Very nice hotel… Kind people and a beautiful vieuw at the sea and a very huge breakfast… .

We had the pleasure to stay at Hotel Buhara Family Inn for 3 nights. Perfect location Just behind the Main Street In the Sultanahmet area. The staff Stsasia & Jassu were so helpful. The best breakfast spread, all home made by our hostess. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Had a great stay, close to everything and breakfast was out of this world!

Super friendly, super helpful, they even offered me some of their own homemade cooking when I came in late one evening. Great for a person travelling on their own, single rooms with decent light, a small but cool bathroom and a comfortable bed at a decent price are rare.

Rooms are not very big, but there is absolutely everything in them that is necessary. Cleanliness is top notch, and the breakfast… Unbelievable — rich and tasty. Also, the staff is friendly and always around. Having in mind the location of a hotel, I would say that it's fantastic for the travelers who do not want luxurious accommodation.

The hotel gives you this warm, cosy feeling. Great location, easy access… but most of all I like the staff the best. They welcome you, have the famous Turkish hospitality, and also, the food cooked by Adalet Hanım, is just delicious.

Cozy hotel in perfect location to enjoy and feel the charms of historical Istanbul. With a map and directions from hotel staff, a short afternoon walk in the neighborhood brought me to the Sultanahmet and to the sealine. Above all, amazingly hospitable family and a delicious homemade breakfast to taste Turkish traditions — my stomach had a wonderful time trying to keep up with all the choices. A favorite was a home-baked pastry with poppy seed paste, and a fig jam made from a neighbor's figs! So good. Not to mention the view! Just the place I needed, offering the best of a vacation.

We spent a very good time and stay in Buhara's hotel. Ozlem, who perfectly speaks French gave us good tips about the City, the areas to discover, the food to taste… And the view from the panoramic terrace (where we had nice "Kahvalti", breakfast cooked by Ozlem's mother) is just amazing: the marmara sea, the Blue mosque, Saint-Sophie basilica… Thank you again Ozlem and your familly.

We had been more than welcomed by the owners of this hotel located in the center of Sultanahmet. We were invited the first evening of ramadan and the dinner was delicious. Bonus : the view on the Bosphorus from the rooftop which is awesome.

Cosy and personal family-run hotel, had a good time drinking turkish tea out on the porch with family learning about istanbul. Traditional breakfast with a full view of bosphorus on sunny terrace — superb.

Great experience. Friendly staff, good authentic Turkish breakfast with the good smell of Turkish coffee every morning :) Located in the old city area — near the Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia — a very interesting part of Istanbul.

I stayed there for a week, I really liked this hotel, the hosts are super nice and the food is good. It is also very well located and quiet. I recommend it :)

Wonderful homelike hotel! Rooms and terrace with lovely view over the Marmara, great and very tasty breakfast, fantastic central location but on a quiet street and very helpful staff.

They mislead clients! chose family inn and the booked us in buhara hotel with horrible result. Do not recommend.!

Excellent! Great place, Our rooms were small but nice and clean, with ensuite showers. Great location, only a stroll away from the Blue Mosque, which is also close to Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace, and Sultanahmet Tramway Station. Great people, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. You feel as if it was your home in Istanbul. Oh I almost forgot… great Turkish breakfast! :)

We were looking for a quiet place to stay in Istanbul near the touristy things to do. This small inn fit the bill. You can see the Blue Mosque from the rooftop terrace along with the sea, and it is within walking distance of many museums, the Blue Mosque, Hagai Sophia, the Grand Bazaar (a bit far but not a bad walk) and public transportation. Best of all it was in a quiet neighborhood and the staff was wonderful. The front desk attendant was very friendly and helpful in giving us directions and tips for things to do. You might have a hard time finding the place on you own but a taxi will bring you to the front door and from there it was a dream stay in Istanbul.

A nice small family run hotel. Small cozy rooms, friendly hosts. No Star frills and everything in place.
