It is a Beautiful Place & they are Super Accommodating here! There rooms & property are beautiful & nestled in the woods!

This place is amazing the people are so nice and will go out of there way to help, you don’t get that often. I’ll be comming back hete again.

New Lodge was beautiful. Although would be better if they didn’t start building another one behind one that has decks to relax with nature. Defeats the purpose of spending extra money for a personal deck. Staff was nice. Was a little upset that the glacier walk is something you can do on your own for no cost. Wish we would have known that. Beds were so comfortable! Best sleep I got the whole trip!

My husband, daughter and I stayed here this weekend. Our first time in Alaska. Very nice, cozy lodging. Love the setting and location.

We came in on the the train and sis an excursion and the Windsong Lodge picked us up and what a nice staff! The new suites are so spacious and wonderful! Great Lodge! We will be back!

The place is so pretty. Huge lodge and the room was so spacious Very nice restaurant also. Views from the restaurant were gorgeous. The mountains are magnificent.

We were an overnight guest from Holland America. The rooms were these adorable, cozy cabins that were tucked away in the woods. We had a gorgeous view from our balcony, and the beds were super comfy. We ended up hanging out at the bar on campus, which has great beer and our bartender was very sweet. There are bears in the area, but you should not have a problem if you take caution. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here if you visit Seward.

Cute lodge with nice pine-log style rooms. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Parking was easy to find. Only thing is that we wished it had a hot tub!

Very nice place. We had a perfect view of town and ocean from our room. Very comfortable. We were with a cruise group so check in was all done prior. Great location to all of Downtown.

The Windsong Lodge is located in various buildings in a woodland setting. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. The staff is friendly and welcoming. All modern day amenities are provided. Their restaurant The Resurrection Roadhouse has a great view of the mountain and river on the property. The food and service is above average. The Windsong is a great base for all that Seward has to offer.

Great hotel in Seward. Excellent staff and service. Rooms very clean and modern. All rooms with refrigerators. Free shuttle leaves and picks up throughout the day. Free pick up from the train station also. Top of the line restaurant and full bar. Nice surprise.

It is really good and peaceful place. The town is very small but there are many things you can do, like hiking, kayaking, cruise with ship, zip line ect. And the good part is that the price for all of these activities is cheap. Furthermore the restaurants in the town are nice and the food is so delicious. If you want to go in a nice restaurant I highly recommend you Ray's waterfront not only because of the food, but also because this restaurant has a view of the ocean.

Middle of nowhere, with nothing nearby. If it was up to me, I would stay at some other place we were here as part of a pre-arranged tour.

Beautiful location, warm and inviting lobby, friendly staff, and homemade food served at the espresso bar and roadhouse. Convenient guest shuttle to town, makes several stops and runs hourly.

A beautiful setting for this lodge. Enjoyed sitting by the fireplace in the lodge and eating at their wonderful restaurant.

Very nice lodge. Price of room very reasonable. Room clean and comfortable. The setting is magnificent. Right outside of Seward. Very much surrounded by mountains, glaciers and wildlife. Would def come back. Check in great. The staff very friendly and accommodating. If coming to Alaska. Come to Seward. Stay at the Windsong Lodge. You will not be disappointed. We had intended to go to Anchorage. When we got here, our plans changed. We could not have asked for a more perfect setting to experience the Alaskan Bay. Thank you Windsong Lodge!

Beautiful setting! Comfortable rooms. Food is good but expensive as usual in Alaska. There is a fridge in the room so take advantage of it. Shuttle service very convenient and drivers freindly and helpful. Seward is a lovely area with lots to do and see. We especially enjoyed the cruise tour of Kenai Fjord area.

Nice Lodge in Seward, AK. Clean room with private bath. Main Lodge has breakfast items you can purchase. Pick up free shuttle to shopping, museum, dining and waterfront for tours. Nice walkable property!

Room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony. The shuttle around town was a life saver. Both drivers are knowledgeable about the area. The food at the hotel is delicious but a little pricy. Espresso bar available in the main lodge though. The batteries died in our TV remote getting us stuck on the 700 club, but they got us replacement batteries within five minutes! Beautiful place to stay.

The Windsong Lodge is always my favorite destination in Seward. The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. The Lodge is set back away from the main road and surrounded by trees, making it feel like you are truly out in the wilderness. The restaurant is especially nice and the overall atmosphere makes it a must for any visit to Seward. I look forward to my next trip to Seward so I can visit here again.

Very quiet, clean and restful. The rooms are spread out in 8 rooms to a two story building. The rooms are very nice with a great TV, coffee machine, great pillows and comfy beds. There is an ice box freezer on the bottom landing with bags of ice to take to your room… Breakfast at the on-property restaurant was great. Friendly staff with a free shuttle to downtown or the small harbor.

Good size clean rooms with a great view.

This was my second visit to the Windsong Lodge and I look forward to dining here whenever I am in the area. The food is delicious, a little pricy, but worth it once jn a while. The atmosphere is relaxed, but not overly formal. Great place for good dinner.

Good price, great tour to Exit glacier.

The rooms weren't that great, the bathroom had no sink. It was placed in the bedroom. The heating was malfunctioning. But the service was good, the people were nice and helpful. Restaurant staff was friendly, but the food and wine we got weren't that great. Still, the environment was memorable.

Stayed here only for a night, but with the sun still up at 9 pm, we enjoyed exploring the place — trailing footpaths leading to pockets of forests behind the spread of 2-storey lodges, then jogging out of its premises to the empty road along the banks of Resurrection river. Our lodge (Dogwood), has a charming veranda, and, although facilities were basic, it was really neat and very comfortable. The chilly draft, the bright midnight and the incessant sound of crickets and occasional cooing of birds (hopefully owls) kept me awake till 3 am, but I loved the experience. Besides, the crisp morning air, the soft sunlight and the magnificent view of the snow covered mountains as we walk to the Resurrection roadhouse for our breakfast were more than enough to perk me up. Wonderful, wonderful place!

Very nice but hard mattresses. Have to buy breakfast which was a little spendy and they didn't have great internet but the trade off was the location.

My best friend got married here last weekend. Although the lodge was beautiful and the food was great, the event coordinator was a huge setback. She was extremely argumentative and rude. Nothing was set up like what was discussed earlier in the year. There seemed to be an argument over every little detail that the bride wanted. She had a poor attitude the whole weekend and wasn't very helpful. After paying such a large amount, you would think the event coordinator would cater to us. She treated us as if we were an extreme inconvenience to her. Every request was a chore. She made a couple rude remarks toward the guests that were definitely uncalled for. I'd say that with a new event coordinator, this lodge would be awesome to get married at. But as long as Anna is in charge, do not get married here.

My husband and I just got married here last week, the venue was beautiful and the food was great but the service was horrible. The event coordinators were extremely rude to me and all of my friends and family. We were argued with everytime we tried to do something a little different than how they wanted it, even something as simple as how I wanted the tables arranged. When my sister went to ask the event coordinator if we could move the chairs back out to the lawn for the ceremony since it had stopped raining, even offered to do it ourselves, she threw a fit and just walked away from her, she did come back with servers to move them but her attitude was extremely uncalled for. Then we were told we had the venue until midnight but at around 8pm they started cutting my guests that were not even close to drunk off. Despite all of this we did still end up having a beautiful wedding and a lot of fun with our family and friends but it would have been nice to not have spent half of our wedding arguing with the staff. Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone who may be planning to get married here.

Can not imagine having stayed somewhere else while in Seward! Awesome guide for the exit glacier tour and great job working all the shuttle services to get people where they needed to be!

My husband and I stayed at the Lodge for 2 nights 07/29/14-07/31/14. We arrived in Seward on the Rail service from Anchorage. There was a free shuttle bus that picked us up form the railroad station. The hotel also provides free shuttle services to and from town which was really nice since the lodge is about 5-10 minutes outside of town. Our bus driver Javier was super friendly and pointed out the best places to eat and what to see during our stay. The two girls that were working the front desk while we were checking in were just plain RUDE. They could use a refresher course on customer service. The room we stayed in was average and dated. We did eat dinner at the Resurrection Roadhouse during our stay. The service and the food was great. It was a beautiful day and we were able to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the beautiful scenery during our meal.

Okay rooms, good service, nice breakfast. (They had one of the best omelettes and muffin I've ever had. Delicious! ) It's a bit outside town, but they run regular shuttles into town, Safeway, etc.
