A Jem! A lovely place to stay they got great service. Nice and welcoming staff. Very quite and relaxing. Close to all places around. Tramp near by. Small shops and restaurants. Definitely highly recommend :) We stayed in junior suite I'm so pleased it's got little hamam, balcony with table set and a swing.

No complains here. Comfy, situated on the back street of Haga Sofia. Good breakfast. Had a great sleep the time I was there. Ask in advance for airport pickup.

The rooms are small and clean. There was absolutely no view from our room, we were in a lower ground floor with a wall in from of our window. The Wi-Fi was very inconsistent, it kept dropping every few seconds. The signal from the reception and restaurant was better. The breakfast served was very good and the location was excellent. The hotel is right beind the Hagia Sophia.

A good place to stay in Istanbul, short walk to blue mosque, grand bazaar and spice bazaar, public transport is very good in Istanbul, very professional staff. I have no issues, very happy.

Amazing hotel with awesome staff. Very central. Staying there means you don't have to spend in taxis. You can just walk to everywhere you want.

Ottoman is an excellent place firstly because of its location. It’s located right next to the Hagia Sophia mosque which is a tourist attraction. Blue mosque, topkapi palace are at walking distance. Tram station is just next to the hotel. Connectivity is superb. Staff at the hotel is also good. Food quality is very nice. Overall a very nice place to live.

Very nice place, next to Aya Sofia, almost in its back yard. Everything "historical" is placed nearby. Cozy rooms, nice staff, not too expensive.

The best thing is the location from my window I saw Hagia Sophia otherwise all right.

Firstly, the good points. The staff are almost all impeccably polite, friendly, helpful and thoughtful. Without them, the stay would have been one star less. Also, the location is excellent, with most of the main historical attractions within walking distance or a short tram ride away. Unfortunately, however, the hotel is let down by the fact that the walls are paper thin, and everything around and above you (if you're not on the top floor) can be heard. Guests walking about, slamming doors, staff walking around or cleaning etc, it's all far too noisy. I ended up barely sleeping, which meant far less energy to enjoy everything else Istanbul has to offer, which is plenty. The breakfast buffet is nothing to scream and shout about either, but it's passable.

Ottoman Imperial Hotel is amazing special category hotel. The hotel is located in old city next to Saint Sophia museum. Hotel comfort is great. Facilities are high quality… Recommended.

The most: the location, the room and the room. The restaurant is good.
Cons: the elevator, organizational problem. The hotel wants to be a luxury hotel with a luxury price, but are not given the means.

We were two friends travelling to Istanbul in May 2016 and as we prefer small Boutique Hotels with character we were very lucky to choose Ottoman Hotel Imperial. It is a small, charming Hotel and I got a room overlooking the Hagia Sophia and in the night when the lights came on the place was magical. The location is simply marvelous with all the Historic sights like Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar within walking distance… lots of lovely Turkish Restaurants offering delicious Mezze and a nearby street filled with interesting Cafes to spend an evening over Haki. As we were two women travelling we felt very safe as it is high security area. The Tram stations are close-by and we could zip to Kadikoy, Galata Tower & other areas. It is away from the main road and I would recommend it to travellers who like to be in the Historic part of Istanbul with cobblestone roads and old world charm! The Premier Sultan room was comfortable, clean and the housekeeping was good. The Toilet was good size… but as the tub is rather high they could consider putting a more solid step to get in, a non-slip mat in the tub & a hand-rod nearby. They should definitely consider getting a Trolley to carry the suitcases from the road to the Hotel as it is a long distance and damages the wheels. The Staff were pleasant and Handan & Serhat were very helpful, informative and always cheerful.

Great location, right beside the Hagia Sofia! The service was good but the heating in one of the single rooms didn't work.

Superb location, Quiet, Lift carries 3 w luggage, **Marvelous restaurant** with historic recipes on menu, fresh diverse breakfast buffet, attentive staff, clean attractive room &shower, wired laptop in lobby + each area's Wi-Fi easily joined. I'm usually cheaper but well WORTH IT!

This is a hotel worth booking. We had a large room (306) overlooking the Aya Sofia mosque, wonderful. The general standard of hotels in Istanbul seems to be poor with some grotty areas so be very careful booking others. We had a bad experience of another hotel with high ratings, so beware! Thank you to all the very obliging staff here we really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing hotel, clean, elegant and quiet. Unbeatable location, 2 minuets to Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. Professional, friendly and extremely helpful stuff. Between Erhan at reception and Serhat (Guest relations) you will never feel lost, since they will help and organize all your requests and needs. The restaurant Matbah is beautiful and offers amazing food to very very fair prices. One of my best travel experience ever.

The location couldn't be better, just a few blocks from Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque, and Hagia Sophia. The hotel is clean and modern, with comfortable rooms. Breakfast (included with my room) was delicious and will quickly convince you that strong coffee, feta cheese and olives are a perfect way to start the day.
