Rooms are ok but the biggest problem is the neighboring restaurant workers park in the hotel parking lot and take their breaks there. A lot of loud music!

This location is near the highway. The noise level can be high at times. There are a decent number of restaurants nearby as well.

Nope don't do it. Don't even waste your time. The price is decent but that room is not worth it. Bad smell, cigarette burns everywhere, toilet was horrible… and to be honest this place is a facade. It's in a decent part of town so that's how you get reeled in but please don't fall for the deception. When you get there it gets real sketchy real quick. If you see this place keep on driving. I promise you'll find something better.

Well just for one night, a stopover between New Orleans and Atlanta. The hotel is old as well as its facilities. No breakfast, just coffee. It would be nice if the reception staff learn the rules of politeness and know how to live.

I use Priceline app, and when I let Priceline pick the hotel they usually pick Extended Stay. My room is always clean, furniture new and staff is professional. Breakfast is just grab and go breakfast bars/ oatmeal/ muffins. Wi-Fi is easy to use. Great for business or leisure.

The staff was very nice and hospitable. But the room itself was not good. The counter top had large stains and burns on it. The TV was suppose to be color but unfortunately was black and white. There were only 2 pillows in a double occupancy room. To name a few.

Rooms were not clean and beat up. Jewelry store next door was robbed same night we got there. We were told cars were broken into a few days prior to us getting there. We checked out next morn and moved 3 miles away. Front desk was pleasant and restaurant next door is great!

Really clean and nice room for price. Very satisfied!

Office/lobby is not open 24/7, there is supposed to be a phone located outside in case you need assistance which was broken the entire time, when I went to my room all I could smell we're cigarettes and cigarrette smoke, they gave me another room and it was filthy… there were food prices still on the counter… on the third try I got a room that absolutely reeked of Marijuana. At this point I was looking at other hotels and they were all booked so I had to suffer and deal. I found stains on the bed and also what appeared to be droppings next to the fridge. There were people walking around outside ALL night and it made me feel u easy and unsafe. DO NOT LET THE OUTDIDR PICTURE FOOL YOU! THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING! Will never be back or recommend to even an enemy!

Friendly staff, decent room, and good location. The free Wi-Fi is slow, but will eventually send an email. Overall not a bad place to stay for the price and if you prefer to cook instead of eating out like me, then this place works well.

This is one of the most poorly ran Extended Stay Hotels that I have ever seen around. Their hostess were not around found for anything rooms flee infested, bed bugs.

OMG the room. Smelt awful. The carpets was nasty. My husband saw roaches. The sheets had spots on them, the ceiling in bathroom had some mildew spots. The staff was nice but it's just a room for when you tired and need to lay your head for a night. The cleaning crew is supposively was cleaning the rooms and moving furniture when people are trying to sleep. They can't be cleaning to much because my room was just unspeakable.

If you can't deal with loud music continuously don't invest in the resteraunt side of this building which is the front. They have a great time up until after 12 am. If you're jumpy don't come at all because in the daytime all you hear is the slamming of doors, from guests complaining about the housekeeping to the housekeeping being ignorant to not knowing they shouldn't be heard at all so they're carrying on about that guest and the carts lol they'll run you over. I'll choose Carmichael the next business trip.

I'm very disappointed in this stay. The staff doesn't ask for identification when issuing new keys so I got an unexpected guest barge in my room which could've gotten very ugly if I hadn't been there and my things were missing. I was placed in a room near the elevators so I was thinking the noises and excessive chatter were checking in guests only to see it was their staff's voices carrying in the breezeway which broke my sleep. Very unprofessional. It was like a hangout for them routinely. Last but not least the marijuana smoke from many guests rooms and them standing out in front of their room doors as well smoking it will knock you to your knees if you aren't prepared. Management must tighten up in a major way.

By far the ever hotel I've ever seen in 20 lifetimes. I've been here three days and have not seen not one person cleaning. Sheets stained with I don't know what. I brought this to the attention of the manager and she told me to bring sheets to her and she will wash them for me. Meanwhile, I stay staring at the mattress also stained with I don't know what. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I will never stay here again if I live past today.

Great Hotel, management is second to none. One of the best days I've ever had.

Friendly place, clean rooms with proper supplies, was very comfy overall. Breakfast provided consists of coffee and muffins, etc. Beds were a tinge too firm for our tastes and the pillows were meh, but I'm really having to reach to talk about any cons. A great deal for a good rest during a 10 hour roadtrip. Deducted a star for the weed smell at first, but since it was probably from a neighboring guest I'm sure that wasn't something the establishment could have much control over and it didn't last longer than a few initial minutes.

Booked for one night for a little getaway and ended up booking a second night. The staff was very friendly and the room prices were awesome. I ended up getting sick my second day and the morning staff helped me and suggested medications that I should take with me being a diabetic. I ended up having strep throat I felt awful but I still enjoyed my stay. I will also book them again.

Visiting a friend. Couldn't say much about service since I wasn't staying overnight, but the receptionist was very nice and professional the night we checked in. The room was very cozy and clean, and there are a few good restaurants and other stores located around this hotel, which was very convenient. Overall 5/5 stay.

Extended Stay is located in a great location. Everything you need is within walking distance. Service was always there when you needed it. And they also respect your privacy.

This location is not worthy of the Extended Stay name, I was not satisfied with my stay with issues like gnats rooms, clogged sink during entire stay, notified front desk and no one ever came up. We stayed due to bereavement so it was primarily a storage site for our bags. Random people knocking and try your room door. Removing this location for future visits to the Alabama state.

I was working with two local organizations here in town to assist some Hurricane Irma evacuees with having a place to stay for the night since the shelter closed down. The front desk was helpful and courteous but we had to leave and find a hotel elsewhere to better accommodate all the families we were helping.

The room and bathroom was clean. The bed was comfy and not stained. My only small complaint is that there wasn't any soap of any sort. Of course I had my own.

Overall was a poor experience. Dirty window blinds, old dirty carpet, pretty sure prostitutes were there. The cookware was helpful for the kitchen but the handle to the frying pan was about to fall off and I tightened it with a screwdriver. Hotel is understaffed. I had to wait or return to my room after repeated attempts to get something from the ONE person working the desk. The only benefit is that's it's affordable.

The price is great. Staff was great. They were very nice. What I didnt like was the fact that there were strange acting people walking Round all day and night. The first night I may have forgotten to lock my car doors and someone went in my car. Pulled my stuff out. Stole my Rayban sun glasses. Made me nervous to stay the night. I did report to the stay and she was very nice. I've traveled to many places and I've never had this to happen.

A comedy of errors! The bed was missing the fitted sheet, the bathroom and kitchenette weren't cleaned properly, and the bin was full of trash. The night staff was nice, but that didn't make up for the poor housekeeping and noisy other guests.

Room did not smell fresh. Remote/TV failed. Toilet tilts when sat upon. Guests feel it is OK to wander around outside between the hours of 11 pm to 5 am, have group discussions, or talk for extended amounts of time on their cellphones (on speakerphone mode). Staff was cordial and professional. Maid service did the minimum. I had an enjoyable stay last time.

The Internet sucks a big fat one. Don't even try to pay for the better service. It's a scam!

Everything was clean and everyone was friendly. The only problem was that sometimes no one would be in the office to assist.

Had 3 different rooms over a few weeks, although not perfect, it wasn't bad. Its in a good location, and for the price its tough to beat!

The rooms were nice and clean. The office staff was very friendly. The only issue we had were other guests standing in front of our room talking loudly on their phones, which woke us up.

Go elsewhere, even if it's more money. The room was so dirty, so smelly, the service was horrible. It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Luckily, we didn't have to spend a lot of time in the hotel during the day and only had to endure the horribleness of it at night.

Horrible hotel. My bed sheets had hair on them and they didn't seem to have been changed prior to my check in. I waited 30-40 minutes for the hotel's front desk clerk to finally come to the desk for me to check in when I arrived that night. They only had one person working the shift. Horrible customer service. The tub was also very dirty I put down a plastic bag so my feet would not touch the bottom. They charge you $10 to change you bed sheets and pillow cases. Our none smoking room smelled like a smokes room. Please stay at another establishment. You get what you pay for.

Stayed here for 30 days. Roaches. Huge roaches. Lazy staff. Smell is the worst. Even in the lobby. Rotten bananas. Avoid avoid avoid.

OMG! Stay away! Customer called the front office to notify staff that there were no towels in the room upon arrival. Customer went to front office to get them, and was told to check out instead. Customer asked again for towels and was again told that towels would not be provided, however, checking out was an option. Customer went back to room, and notified the complaint line. 15 minutes later, local police arrived to escort customer off property! Believe it! It happened.

Where do I begin? Worst hotel experience ever! The room was not clean, the sheets and blanket had stains and hair on them. Towels also had hair stuck to them. Their were numerous hairs stuck to the walls in the bathroom and carpet. Overall feel of the room is dirty!. You can hear your neighbor cough or do anything else. When someone shuts a door on your floor the whole room shakes, there is also a lot of noise all night long of people partying and walking from room to room. The customer service is the worst! When visiting the office in the morning for their "grab and go" breakfast (which is muffins and fruit) I greeted the front desk attendant with a smile and goodmorning despite my horrible experiences and wasn't even acknowledged! She just stared at me like I didn't exist! What kind of customer service is that Extended Stay? I was supposed to be staying here for a months time on business. They quickly lost my business and I relocated to another hotel. I even called the corporate office to try and get help. Nothing was done of course.

I had to stay in this DUMP for three weeks. It was easily the worst three weeks of my life. My friends and I dealt with bugs, smells, stains etc. For example: The " maid service" came maybe once. And I think the maid was blind. After continued complaints about multiple stains on the bed sheets, all we got was attitude from the workers. Another complaint would have been the " complimentary breakfast" By the end of the trip you could not have forced me to eat the picked over fruit, granola bars, and muffins. That's to say that there were any left by the time you got there. My friends and I would diligently set an early alarm to wake up when the breakfast started and we were still shorted. The laundry room required you to pay for their service but little did we know they didn't work. No one on staff was pleasant to work with! never stay in this hotel ever becasue you will probably have to deep clense yourself and reavaluate your life.

Unprofessional! Don't stay here! You can make reservations several days in advance, receive email confirmation, and hold the room with a credit card, and you WILL NOT have a room when you check in. I recommend you stay ANYWHERE but here! ".

This is a sub-par hotel. There are much better ones out there, especially since they raised their rates. It's also very noisy outside almost every night. This is a poorer and higher crime rate part of town. Exit 9 is a much cleaner and nicer part of town. Our non-smoking room absorbs the smell of smoke from the rooms adjacent to ours through the bathroom vent. The service is also sub-standard to include the maintenance, cleaning, and management (i stayed here for 8 weeks; a mistake). I regret staying here. NOTE IF YOU'RE MILITARY: rent a furnished apartment somewhere and then use your orders to get out of the lease without penalty using the 'soldiers and sailors act'.
