Very friendly staff and cleanliness. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The view from the terrace *breakfast/dinner* is breathtaking. The hotel is so perfectly located that all the main attractions are within walking distance. Otherwise tram!

With al respect to all staff and hotel but my experience was bad with deluxe hotel. The room was very tight, you are not able to move and fix your stuff and the room look very old, ac wad bad not cold, no slippers, there is no shower gel in hotel despite I requested several time, … Its a 4 star hotel but it dose not worth it and they are not clean very well the room… etc The staff reception was not proceestional. When asked him if there is a shower in the gym he answered he does not know! I request from him to provide us with charger adapter he responsed ok I will buy it for you and charge you… But for sorry he did not provide anything… In addition they blocked my room access card before the check out in one night, when I aksed them why you did this they said because your checking out tomorrrow! Very strange service and even not proceestional… Thank you.

This is really good hotel with high quality service. Attraction like Ayyasofia, Grand Bazaar, Blue Mousque are near to hotel. This is one of the best hotel I've ever seen! Recommend for everyone!

Best views in the city from terrace. We went with the recommended mix kebabs platter and it was very good! The service was immaculate. Overall a wonderful experience.

Excellent hotel. The decor is beautiful, the view from the rooms and the terrace even more. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the receptionist was very friendly. Cleanliness a luxury. The location is strategically very good.
Breakfast is acceptable, it is rare that to order squeezed juice or coffee of "better quality" to be paid apart, but it is the only thing. The dinner at the hotel is fabulous and its waiters are the best. Attention, I insist, highlights. Lots of hospitality on the part of the hotel people.

We had a room with a beautiful view over the blue mosque. Also the restaurant where they serve breakfast has a balcony with the view of both mosques. Great location, good service, the rooms are a bit small but pretty and the beds were comfortable. Close to the Bazaar as well. I used the hotels laundry service and it was quick and good for a fair price.

Location and view TOP the rest … I’ve just moved out of this hotel to Seven Hills Hotel in the same area and I am extremely happy about this choice. The Deluxe Golden Horn hotel has a great location and views, especially the restaurant with the fantastic view over the blue mosque. Nonetheless the staff members during daytime are not professional at all and not even friendly. Mostly they are busy with their smartphones, don’t pay attention to guests and once they just hang up the phone after I asked to clean the room without saying goodbye. The guys we met when we checked in at midnight were brilliant. Professional, friendly, attentive and helpful. The Mattress in the room was very hard but balcony and facilities brilliant. One more thing I have to mention. When we checked out no one even offered help with the luggage, not that I’m not capable of managing that but compared to the new hotel Seven Hills the staff at the deluxe golden horn hotel just have no clue about customer service.

I was there in December, great hotel the location is top. Everything within a few minutes walking distance. Bazaar is 5 mins away as well as many other attractions.
A small minus to the food, it could be offered something new for breakfast, rather than always the same.
Not every taxi driver knows this hotel but really recommend it!
For my next trip to Istanbul I will book again here.

The hotel is located in a great location, within walking distance of the historic sights. Wonderful view from the terrace to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The hotel positioned itself as 4 stars, but the level of service and quality of cleaning barely pulls on three, unfortunately.

Very comfortable. Stylish. The view from the window. Wi-Fi in the room. On the 1st floor you can enjoy tea, coffee, on the top floor of the restaurant. The view is amazing.

This is the worse 4 stars hotel ever! Rude staff! The hotel is a working area and they use drilling machine all day long. So forget a nap time! The elevator did not work a hole day! My room was at the six floor! What can I say… nice! Dirty bathroom! Parking space is not available all day. If one employee is not in a good mood… bye bye parking space. And a lot of other bad things! We stay in Istanbul at a 3* hotel and compared with this one it was a 5* hotel!

Great location and service. Breakfast is included but quite average. You have to pay extra for fresh orange juice and Turkish coffee. Rooms are very clean!

Great location close to the main tram stops & to touristic places. The breakfast is good but nothing special about it. The view from the terrace is lovely. Avoid standard rooms if you can coz they’re really small. But the rooms on top r good especially the suite.

Lovely place with exquisite rooms and lovely staff. Loved it and would love to come again. The view from our room was lovely… the blue mosque could be seen and it looked absolutely stunning when the sun rises.

Nice Hotel in a quiet street and a few meters from the tram. The breakfast is spectacular with stunning views of the mosques. The room is a little small, the bathroom too. The staff at the hotel are very nice and always attentive to the passenger. I recommend this hotel.

The best thing about the place is the view from the breakfast restaurant and the location. Worst thing is the rooms in the first floor. The room was very small with low ceiling and we could not change it till the next day.

Nice cozy hotel overlooking the main sights of Istanbul. Do not miss the morning, afternoon and evening views. It's worth it. Breakfast was good. Overall, I think there are 3 stars, strong and honest, and the fourth is given for an extremely good location.

The hotel is absolute fantastic and the personal is very welcoming. My room was amazing! I had a suit room on the top floor and the highlight was the absolute breathtaking view of the Bosporus and Hagia Sophia from my balcony. The sound proofing in the room was excellent. Comfortable bed. Bathroom and facilities were really good. Reception was efficient and never too busy. Finally got what I paid and such a great value for money and even more, plus I got an update on the room as well. The view, the room, the breakfast was fantastic. Enjoyed the sunrise and just beautiful to look out on the Blue Mosque and sea from the rooftop terrace while having breakfast or a drink. It couldn't be better. I was so satisfied with everything! This was the best choice I made for a last minute trip to Istanbul. Perfect location. There is no better hotel in Sultanahmet then Golden Horn. I would give more then 5 star for Golden Horn.

Nice hotel. Good location. Everything is close by. And the views from the room to the Blue Mosque and Al Sophia? And the views from the restaurant on the roof? Priceless! Room in Turkish rather than European style, specially chosen such an atmospheric hotel. Breakfast, as usual, is enough. The famous pastries have not even tasted. The bathroom also has everything you need. The staff met and settled perfectly, but the Russian do not know. Would recommend to friends!

Might be not the cleanest place, but a good service, diverse breakfast, friendly staff and terrific view. You can sit just there with coffee for a long time. I would probably stay here next time.

Breakfast is very poor, cleaning is accaptable, but very nice view area and very cooporative team, in general I recommend the hotel for area, vies and resnable price.

Excellent service, very tasty breakfasts on the top floor on the terrace overlooking the Blue Mosque, Ayia Sophia and the Bosphorus. The interior decoration is just gorgeous! The rooms are really small and very lacking at least a small table with chairs. Because otherwise you have to sit on the bed. Good location. On my next visit I will stay only in this hotel!

Ask for room with blue mosque view, the breakfast in the rooftop is simply amazing.

Pro: Best place for Muslims who want a hotel that they don't have to worry about anything, mainly food. Hotel doesn't sell wine or beer. There a quaran in room. Quality of food, better then outside restaurants food. Staff are helpful and polite Location of hotel. Everything is walking distance. Room is big Con: Wi-Fi poor and so slow. Non English channel. Only Turkey channel. Shower is so tiny.

After a long flight of 12 hours and a long research about hotels in Istanbul (they have thousands of hotels in the city), I came across with Deluxe Golden Horn Hotel. Website is pretty clean and photos are so inviting. I thought I was making a good decision when I booked this hotel, but as soon as I arrived I was welcomed by a rude and very mean staff at the reception. The room he gave to me truly had a view… to the trash can and a dark street in the back of the building, 1st floor. It was so little that I could barely move in — I am a petite woman 105 pounds in a 5.1'. If that was not bad enough, as soon as I get in the bathroom I almost passed out… mold everywhere and the smell was so bad that I had headache right away. When tried to communicate my concerns with the "rude gentleman" in the circulation desk, I was told that there was nothing that they could do about it… maybe tomorrow, he said. Well, I was not happy about it and I said: "No, I am not spending one night in this place. I am already sick". Then, he suddenly changed his first version that there were not rooms available and suggested to get me to another room (the only one available, he stressed). So, without any choice, tired, with headache, and desperate I accepted this other as bad as the first one room, facing the street, noisy, and with a big glass window with no privacy. It was the most horrible hotel experience of my life.

If you are on a limited budget but looking for a "decent" place to stay, especially close to Hagia Sophia and other attractions in the Sultanahmet district, then this is the hotel for you. The hotel is pretty old, the rooms are not very spacious, and the breakfast isn't something special. However, the staff is nice and the service level is acceptable.
