Best memories of the hotel. Thanks to the staff. Minor flaws disappear against the backdrop of an ideal location, a special atmosphere and a range of services. One two nights is definitely not enough. From 5 nights will already give a full impression.

Solo travel to Cambodia and stayed at Okay Boutique Hotel for 3 days is an excellent choice. It is very near cafes, Pub, bars, Street food and many great Attraction! Just get a ride for 1 USD you can travel to many places. My room is huge for me, impressed with the design of the property. I thought I requested for a Double Bed but it provided me 2 twins bed. Room is clean, service was good. Breakfast included with the stay and is good but it's the same dishes for my 3 days stay. Overall is a good location. I paid around $40 USD to stay.

We loved this hotel. The reception staff were friendly and efficient, the room clean and comfortable. We were given an upgraded room which was a pleasant surprise. Tuktuks were available at the door. We did not have time to try out the restaurant but the breakfast buffet suited us just fine. The view from the restaurant and the lovely swimming pool area were breathtaking this morning. Good value for money. Definitely on the list for a return visit.

Fantastic hotel right behind the national museum. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the breakfast is a pure highlight. Well presented and rich in choices, including made to order eggs, fresh fruits and local dishes. The hotel setting in the rooms, lobby and the breakfast restaurant is a beautiful Khmer theme ambience. We as a family of 3 have a great time here and can highly recommend this hotel.

Wow this is a little gem I have never seen such ornate carvings. The whole hotel is a work of Khmer art. From the very start as you walk in you are met with wooden reliefs painstakingly hand carved depicting ancient Buddhist culture epics of Vishnu turning the sea and the legends of Hannibal's exploits with his feared elephant army. What is amazing is the fact that the whole hotel is a pure work of Khmer skill that is unrivalled. I spend a lot of time in Cambodia and have never seem a hotel so beautifully hand carved. The rooms magnificent with all the amenities (cable TV, bar fridge, kettle, safe for your valuables). Another thing that really made the experience Evan better is there beautiful and genuine staff, they are so friendly and will do anything for you plus they love socialising and hearing your story's. Show some respect to the hotel and the staff. Give the staff a little bow because they are so amazing. I give the staff 5 stars because they deserve it. The roof top pool is brilliant, nice and clean it even has a stone carving from the famous monkey god (owww monkey). You can eat at the pool and order food and drinks all day while your swimming (the food was so yummy). A real top notch buffet breakfast. Another amazing thing is you get a free night cruise on the Mekong that goes for 2 hours and its awesome. The only cost is for transport to the boat which is only 1 dollar US. You can organize bus trips and tours at the hotel.

Hotel is located in a very small sort of back street, however the hall is beautiful once you get it. Rooms are very spacious and clean. I wouldn't say it's the best location as I haven't found much around at night, but I may have just missed the best places around. Swimming pool area is quite small, therefore crowded easily but it's a cool place.

Great hotel remove very welcoming noises to little care after the outings and visits a small pool it makes very good super staff it takes care of everything for you super breakfast they are all listening.

Great hotel, well placed, clean, pretty view of the pool bar restaurant, staff at the small care and very nice.
Only downside the touktouk of the hotels insist too.

Actually quite pleasant, but when you order food, the staff can often not deal with it (of everything with extra-wishing for example No TWIEBELN on the citizen)

Great location, one or 2 bucks of tuk tuks from almost every interesting thing. Nice to the Skybar, the lobby, and also the rooms. The water for the shower was not very hot, but we are still in Cambodia, if you are picky, go on holiday in Switzerland.

Very nice hotel the very nice and professional beautiful pool on the 144th floor with an unlikely view of the city.

Nice hotel but the room What I had has a musty smell.

Booked a room with a view of the city and the river, upgraded to a room on the 1st floor with a view of the slums, the good was able to agree on a room on the 11th. This room had terribly slippery floors, little outlets, dust everywhere, ants, in the bathroom the worst sink on my mind and a miserable shower. Breakfast is on the 15th floor, lifts go to 14th. The choice of food is meager and the tables are all busy. I would recommend getting around this hotel by side.

Love it, beautiful hotel close to lots of restaurants, national museum and palace. Convinient. I would recommend it. Affordable.

The rooms were fine and well serviced. The location was good and the staff were friendly. The quality of the food lets it down, however. The breakfast buffet is okay but other a la carte meals are not great. I heard many people complaining about the food during my stay, so it must be a common problem that they need to address. The only other problem was we booked 2 adjacent rooms. Prior to arrival we double checked and received email confirmation they would be adjacent. On arrival we were told we had been 'upgraded' to rooms on different floors. This can be inconvenient when you are travelling with kids. The hotel was full so there was nothing they could do. So it's a nice hotel but it could be run a bit better.

Excellent geographical location. Spaced upper rooms. On the other hand our bathroom was not practical. Lavatory — hand washer. It's hard to brush your teeth! The only way to put things on was above the bathtub. Quiet hotel. The restaurant can help but is not to be recommended particularly.

Lovely traditional hotel, ideally situated for walking to restaurants and bars. The reception area is stunning, heavily carved furniture, statues and pots of lotus flowers. The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable, the beds are firm. The restaurant offers a very nice selection of foods and drinks for breakfast. The pool is nice and clean. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Very highly recommended hotel!

Well quite) impressive hall of the hotel. There is a swimming pool on the 14th floor.

For the first time at Okay Guesthouse pp, we enjoyed to stay several night in there, they kept nice room with two big windows, nice mini modern TV, aircon working well, toilet cleaned. Feeling happy and comfortable. Breakfast and lunch, diner are tasty khmer food. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Location is great between royal palace, museum, diamond island and Eoan big shopping mall. We will come back definitely.

I liked it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and the rooftop pool are particularly popular. The main drawback of the pool is the small size. The beds are very small. In the hottest hours (from 12 to 16) all sunbeds are occupied.

Didn’t stay there but ate dinner there. Food was great and cheap. No complaints here. If you want a nice cheap meal go here. Yum.

Perfectly located in the heart of Phonm Penh, this hotel is certainly more than Okay. The pool is a luxurious break from the city heat and gives a great viewpoint over the palace and museum. Food is excellent.

The quality of the room is not as bright as the photos on the website, the rooms are clean, the towels are smelly, the breakfast is very low, only the swimming pool/hotel is in good location, I don't think I will try this accommodation again.

Nice and cheap hotel in the lobby, but the breakfast is very small, the room lighting is not enough, the lobby is a bit damp and not ventilated, the evening worshipping the gods incense will make the hall full of smoke. The room is clean enough, the receptionist is a bit lazy, will lean on the door, desultory to greet, don't want to live again.

Great place to stay! Very good price and awesome amenities. Beautiful building, reception and rooms. The personal was very kind and goos english. The pool and the breakfast awesome. In the reception is a tour desk which was super helpful! We are coming back soon.

Down a small side street, this hotel is an amazing building full of carvings… it feels like a building in the Royal Palace. Rooms a relatively basic but perfectly functional and clean. Breakfast and facilities are very good.

Spectacular reception worthy of a museum, the welcome is great they receive you with a juice and a refreshing towel enjoying the lounge while processing the reservation.
It has massage service at an incredible price compared to the outside, the pool on the top floor is great, although it usually has people, the buffet is very good and varied, they have a tuk tuk service at the door always available, they also have Airport shuttle service with prefixed prices.
In reception normally you will find a very friendly public relations that you can manage tickets to monuments and shows at better prices taking care of everything, it was a good thing to count on her.
The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped, full of details.
The hotel is very well located, being able to walk to the main monuments, although it is a challenge to walk around this city.
In short if I go back to the capital I would repeat in this fantastic hotel.

This guesthouse is not okay! The 1 star is for the staff, they were friendly. I ordered food at the restaurant, it was tasteless and made from inferior quality products. The bedroom was horrible, dirty walls, suspicious looking red 'satin' material on the bed. Nothing to sleep under. The TV was ancient and the TV trolley broken. A run-down place. Worst stay in SEA.

This is a great budget guest house that surrounding by attractive tourist site.

Huuuuuge comfortable beds. Small rooms but a good place to stay. Friendly staff. Situated opposite the Flicks Cinema. Discounted food at restaurant if you're staying there. Saw a rat wandering around the ground floor but I guess this is an "Okay" place!

Perfect spot for the not so picky, backpackers, easy travellers. Very good, polite and helpful staff. Not complaining at the state of the hotel but my opinion rooms could be cleaner. Location is good. Good food (not the coffee tho! ) Good connections if you want to travel to other cities. Wi-Fi comes and goes, but it's more than enough for booking your next stay, flight, check maps or for money transfer.

This place has very nice staff that can give you all the info you need. The rooms are big and clean.

Just to be clear, there are 2 DIFFERENT Okay Guest Houses. There is the Guest House which is this one and there is the hotel one which is reviewed on Trip Advisor. If you choose to stay at Okay Guest House by the river, expect the staff to be unaccomodating and unhelpful. If you have rooms on the 3rd, 4th, or 5th level then good luck because there are no elevators. You will have to carry your stuff up yourself up the steep steps. Bathroom is horrible. Tiny and dirty. Rooms are not that great but hey, it's what you get for $10-$15 per night. Wifi is spotty but free. If they try to arrange a tuk tuk for you say NO. They will rip you off and take half the proceeds for themselves. Staff suck. They are not professional and don't do what they say. Hotel is also far from everything. It's other end of the riverside.

We found okay guesthouse in our lonely planet guide and stayed two nights in a double a/c ensuite for $15 per night. The staff were lovely, it is a family run business, and the restaurant by reception faces onto the bustling street with a screening of plants to shelter you from the rain and the haggling! The food is very reasonably priced and we had some of our best meals in Vietnam here. Onward travel was easy to organise through the staff and their English was some of the best we encountered in Vietnamese guesthouses. We highly recommend okay over others in phnom Penh that we saw! More than ok :)
