Nice guy but the clothes were over-priced.

Twice my guests from the US stayed at Boutique Saint Sophie (Nov 2018, April 2019) and were grateful for their experience. Courteous staff, relaxing ambiance, luxurious rooms, delicious breakfasts… On top of all that, this hotel is literally at the heart of Old Istanbul. You walk a minute to reach Hagia Sophia. One minute in the opposite direction takes you to Basilica Cistern. If you walk down the street for 30 seconds, you have cute shops and best authentic restaurants where you can watch a lady bake you delicious flatbread called “gözleme”. You do not want to take a cab to see more of Istanbul? Fine! Walk further down that street and you are by the sea side in less than 10 minutes and have access to different transportation options such as ferries, buses, and subway/metro. Plus the staff guides you to ensure you will have a thorough and high-quality Istanbul experience. Stay at this hotel; I know you will have a very pleasant visit.

This place is in line with all you want to see in Istanbul! 2 minute walk to Hagia Sophia and the blue mosque. From there is is 5 minutes to other main attractions and 15 minute walk to Grand Bizarre!

A brilliant hotel right in the heart of Sultan Ahmet! Brilliant staff who are very helpful. I had the best experience I could have wished for!

Excellent location, almost a wall in the wall with "Sofia" on the other hand is a good park with fountains. Opposite the Basilica Tank. The staff are friendly and caring, will fulfill any whim. Comfortable. The rooms are clean, with good soundproofing. There is a Russian Channel 1. Needless to eat slippers, robes, and a whole set of toiletries. Each room has a capsule coffee machine. There is no minibar in the room, there is a normal bar at the reception. Breakfast, semi buffet. Desserts and light cold/hot snacks on the common table, the main course is ordered by the waiter. Breakfast takes place under light live music, on the harp plays a lovely brunette.
They didn't find it right away. The price is above average. I didn't immediately get the air conditioning. To get hot water in the shower you have to wait for the leak, apparently connected with the general boiler on the hotel. Wi-Fi is slow, coverage is limited. Not enough sockets in the room, will have to turn something off to charge the gadget, if there are more than one.

Absolutely perfectly located to take in Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern and the Blue Mosque. The staff is lovely and could not be more hospitable. There are piles of great local budget friendly restaurants nearby as well as fancier touristy fair, delicious all of them. Choose whatever makes your heart happy and enjoy. Istanbul is FABULOUS!

They don't speak Russian but the staff are super.

One of the first and best experiences I had in Istanbul. All staff very helpful friendly. Room excellent. Breakfast lovely.

We spent 5 nights here from 15th-20th April. I used to live in Istanbul and have been many times, so we wanted to stay somewhere very central! This was the perfect location! We had the most wonderful time and the staff were so kind and friendly and always willing to help. It was lovely and quiet and such a short walk from anywhere we wanted to go. Lokman who worked on reception gave exceptional service as did all of the staff! We would definitely recommend it and come and stay here again! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

Very cozy hotel and friendly staff. The location is in the heart of fatih area, everything you would want is close by. I'm planning to stay at it in every visit to istanbul. Special thanks to Nebi, he helped a lot and was very polite and professional.

Rooms are warm and comfortable, staff friendly and courteous, breakfast rich and delicious, convenient transportation, near Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, underground palace and other places, from the light rail station about 5 minutes.

Great location as it is close to the main sights of Istanbul. Staff are very helpfull and professional. Great breakfast and the rooms are great as well.

Great hotel in perfect location for a short trip to Istanbul. Lovely hotel perfectly located in the old town of Istanbul. Very clean and nicely decorated. Very friendly and helpful staff. We used the free bikes on our last day which was a great way to explore around even more! The only downside was the noise coming from outside as our room was on the street side.

I would have given 4.5 stars if that was an option. Very cozy hotel. Excellent location. Clean. Very friendly staff. Some reviews had complaints about thin walls — that wasn't our experience at all. I could at times hear people (mostly housekeeping) outside my door. But never at night or early mornings, and not once did I hear other guests in their rooms. The street is pretty noisy due to location, but again, wasn't an issue for us as it gets pretty quiet at night. Breakfast was decent, nothing amazingly delicious, but sufficient to last you thru lunch. They serve good coffee which is important to me. Note that because of the location of the hotel there is no traffic allowed on the street between 6am and 8pm, so if you're arriving during the day you'll have to carry your bags for a couple blocks. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because: 1) breakfast could have used some variety, 2) guests pick-up from the taxi could have been arranged better (they sent 2 young girls to help us with our bags — I didn't have it in my heart to let a girl carry my oversized luggage uphill so I had to lug it myself), 3) there should have been a clear warning about the traffic situation; 4) lastly the lobby was over air-freshened.

I really enjoyed it! It was super pretty.

Wonderful location, super-friendly staff and a small personal hotel which is immaculately clean. It is in a car-free zone so the taxi to the hotel might need the telephone number to drop you nearby — the bell boy will come and fetch you for the short walk. There are loads of restaurants around serving wonderful local food. I will definitely be back for a spot of tourism and shopping. This is a happy place!

This beautiful hotel tucked away on the side of the Hagia Sophia is great value. You are central to most of the big attractions in Istanbul. The rooms are modern and the hotel decor is wonderful. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel and I plan on coming back whenever I am in town.

This small boutique hotel at the sultanhet is a cozy place to stay with decent interiors and courtious and very helpful staff. Location is nearest to the blue mosque and top capi musium. I stayed for three nights. Also enjoyed the free bicycles. I would recommend this to honeymoon couples and people with a taste for boutique hotels.

All the details are very good, starting from the waiter will be able to appreciate the details of the Department, such as rooms, reception, breakfast and location. The four friends, enjoyed staying at this hotel. Its location is very good and would only need to walk to some of the landmarks location. Public transport is nearby, very convenient. Very friendly staff, always ready to help you.

A very very nice and personal newly renovated hotel, smart rooms, central locations with walking to everything within minutes. Breakfast in a personal and tasteful way. Bar open with good service until late. Try it, you wont be disappointed.

Perfect location, perfect staff, perfect istanbul.

Hotel is in the heart of Istanbul, very close to Haghia Sophia, Sultan Ahmet Mosque and Topkapi palace. However, most of the taxi drivers don't know where it's situated, so hotel administrator should be asked for pick up. Rooms in the first floor aren't good, even one them has no windows to the street and it's windows look right to the brick wall. Rooms are very small, bath is very small and there is lack of light inside there. Breakfast is poor, I found nothing tasty in 2 days there. However, staff is very good and better than in many other hotels. In sum, I'd stay there for 40 euro, but not for 84.
