When in Thailand you have to visit Koh Lanta, and when in Koh Lanta there is no better place to stay at than Crown Lanta! Tucked away yet only about 5-10 minutes from the Saladan pier. This property is beautiful, the rooms are an absolute bliss! We stayed in the Ocean view pool villa and had the time of our lives! A private pool is always a bonus but a private pool with Andaman sea ahead of you and a glimpse of the Phi Phi island is like a cherry on top! The property is huge and there is a lot of uphill walk but that is taken care of too as there are shuttles always running back & forth to drop you off. The main pool is also very refreshing and the pool bar is a great place to hang out as they serve great cocktails as well as delicious food! The cliff restaurant has a great lunch and dinner menu. The food on property is really good, no need to go elsewhere. The breakfast has a wide selection of different flavoured pancakes, waffles, egg station, thai cuisine, you name it they have it! Their Seafood BBQ buffet is a must too! Not just great food but they also have a fire show and Thai dancing that takes place and adds to the dinner experience. As for bars, when staying at Crown Lanta your evenings are sorted, they have a bar called the Reggae bar and it is the best one we have been to! A perfect vibe and a unique setting! We spent all our evenings there. Absolutely loved the spa services as well. The spa manager Sa, our therapists Aoi, Nana, Jenny & Guide were great! So polite and excellent at their job! We went in for a couple’s aroma therapy massage and boy we came out like new people. All our stress and aches gone and we were way too relaxed after that, the best massage we have had in a long time. They are excellent at their job! Also got mani pedi done and was very impressed with that as well. And the tea they serve at the end of the treatment is beyond good. We finished the entire pot!
The hotel has a private beach as well which is nice and very peaceful, not many people or hardly any while we were there so that was great for us as we had the beach all to ourself and just one other couple. They have chairs kept so you can just relax, read a book or go take a dip. Also the service is great, the staff, the management everyone is just so attentive to all their guests. Even the management makes it a point to stop by and say hello and check-up on you which is a great personal touch!
