Juneau Best Western is the best hotel in Juneau great hospitality weather your a paying customer or Medicaid!

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Although they are on the small side. We were happy to have the refrigerator, microwave and kurig. The free continental breakfast was very convenient and good. Especially since our room was so close to the lobby.
The housekeeping ladies paid close attention down to the details. However, the from desk staff was short, rude and wouldn’t even get up from sitting with their feet up on the counters!

Enjoyed our stay in Alaska more than the night here. Nothing against it, but very bland. Well located if you're flying out early the next morning like us.

I have stayed here twice and have not been disappointed with the Inn, except for the shuttle service this last visit. The room was clean and nice, and I loved having a keurig brewer! Wake up service was on the mark and people at the desk very friendly and helpful. This visit, they seemed to be too busy to accommodate our transportation needs. Other than that, I would highly recommend. I'll drop one star, because it was imperative for us to get to a course and back to the motel again and they did not meet our needs on this.

The Best Western Country Lane Inn, was clean and comfortable. The staff were polite, professional and knowledgeable. The availability of the shuttle vans was well planned and allowed for very easy use to downtown Juneau, the cruise docks and the airport. This hotel is undergoing room renovations, which are simply making it better than it already is. The renovations did not interfere or create problems for us. There was minimal noise and distraction. We will stay here again, when we visit Juneau.

Great place to stay! In the Mendenhall Valley area, convenient to airport and with free parking. They also have scheduled shuttle service to Downtown, thus avoiding the hassles of finding parking there.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was small but clean. Good selection at breakfast buffet. Liked fresh fruit choices. Appreciated there was a luggage storage room to put our bags while we went sightseeing. Besides the shuttle picking up passengers at the airport they had scheduled service into downtown Juneau. We really enjoyed that the shuttle would take us to sights and restaurants close by if they weren't doing the airport/scheduled runs since we didn't rent a car.

Staff is super friendly, the owner took time to shuttle us downtown and gave us additional information about the area and must see spots. The room was extremely clean and staff remembered we had a family of 4 and made sure we had enough towels. The breakfast is really good, the eggs and bacon are delious. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Juneau you will not be disappointed!

Wonderful stay. The staff was excellent. Breakfast was hot and delicious! Warm cookies in the lobby in the evening. Van took us where ever we needed to go. Always on time to pick up. Will be back. Only place I will stay in Juneau. Have been there in the past many times for work. This time was for vacation and sight seeing.

Staff is great. Communication is great. They send you an email confirming your arrival and then invite you to check in online before you arrive. You can also chat with the staff online. The breakfast is great. The rooms are not spacious but provide a sleeping place that is all most people need up here. I docked it a star due to it being very dated. The decor is old including the carpets and blankets and wallpaper etc. There is a minor remodel going on in the lobby with new carpet. They do offer a shuttle to and from the airport which is only a few blocks away. The pricing is fair especially considering the other options available. I have stayed here before and will do so again.

I stayed here one night. Nice, clean rooms. Keurig coffee maker in the room. Fan on the room. Very good breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits, and gravy. Juice, milk, coffee, and much more. Would recommend.

Very noisy room. Loud banging noise every minute. Must have been the relief valve on the boiler. I complained about it and the next night it banged all night again. Obviously the employees don’t care if the customers can’t sleep. I gave them a good lecture. I can say Best western in Alaska is not worth staying in.

I've stayed here several times, it's simply the best and most reliable place in Juneau. It's not new or fancy, but the rooms are always clean and comfy and great staff to get you where you need to be. I've tried the others (when it was booked up here) and I always come back.

Had a great stay here. Breakfast was awesome and check in And check out went smooth and they let us do a late check out. Paid with my best western rewards so it was all free! Great place compared to other Juneau hotels in the area.

Nice rooms, nice bed, friendly service, affordable and clean. Shuttle service will pick you up/drop you off at the ferry terminal, airport, Fred Meyer and downtown Juneau. Awesome :)

Perfect place to stay when in Juneau as a group, family with kids or couple. It is 2kms away from the Airport and approx travel time is about 2-3minutes. They have shuttle to and from the airport (anytime and on time). They also have sched shuttle to bring you from hotel to any part of Juneau downtown and can likewise fetch you back to hotel with sched: 11am; 1pm;3pm; 5pm and 7pm. Friendly and accommodating kitchen, front desk staff and van drivers. Unlimited coffee anytime of the day and likewise they assist you gladly and provide your needs for your room, as requested (ex. Toiletries). With ref inside the room, hair dryer, kitchen and microwave. I strongly recommend this hotel and will stay again when I come back next year.

Fine hotel for the Juneau area. Walking distance to airport, dining, bar. Has laundry. Got an upgrade to a king suite as a member of BW rewards. Although king suite lacks a good desk to work at. Only thing they need to add is a workout room.

Very noisy. You can hear every room door slamming from three rooms away and god forbid your room is near the lobby, where that door slams all day and night. You can hear everything your neighboring room occupants are doing, from using the toilet, to walking around (even on the ground floor) and worst of all, people checking in at 3 am unloading their baggage as soon as they arrive rather than waiting until morning, you know, that long lost thing called common courtesy? If you’re looking for a room to rest in with peace and quiet, well, you’re going to be disappointed. Very. If you’re selfish and inconsiderate and don’t give a flying flip about disturbing other people, and aren’t disturbed by like minded people, you will love it here. The staff are wonderful and very professional, especially very accommodating to disabled customers. Breakfast was appalling. Powdered eggs that were burnt. Undercooked greasy bacon. Ive has better biscuits and gravy in marine corps boot camp.

The Country Lane Inn has been wonderful. The rooms are cozy, the free breakfast is delicious, and the location is wonderful. It's close to many shops and restaurants, so if you didn't rent a car, you'll be fine. They even offer shuttle services downtown and to the airport. The only reason I'm giving a 4 instead of a 5 is because the shower in our room was a bit busted, but nothing non workable. I would highly recommend staying here.

The room was very clean and comfortable. There are a lot of TV channels. It is located in a great area, you can walk to some stores and food. The guy at the front desk was nice. There is no elevator so the second floor is less than ideal if you are coming into town with a lot of baggage. Overall I was very satisfied and highly recommend this Inn.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise. It was updated and clean. Staff were nice. They put out a few items early because we had an early flight. Shuttle was prompt and the driver was friendly.

Best value around. Clean rooms, good breakfast, and everything works. But, this place is a bit dated and needs a full remodel, inside and out. Still, it's the best option in the Valley. Also, the Wi-Fi is a bit funky. The management is filtering it so you can't surf as freely as elsewhere. While I get that, it seems an unreasonable imposition.

On our journey to Skagway, my wife and I have always stayed at Grandma House but they were full. We were pleasantly surprised with the large bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette since we had our new 4 wk old grandson and daughter. It exceeded our expectations, breakfast was great and even though you can't get an evening meal there, the sister hotel just down the street (Grandma's House) will deliver anything you want to your room. I had salmon and my wife and daughter had an Italian dish they loved just as much. Great service with a smile, courteous and friendly staff! I definitely would recommend staying here and we will again.

We enjoy this hotel… we stay once a year. We go on a fishing trip every year to Alaska and we always stay here at the end of our trip. This hotel has a storage freezer for their guest and are willing to meet you to allow you to claim your fish basically at whatever time you need. Even if it's at 4:00! AM! Sandra.

It's less than a ten minute walk from the airport. Immediately, we saw a tray of fresh baked cookies in the lobby and helped ourselves. They have gorgeous rooms with fabulous showers. Also a medium fridge, which easily stored our three gallons of chocolates milk. They have shuttle vans that took just the three of us to our dock at 4:30 AM, well on time for our ferry ride. Even though continental breakfast didn't open until 5, they had breakfast items ready for us the night before!

My family and I stayed one night here. I walked barefoot on the carpet after my shower before going to bed. My husband advised not to do that. I decided to wash my feet with a wet washrag. The rag came away gray! I was disgusted. The bathroom is so small. You have to move all the way over by the bathtub to close it because the door swings within a couple inches of the toilet. The people upstairs were walking around normally, but we could hear every step even when wearing earplugs. I certainly expected better for the amount of money Best Western charged.

Clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The proximity to the airport is a huge win for those with early flights. I really appreciated the free airport shuttle. Breakfast was available from 5am on, so even those on the earliest flights should be able to get a little food before their flight.

Country Lane Inn was a great choice for our Juneau stay (Aug 2017). Just outside of the main town, we did not get caught up in the crowds of central/main downtown. This Best Western is clean with a very helpful staff. It offers a free shuttle to and from the downtown area hourly (as well as airport). Taxi & Uber* is readily available for other needs (*Uber is NOT available in all AK cities yet). Additional added value for this property — the daily breakfast was good and saved us time & money.

Best Western County Lane Hotel is a wonderful place to stay when you are in Juneau. We stay there often and always have kind and courteous service. The rooms are always clean and the staff are always friendly. Breakfast is great and the in-room internet works wonderfully.

Clean and well cared for. Parking is limited. Breakfast is quite good. I like staying there. It's convenient to airport, ferry, and shopping. I stay there whenever I go to Juneau.

You won't go wrong. Close to food, small mall, air port etc. Very courteous and friendly service. Clean room. Met all my single man needs. Breakfast was hot and good. Counter people were very courteous and shuttle was quick and accommodating. Will stay there again as there is no need to look elsewhere.

Good for a budget hotel. It's a room and it seems pretty clean.

My wife and I have flown from Colorado to Juneau over a dozen times, our ultimate destination being Whaler's Cove Lodge (one of the best fishing experiences on the globe). Upon arriving in Juneau, we usually stay at the Best Western. It is clean and comfortable. And they offer a shuttle service into Juneau in the late afternoon, so we walk around a bit in Juneau, have dinner there, and then the shuttle takes us back to the Best Western. There are also one or two places to dine within walking distance of the Best Western. If you are a movie fan, there also is a theater near the Best Western, as well. If you have a car, it's an easy drive to the Mendenhall Glacier. Awesome, but see it soon before global warming melts it away! If you like to walk or jog, there is a trail system that you can reach within a mile of the Best Western, and the well-kept trail is quite scenic heads out for about four miles with a turnaround point near the airport. Have fun.
