed out at this point. I look around the inside of the pitcher and there's white stuck on slime with black dots all around the inner part where you pour it out. IM LIVID by this point and completely disgusted.

I had to stay in this hotel because of the conference. If your employer usually pays for your hotels, expect that in this hotel this will not work. Asking them to send authorization form to employer makes no change — they actually do nothing. All sorts of noises around: construction yard, music, staff. Housekeeping will wake you up at 8:50AM. Power outlets in rooms are positioned stupidly. No chance to leave the phone charging on the bed table. No chance to work on the sofa with a charging laptop. Bring 3-meter power cable with you.
