Mike was awesome at the front counter. He was able to save the night after a crazy day at the airport. The room was clean, floors were clean, and beds were clean. Would happily stay here again.

Please be careful before you pay 84.00 a night! Toilet was completely loose from the ground and a bubble swag in ceiling that cause a hole! Shower faucet was loose from wall and the room smelled so bad! So they credited my card 13.00 and said I’m sorry and come back and we will make it up to you! That’s what you call a slap in the face! What a joke of a business! I will not ever be back and never stay at a beat western again! They should be ashamed of themselves! Be aware folks!

I will never take myself or company here again, had a very important event here, one I should of just bought my own water and ice bucket for my event, when the brought water in and ice didn't leave a ice scoop to get ice out. Then I asked for a copy of receipt for my event and never got one, been over 2 weeks. It doesn't take that long to email someone a receipt. Young lady that at front desk most of the is just Ethier in Lalaland or only cater to the moore high end people. But I will be taken my company else where.

Very upset. I use Best Western across the US weekly as a trucker and this is the only location to have ever required a $25 per night pet fee for a small dog. This location should be ashamed. I have stayed in 5 star hotels that charge $30 for the entire stay. Pathetic that this place would take advantage of truckers with pets.

LOCATION, VALUE, BREAKFAST, & STAFF all make this a great place to feel at home.

Check in lady was great. The rest of my experience was average. Bed was comfortable. Hotel was clean.

Company paid hotel stay. Yet they somehow got a hold of my credit card despite the fact I did not give it to them nor did I give them permission to use it and they charged me twice for my stay! The only meat option during my over 2 month stay was pork sausage. I asked the manager if they could mix things up, perhaps bacon once a week. He said the owner refused to do so. If you’re they’re for a long term stay and need to study be aware, since it’s a low budget hotel they often have youth and high school teams with teen agents and adolescents piled up in the room with 3-4 kids. Would not be an issue if they segregated those long term guests in a separate wing or higher floors from those teams. Or, ask the coaches to at least tell their teams to be respectful of others and not slam doors past 10pm. Or run up and down the hall ways late at night.

Rooms were really clean and comfortable. Super late check-in wasn't an issues. Definitely would go back.

Don't be fooled by the "newly renovated" statement on the website. I specifically asked for a renovated room due to my husband's allergies. Our room was one of the "renovated" rooms yet, the carpeting was old, the bath tub had discoloration and stains, unfinished molding, and a closet door that did not fit the frame. However, the bed appeared new and was comfortable. Also, there was a damaged water pipe in the lobby so you had to steer clear of it when talking to the front desk rep.

My stay here was great. The location gives you access to anything you would want. The staff and hotel were great. I will definitely be back in the future!

Dirty!. The rooms we stayed in was dirty when checking in. So I changed my own bed sheets and cleaned the bathroom before I let my husband and daughter use any of it. I didn't trust housekeeping to clean so we didn't ask for service just requested to bring clean linen. Pool was still dirty after being told that it was clean. And when my husband found a pin/ needle on the floor we told the housekeeping manager who was walking by and she said " tell front desk". The only reason why we stayed the four nights was because it was close to where I worked and wanted some family time with my husband and daughter. I don't think I would stay there any time soon. Front desk staff seemed to be the only people and one of the housekeeper's were very helpful and friendly.

Clean, simple room, comfortable bed & pillows. Typical hot breakfast with REAL scrambled eggs (not those weird premade omelets). All was just what I needed after a very late arrival the night before.

I do not suggest choosing Best Western Plus by the mall in Tempe, AZ. It is definitely not worthy of the "Plus" designation — "Minus" maybe. The lobby is attractive and thus deceptive compared to the room. The room was small and poorly furnished. Our room lacked a lamp by the bed. The coffee maker was a $10 tiny thing you might expect at Motel 6. It was stuck in the bathroom instead of by the microwave/fridge cabinet. There were none of the usual shampoo/conditioner/lotion samples, just awkward bulk dispensers in the shower. The breakfast is not up to the standards one expects at Best Western Plus hotels (e. G. Paper plates and plastic utensils).

The two amazing things about this place is CHRIS AT THE FRONT DESK AND THE SHUTTLE DRIVER WHO WAS ON TIME. My room phone didn't work… took tell hours and CHRIS tell me That it was not just me incorrectly dialing 9 first. Loved the 4th floor and the contact high… oh and no one can have hit coffee or clean it! honest good… motel6, they are everywhere and pets are free.

Hotel is okay, not great but also not bad. Staff could be friendlier, was picked up at the airport and the driver didn't say anything. Rooms are adequate, once again, not anything spectacular. Good value for the price. Great location if interested in Arizona Mills Mall. Updated… stayed here again. What I thought was weird previously (no A/C at night) happened again, made for an awfully uncomfortable night of sleep. Also, water temperature fluctuates from scalding hot to freezing cold, makes taking a shower quite the adventure.

Everything is perfect and comfortable, all close.

Large bathroom, very clean, big TV, iron, hair dryer, very comfortable bed.

Best Western at this location is a great hotel for no overnight stay or a long-term stay. The rooms are gorgeous and the property is always kept clean. The only downside to this hotel is its location. Although it is located in a highly convenient area, right across from the Arizona Mills Mall, the view is nonexistent. So if you are looking for a hotel based on scenery, look somewhere else.

The upgrades give the hotel a nice exterior look, tile in the bathrooms a nice touch, but there needs to be some TLC to the basics. Being a good hotel is when you are brilliant at the basics… ie. Hot water, Water Pressure, no holes in the bath tub. If these things were fixed, it would be a good hotel… without them… it makes the stay less than desirable.

Its better than a three star because the room was clean and quiet. The staff tried to accommodate my need to do a little shopping. Stayed here several times. Lobby renos complete… rooms almost complete. Its a good location to get to and from the airport. Quiet.

This a great hotel in Tempe as its located next two a couple of restaurants. The other plus is the fact that it’s right next to the freeway. They recently did a remodel and did a great job. Ive stayed here a few times and id stay again if I was in the area. Thanks Best Western.

Best Western is usually a good place to stay but I was a little disappointed with Tempe by the mall on this trip. I booked 5 days in advance but was not told the hotel was under construction. The lobby and dining room floors were not tiled but workers were working on the lobby floor when I checked in which made it difficult to get to the elevators or any of the first floor rooms without going outside to get in. I enjoy using the hot tub after a long day but I was not told that it was out of order when I booked the room. I found out when I went to use it. I requested a 1st floor room in advance when I booked the room but was told none were available. I don't see how that was possible since I booked 5 days in advance and was there before check in time of 3:00, so why bother making a request if its not honored.

The rooms are clean and large with coffee and tea in the room. Bath with soap, body milk and hair dryer, a small gym. Breakfast is moderate for European flavor: Sweet food brownies and golatschen rather mushy, a basket with very ripe bananas and apples. Coffee from the thermos dispenser. Have survived 4 nights quite well.

The bad: musty smell, bad plumbing (only choice of shower temperature was tepid or scalding). Hallway noise barely muted. Airport shuttle van looked and smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in 5 years. The van driver was all over the road, very scary ride to the airport. The good: staff was friendly, breakfast was more than acceptable. Good towels. If not for the breakfast, your average motel 6 would beat it by a country mile.

Very pleased with my stay. Thank you for making me feel like I was home. Front Desk Clerk Bianca was so very professional and pleasant. I will definitely stay here again!

Hotel is older but nicely cared for, clean and comfy beds. Airport shuttle and location next to mall, restaurants, convience stores was great. The hotel covers all basic needs with friendly hard working staff.

Nice rooms located next took shopping mall. Shower pressure was great! Very affordable.

The Best Western Plus Tempe was a great experience. It was very clean, the breakfast is awesome and well stocked during serving hours. The best Best Western Plus hotels I have ever experienced. Great stay and great price. Everything was functional, a nice nights sleep. Thank you!

Stay away. Airport shuttle driver was horrible. 20 minutes of hell listening to the F word and screaming flight attendant students. The hotel was laying new baseboard. Noise was a living hell. Breakfast is poor. Hotel needs updating. Poor part of town. Far from airport. Find another hotel that is up to date and with a professional shuttle driver. Better value elsewhere.

We have stayed at 3 different BW locations here in Phoenix and by far, the Best Western Plus by the Mall was the top of the line. DO NOT GO TO BW INN of Tempe (awful), BW airport is ok, location is nice if you want to be close to airport but they don't serve full breakfast. STAY HERE at BW by the Mall, From staff to our overall stay, we highly recommend this hotel. They also serve a FULL breakfast bar, which the staff works hard to keep up and continue to supply & keep clean during breakfast hours. All staff here is friendly and pleasant, Logan at the front desk was exceptional and very helpful during our stay. Rooms and housecleaning staff were also great! Very well kept, clean and quick with service. (see pic) They went above and beyond, suprised our girls and found thier dolls all set up when we came back from being out. They thought it was the coolest thing to see when we came back and it really made thier day. They are in process of upgrading, which I'm sure will only make future stays even more delightful. They also have a pleasant seating area oitside. Didn't get to try the pool, but I saw plenty of guests coming in and out in swimsuits, so that tells me the pool is a go. Thanks BW!

The front desk staff and shuttle driver are amazing. They knew I had a late flight due to weather delays. I didn't get in until 3am. The driver stopped so I could get something to drink, and the front desk has gift bags ready for us with water and snacks. That was very nice of the them to do. The rooms were clean and confortable. No complaints here.

All was good. Only stayed one night. Pool was nice. Accommodations were great. Lots of variety at breakfast. Only problem was that the handicap room my grandmother was staying in was at the far end of the hall, ways away from all common spaces (lobby, dining area, etc. )

Unfortunately our stay wasn't as good as usual at this location. We booked a king suite and when we arrived we were told we were booked for a double bed room and if we wanted to stay in the king suite would have to pay more and all this while we are best western rewards members. The front desk staff was friendly enough. This location has central heat and cooling so if you like your settings just right in your room don't expect it.

This place is honestly dated. It could use new beds, but they do have some life left in them. The room is good and has a flat screen, but like I said, dated. The room I had had some poor wall patches done and the paint is a touch off on the cover up. I will say the shower is really good. Hot water and great pressure. The hotel itself has some interesting architecture inside around the elevator. Overall if the price is right it is a good place to stay for a few days.

Good clean hotel. Comfortable beds. I did not have a chance to use the pool but it did look nice.

Me and my family were there on Saturday and Sunday stay just a couple of days ago. Went to go eat the buffet breakfast and noticed that there was no Eggs and sausages. The food was, coming out late. I take to the staff name Reyna she, was very polite, but I understood why the food wasn't stock. The place was full of people and she was doing it all by herself. This situation happened both days on Saturday and Sunday. Me and my family been to alot of motels (Marriott) and didn't have this situation. Would we stay there again? Maybe not!

I booked at Best Western Plus for 2 reasons. 1) free shuttle service to airport and area attractions 2) they had cribs available. On a positive note, I will say that the hotel was very clean both in the lobby and in the room. The staff was also very friendly. We checked in at 1pm and I requested a crib be sent to the room. The front desk walkie-talkied someone to bring the crib so I was expecting it shortly thereafter. When we got to the room it was 2 double beds, not the "king deluxe" that my reservation was for. The closet door was broken and I was having trouble imagining where they'd put a crib as there was barely any room to walk. But it had a fridge for our baby's milk so that's all I really cared about. At 3:30 I went to desk to ask if a crib was coming. Shifts had changed and it was a new person. There was no record of a crib request but the gentleman promised he'd get one over. We wanted a shuttle to the mall but it was unavailable… Not the worst of things but it was an advertised service. At 6:30pm I went again to the front desk asking about status of crib. It was the same guy, he had a note for it but said he had to wait for someone to get back to deliver it. At this point out baby was getting tired and crabby so we tried putting him to sleep on bed to no avail. Finally at 7pm the crib arrived. We realized shortly after that we didn't have any toilet paper. The beds we so soft and billowy that our torsos were higher than our chest and heads. Very uncomfortable.

This hotel is standard Best Western. Breakfast is okay with cold cereal, pastries and a changing hot food every day. They do not respect the guests whatsoever though. At 8am they started hammer drilling right below my room. It sounded as if the building was going to collapse. The staff also has no regard for "do not disturb" signs, regardless of what the management says. They will come into your room whenever so do not leave valuables in your room. This happened on multiple occasions. The first time the maintenance man forgot his tools in my bathroom and I found them. The manager came up and apologized and said it was an emergency and that they tried to call my room. There were no voice messages on my phone. Then the same thing happened again two days later when I found some new towels in my bathroom. I wish the management would have some courtesy to the guests and at least let the guests know that they had to come into their rooms. I will be requesting my company to change the hotel we stay at in the future.

The room I stayed at this time was too noisy due to the fact that it was located next to the emergency exit stairs. Room was really clean but they could use better curtains that actually block sunlight completely. Breakfast was not as good as it used to though. Front desk clerks were really nice and professional. Wifi was awful… connection was faulty.

Stay here whenever I am in town, very nice place, clean rooms, hot showers, and a very friendly, professional front desk staff that will go out of there way to help you.

Stayed 2 night's. Bed sheet had a few small holes in it. The air conditioner wasn't very effective, the room was humid and uncomfortable. The pillows were to small. Square pillows? The only plusses are the free breakfast conveniently located next to mall if you wanted to shop.

Stay here all the time when coming for work training. Always meets your expectations! Awesome employees and breakfast.

Came in at 1am asked for a room and was given a room key with in 5 mins great customer service and very nice rooms.
