Large clean and quiet room. Great breakfast. When in Auburn a stay here is a must. Little kitchen in room if you want to cook.

Friendly staff, clean, and close to town.

These were probably the rudest people I’ve ever had to deal with. My husband was staying here for work. We have a mini dachshund and a medium sized beagle. They claim that there was complaints about our room smelling bad because of our dogs but no one smelled it in our room, even my husband’s boss came back there and didn’t smell anything. They also told my husband’s boss that we had trash all in our room (we absolutely did not) and basically they wanted us out and he asked them to give him a little bit to try and find another hotel for us. They said they needed to deep clean our carpets and that it was gonna take 3 days to clean our room.
Then, I was in the shower and my dogs were barking so I stepped out and someone was knocking on the door pretty hard and trying to get in. I also had my “Do not disturb” sign on the door. Luckily, I always use the deadbolts when I take a shower and I’m alone so they couldn’t get in. The next day, it was about 7 in the morning and I was sleeping with my dogs. Someone was banging on the door and it scared me so I didn’t want to open it, especially with what happened the previous day AND I was alone. Someone called the phone but by the time I got up, it quit ringing. Then someone came banging on the door again and I called my husband so he could be on the phone with me as I answered the door. When I got him on the phone and started walking towards the door, they’d shut the power off to our room.

Mary at the desk is fabulous. They are starting. Breakfast an hour early for the bikers in Bo Bikes Bama. This is a top notch place!

I have been working on a reservation that was processed incorrectly. Refund was suppose to be back in August. Then upper Manager Ella processed and assured was fixed on 9/11. Tomorrow marks 10 business days and no refund in site. As I type I have been on hold for 1 hour and 36 mins! Marriott just lost a loyal family! ✅ Done!

Property is very new in appearance/upkeep. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Did not sample breakfast offering. Would definitively stay again if in the area.

We only stayed one night, but the rooms were very nice. The beds were comfortable and the room was decorated very well. Everyone was very nice and helpful and the check in and out process was easy.

TownePlace Suites is a very nice hotel to stay a night in. The location is top-notch, with a Starbucks right next to it and a small town center across the street. The rooms and service are always great, too.

Showed up around midnight looking for a room after a long drive. The front desk staff was so kind. She got us a mini suite with two beds, a kitchen with a microwave, apartment size refrigerator and freezer, a dishwasher and two burner stove. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, coffee… the bathroom was spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable and room was quiet. The area was safe, surrounded by a very nice shopping district. Breakfast was included and had a good variety, including fried eggs. The only reason I gave the hotel 4 stars was that the room smelled a little funny. Because it had a kitchen, I can only think that the previous guest had cooked and the smell of the food had permeated the room. It smelled like old spaghetti and meatballs!

Great front desk service. Large, comfortable room with nice amenities. My only complaint was the continental breakfast. The "hot" water was definitely not hot and the food was just cheap and uninteresting. (E. G. Waxy fruit and plain white bagels). The food was better than nothing, but the water was definitely disappointing.

I didn't stay long. The amenities were great though, and the staff seemed friendly enough. And I love how it's tucked in away from the main street so there's lots of room for parking and not too much noise.

This is a pet friendly location with great staff. We stayed here for a weekend while visiting in the Auburn area. The staff was quite helpful and the rooms were in good condition. If you needed a place for a longer stay this location has you covered with basic cookware and space to eat. The extra space is nice if you need to get some work done as I was able to setup and get some work done between outings. This brings me to the Wi-Fi Marriott like most locations provides free throttled connections and paid tiers after that. I found that there was plenty of bandwidth at the time of our visit but the hotel was not at full load so it may struggle if you are there at peak season. The hotel has a Starbucks within walking distance for your caffeine fix. Breakfast was underwhelming both days that we were there with the hot water for tea being tepid at best. Section seemed to be ok with most needs covered (bagels, sausage, etc) but nothing really stood out to me here.

Our hotel room was amazing (1 queen bed + 1 pull out). It was super modern with 2 TVs that both worked. It had a small stove, dishwasher, full-size fridge, and a microwave. The A/C worked extremely well. Everything was clean and organized when we arrived. There were outlets EVERYWHERE! So convenient. The complimentary breakfast was great and they had a laundry room to use. I did not use the pool, but it's there! I also saw that a room was available for individuals that need accommodations (hard-of-hearing /deaf/blind) which I thought was really cool. The staff was super nice. Yeah, it was awesome. I recommend it highly.

Staff is great, but the very friendly housekeeping does odd things. Sometimes they are spectacular, sometimes I come into a warm room because they changed my thermostat or some other odd thing. Mildew (only a little) on the shower curtain, sticky floors from them not diluting the fluid properly, replacing towels that are hung up but not taking the balled up wash cloth on the tub, just odd. I would stay again, but if there was another for the same price, I'd probably try it first.

This location is top notch! Clean and comfortably modern. Ms. Mary provided the best customer service I’ve ever had while on vacation! I cannot thank her enough for her hospitality. She made sure we were comfortable before I could even ask. Will stay here again in the future on our way to Destin from Atlanta! Thanks Ms. Mary! 10 stars!

Supremely clean, nicely furnished, and with a friendly, professional staff. I spend a lot of time in hotels, and wish more could all be like this one. The location is convenient, and parking is ample.

Absolutely amazing!
So very grateful that we were able to check in early. We had been on the road for 8 hours and needed rest. Beds were very comfortable, clean room and just over all great.

I recently stayed overnight here for an Auburn basketball game. It was conveniently located close to the campus. The service was great and the room was much better than expected for the price I paid.

Very nice! Never stayed at an TownPlace Suites — It was great! Clean, ac/heater worked, comfortable bed with large clean shower. Wish it had a tub but the shower was very nice!

This is a lovely, new hotel with an outstanding staff. We chose it because they allowed us to bring our small Sheltie puppy. Upon arrival he was offered a variety of dog treats. The room was clean and comfortable with a separate living area, fully equipped kitchenette, small desk area and two closets. The staff is the very definition of "southern hospitality" — — kind and caring. We highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here before an Auburn football game and the mission was great! The hotel was very clean and the rooms had plenty of space. It is across the street from a J&M bookstore. There was also a Starbucks out front. The breakfast at the hotel was your usual hotel breakfast.

Rooms were clean. Employees did well trying to accommodate our special requests. Hot breakfast was delicious. Rooms were too small. There was nowhere to put our suitcase. It wad impossible to move around after the pullout couch was opened.

For once I didn't have time for a reservation before going to Auburn. It was a last minute travel request and I literally got the last room available. The lady was very nice on the phone. She was able to accommodate me even though the area was mostly sold out due to a conference being held on campus. Other than the friendly staff, the room was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

We arrived as evacuees from South Florida and the staff could not have been any nicer. EVERY single staff member was amazing from the moment we booked 3 rooms. Mary was so very helpful every night and we felt like FAMILY from the moment we arrived. I wanted to move in and have the staff as our neighbors :). Breakfast was a real treat every morning. I am sorry I did not catch the Tall Gentleman's name that worked so very hard to make us feel at home. Rarely have we stayed at a hotel that every detail was well thought out. I love the shower so much that my husband (Mr Wonderful) took pictures and will redo my 1960 Blue bathroom just like yours. :) We would even consider returning to Auburn just to stay at the Suites by Marriott Auburn. FYI its 10 hours away from us. Thank you again for creating your amazing team and facility. The best part was our puppy dogs could stay.

The entire staff was amazing and friendly. The rooms were clean and new looking. We would stay here anytime we are nearby.

We came to stay after we had to evacuate for hurricane Irma. This hotel pulled out all the stops for those evacuating. They took away the pet fee and let any number of animals in. Everyone was so nice and made us all feel so welcome. They even threw a Go Away Irma party that was fun for adults and kids alike! 5 stars!

I am happy when I spend my money well. Staying here was well worth it. I was impressed with the amount of space in my two bedroom suite; its an apartment actually and not an efficiency. I will look for TownePlace Suites in other cities and the brand will certainly be my home away from home going forward.

Best beds, comforters, and pillows! Wonderful breakfast exceptional service and I lived there for a month! Can not praise it enough.

This hotel is one of the nicest I've stayed in in a while! Extremely clean, awesome amenities, and I loved they had music playing upon our arrival in our room. The beds were good, spacious shower, fully stocked kitchenette, & a nice clean pool. It was just a very pleasant overall experience! Highly recommended!

The rooms are very interesting, with a complete kitchenette including stove and dishwasher. It has a nice work desk, sofa, and comfortable queen sized bed. Staff are very friendly.

Located right next to a Starbucks coffee and within short driving distance of central Auburn and stores. Very clean rooms and common areas. Professional and friendly staff. Rooms are kept clean and neat. Was surprised at the closet in the room. Breakfast was nice including variety of cooked eggs, bread, and waffles.

Reserved a handicapped King Suite with pullout at Towneplace Stes at Auburn Alabama from 3/8/17 to 3/10/17 at this facility several weeks prior to our arrival — I then confirmed reservation for same room less than 48 hours prior to our arrival on 3/8/17. When we arrived that evening, Emily the manager had given our room to someone else and they had "upgraded" us to a single Queen bed room which was not a handicapped accessible room. Then they were able to find a King room (Room 302) which again was not handicapped accessible — unfortunately, at that hour and after 8 hours of driving I could not find another facility which I would have done. Firstly, how is this an upgrade and how unprofessional your staff is especially when it comes to handicapped patrons (who also are veterans by the way) and may even be a violation of federal ADA regulations. Furthermore, the lights above the desk did not work, nothing could be plugged into the outlet in the kitchenette (their coffee pot) because they were blocked from behind and the microwave turntable did not set in the microwave and kept sliding out when the door was opened which was located at least a foot above by head and I'm 5'1". I assure your company that when I travel I will avoid Marriott at all costs if possible due to the unprofessionalism displayed and the poor quality/workmanship of your facilities.

When I arrived in my room, the two TVs were turned on extremely loud and the AC was set to an extremely low temperature. It was somewhat of a sensory shock, and I had an uneasy feeling, with the TVs so loud, that I was walking into the wrong room. I spent the next 10 minutes shivering in the room until it was able to warm up. I did not initially realise the AC in the bedroom area was controlled by a different thermostat than the living area, so the room was still extremely cold. Also, there was an extremely loud rattling noise as the bedroom AC continued going non stop all night. I initially called the front desk, but they did not send anyone to look at the unit. Around midnight, I could not sleep, so I went down and I informed the front desk in person, but unfortunately all rooms were full because of a conference. The night attendant was nice and helpful. He then informed me of the secondary thermostat control in the room and I was able to turn the unit off completely.
