This place is AMAZING! I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are so helpful, welcoming and friendly; nothing is too much trouble for them and they’re great with kids too. We are here (March 2020). Super Hotel for families. Absolutely awesome. With Breakfast. The Rest has to be paid, which is relatively expensive, but children have a free Buffet for lunch and dinner when an adult ordered a meal. Mega great Hotel!

Simply beautiful for a family holiday or without children… Meals at the top. The very friendly staff.

Everything is kid-friendly, with kids being everywhere. Services offered are great. Affordable dinner options on hotel grounds as well as beachfront massage and colorful braids for the kids.

Just stayed here for 9 nights with the wife and kids and a perfect spot! 4 pools, water slide, kids indoor area, beach, restaurants, massages all at Sunwing! We'll definitely come back!

Everything is great and best especially for family relaxing place.

Although we were greeted by a cockroach on our first night, there are tons of things to love about this resort. I am staying with my husband, 4 year old daughter and 7 year old son at Happy Baby room for 6 nights. The staff are super friendly and helpful, great facilities and newly furnished, clean, cozy interior and kids friendly. Over all, we love this place, still enjoying our stay. We would highly recommend this place to families! We would definitely be come back!

The hotel itself did not live, went only in the pool to swim. The pool is big, there is a children's slide, but you can barely go on it, did not like my son. There is also a very small small pool for kids. There were a lot of people with children, but there were no Russians except us that day. The hotel is located right on the beach, from the pool a few meters away beach! Very convenient!

Awesome family resort we got 3 young boys 6, 10&12 loved it beachfront white sand clear clean blue ocean dream holiday place thats got great food fantastic service and affordable for the everyday family go there! We will be back again. Look at where we had breakfast and ate dinner every day paradise.

I am staying in Sunwing Bangtao Beach hotel since 3-4 days with my wife and three children. This is an amazing place for staying in PHUKET especially with family. It's right on the Bangtao Beach which is a peaceful and scenic beach. The staff is superb, special thanks to Ann, the lady at the front desk who goes out of the way to help the guests. My room was at the first floor but my wife requested for a ground floor room as the ground floor rooms have a direct access to the swimming pools. So Ann accommodated us instantly by changing our rooms asap and giving us the ground floor room. Also the welcome drinks were delicious so we wanted to order again but again Ann won our hearts by providing us free drinks the next day too. There are 4 big pools and exciting activities round the day to keep us entertained. The breakfast is too good and the location is serene and beautiful. I highly recommend Sunwing Bangtao and I am already planning my next vacation here soon. Great hotel and amazing staff!

Great Beach. First line, sand. Clean Hotel. Good pools that constantly check the test tubes and the device special people. The Hotel is for a family relaxing holiday with small children. Did not put 5 stars just out of the food for just for small children up to 3-4 years old. It's practically gone. For Breakfast 1 kind of porridge daily and everything! For lunch and dinner only for more adult children food. For them, if the parent orders the main course, meals are free of charge. This is a 2 course menu + ice cream Ball + drink. There is no Buffet for them anymore, as the low season has started. The Menu is monotonous. Parents are not allowed to eat for children! The Waiters follow it strictly.

Our stay at Sunwing Resort Bangtao Beach has been excellent!
The staff have been amazing and provided great service and friendly personal touch, from the Trainee Room Cleaner up to the Restaurant Manager, Chuoloey — nothing has been too much trouble and they have gone out of their way to add their personal touch to their hospitality and service. We highly recommend Sunning Resort as a great location with great facilities and great staff!

Good hotel for family holidays with kids. The beach is gorgeous. There is a kids club and there is no children's animation. Expensive and not very tasty food in restaurants. On the contrary-a decent café (on the right). It is located far from noisy areas. For a family vacation-what you need.

Great hotel — we booked b&b as planned to eat out for most meals in one of the many restaurants and bars around the hotel. Lots of places for shopping, massages, chemists, night markets very close by too. Only 20 mins in a taxi to Pantong for much busier and larger town with full on nightlife and shopping malls. Trips are amazing especially Phi Phi Islands — the best boat trip by far! Lovely room, too many complimentries to count! Large Samsung TV, loads of storage, massive beds, lsrge balcony, Wifi works perfectly in room and ard around the hotel. Full size fridge which we stocked from the 7 11 across the road. Lovely staff, great pool with plenty of sun lounges and buzzer for waiter service (except for all inclusive). Hotel food is very good as is everywhere else. Right on a beautiful beach. Gentle slope into the sea so safe for kids. We took our 13 year old daughter and she loved it. Cheap to eat and drink out. Buy toiletries here as so much cheaper than home. Only sun cream more expensive. We will definitely go again.

Really to recommend and eat meals (delicious) served on the map facing the sea a happiness… The staff always smiling and animators at the top!

Normal Parking, plenty of seats. With food on the side is problematic, you need to move. WI-FI in the room extra charge, the rooms are cozy and have a microwave, large fridge, mini kitchen. All of the room a solid 5+. In the courtyard of pools with different depths, is not for young children. Special thanks for the presence of soul in the street, for those who comes from the sea. There is a separate children's Playground, all conveniently made for families with children.

Everything is nice and big — rooms, gardens, beach (right in front) and 4 big swimming pools. Especially great for families with an extra kiddies pool, animation, programmes and kiddies nursery rooms. Service good and attentive as long as you didn't want something outside of the usual. Not for singles or impaired people.

Great hotel. The rooms are spacious. Cleanliness of the restaurant, kitchen, bars, toilets, gardens and swimming pools… and the rooms. The restaurant's maps are expanded. There are Thai and European dishes. It's delicious.
The staff are very smiling and helpful.
The animators of the Lookéa Club are great. They welcome all francophones. They have a range of activities and excursions. Bravo to all the animators.

I would highly recommend this hotel for the very comfortable room the swimming pools the situation by the seaside. Direct access to the beach family atmosphere by cons the restaurant needs to be improved Thai food is not good.

A nice, relaxing beach holiday with the kids. There is a children's club and children's animation, in addition to evening animation programs for children and adults. Beautiful clean pools of depth with a children's slide. The beach is clean, in March the sea is comfortable for bathing children, there are almost no waves. Smiling, attentive staff. There is a Russian-speaking hotel guide Eugenia, who quickly helps to solve the issues and animator Nastya, with whom children are always easy and fun to communicate.

Nice hotel complex. Very family friendly! Great beach location. Not directly in the village. But the beach is a 15 minute walk away.

It is too much for the number of tourists living. The area could have been bigger. But the service and everything else is on top.

Were the second time here… we liked the facility back then… nicely planted the interior of the complex… many different pools offer variety. Nice room… good climate. Mostly good cleaning… I can't say anything negative about the aforementioned reception. 30 EUR for 1 week room-Wi-Fi I found an insolence for it however in the restaurant and at the Rutschenpool mostly free reception… super long and Wide beach, no road in between with mostly enough shade by the big Casuarina.

Already 6th year stop over at this hotel! For families with children is a very good option! Slides, animation, plenty of pools of varying depth, very good food. For children on the lunch buffet is only free if adults order something for yourself. Great beach with a smooth entrance. Sunbeds enough for everyone! The only negative-over the years we began to notice that the rooms are a bit worn, especially the bathrooms, I wish the hotel management to pay attention to it! And so, recommended for families with children! Here they really relax and not tense up!

Super hotel for a quiet chic getaway! The hotel is located on the beach from the sea to the hotel 100 meters away, the entire infrastructure is within walking distance of everyone I recommend to be satisfied!

The hotel is good. It has pools and sandy beach. Sea water is warm, but there were many tiny jellyfish. The restaurant (Piak's kitchen) has fewer european courses than last year. The Thai personnels' language knowledge should be better…

This is the hotel for those who want to spend a quiet, comfortable and relaxing vacation. And if you are traveling with kids then this hotel is simply Paradise. — ==-
Our standard family room was very spacious, about 45 sq m. It was a large double bed and a single bed combined with a couch. The room had everything you would need and more. Kitchenette with sink, fridge, utensils (plates, cups, glasses, Cutlery) and a kettle, every day brought coffee and tea. Also, each day has provided two half liter bottles of drinking water. The room also had bathrobes, Slippers, shower gels, shampoo, lotion, disposable toothbrushes, sewing kit and umbrella. The room was cleaned very well every day washed the floor. Tea left from 20 to 50 baht. — =Area=-
The area is large. Along all the buildings are swimming pools. Pools for every taste, for kids, quiet with a small number of people, adult, sports nets for water volleyball and Polo gateway, a main pool with water slide. There are many beds you could always find a free place at almost any time. Directly from the hotel is access to the sea. Sun loungers are on site so you can find the free to 10 all morning was not difficult. The fine white sand and clean water in the morning, a transparent near the shore you can see the fish. People were quite a little walk on the beach traders, but they are not Intrusive.

Super Place beautiful setting just one downside speaks not French and its it will have to learn a can otherwise awesome super beautiful room eat it too good but a can spicy if not nothing to say.

I pinched a week of bad weather but the hotel service is impeccable.

Good place for families keen on holidays Clubs! This is a real all-inclusive club! So if you like crowd, kids running everywhere, and wearing a bracelet to enjoy a 10m-long buffet with mediocre food, this is definitely a place for you! Other than that, the pool is big with a kids playground and the resort is right on the nice Bang Tao beach.

Fabulous location, right on the beach with beautiful sand and with very nice and child friendly pool area.
Food is overpriced and not very high quality.
We will still be able to return, but eat elsewhere and do not book transportation or trips via hotel.
The normal meter taxis drive about 40% cheaper than the hotel's travel and adventure Tours is almost twice as expensive as the sun is feasible.

Had the best time with our family here. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the beach is right in front and the pools are beautiful and of course the highlight for us was the best buffet breakfast! The choices were wide and it was just fabulous. One slight downside was that it was a bit far from everything else.

Far from Patong if you are concerned, but it is best in Phuket for beach and pools — there are few of them. Kids and families are very welcome here, but it should not be an issue for those seeking a quiet break — there is a pool for kids, and there is one that is very relaxing. Property is large, in front of nice beach good for long walk. Good food in the hotel as well as accross the street.

Very good resort, would recommend this place to any family with kids, spend the extra money on "la tasca inclusive" worth every penny (or bath in this case :) ) very welcoming and helpful personell. If you are here to party look elsewhere!

Great place for a relaxing holiday. The resort is aimed at families with kids who want to relax. No pubs or clubs in this area but plenty of beachside restaurants to relax and have a drink at. Very well organized resort with lots of staff who do their jobs well. Resort is literally on the beach with plenty of sun lounges to laze on. Pools are big and of varying depths and are well maintained. Shower had excellent hot water and pressure. The rooms are spacious. And we could watch the sunset from our balcony. The a/c was excellent. We received free Wi-Fi with our room which worked without any problems. The breakfast is great. The gym is excellent. They have various activities, shows and fitness classes scheduled daily. Rooms are not well soundproofed so you will hear other people sometimes. The restaurant is extremely expensive as is the convenience store so I would avoid them both. The lady at the spa is a bit difficult so have your massages on the beach instead. And most importantly dont stay here if you don't like kids because they are everywhere.

Far from Patong, but best in Phuket for beach and pools. Kids are very welcome here.

The location of this hotel is brilliant; it is right on the beach. Furthermore, it is extremely clean with house keeping cleaning rooms everyday. Nonetheless, there are some things that were irritating about this place. 1. You have to pay for internet outside of the lobby area and it is per device! 2. The breakfast is very expensive at nearly 500baht. 3. Beach towels are only issued through a card service. 4. The cafe is not value for money.

Long live the Lookea clubs. Go with your eyes closed.

It's a very modern and comfortable place. Ideal for families. The place is next to the beach with friendly and helpful staff. The resort offers many dinning choices and offers a peaceful stay.

Nice resort for families — great pools. Probably a good place to start a holiday to get into the relaxing mood. In an isolated area so rely on transport. Was low season so only the 1 restaurant was open — limited food options. Having breakfast included was a big plus. In need of a renovation and a repaint — but would come stay again.

Been to this hotel 3 times, everytime always chilled, great price, nice pools, next to the beach, perfect for families.

Don't go there for Breakfast Buffet, it sucks … just the cheapest of the cheap.

Great hotel, very friendly and well maintained! Here and there you can see the age of the hotel, but all in all still a good hotel at a great price. We are definitely there again next year! :)

Very good hotel for families with children. In it and in another on the Kamala sunwing. Both are excellent.

It's already our cattle, which 4 free sunbed takes on the beach for 2 with 1 small child. Better paid loungers made for "protection against the fool".

Great place for a family friendly holiday. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for people without a family, but for families it's just perfect. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms and grounds are all impeccably kept, the restaurant is quite good and overall it's a great value. We had a really, really excellent stay.

Excellent resort for families with kids. The location was awesome with the beach just off the lawn/swimming pool. They have 4 pools and my kids had a blast. There are two restaurants in the resort, but we just visited the one La Tasca which had good food at decent price. Recommend for families with kids. I would have given 5 stars had the hotel provided some sort of free transportation to close by places, like Tesco Lotus supermarket or nearby restaurants. You have to rent taxi or tuk-tuk and they charge 100 THB to take you to Tesco which is just 1.5 km. We walked which was good, but not always pleasant when its hot and humid out there. It would be great if the hotel can let customers borrow/rent bicycles.

This hotel is perfect if you have kids. Lots of activities, and the pools are well suited for children. Nice restaurants as well, but you'll get better food if you're willing to walk a couple of hundred meters along the beach.
