The location and grounds are great. It's right near the beach, shopping, and restauraunts, but still feels secluded and tranquil. The staff is even better. They were so friendly and helpful. They took really good care of us and even booked all our excursions and transportation for us from the front desk. Loved it here!

Hotel Peace Laguna Resort is very beautiful, the property is good & clean, my room is very big, happy with free hi-tea very evening, the food is HALAL for us muslim, the manager Miss ANNE is very polite & humble, all staff a very good, the most polite & humble is Miss DAW always smile. Night time can just walk area hotel bcoz very happening with a lot of cafe's. Hope more people will come to stay at Hotel Peace Hotel. Sincere from my PUSPAWATI from Malaysia.

The hotel is beautiful, in the center of Ao Nang but very quite inside. The staff were super nice and helpful. They let us check in early, the room was ready when we arrived. Breakfast is really good with a lot of choices. We checked out early before breakfast and they gave us a box with food for the way. One of our best choices for our honeymoon!

Vey nice resort a bit away from the busy street so very quiet. Awesome service and cleaniness. Only minus was a bit noicy air conditioning in our room but it was ok with ear plugs :)

Great for kids. Rooms were clean but need a bit of a remodel. Staff are generally nice, especially the recreation staff near at the pool. These dudes also put on really good fire show a few times a week in the parking lot.

This place is amazing. The view is amazing. We also got a room with a huge balcony. The room service is low price compared with other 4 or 5 hotels. Overall our vacation was amazing.

Checked in after booking connecting rooms, but given separate rooms! Had a faulty Aircon in our room from the start. Kept going into Error mode or shutting down completely! Reported it 3 times but it was never resolved! 3 nights of broken sleep. Bed and pillows were hard like they were made of Sand! Way below the usual Holiday Inn standard. Low Staff performance was also not to the usual Holiday Inn standard. Disappointed to say the least! For this money You should expect much more!

Stayed in pool access rooms. Just amazing. Breakfast was good with lots of variety. Right across beach with nice sunset views… long tail boat charter right opposite hotel, so need to pre book any tour… lip smacking street food just right of the hotel… convenience store at the door step…

Exceeded expectation from a facility vs price perspective. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly and there are enough activities to keep everyone happy. Not much of a beach. Will need to cross a road to get to the beach. The beach serves as a boat pick up and drop off point to other nearby islands where you'd find white sandy beaches. The hotel is close to mini marts should you need to stock up on food and drinks. Plenty of restaurants nearby which are good and inexpensive.

Great place to spend vacation. Very good locations. They got sea view rooms and the rooms are really nice well decorated not like the city ones. Very nice breakfast we loved it. There are many food options near the hotel. The beach is 100 feet from the hotel and really nice place to enjoy the view.

Recently 28th and 29th March I visited with my wife, first visiting Krabi with bad experience due to hotel customer care services that was inefficient and lack of communication. I booked the hotel by my agent. At checking they said that they have twin bed for us that was totally ridiculous later they rearrange but I have to wait for 1 hour. Regarding room makeup 1request for 3times but they finished it at late evening with some tips 40baht. Room doesn't provide with bathtub. Bad Smell at the balcony. The front view is nice. Pool experience is good. With this high price of room rate it was not expected. Anyway As a international chain they should look after this drawback.

Got a room upgrade. Wonderful view. Great breakfast buffet. Nice pool but be warned, this a family resort so there will be children around! There are separate pools/areas that are more adult friendly as well which was good. Right by the long tail boats that take you out to Railay if you so wish.

A decent hotel near Ao Nang beach with a great pool for children and adults. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you need to go away, the children will watch.

We were in a local Le, Tipa Resort, saying 4 stars and left it for this one.
And it was the right choice home quality in English, nice site, you have to take a room whose terrace overlooks the pool, it's unique and fun.
Breakfast excellent, quality is there. The jam at the blueberries is very good.

Please don't judge the review. These are purely personal observations. Pros: infrastructure. In the vicinity are the beach, shops, markets, exchanges with not very favorable rate:), the opportunity to leave by sea taxi. About the hotel itself: three pools, a fitness room, a children's room, quite an edible kitchen, thought out the internal organization of the space. Now about the disadvantages of large hotels, which can be attributed to this hotel: not everywhere there are fences of elevations in the places of planted palm trees, if there someone falls, pretty traumatized. During the stay I never saw the "slippery floor" sign on display, and the stone pavement was wet and very slippery. I will post a couple of photos of slippery coating and in my opinion, where it is necessary to install a barrier.

We have just stayed in Phuket, Pataong Beach in a 5 star hotel, and this hotel had friendlier staff and exceptional service. Nothing was too much trouble and staff very helpful. Of course there are language issues but this is too be expected and patience, tolerance and respect in a foreign country should be mandatory! Setting is beautiful, walk down to national park at end of beach, to the right out the front of hotel, amazing. Local eateries provide great food at low prices and don't miss out on the fried ice cream and mango sticky rice. Highly recommend taking a local taxi early morning (rather than tour — too rushed) and swimming at Emerald Pool and Hot Springs and climbing the 1237 steps at Tiger Temple, huge effort but don't give up, definitely worth the effort. Hotel food delicious, buffet breakfast great variety and fried banana fritters to die for. Thank you Holiday Inn for a lovely holiday!

We had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn So Nang resort. In addition to being very conveniently located, the resort is also beautiful and very green. The swimming pools are fantastic. The staff did everything they could to accommodate us. Ice at the front desk in particular, was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back!

I have many a feeling about this Holiday Inn Resort. It could be 4 stars, it could be 3 stars. It probably is 3.75 stars. The good: the 3 pools, kids eat free, kids club, across street from beach, the spa, happy hour specials at the bar, the friendly staff, the look and layout of the resort, and the random live entertainment at night. The great layout around the kids pools with proper flooring for running little crazies. All worthy of 4+ star service. The not so good: the just not quite right room, and especially the bathroom layout, the kids pool that probably could be cleaned daily, the open air restaurant/check-in area which is lovely when it is dry, but when it is raining, well, ¯\_ (ツ) _/¯. The lack of picking up of room service plates from outside of rooms for 24+ hours. The tiling around the resort that becomes ice rink like when wet (not all places but at some). It's just enough that after 3 days off sunshine and rainbows, you begin to see the flaws, and they are noticeable. That is only 2.5 starts. Hence 3 star review, but really that means 3.75

Wonderful and very accommodating.

Good location, Good property. Good stay option especially if you are traveling with kids. They have a good pool and the spa is pretty decent too. You can get a 45 min massage for around 20$. They messed up my check out however. I had booked an airport transfer but on the day of the check out they realized there was no booking. They quickly arranged an alternate though. This left a sour taste to an otherwise great stay.

The reception was very welcoming, indeed the entire evening was clad in classy service. My family only had drinks and a few bar snacks during the evening but they were very well presented, served and of excellent quality.

Great breakfast, ideal facility for children regarding swimming area and kids Club.
Furthermore, in the immediate vicinity of small market to the pharmacy, so that the stay for families is very gratifying.
However, the beach is contaminated due to heavy boat traffic and is not suitable for swimming. However, the hotel offers beach towels included.

We booked for early check-in, arriving at 11:00. And after 20hours of flight we had to spend an additional 4 (! ) hours at their reception, because they couldn't manage this only single request. They didn't even say sorry. So that is the famous Thai hospitality at Holiday Inn Resort Krabi… I don't recommend anyone to choose it.

Staff very attentive, we enjoyed a room with direct access to the pool and the service was exquisite, to the level of the paradise of the island itself. English essential that if!

A very good place to sleep near sel port and close to it all. Quiet.

Some of the rooms are really nice and well designed, but some are really old. The staff are nice and well trained. Room service is ok. The food is not bad but you can find better places to eat not far from the hotel especially if you are into seafood. The resort is located in a nice beach with couple of restaurants. To enjoy the night life of Krabi, you’ll have a 10 min ride from the resort which is good.

The hotel has a nice green area 2 pools 1 deep. 3m and there is still a children's with slides. The rooms are spacious but require cosmetic repairs. Breakfasts are not very bad.

A great place for families. The hotel staff and the cleaning staff are amazing. I had my birthday while staying there, and the cleaning staff decorated our bed with a happy birthday banner and an origami elephant made from towels. They also then brought me up a birthday cake later in the day. The didn't have to do this, they did it just because they are kind people. The pool and the resort grounds are immaculate and always well maintained. My only issue with this resort would be the food/restaurant. The buffet breakfast is quite good, but the staff in the restaurant, while very nice, can sometimes forget that you're there and you may be waiting a while. My wife ordered a pad Thai, and it was brought out 10 minutes later yet I had to wait another 20 minutes for a burger and fries. We booked a trip to phi phi Island through the the company at the hotel (the company is called Wang sai speed boat) which turned out to be a nightmare. On our way back there was a storm and the negligent driver didn't care to slow down or be careful and lost control of the speed boat at full speed, almost capsizing the boat and sending one half of the people on the boat flying mid air to the other and crashing into one another. There were children and elderly people on board, who thankfully weren't hurt, but one man has to be carried off the boat as he couldn't walk.

Enjoyed a lot. The pool side bar is very good and nicely maintained. Food is good too. Only drawback is zero night life.

Lovely big Resort opposite the beach. The Restaurant offers great views across the road to the beach itself. There is usually great musical entertainment around Happy Hour every evening. It is even possible to get Happy Hour prices from the swim up bar! Rooms are clean and comfortable and most of the staff speak good English. There is a car park which is also a great pick up point when leaving on day trips which can be booked through the Tour Desk.

Excellent service. Very friendly & accommodating staff. Rooms are clean & spacious. Lots of shopping just outside hotel. All within walking distance.

Service is good and staff are warm and helpful. BBQ buffet dinner at Wave bar (near check-in counter) is nice. Not many food choices but what they serve are generally fresh and tasty. I like pretty much all the meat and sea food served: chicken wing, squid, beef stew and fried rice.

What a fantastic experience! Great food, a family-friendly environment, and wonderful accommodations and amenities were tied together by personal, caring and attentive staff. Peter, the resort manager, went out of his way to look out for us — providing hand-written notes explaining how we would be cared for, and coming to us in-person to resolve a minor concern (that was actually caused by a separate hotel! ). We were able to completely relax and enjoy our family time to the fullest knowing that we were in good hands.

Amazing hotel! We loved it from the moment we entered. Although there was a bit of a delay during check-in due to a power outage but we used to time to explore the property so no complaints. We were offered a free upgrade as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The breakfast was huge & delicious. The breakfast location was amazing with a beach view. Our room was amazing and huge. Very well equipped and clean. There were 2 pools both huge & awesome. The location is a bit away from the market area but can be reached by 10mins of walking. The beach in front of the hotel is not good for swimming but can be good for evening strolls.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The chambermaid did an amazing job. The food at the hotel was average — steep prices and average quality. The Saturday seafood dinner buffet was disappointing. It cost about 800baht per person. The counter staff needs more training. First, the room keys for all 3 rooms I paid for, expired a day before my check out. When trying to get the keys re-configured, the counter staff asked if I had put all 3 room keys next to my handphone or a magnet and they were trying to ascertain blame. Strange response/question from counter staff instead of providing remedial service with a smile or an apology. Second, at the time of check out, I was charged for a bottle of water I didn't consume although I told the counter staff that I hadn't. I did consume one bottle for which I willingly paid. This was after the counter staff also requested that I pay for food consumed by air crew who previously stayed in the room. They requested that I pay the charges even after I insisted that I was clearly and definitely not "air crew", since I was neither in the industry and that I was traveling with my 4 children. I paid for the bottle of water reluctantly since I was already running late for my transport to the airport. I felt that they could have handled the matter, better. Perhaps, as service industry staff they should accept first rather than request to explain since the counter staff is the main touch point of the hotel.

Great room. Kid's pool is superb! Quiet and clean. It's by the sea, just cross a street. Easy to take a boat to many islands from in front of the hotel. Everything are perfect.

We actually tend to stay away from these types of resorts but we are very glad we decided to give the Holiday Inn a go in Krabi — Fantastic is one word that can sum up our holiday and mainly thanks to everything the resort had to offer, and of course the amazing place it is situated. The people, food, accommodation, location, facilities — everything was spot on!. Thank you, we will recommend you to others and will be back one day soon!

We just came back from an amazing and relaxing stay at this Holiday Inn resort in Krabi — they have everything for all the family and the price was very reasonable too. We felt very safe during our stay and though the staff very friendly — they always had a smile on their faces and it all adds to a happy holiday. I would recommend this place highly and hope to go back again soon.

Great place to stay if you are going on Holiday with the family. The location is fantastic and the on-site facilities are great too. We had everything we needed within the resort and fully enjoyed our time in Thailand. Our expectations really were exceeded and we look forward to coming back again some time soon… As soon as possible :) I can highly recommend this resort in Krabi to anyone. Thank you.

We just came back and already we want to be back in the resort — All the family had fun and I had a good chance to relax while the kids had so much entertainment to keep them busy. Love this place and could not recommend it enough! Great sea-front location, lovely facilities and warm and friendly staff. This is a suitable resort for all types of guests but is an especially fantastic option for families with young children. They have a tremendous array of activities and facilities to keep the kids occupied and content so you can have more time relaxing and unwinding in this tropical paradise — as me and my wife took full advantage of. Thank you everyone at Holiday Inn for helping to make this trip the special time it was. We hope to see you again soon!

Think twice the place is BELOW average pricing is ridiculous campare to facilities provided rooms are pathetically done m writing while m in this place so can judge my frustration its given a bad name to HI and beautiful city of Karabi.

We had a great time at this property. The staff is very helpful, prompt and the property is great for a family. My son loved the baby pool and we loved the ability to slip into a pool from the pool access rooms.

Just got back from my trip. If there is anything learned from this unpleasant experience is to demand for written confirmation for payment. We paid cash and received vouchers for the breakfast buffet on our last day. Unfortunately, upon checkout payment was disputed. Can't imagine the stress when our airport transfer was already waiting with engine running. Apparently, the female staff at the Reception (the night before) had conveniently "forgot" to record payment. The same staff had informed us that the voucher was sufficient proof and we didn't think of charging the same to our rooms as we were checking out early the next day. There was also a problem when we checked-in as we were told our booking was only made for 1 instead of 2. Surely we didn't expect to travel all the way to Krabi for this? The location and facilities may be great but be wary of problems with staff and payment.
