Excellent staff. Very attentive and willing to help. The room was super comfortable. The hotel is in an excellent area close to everything and also have a fairly complete breakfast. Excellent stay!

Very clean, cosy, perfect location near historical places, Saba is very welcoming and friendly.

We were there for six days. During those six days, we only got house keeping twice. Whenever we requested house keeping, the manager would give excuses like “today they are off” or “today they are at a different hotel”.
The manager is very rude and non — accommodative.
We had to request toilet paper every single day at the front desk and would only get one role a day for a family of five. We ended up having to purchase tissues, paper towels, and toilet paper from a convenience store.
We requested an extra blanket and pillow on the first night and after hearing excuse after excuse, got it three days later.
One day, the manager was waiting for us when we came back after a long day. He stopped us on our way up to the rooms and complained that one of the towels the kids used was dirty (as they get dirty after normal use) and told us he would have to charge us for it if we didn’t get it cleaned ourselves. I took the towel and simple soaked it in water and nothing else. After soaking it, the towel became clean. This hassle on our vacation could have easily been avoided if the manager was not so cheap and just sent the towel to get washed in the laundry.
Overall, a very horrible stay and would never recommend.

I'll bet a sure 3 out of 5. Still for this money would like more — a very small simple number and very weak sound insulation. The pressure in the shower is very very weak. Breakfasts are good, but end quickly and after 10 you can already get on the leftovers. Not a bad porch on the roof. Getting from the Blue Mosque is convenient on foot — that's a plus.

Excellent location. Very easy to access all the landmarks of Istanbul, Grand Bazar everything. Lovely streetside restaurants all around. Staffs, Ismail, Senior and Ismail, Junior are excellent, polite and helpful. The owner Saba is charming as well. Lovely view of Bhosphorous from the room.

Smole rooms, very very smole bathroom and shower… breakfast in the Reception، not just aslo there is too Buildings in the hotel and one of them is without a elevator!

Good hotel and breakfast in the centre of sultan Ahmet region. Only a bit too noisy (surrounding) in the evening. Very nice host and very helpful.

Great little Hotel. Good room. We stayed in a 3-bed room and in the economy room on the 0 floor. Everything is clean, there is a Russian-speaking staff-mother and son from Georgia. Breakfast was good. The location was great and the hotel was clean. It can be said quietly, given the presence of mosques on the square. The meter has its own peculiarities, but was perceived normally, not irritated. Would go back to this hotel.

Very nice hotel with a perfect location. Staff is eager to help. The knowledge in English is limited among some of the staff members but this is made up by their willing to help out.

I came back from this hotel yesterday. I don't think I'm ever going back. Housekeeping in four days never made them, except empty the baskets. The location was good because it is literally two steps from Sultanahmet. Friendly staff But it depends who you found (in other hotels in Istanbul I found it moltoo better). We asked to change the room as they shipped us to another establishment and they said no. Breakfast good but repetitive and not so rich. The hotel has several establishments where there is no reception and you have to get out of the establishment and get to the main property to go for breakfast because in the other buildings you are isolated and you have nothing.
Two stars.

We came very early (0800am). Checking time was 1400 hrs. But they gave us the room and offers us breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Prime location. Many attractions are walking distance. Private roof terrace facing beach.

Lovely, cozy home hotel. I have only the best memories with him! Location is just amazing, just 2 minutes and you're already at the racetrack, 4 minutes and you're already in the mosque. The room is clean and cozy. Nothing.

I spent 3 nights there. The tightness of the toilet was not appealing. Very close to main attractions in the old city of Istanbul.

Comfortable but lighting is poor. Bit dull. Bathroom has a constant smell.

The Hotel is just wonderful. The staff was very Friendly and helpful. And of course close to all the sights.
If you are planning a trip to Istanbul then choose this place.

Value for money. It should not be compared with proper hotels rather paying guest facility at great price and most importantly near many attractions.

Hotel with excellent location, and pretty well priced, has the tram station, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, plus other sites of interest, by quality price is worth it.

Location is very good but the standard of accommodation was below standard. The apartment was poorly equipped and really in need of refurbishing. The sheets were torn and although superficially clean, the whole apartment was scruffy. There was a kettle and a fridge but no microwave or crockery so very difficult with young children. The stairs were very steep. I did see the rooms in the hotel itself as this was an annexe. The Wi-Fi was very poor.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Recommend!

Terrace is nice, feels very cozy. Has an old timey feel whilst still having great service and basic necessities.

Very good place visited here with my family last week for a week away. Staff very helpful and friendly always happy to assist with directions and places to go. Would definitely return to this establishmentt.

After spending four nights at the Hotel Saba Sultan, my friend and I agreed that we made a very good choice of places to stay. We felt at home in old Istanbul. The hotel's location is excellent, it is relatively new, facilities are modern and comfortable, and the staff is always helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were good, with several choices of food, eggs cooked to order, and service-oriented staff. Although it was unseasonably cold the week we visited Istanbul, we made use of the roof terrace a few times. We originally booked a Bosphorus view room, but it was too tiny and we asked to move the next morning. Our request was graciously accommodated, and our new room was fine. The bathroom was modern and the shower was large enough to move around in. Reviews I read mentioned lack of amenities, so I was prepared. But, my friend realized that there is a drawer under the sink, above the cupboard doors. I think we are so used to fixed panels (false drawer front panels) below sinks that many of us don't even try to open them. The drawer was very well stocked with all bathroom amenities! As two American women with a complicated travel agenda, we needed a larger closet than the tiny armoire in the rooms. The hotel could relieve this problem by hanging well placed hooks in the room and bathroom for added places to put clothing and towels. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the people we encountered, in this lovely, small hotel in Sultanahmet.

We loved this hotel and would recommend it highly. Very quiet at night and in a small side street but very close to all the sights in the old town. The staff are really friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The beds were comfortable and we had a balcony in our room. There was a small patio area where you could eat breakfast outdoors and a roof terrace with an amazing view of the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia. At tea time the staff put out free drinks and pastries in the reception area. There wasn't much storage space for clothes in the room and it would have been nice to have had a full-length mirror but these are small things compared to the overall very positive experience we had.

We stayed for 5 nights in this hotel, located in the Sultanahmet District 5 mn walk from the Blue Mosque, St Sophie, the Topkabi Palace and tram… The staff is charming, smiling helpful, the room is spacious and comfortable. Cleaning Service every day (change sheets and towels), breakfast is varied.
We keep a great memory of this hotel and its staff. We will return without hesitation.

Well located in sultan ahmet and tourist aya sofia, in the heart of the place.

Istanbul is a wonderful city dont spoil it by staying here. On early arrival we found hotel staff SLEEPING in the reception area. They acually smelt. Embarrassing. Bed bugs. Hotel VERY worn looking. Very dark and dingy. If trying to impress someone dont bring them here. Smells musky and dusty. Staff were awful. Was like a chore for them when you made a request. Worst breakfast ever. Try little cafe round corner. Good location though.

Hotel pulls on one star. There is no breakfast, no kettle. Room very small, no kitchen. Smoke only outdoors.

Nice rooms, decent breakfast, and good location. Ac works good and I can actually get a few TV channels here. Wifi works great also.

Recommended hotel. At the corner of the hippodrome, it is very close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia.
