Enjoyed a midweek Thai oil massage & was very happy with it. The staff was very helpful & discreet. The rooms were clean & tidy. I have struggled with extreme tension in my neck & shoulders. After my treatment, my neck felt better than it has in years. Highly recommend, especially for the price!

A super nice Hotel, great location, great rooms, great views, a super good Breakfast, super nice staff from the Manager to the maids, all very nice, helpful and polite, the pool bar is great, the Barbecue evenings is a real pleasure. We can only recommend the Hotel.

This resort is amazing and outstanding, by far one of the best we've been. From the time we arrived, the front office staff (Kwan, Meen, Aom & Boy) did an excellent job to make us feel comfortable and ensure the check in process was smooth. The ocean pool villa which we took was amazing with top notch facilities and a really nice infinity pool overlooking the ocean. We would definitely return here in the future as this resort offers nothing but the best. Thank you once again and see ya'll in the future.

Was slow season when we arrived. Place was amazing. Got the rooms by the pools which was the best choice as just jump in when too hot. Perfect.

This is the only place in Koh Lanta we will ever stay! Everyone and everything was perfect. It was our first trip to Thailand and we will be back for sure! Nikki, Nam, Nooeng, and so many more people worked hard to ensure our stay was the absolute best. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the food was excellent, the drinks even moreso, and the views absolutely cannot be beat!

Spectacular resort. Courteous staff. Great view. We stayed at the pool villa which had a private infinity pool overlooking the sea. Basically the entire room was facing the sea. So you have a nice view from the bed as well. The breakfast spread is fantastic with something from everyone. Bacon, eggs, waffles, rice, pork belly… Best meal of the day. The lighting around the complex is also just right. Gives a very relaxing vibe at night and me and my wife thoughly enjoyed our night walk. Checking out was the hardest thing to do for us after the 3 day stay. Highly recommend this place.

The perfect place to relax. This beautiful resort is located close to the ocean and you can watch the sunrise/sunset everyday with the most amazing view. Enjoy your dinner just by the shore or rent a bike just to get around the area. For me the most important thing was to have the time to relax, I really felt that I could fill my energy at this place. Polite and great staff aswell. Thank you for the stay.

Crown Lanta Resort & Spa offers a private beach, luxury accommodation, and extensive services. It is ideally situated on an elevated peninsula in Ko Lanta, offering views of Andaman Sea. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Designed in modern Thai style with amazing sea views,  rooms are clean, spacious and feature pool access or views. All rooms include full bathroom amenities, complimentary coffee/tea making facilities, and a fridge. Some facilities at Crown Lanta include restaurants and a bar, free mountain bikes, kayaks, snorkelling gear, and a gym.

Pool Access room is of great advantage. Food excellent. Staff friendly and courteous. Very well maintained facility.

Very nice place, quiet and restful, with a breathtaking view. The villas with pool and ocean view deserve the upgrade! On the other hand the cocktails and the restoration can be improved.

The hotel itself is very good, but the staff deserve the lowest ratings. It seems that the guests for them do not represent any value. They do not greet the guests first, forget to bring luggage to the room at arrival, do not control the ordered transfers, try to escape faster, pretending not to understand you when they can not solve any problem. What only is the situation when 3 people from the lobby in 40 minutes were unable to call the master in the room to solve the problem with the safe. The bed linen in two of three times turned out with stains, towels stink terrible dampness… The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The internet is quite stable, but every time you reconnect to Wi-Fi, which does not catch everywhere, you have to enter a login and password in their internal system-terribly annoying.
The hotel is in a very well-managed area. The beach for the most part rocky, during low tide do not go. And during the tide there is nowhere to sit, T. K. Everything is melting. In the photo you can see the beach.
The assessment can be easily improved if the management guess at least normally train the staff to conform to the level of 4 *, not the cheapest guesthouse. Now for this money you can find a more pleasant place on the island.

An idyllic place!
I come back from 2 weeks (13 nights) to the Crown Lanta resort on Koh Lanta Island.
We were absolutely conquered and delighted by the quality of the reception that was reserved to us, the staff is warm, knowledgeable, and really in tune with Thailand and its legend of country of smiles:)
The English spoken by the staff is correct and understandable, when we arrive, everything is done to welcome us smoothly after a long trip and jet lag.
The place is really beautiful (see photos), a total of 83 rooms and villas well spread out on this little end of the island.
The hotel had even arranged transportation from the Airport (at our request by mail) for 2500 baht.
The rooms are well distributed to ensure privacy and discretion, personally we had a room perfectly located in the hotel (the 9002) with a garden view but also a small sea view in addition ^ ^
We were next to the breakfast, the pool-bar, and the Raggae-bar (mythical and obligatory place to enjoy a beautiful sunset).
The hotel is one of the 2 most luxurious resorts on the island (the Crown Lanta for the North of the island, the Pimalai for the South).
The hotel offers daily Scooter Rentals for 300 Bahts which is very convenient as most of the rental people on the island request the Passport as collateral.

A big resort on a hilly structure. They have loads of buggies to cart everyone around if you don't like walking. We came in quiet season and loved it. Loads of staff who are very attentive and friendly. We stayed in the walk in pool which was amazing. A few bits of the hotel felt a bit dated but overall worth it.

What an amazing resort! We stayed here for three nights and couldn't have asked for more. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the restaurant is fantastic and moderately priced (USD $8-10 for a main), and the private beach is exceptional. The pool is also very nice and has plenty of room for everyone who wants to enjoy it. The staff are great and the breakfast buffet was truly exceptional. Overall this was an amazing place to stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore Koh Lanta.

Had a very pleasant stay, lovely staff and we booked one of the rooms with direct access to the pool. Loved waking up, walk out the room and jump in the pool for a swim. Breakfast meant a short walk to the restaurant. The hotel doesnt have lifts and is build on a hill so something to think about if you book. Fortunately the hotel offers a shuttle service from the rooms on the lower levels to the uphill restaurant (with a great view). Another great addition to the hotel is the reggae bar where you can chill, have cocktails and food and watch the sunset. From the hotel you have access to both a private beach as well as the public beach. So if you don't want to have lunch or dinner at the hotel (although can highly recommend their seafood BBQ! ) you have plenty of options on the beach or 2 great restaurants close to the hotel. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

The Paradise, great hotel, nothing more to say except that everything is perfect.

If your going to Koh Lanta you must visit crown Lanta. It is beautiful! From the minute we walked in to the lobby the staff were polite and friendly. We stayed in a beautiful villa with a pool overlooking the sea and Pi Pi islands. The grounds were huge and hilly but if you needed to get to other parts of the place you call for a lift and are picked up at your door. There is a private beach too which is a few minutes from the pool. This was very quiet and peaceful and a… pleasure to sit.
In the evening is a reggae reggae bar which is beautiful to sit and watch the sunrise. All in all this is a beautiful, relaxing part of Koh Lanta and must be visited.
Breakfast was lovely with lots of selection. We ordered lunch a few times which was excellent.

Beautiful resort with clean rooms and great service. Breakfast buffet is included with a wide selection of food. There are a number of events during the week, including biweekly seafood BBQ, a pool party with happy hour. It is located on a steep hill, with rooms pools and facilities at multiple levels. You can choose to take the stairs through a nice forest area or take the provided shuttle service. Two swimming pools, one with pool access to many rooms on the lower floor, and a second pool with a swim up bar. The private beach is very beautiful. The resort requires transport to the main town but is still quite close. There is a shuttle to and from 4 times a day, or alternatively 50 baht to get a tuktuk. The staff are also very helpful with organising transport or tour activities. Overall a great place to stay.

I stayed at the Crown Lanta for 4 nights in January and can honestly say it was a real pleasure. The hotel grounds are very beautiful and the staff will go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one. There is a nice swim-up pool bar, as well as a length swimming pool. Room service is quick, accurate and fantastic. The massage was equally nice. There is also a reggae night set on the beach with private cabins which was a lovely way to spend an evening. The only issue I had was with the booking of my private van back to Krabi airport — it was very late and there was a mad dash to make sure I could check in on time. The Wi-Fi is also pretty non-existent, I had to connect to data the whole time I was there. Other than that, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely come back.

When in Thailand you have to visit Koh Lanta, and when in Koh Lanta there is no better place to stay at than Crown Lanta! Tucked away yet only about 5-10 minutes from the Saladan pier. This property is beautiful, the rooms are an absolute bliss! We stayed in the Ocean view pool villa and had the time of our lives! A private pool is always a bonus but a private pool with Andaman sea ahead of you and a glimpse of the Phi Phi island is like a cherry on top! The property is huge and there is a lot of uphill walk but that is taken care of too as there are shuttles always running back & forth to drop you off. The main pool is also very refreshing and the pool bar is a great place to hang out as they serve great cocktails as well as delicious food! The cliff restaurant has a great lunch and dinner menu. The food on property is really good, no need to go elsewhere. The breakfast has a wide selection of different flavoured pancakes, waffles, egg station, thai cuisine, you name it they have it! Their Seafood BBQ buffet is a must too! Not just great food but they also have a fire show and Thai dancing that takes place and adds to the dinner experience. As for bars, when staying at Crown Lanta your evenings are sorted, they have a bar called the Reggae bar and it is the best one we have been to! A perfect vibe and a unique setting! We spent all our evenings there. Absolutely loved the spa services as well. The spa manager Sa, our therapists Aoi, Nana, Jenny & Guide were great!

Staying here was the most blissful experience of our Thailand trip! Everything from our private pool ocean view room to the scrumptious breakfast, to the seafood bbq dinner, fire show and yummy cocktails and the best bar ever (Reggae bar) we loved it all and all this has us longing to go back! Also it would be unfair to not take a moment and praise the jewel of Crown Lanta, the Reggae Bar! This was our favourite spot each evening we were there. The most perfect bar setting we have been to, and we have been to many from Asia all the way to the Caribbean! The atmosphere here is so chill and perfect. The view of the sunset is perfect! After dark they light up the rocks with candles and there is even an amazing fire show in front of the bar near the water, make sure to check the show schedule once you arrive at the property. With cool breeze, sound of crashing waves, happy hour, extensive cocktail menu, delicious food, and great music what else can you ask for?!
BUT there is more! Each group/couple gets their own cabana with lounge beds where you can sit, lie down and be absolutely comfortable while enjoying your evening! Just make sure to make prior bookings for a spot. Earlier on the same day is also fine as we did that twice and had no problem getting the perfect spot.
This place has such an incredible vibe you will never want to leave! So make sure to keep your evenings open for the Reggae Bar! The vibe of this place is addictive!

I have not stayed over night at this hotel, only visit it's pool and tried out their drinks. This is a high rank hotel and the prices are also high, but you are welcome as outside guest to use their pool. The pool is big and the bar is in the pool. Also you could go 50 stairs down to the beach and it's shaped as a lagoon with clear blue water and really nice sand mixed with seashell. The water goes down to 130 cm depths almost directly but then slows down to get deeper more slowly. I recommend to try this place. In the end of Klong Dao Beach their is easy access stairs up to this hotel.

The pool area is very nice to hang out at. The hotel Wi-Fi is very unreliable and slow. The breakfast is very nice with a wide selection. The area of ​​the hotel is on a hillside, and the roads are really steep in a few places. Free shuttle on the hotel area runs in undefined interwalls, so it isn't usually worth the wait. The floor of the hotel room was really dusty, and there are slippers in the room I would recommend for using. The toilet pipings are poorly maintained and might give water elsewhere than it should. The walls are thick, or our neighbors were just silent, but also the noise from the pool is effectively dimmed when the balcony door is closed. Spa treatments are good, the massage tables have a hole for the face and the very friendly staff gave discounts when we went there as a couple. The hotel's own beach is quiet and includes sun loungers but is also rocky. There is, of course, a lot of bugs after sunset in the area.

Very nice and well maintained hotel, great large rooms with air conditioning balcony or terrace. Big shower. Very friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Very nice beach and ideal for swimming and relaxing. The whole plant is very nicely greened with plants of any kind.

Needs renovation, house keeping needs to pull it together as rooms not very clean. Not very knowledgeable staff. During off-season no beach accessor bar at lap pool. Isolated but with decent connections to small town good for honeymooners and introverts like myself :) exceptional food, views and service tho.

Nice enough resort but it seemed a bit dated, service wasn't the best and the gym was not the cleanest. The service we experienced could have been improved at reception, in the main restaurant and the pool bar. But the Reggae bar was great for an evening drink and meal although it wasn't open the first evening (we went end of low season and thus it rained one day). There was a shuttle (or you could get a tuk tuk) to the town which had a few nicer restaurants for tasty Thai food. Loved having pool access from the room and the main pool had a nice swim up bar. Beach is rocky but pools made up for that.

Love Koh Lanta, and the Crown is nice, but is pretty aged with poor facilities. Food at the hotel restaurants (both Thai and Western) were ok but pricey. Fortunately there are great local restaurants a short tuk tuk ride away. All up, it has a nice pool, rooms are ok, location is fine, but there are lots of great options on the island that may be less dated.

A real 5 star establishment with a wide variety of food options, most with fantastic views of the sea, clean well appointed rooms, and good staff. The Resort is very large but there are little tuk Turks to take you around from one part to the next.

Beautiful rooms and facilities. The beach at the resort isn't worth going to (in my opinion), the public beach isn't far but it would have been nice to stay at a place that is actually beach front. The property is full of hills and getting to and from the lobby, rooms, restaurants etc. Feels like a bit of a hike. The resort has a shuttle which goes around regularly but it's not the most convenient process. The food was not great and food and drinks were overpriced. We enjoyed sitting at the reggae bar and watching the sunset. The person that was selling tours wasn't very helpful so we did our own research and bookings online.

Great place. The atmosphere is incredibly romantic and there are plenty of things to do in the resort (go atleast once to the Reggae Bar and co-ordinate it with the Fire show they occasionally show there). The town is a cheap 50 baht from the resort (shops and the rest). The only complaint I have is the rooms themselves (not bad but I expected more). Though I might not even have had that complaint if they'd put me on the bottom floor where the rooms were directly connected to the pool.

From the amazing personalized service to great food and spectacular amenities. We found it hard to leave the resort after our week long stay and decided last minute to extend another night. They also upgraded us, and since it was our wedding anniversary as well… it made us feel more special. The romantic dinner by the sea was amazing too, with a gorgeous sunset and a well laid set up. We're definitely coming back!

Stayed in the pool villa on top of the hill. The villa was nice, all facilities were there, clean pool, amazing view from the terrace, nice big beds, great shower, the living room was nice too. The staff is extremely friendly, help you 24/7 with a smile. But as soon as you turned off the A/C there was a mouldy smell in the room, same for the bathroom, there was a damp mouldy smell. Not sure what to think of this when the room prices are at this level. Then, the food… everything was fresh, but the cooking was average at its best and way too expensive. I have eaten so much better food in classy restaurants throughout Thailand for a fraction of the price in Crown… Imo, everything was overpriced and a bit overrated. It was a wonderful experience to stay here, but won't come back.

Fantastic location. Stayed in suite which was essentially its own building as is so often common in Asian resorts. Private beach awesome.

We stayed in the pool villa. The view was beautiful and the location was perfect. The hotel pool is aweseome with a swim up bar and built in pool seating and pool beds. Breakfast is delicious with tons of options. There's a private and a public beach. The reggae bar is much more than a reggae bar… Beautiful views! Hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. We rented a car and looped the entire island in a day. Recommend this place for sure.

Our Wedding stay at Crown Lanta It was ridiculously amazing! After careful searching across Google we decided to organise are special day at Crown Lanta Spa & Resort. As soon as I sent the first email to Crown Lanta, Mr Nine was emailing me pictures, Menu’s and questionnaires. We sent the pictures and colour schemes of wanted and when we got there it was just as expected and more. On arrival we were treated like royalty, every single member of staff (and there are allot) knew us by name and could not be more helpful tending to every need or request and more, as a resort the views from room’s, the facility’s and the food is exceptional. Now for the day, we were hesitant on arrival of what to expect but at our leisure we went to a meeting with the Boss Mr Aye, our wedding planner Mr Nine and June our coordinator, this meeting was amazing they laid out the plan for our big day asked if we wanted to change or add anything and put us at complete ease that they had everything under control and they most certainly did. From the get go on the day there was an entourage of people setting up and a entourage of people tending to my wife’s needs, make up artists, hair dressers, camera men/women and Mr Nine and June making sure they was all doing what they needed to be doing. The day went flawlessly from ceremony to good food, wine and fireworks we really could not of wanted anything more.

Incredible place to stay. 2 pool areas and a few places to eat on site. Easy access to 1 rocky beach and 1 sandy beach. Friendly staff and a free shuttle bus to the local town. Either a pool access room or not a pool access room will do. To get a tan its easy. Hit the pool hit the beach and go and see this amazing island.

Great views from the pool rooms — but not worth the money. They get no sun (all rays blocked by trees so no chance of an all over tan). They are lovely rooms tho. Great breakfast for Thailand.

Goods on our honeymoon here super system necessarily take the Villa.
