We only stayed 3 days inbetween travels but the Resort is so lovely and the grounds so spacious we didnt feel the need to go anywhere. Pools. Beach. And lovely surrounds were enough for us just to relax and take in the vibe of Thailand And the staff were exceptional. Highly recommend Moracea for peace and relaxation.

A fantastic facility, great service, great and wonderfully varied breakfast and food. Really all cocktails are super delicious. Massage is also recommended and even available in June at extremely reduced prices. Currently, only one of three bars is open, as the hotel is currently not even half fully booked. We will definitely be back.

We spend 2 nights here for the family trip. The room was so impress and spacious. Staffs were so nice and helpful with smiling on their face. Beach was clean and swimming pool was very clean. We will come back again. =) )

The room was nice and, staffs were helpful, food was great. The resort itself was next to the beach and was so quiet. It's suitable for people who is looking for peaceful life and get away from chaotic.

Highly recommended… Thai style lodges beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and great bars, swimming pools and on the beach. Peaceful location but only 5 minute taxi ride to local village and International Tsunami museum. Excellent service too.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, comfy pool front bungalow and only 15 minutes slow walking to KOAH LAK village.

Fantastic resort with beautiful tropical garden setting and pools. The staff are genuinely beautiful people. Kind and always smiling. Even the gardeners were easy with a smile. Rooms clean and charming. Decore modern.

Staying here for 8 nights and we couldn’t of been happier with our stay! Rooms where fantastic and very clean, great pools with many to choose from as well as a gorgeous beach! Staff were very helpful and the hotel is in a perfect location! If your looking for a really relaxed and care free holiday then I would highly recommend Moracea Khao Lak!

Do yourself a favour and go to Khao Lak for a holiday. The Moracea resort was fantastic.

The hotel is excellent. The photos don't do it justice. It is a 5 star hotel. I don't do reviews unless I'm impressed. I walked along the beach and checked out the other resorts. They this hotel is more spaced out. It is more roomy compared to some of the other resorts. Reviews from other guests. Food and facilities better than the Marriott which is built like a box retailer. The unit had a proper size decent bath. A separate shower unit was also included. This is what I meant earlier about being roomy and spacious. The unit also came with its own private balcony and a decent size refrigerator and televsion. Wi-Fi was free and could use anywhere at the resort. There are 3-4 pools here. The food was top notch. It is hillly but you can asked to be picked up and taken anywhere at the resort. They have a lizard protected species, harmless. You are on the back of a reserve national park. Beaches clean, ocean warm 27 degrees Celsius. You can walk to the village in 10 minutes. Lots of restaurants to eat from. Overall very good.

Good hotel. Nice bungalows on the beachfront. Outdoor shower. Nicely decorated. Sorted out a noise issue quickly. Tour guide office on site. We enjoyed it. Negatives were that food on the Thomson half board package was not worth it. Only 2 choice of starters for a fortnight and ice creams not included. Nor were some drinks. Not what I'd expect from a 5 star hotel package food wise.

Exceptional place for a relaxed vacation. Very nice and helpful reception staff, can advice on almost everything in the area. The hotel is not in the center of the village, therefore not many people walking around on the beach, several pool areas on premises. The whole hotel area is very green and feels like botanic garden. Staff at bars could be friendlier, so we preferred to go elsewhere for lunch.

Very nice hotel, staff available to guests. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the hotel is in the midst of a magnificent vegetation. I would highly recommend this place to anyone they want to spend a great stay in Thailand.

A wonderful Place to relax, great Beach with Sunset. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The Bungalow with Sea Views was the Hammer. The only thing that annoyed was the Mosquitoes. Mosquito Nets over the Bed would have been good.

Amazing affordable massages, you can have one every day. Nice music at the bar, tasty seafood and welcoming staff. The sunset is beautiful. You can take a four island day boat trip; swim inside a cave, enjoy a tasty thai meal and have a lot of fun riding a speed boat.

Hotel is beautifully located right on the Beach. Hours of walking along the great Sandy Beach are possible. Breakfast very good for this hotel price category. Beautiful little Bungalows overlooking the Sea or one of the small Pools. Priced very good. Has surprised us by Location and Service. Great Beach hotel At a small Price.

Again just a wonderful paradise to stay. A real privilege to be situated in a spaciatious and beautiful bungalow on the beach. Wake up to the sound of the lapping waves. It truly is a Thai heaven!

Great hotel with a green territory and a mass of jungle (lizards from the smallest to the huge, all kinds of birds, flying foxes, butterflies). Wonderful, warm, clean, gentle sea. Super Beach. Good service. Rooms with pool access are the best option for families with children.

Good place to stay. The hotel has its own beach. Good breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable, the room was spacious. Bathroom is large separate toilet separate shower separate bath. Air conditioning and ceiling fan. The village is close to 15 minutes walk, a lot of cafes with different cuisines, fruits are not expensive. Of the tourists most of all German speakers, Russians are not so many.

My best hotel in Thailand. We spent the first two nights there to calm down. I regret that I already booked some non refundable hotels afterwards — I would have stayed here longer. + clean + beautyful rooms + pools + Spa was very professional + thai and continental breakfast If you search negative points — english skills of the staff — the young staff at the beach bar could be more polite and service orientated.

The Absolute madness!
As pictures say more than 1000 words attached. We were 12 nights there and didn't want to go first, really first cream! From the room, to the breakfast, to the beach. Highly recommend.

Decent spacious living in Khao Lak. Close to the beach with great views of the sea. However, rooms are spaced far apart, so be prepared for a long uphill walk if you want to go into town. The hotel is also located quite far away from town, so expect up to 20 minutes walk to get to some restaurants in town. restaurant food is OK only. More expensive than the restaurants in town, but not significantly better. The english of the staff could also be improved. we tried out the spa too which was very professional and well worth a visit. It's more expensive than the ones outside but you get what you pay for in service and quality.

A lovelely resort with a seawiew from our balcony. The Room has a very nice design, like an old english/indian style goes modern. The bathroom is the best! Perfekt breakfast but the Staff are not so wellspeaking in english, but I Will really recommend this place if you want to have a quiet and Lovely vacation. We spent our honeymoon here❤️

You would not have this hotel as 3 star. One of the cleanest and nicest hotels I have stayed. I have stayed in 5 stars that don't reach this standard. The beach here was exceptional. Choice of pools. Some with direct access for a supplement. Cleaner than the rest of the hotel beaches when I took a walk. Everything easy. Attention to detail. Had an early flight and we were rang to say they had arranged a packed breakfast and pick up of cases. I'm picky. I don't give 5 stars often but I am really struggling to find a fault here. Breakfast caters for all. Cooked, continental, thai. Lots of choice. Lunch was lovely. Never ate a dinner. The only problem I could foresee was the numbers of sun beds. Not a lot but then I stayed in low season so had a choice. One word to describe my first stay in Thailand and at the Morecea Khao Lak Resort… Fabulous!

This hotel is the absolute dream! I have never seen such an authentic and beautiful resort. We had a beachfront bungalow which really shows directly and without any visual handicap to the sea. Who wants the great entertainment and live music party, should visit another resort. Here is peace and intimacy in the first place. You live like in a residential complex with service. The cleanliness is madness. Never experienced anything like it before. All super clean, not a single lint on the floor. The rooms are Asian/woody. No sterile glass and high-gloss furniture. It is authentic and simply homelike. Only the deafness I would see as a minus point. We had a very active couple next door, that after the daily quarrel, again diligently worked on a reconciliation — that was not to be overheard;)
We are on a Thailand tour. But we will probably no longer have something as beautiful as the Moracea in Khao Lak. If you want to book a standard room in one of the multi-storey houses, you need some stamina for the hill, respectively. Up the stairs. Restaurant, bars and pools as well as the beach are "downstairs". The staff is top! Friendly, diligent and courteous. It is about 600 metres to the town and about 1 km to the city centre. A shuttle is not offered. The taxi costs between 100-150 baht (2, 50-3, €0).

This place is amazing the local markets are a must depending on what you are looking for. Always try to haggle lower price as the locals do like this as part of business. Eat local Thai food rather than the restaurant food intended for tourists and your tastebuds will be in heaven. The beaches are immaculate and a must stay place is the @hotelMoracea. September has had masses of sunshine and I've got a nice tan and with the help of hired scooter I've seen quite a lot of the area with a broken toe thanks to my fiancée being the designated driver lol.

Very natural, sea side environment breeze… As the mattter of fact, this Moracea Resort by Khao Lak Resort should be 5 stars resort instead of 3…

Very nice room and good service.

Good 4 star resort, 10 mins from the town where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Rooms are good. Our only issue is that the bars in the hotel do not stay open beyond 8pm. Be warned, we stayed in low season and the sea was extremely rough and definitely not suitable for swimming in. Lots of pools made up for it though!

Rooms are very nice, clean and the facilities at the resort are marvellous; the staff are very friendly and the food is great. Drinking the tap water is not a good idea but the hotel supplies water daily. The toilets are easy to block up though…
