Every door you walked through had a different unpleasant smell. It was small and dirty. My husband and I would not even allow our toddler to get down out of our arms. The lights for the bathroom would only flicker and go back off. I was by far the worst motel I have ever been in!

Do not stay here. I remember when this was microtel, it was alot better then. I stayed for one night. I was on the third floor. My room was dingy smelling and hot upon arrival. I left for a few hours and when I came back that night there were roaches. At first I though ok 1… 2… but they were everywhere. My sink had a leak that flooded the bathroom every time I washed my hands. I finally had enough and went downstairs and demanded either a new room or a refund. I was given a room on the 1st floor. It was a million times better but I could hardly sleep because I was so traumatized by my first room. I really do believe because I was a young lady checking in alone they assumed I was a prostitute and gave me a roach room because the difference between rooms was shocking. Please, just runaway.

Absolutely the worst place I've ever seen. Filthy, bad odor, burns in the bed linens, nasty carpets and we saw drugs in the hallway. In our room there was a day bed over the ac unit that looked like it had been used as a sacrificial alter. It was 2a. M. And we were just wanting to get a few hours of sleep… wow what a mistake this place was.

This is one of the crappiest run down roach motels in the area, but by golly I love it! That lingering aroma of smoke, the blood stains on the mattress, the sounds of prostitutes getting rammed all night. Such a classy joint with a real gritty, urban, motel feel. Also love the window beds, great for putting on live show with your local street walker at 2:00 in the morning!

Listed as having breakfast, absolutely no breakfast, they have a coffee maker only. Ask the attendant and he was confused. Very poor rooms, stains on sheets, leftover soap from previous customers in shower, very dirty.

Rooms were clean, but not recently updated. The employees were wonderful. The location was ok.

Hi, I spent the night at americas best. From the outside it looks like a decent hotel, but once I steped in the elevator, I realized I made a mistake the scent was like you steped in to a smoking area, the smell was disgusting. Am not sure who manage tjis place wether the owner or but I would advised you to a nonsmoking motel, not peemit smoking in the hotel. Not every one snokes and if you are not a smoker is imposibke to have a good night rest in the place. I told my huaband I would have felt better sleeping in my car. The thing is once you smoke in an inclosed area it gets into every thing rugs, sheets, everything. I was not happy with my stay. As long as the place like that will not have good reviews.

Value is good but no microwave.

Roaches in the room. Ice machine some type of mold or something. Toilet barely flush. Vending machine is overpriced. And phone doesn't work.

If you ever want a good place to stay this is it, they have prostitution and drugs provided by Mr. Eric Casey and Teresa Skinner compliments of the owners, the POLICE are investigating this motel for such actions.

The price for this room on a Friday is honestly not worth it. The outside does not match what the inside looks like. Was expecting a little better. The toilet barely flushed. The bathroom door didn't close. Roaches. The room was extremely small. The pillows were small. Covers and pillow cases were nasty. Prices for a can drink out the vending machine was extremely too much for a can and the condition being the way it was. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to no one. Maybe if you are low on cash and just need somewhere to go for a night. I was just visiting Birmingham and had my daughter was expecting to take a shower. The cleanliness of the room discouraged that.

I really enjoy my self from being out of town the room was straight for the price. Thanks for allowing me to stay.

Very rude owners managers and employees! Nasty rooms with bed bugs! I would feel more clean sleeping outside!

Disgusting. Stains were on the bed/covers and everything else in the room. Only one tiny light worked and was not well lit at all, huge gaping holes where light fixtures should have been. Very unfriendly staff. Was not there 15 minutes and saw more than a handful of roaches IN the room/on the bed. They would not refund our money and we definitely did not stay. If I could give a zero rating I would. I can still feel the roaches crawling on me.

I was a bit suspect when I stayed here the 1st night after reading a lot of bad reviews. I ended up staying a total of 10 nights while my truck was being repaired. The place wasn't noisy, there were no bad smells or pot being smoked, no prostitutes coming or going and no crime dramas being played out, unlike what I read from the reviews. The breakfast was nothing fancy, but considering the price of overnight stays, this was not a bad option for me. Plus, someone mans the front counter all night & security cameras are installed almost everywhere here.

Just your average motel. Nothing wrong with it. Nothing amazing about it. Admittedly more expensive than it should be, but it served its purpose.

I don't recommend this hotel to anyone! The sheets are dirty, there's a hole in the wall inside my room! I just hope I can show what I'm going through! Don't do it! Just try to see your room before you book it! I know it's hard to find good hotel for this price (70$)! I feel like I didn't do my homework!

Upon arrival I knew I was in trouble. The pictures on site IS NOT what is in the building. The guy swiped my card for two days when I told him I would only stay one night. Room was not cleaned so I said I wanted a refund which he refused. I now have to complete paperwork with my bank and wait til Monday to file a complaint with the corporation in Florida. I am disgusted and will NEVER go back nor do I recommend ANYONE to that dump.

The room Is par its clean weird colors but the staff is amazing and also save the until next door has a greats kind of breakfast but don't let them know you're from the Hotel next doornext to te.
