A very very nice place to stay in chiangmai. Nice ambiance hotel. The hotel have a riverfront cafe too. Great food although a bit expensive. One of my favourite place during my short visit there.

My family is visiting from Houston, Texas and we are impressed by the quality of this hotel. That said, we would have made a different choice of hotel had we known they charge for an extra person (mother-in-law) that we didn’t originally know was coming when we made the reservation. Our extra guest doesn’t need any additional facilities like a rollaway bed and turned down breakfast, but we are getting charged for her anyway. You’ll enjoy your stay here as the facilities are great, but expect some surprise charges if your reservation is anything but standard.

Good location, stylish hotel but inattentive staff and humid rooms. The rooms are spacious, the design is modern and the hotel itself looks stylish but not like a boutique hotel. What was negative was that the rooms were super humid even we left the aircon turned on for a while. Also, the staff wasn’t really attentive. We ordered a shirt from the nightmarket and the staff didn’t even tell us that it has been delivered 2 days before already. We had to approach them to ask and they were rather playing online games at the reception. Anyways, the location of the hotel is quite nice with walking distance to the old town of Chiang Mai and the hotel itself is stylish.

A perfectly pleasant place to lay my head. It didn't set my world on fire, but then it doesn't always need to. Water in the bathroom being warm enough was an issue they couldn't seem to fix.

What a neat hotel. Everything was so clean and modern. Loved the gym, loved the pool, really — really loved the breakfast. It was so good. Only stayed here one night, wish we stayed longer in Chiang Mai and at this hotel. Amazing experience.

Pros: -Location is pretty good, though Chiang Mai is a walkable city. -Rooms and decor are clean and nice, really contemporary style if that's your thing. -Staff is friendly and we had a friendly check-in. Cons: -Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi is pretty terrible and the staff made little effort to fix it. I don't think this is isolated to our room since a number of people are usually in the lobby. -Breakfast is decent, but what I would consider slightly below average for a hotel in this price range in Thailand.

We had a awesome stay here. Rooms were very nice and modern. Great cold AC. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location close to east gate. Really good breakfast was included with our room.

A calm quiet hotel near the old city wall and a short step from lots of vibrant activity. The staff were polite and helpful but unintrusive.

Great experience for our trip to Chaing Mai. We wanted a close location to 'walking lane' for the Sunday night markets. Rooms are very clean and great size. The service was impeccable and they all speak relatively fluent English which made our stay a little easier. Quality breakfast buffet, small pool and gym. Great location and quiet street. Bedding was very comfortable. Recommend for a relatively low budget accommodation.

Great breakfast, quiet hotel and neighborhood just a 2 min walk from everything. Don't be deterred by the ally/small streets. They're very safe. I'm finicky and would stay here again.

A very nice boutique hotel situated in the heart of Chiang Mai. Wonderful staff, attention to detail, kindness and eager to please. Breakfast excellent, and truly the hotel restaurant is a real delightful discovery. The food overall was amazing. Missing already all the ladies at the reception and the waiting staff. Highly recommended!

This is a very homely, very clean and extremely well located hotel. I'd highly recommend it to anybody visiting Chiang Mai. We loved our stay here and would definitely come again.

Wonderful hotel. Well located for the night market and for various Wats to visit. The hotel has a small pool, modern facilities and good breakfast.

The hotel itself is brand new, stylish and overall nice surroundings. There were too many small flaws, such as water temperature in the shower unable to be regulated… you freeze or burn and no choosing. The uneven floor in bathroom leads to constant battling with water after a shower. The breakfast was basic, but adequate and the complimentary chocolates replenished daily a nice touch. The gym was great for a small hotel. Overall, there are a lot of hotels in Chiang Mai in this price bracket, so consider your priorities.

I really enjoyed my stay at De Chai the Deco in Chiang Mai. Every staff member I encountered at the hotel was courteous and helpful. I felt like they went out of their way on multiple occasions to make sure we were having a great stay. The best example of this is when they booked an adventure for us to the Chang Sanctuary north of the city (highly recommend this too by the way! ). They knew we had to be ready to leave by 7am, so they kindly packed a to-go breakfast for everyone in my family for no extra charge. I couldn't believe this! No hotel in any of the countries I've visited has done something so nice for my family without being asked to. The suite we stayed in was also very nice. Each of the bedrooms had separate climate control, and a master switch to control all the lighting and climate. When we checked in, we were given a demo by the bellhop to show us how it all works. The bathrooms were nice as well. Good shower with a strong flow and hot water, along with plenty of toiletries. Finally, the location is good too. They're close to the east city gate, where there's a pretty cool night market on the weekends. They also had free parking for our car. I can't wait to stay here again on my next visit to Chiang Mai!

This is by far one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff are delightful and the rooms are elegant, clean, and modern. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a glass of juice. We were still recuperating from a bad AirBnB experience so we arrived early in the morning but because it is low season, the hotel was able to allow us to check-in earlier than the usual which was very much appreciated. It is within walking distance to the Old Town which was extremely important to us because we were not comfortable renting motorbikes. I will be staying here again in the future when I return to beautiful Chiang Mai.

Nice surroundings and good location.

I sent my in laws for a night of accommodation here. When I drop them off, I asked the stuffs for a restroom. Then they asked me to go to the stuffs' restroom near car parks. Seriously, I didn't really mind going to stuffs' restroom at all. But shouldn't the hotel consider anyone who visits their hotel as one of their guests?! Enough with the human classification!
