My particular stay is stress free. My room had an electrical issue to where if I turned on the mini coffee machine the lights would go out! Maintenance was thorough in fixing the issue being that I loved my room location. Also, coming from the US I was accustomed to using and bringing along my cell phone charger but the power outlets are not the same. The prongs are made round and not square so the front desk had maintenance literally go and shop for me a phone charger that would work for my phone. I thought that was nice of them. The complimentary breakfast is ready for buffet at 7:30am and the dinner is at 10:30pm. Beautiful outside view if you want to eat outside "WATCH THE CROWS"! They will steal your food as they wait for you to go to the buffet. All and all my stay is was very comfortable and I appreciate they're friendly service to me.

Its a good option for someone who's planing on spending a good vacation being mostly out exploring, cz it's reasonably priced. You can't expect anything fancy, but it's clean and the staff are really nice and helpful, especially the manager, which makes everything alot more comfortable and pleasant. Rooms are small, we had to move to another room to be more comfortable which was ok since it wasn't a huge price difference. Breakfast isn't great, it is a bit messy, not very vegetarian friendly, but they do have options and it was fresh everyday which is good. Room service was yummy, big portions and alot of optionsas well. We tried the Alfredo Pasta, and the veggie quesadillas and a salad, everything was good. I'd say give it a try cause the location is great, right behind the mid of istiklal street, 5min walk to buses and train.

Troya Hotel has made for a great stay so far, with very nice and comfortable rooms. Elevator doesn't work sometimes though, but otherwise I'm happy.

Troya is located near to the Istiklal street. Rooms are smaller in sizes. But, I would still like to rate them 5/5. Rooms are equipped with touch screen buttons. Troya host live music night + bellydance on the roof. You can catch a glimpse of Golden horn from the roof.

Friday night and Saturday assembled a feast on the terrace, listening to a lot in the 7th floor, making it difficult to sleep. Otherwise, all was correct.

The location of the hotel is very good. Once around the corner and already you are on the Istiklal Caddesi. And it went up to Taksim. Very nice staff and clean rooms. With 3 beds in one room the space is a bit small, but you get used to it and it's not that bad. Breakfast is served on the top of the terrace every day with a great view of the city.
The only thing I would complain about is that every day there is the same thing for breakfast. However, the offered breakfast is delicious and fresh. In addition to various breads, there are also cheeses, jam, egg, sausage, Nutella, Kellogs, tea and coffee.
Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my stay & they serve great breakfast one thing I didn’t like it’s small rooms besides that I really liked it.

Price and quality ratio! Would.

Not Good. Typical Inner City Hotel. But overpriced. Carpets are very dirty, stained. Only one elevator in whole building of 8 stories. Lights in my room did not work, toilet seat broken, extremely noisy from City Center and from loud club on top level 8 floor. I will not stay here again.

Terrible hotel. Noisy! Walls and floor are not insulated, as such you can hear every time someone showers or flushes the toilet. Additionally to this, the hotel restaurant has music playing until 1:30am every Thursday to Sunday! Also, lot's of the guests smoke, making it very unpleasant. Best to find a better hotel!

Was told it to be a 4 star hotel; but it isn’t. My experience in Turkey from hotel, taxi, restaurant all are not okay. Must be careful as a tourist.

The worst customer service, especially the rude syrian guy at the front desk in the reception. The rooms are so tiny and you definately don’t get what you pay for. I dreaded every night I spent there.

It is exactly what it says a 4 star hotel. Very nice and has tons of perks but little things prevent it from reaching 5 stars. There are often things not fully working (lift buttons and the spa was not working throughout my 2 day stay). However the staff are very friendly and the hotel rooms are nice and cosy for their pricepoint.

Bedrooms are very small. No enough space for our luggage. Beds are not comfortable. But free endlessly staff and delicious food.

This is my second visit to this hotel in the past used to be very good. On my last visit the customer service and the room hygiene are really bad. Not to mention how noisy it is from functions done at the roof top.

The staff very nice,, the rooms are clean and the location great, yes the room is small, but who need the room in Istanbul, u will spend most of your time outside.

The hotel is great location… great stuff good customer service helpful. How ever very noise breakfast not fresh always same needs to change.

Just amazing it's my conclusion so my advice to every body is to try it.

Important: the environment of the hotel is quiet, which is rare at beyoglu, neighborhood of bars and noisy restaurants! many room overlook small dark classes. Some bathrooms are beginning to to degrade but it's OK overall. Gym in sub soil and lunch on the terrace with views. Breakfast can be improved in quality.

Great hotel very near to taksim square great staff with good manners I'm totally recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in taksim area. ☺☺
