We stayed at the Dusit Princess for eight days and our experience was nothing short of pleasing. This hotel is right in the centre of where most of the action happens in Chiang Mai. The rooms are somewhat outdated, however the staff were exceptionally attentive to our needs. Most staff understood and spoke limited English which made it easier. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Recommend this hotel most definitely.

1. Service were very good 2. Picked up by arm at airport and our lugguges were sent to our rooms promptly 3. Returned to airport also by private van at reasonal price … 4. We stored the luggage on day of return and they helped us packing 2 boxes of fruit and vegetables efficently 5. Buffet breakfast were good 6. Food and service (sing) at Jasmine restaurant are good, offered 20% discount but coupon 1000 b for 600 b until 30jun not available? 7. Reception desks are helpful 8. The water flow in shower could be faster.

Great location, bit dated decor (stayed here in 1999) but well kept, large rooms, good value for money.

A nice hotel. We stayed in four Dusit resorts during our trip to Thailand, this was our least favorite. In comparison to the other resorts these rooms were smaller and not as luxurious. The rooms were very nice for sleeping, but not a place we wanted to hang out and enjoy room service. There is plenty to do right outside the hotel door so we didn't want to hangout in the hotel much anyway. Hotel is right in the middle of the night market. So the afternoons around the hotel are filled with noise and activity of setting up booths. Also right around the corner from the Hard Rock Cafe where live music plays most evenings.

I stayed here for four nights with my family. Which I regret. The lobby was beautiful, fully furnished with powerful air conditioning. But that’s how they fool you! The rooms were outdated. My rooms AC didn’t work the whole time. So we would be sweating at night and uncomfortable. Bathrooms are outdated. My parents stayed in their triple deluxe room with my Uncle and Aunt and that was only on the smokers floor. So the entire floor was smelly and even got into their rooms. Their Wi-Fi didn’t work the whole time we were there. Would work for a minute and log off. They charged $1000 baht a night for extra bed. So for 2 of our rooms we needed extra beds and yes we paid 8000 baht for 4 nights! Which comes out to about $260 usd. Had we known about that we probably wouldn’t have come to this hotel. Their breakfast was really bad compared to other hotels we stayed at. Flavorless meals that was a huge disappointment for how much we paid for this place. We ended up just heading to the streets to get breakfast and not eat at the hotel. Their hotel staff was just ok. They all spoke English but had better hotel staff at other locations. The only good thing about this place was the location. If you want to be in the heart of everything, then this is right there. Majority of things to do are walking distance or a short ride to and from. But overall, I would not recommend this place. Search for better deals.

A history of the four-star hotel location is super convenient, night downstairs is the department of the night market let relax is opposite, there are a large number of restaurants in the vicinity of the Department of the Wild and wild, there are bone hammer not good both the room feeling began to old, but the victory in the clean pool.

Kind of old hotel. Well maintained. Breakfast needs to add better cereals such as granola and oats.

We were 3 people in a room of a siza of an apartment clean and neat, breakfast was nice as well. The location is absolutley perfect! Do not doubt this is the besy hotel in Chiang Mai.

We bought ‘special discount’ tickets at the CM ballon festival that we’re supposed to be about 50% off for dim sum ‘all you can eat’ lunch at Jasmine’s. On visiting yesterday we found that the standard charge was the same price as the vouchers so immediately we felt cheated.
The server was friendly, spoke good English and at first appeared attentive. This soon changed when not writing down our order. She got the correct items but only half the quantity requested! Food was very slow to arrive and one order placed 40 minutes before closing failed to arrive at all! The food quality was hot and tasty. The portions are minuscule to it is essential to keep ordering early to get anywhere near a reasonable meal. We were there for two and a half hours but left still feeling a little hungry.
It is very unlikely that we would return to this establishment.

Great location, main night market Street, nice rooms, good breakfast with excellent coffee, which is not often available in Thailand.

The Dusit Princess is a recommended hotel. What counts is still the friendliness of the staff. The rooms are well kept clean, the breakfast is rich and the location is excellent, as you end up at the hotel directly in the Nightbazar. There is also a swimming pool for guests to relax in.

It was a very nice hotel and it was very close to the airport. The breakfast was very good A little disappointing dinner because our set menu only included a dish without being able to choose and for two nights we were served the same thing.

The rooms are quite big and the hotel is decorated nicely. The breakfast has vast variety of food. The only disadvantage was the view from the room which was car parking… It is right where the market is which is great! Just go outside and you are in the heart if the market and restauranta.

Arrived yesterday for a 7night stay hotel is in excellent position right in middle of night market our delux room is large and very comfortable asked for extra pillows and they were done immediately very good service. Breakfast is buffet with a wide choice of dishes would certainly recommend this hotel.

Fine hotel but mostly for people who are willing to pay the price. We had 4 nights and nothing to complain about really (besides sand/ in the water the first night). Got upgraded to a suite and the staff was kind, helpful and always smiling. We however find the price too high so we will not necessarily return.

A nice hotel with a very friendly staff. The location in the middle of the Chiang Mai Night market is perfect for exploring the city. The old town is within 15 minutes walking distance and the riverside is about 10 minutes away. It has plenty of bars, shops, massage studios and restaurants in the area.
The rooms are clean and spacious. What you lack in contrast to the modern designed lobby is an overhaul.

Very clean hotel and nice central location. However very loud if your room is near the road. Staff are great. Rooms fairly decent but bathroom is a bit dated. If using as a base to go exploring like we did then it's great as night market is right out side.

Stayed here for three nights during my visit to Chiang Mai. The location is great right on the night walking street and close to the temples. The hotel is older but it is clean and well taken care off.

Older hotel but renovated nicely. Rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is very freindly. It was a pleasure to stay here.

Wonderful service and location very close to night market.

Nice place right on the edge of the night bazaar so there is entertainment on your doorstep every night. Check in was good and any issues you have will be sorted out there and then. Good pool and useable gym next to pool. Biggest gripe! I needed water when in the gym and was charged 10 times the cost of the shop next to the entrance. There is absolutely no need for that type of inflated price especially as they would willingly leave you free water in the room on a daily basis. A beer in the lobby bar is only a couple of bht more than outside the hotel so why rip people off for water when they are working out? Would have given 5 stars otherwise. When leaving for the airport or train station grab one of the red bht-busses outside as the taxis try to rip you off. 200 for taxi or 100 for red bus.

Hotel with great location clean rooms.

Stayed here for business trip 4-5 months ago, I was impressed with a comfortable room and good services. Here is the place where I always think of first when my colleagues or I have a trip in Chiangmai. I felt impressed until I would like to make a reservation again today and asked for an information from reservation staff but it made me disappointed with very unfriendly staff that I never thought I would see at Dusit. However, I tried to call back reservation division and asked for the information again from the other staff, she was very friendly and helpful. Finally, I have a reservation again. Thank you for kindly arrangement and hopefully, I will not be disappointed again.

Very good location near the night market, long but still walking distance from the old city. Rooms are OK but need modernization, and some has a so great smell. Breakfast is also OK, but not the greatest we had.

A very pleasant stay. Staff so helpful 1st class.

Though the location is excellent but the hotel is sooooo noisy. The cars and motorbicks sound all the time specially at night is disturbing too much. Neverthless in which floor you stay if somebody is there in the swimming pool you want be able to sleep because of the noise. And even you can hear the steps of the people staying above u. I asked for a waghing scale to waigh my bags they said that they dont have.

Value for money good but don't expect luxury. However hotel is very well located in the middle of the night bazaar and 2 steps from the old town and the river.

Good value for money. Well located. But rooms are quite tired. You won't order room service twice. The pool water was slightly salty. There seems to be some ongoing construction.

You camn easily make a morning call at 11pm.
