Beautiful hotel excellent service stay there for one week.

I made a non-refundable booking with them for 6 days and wanted to cancel my whole trip to Turkey after 27 hours because of a work-related emergency and they wouldn’t refund me even with a cancellation fee. They have no respect for customers canceling their trips because of emergencies and their inflexibility in discussions is absurd. Find a hotel that better respects their first time customers, listens to them and accommodates for emergency situations when you explain them.

It was a great stay at Rixos Pera, one of the finest 5-stars hotels, very helpful and friendly staff, variety of food in breakfast meal, nice outdoor and indoor bar. The view is calming from the upper floors and the rooms are luxurious. 5-stars well deserved.

From day one on arrival I received poor customer service from the front desk. I stayed at the hotel based on a referral from family and friends but I was very disappointed. The hotel doesn’t seem to have standardised policies and it seems like it’s one rule for one guest and another for another guest. There was no follow up or mediation from the hotel management to try and resolve my issues or provide a solution. I have forwarded a complaint to the Rixos headquarters in Dubai and I will also discuss the issue with the Hotel Manager Mr Ersin Sahin on his return from annual leave.

Rixos Pera is a great hotel to stay in when you are visiting Istanbul. It's a true 5 stars rating and your will have no surprises when you come from abroad. Their standard of service is immaculate and their attention to details is unmatched. We spent 4 nights there and have received an excellent level of service, truly! Their terrace offers a very nice view of the city and their breakfast is super rich. You are 2 min walking distance from the center of Istiklal street while away from the crowd and noises of the streets. I truly recommend it.

Excellent hotel with excellent location located at the city center, extremely clean & comfortable. We booked a room for 13 nights and we are only in our third night and we love this hotel. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff, they maked our trip more interesting with their advices & tips about the city, supermarket, shops, restaurants bars are within walking distance. Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again for going just that little step extra for the guests!

One of my worst experience in terms of service. The staff is very rude and completely unprofessional. The hotel has a very weird way to access the rooms, you have to go to the basement and change another life after a long walk to head to the room. I called the staff for an extra tea cup to take some medicine and he was super duper rude asking me — how many people are there in the room? If you are two — why do you need a third cup? Like seriously? I have to now give account of how many cups I need, next what you will ask me how much water I use in the bathroom and will you decide how much two people need? I needed cotton discs for removing makeup — and even without understanding the guy refused we don’t have it. They of course did, cos one packet was already in the room. Such bad treatment of your guests — I’ve never experienced this even in a small B&B or 3-star. They also don’t bother you when you have such small requests and happily serve you. Plus the street noise is in your room until 3am — had hard time sleeping. ‪ I don’t recommend this hotel, we stayed in two other properties earlier in the same area and they were so good.

Great hotel that is located in a good location (near sheshane metro station). The irritating things in this hotel are 1) the nosie from both in-hotel and out-of-hotel 2) the fact that they don't have access for wheelchairs or baby trollies (there's one picture showing the entrance)

The best hotel I have ever stayed in! Very clean very good breakfast the staff the is the best of the best all of them. The hotel smells wonderful when you do your check in they give you treat at your room … also has hairdresser massage gym! It's one minute from taksim.! Keep up the good work you guys.

Disappointing overall. Hotel lobby appears rather grand but staff barely speak English, get very aggressive and seem to lack basic training in customer service. Here, the customer is always wrong. Rooms small but well-appointed but you will get used to road noise, constant car horns, call to prayer bellowing from nearby speakers, etc. Breakfast area totally inadequate with staff rushing to throw you out and clear tables. Asking for a cup of tea is a labour of love and we found waitera rude and frankly intrusive. Room service equally poor. No pool or decent leisure other than a small gym and sauna. Overall, disappointing experience compared with other better Rixos chain hotels. No sign of any manager or senior management for the three days we have been ill-treated here so far!

Excellent hotel. I didn't try the breakfast but they had good and speedy room service.

Its a good classy hotel… there is spa as well name spa soul which is the therapist is mostly asian… they have traditional hamam and massages.

Good place except staff at the Gym (no English), no access during our stay, because the the person at the Gym (tall Lady = 0 English). I do prefer another place with English speaking.

If you want a 5 stars hotel with one of the best views in town then this is the place. The restaurant at the top is highly recommended even if you were not a guest. Great view specially at sunset, great place for special occasions and delicious food. Service is worthy of a 5 stars rank, you could ask the staff anything and they will accommodate your requests.

Don’t expect a 5 star service—more like 3 or 4–staff needs training. Coffee is bad. Nobody was smiling—the lobby is nice, but the quality of service equal to an average fast food restaurant.

Had the worst experience in this hotel. Went outside for 4 hours when coming back I found that they checked me out because they didnt find anything in the room. And the receptionist was so sure of him self that he is right…

Lousy manager (not duty manager) and lousy staff. Hotel was good, breakfast was good. Great location but all the fun was gone with the attitude of the manager and concierge who could never get any bookings on time. I.

Amazing hotel, really clean and luxury, the staff we're amazing and friendly. The breakfast was on the roof and it was delicious, service was great, Wi-Fi on point. The rooms and the spa were absolutely stunning. The hotel scent was lavender which was gorgeous. I would so go back to this hotel in future. You can't go wrong with his amazing hotel.

I loved the place, — Comfortable; — Luxury; — We reach all the places we need to go easily and in a short time because first the staff is very friendly and helpful, second the hotel is situated in a very strategical point; — I insist on the good staff, helpful, friendly, smiley (very important issue in a country u dont know anybody), well equiped (the stuff especially Mr. Nuri do his best to answer all the questions you have and he is ready to ask and give you all answers you want) ; — Very good food and service; — Very clean. I highly recommend it. Our experience, my husband and me, is very good there especially it is the first time for us at Istanbul. If we will go again to visit Istanbul sure we will go Rixos Pera. It was a great hotel the service was good exept at last it was ruined because we received our bags 1hour after checkin even though we did tell them to bring them down many times.

Very nice hotel and very centrally located just behind the shopping street, taksim square and the galata Tower. Clean rooms and in the evening they bring you some sweets offered. Included in the price and the breakfast, sauna, Turkish bath and gym.

Hello together,

I was at the end of March 2013 at the Rixos Hotel in Taxim. The Hotel is good but unfortunately it has next door a large construction site. The noise is unbearable and you are working even at Night. I would not recommend the Hotel for the next time.
