Amazing staff. They are honest, helpful and great fun to be with. They actually suggested me to book for one day instead of two because I am not staying the second night and then leave the luggage in a safety box free of charge. I mean who does that to a tourist?! That won me over instantly. They also have a great rooftop balcony where me and some fellows stayed up the whole night with the staff joining in occasionally. It was more than I ever expected.

The best hostel ever with amazing location, which is close to Blue mosque, Hagi sophia and tram station. Thanks to friendly staff!

Fantastic atmosphere and very helpful staff, who planned most of our trip around Turkey! Very close to fantastic bars and restaurants aswell as the highlights of Istanbul. Highly recommended for first time or veteran travellers looking to get the most out of Istanbul and Turkey.

Amazing facility with an excellent and attentive staff. Has a great sense of community and atmosphere as well which is everything you can ask for in a hostel. Other perks include the rooftop terrace and perfect location for sightseeing. Daniel at the front is also great and a wealth of knowledge about the area.

Cheap accomodation with everything you need for your stay in Istanbul. Big lockers, great beds and rooms. Breakfast was fine. I can only recommend.

Overall great experience, staid for over 12 nights. I’d say the biggest advantage is the rims are larger than many hotels it’s a queen bed and a single bed in most rooms! So it it’s 2 of persons you will not feel “over squeezed”.

Hostel itself is okay in my opinion but I had good time meeting some nice people. View from the terrace is beautiful.

It's a overrated place. No doubt the place is good but you can find cheaper places near by and of the same quality.

Great hostel in the touristic center! Clean, quiet, with a great rooftop I had to leave before breakfast time because of my flight, but the staff gave me a breakfast pack! I recommand it!

Perfectly located, the Big Apple Hotel/Hostel offers all you need to discover the beautiful city of Istanbul. The breakfast is served in the rooftop terrace with a lovely view of the the Bosporus. But what I liked the most is the amazing people who work at the hotel: they have been all so kind and helpful that made me feel like an old time friend. I couldn't recommend more!

Very attentive staff. The rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast has few variants as e. G. There is no single juice water or hot tea.

Very cute and quaint.

Rooms were decent. The beds had little individual curtains to block out light which was interesting but nice. They had free breakfast upstairs and it had a nice view of the harbor. The staff was helpful, but I would say not very personable people.

Best hostel. I feel myself like at home. Friendly staff, nice terrace on the top for breakfast and more, good beds and fresh pillows, quickly Wi-Fi. I m sure — your holiday will be wonderful here =)

Its awesome neat clean secure centrally located matches budgr.

Staff are hopeless. The dorm rooms smell, lack security measures and there is only one shower and bathroom for a 14 person dorm. That is if the staff don't lose your reservation.
