Pandora is a lovely resort with great food and friendly, helpful staff. The salt water pools are glorious!

Would recommend it but some staff are lazy & just keep using their phones. When you asked for a towel to use in the swimming pool area coz you don’t see one nearby, they’d tell you no more & that’s it. They won’t help you get a towel. Room is okay but they only provide two big towels, no small ones. And they don’t provide beach towel as well. Seem like they don’t have enough towels. Overall, not too bad.

It’s my second time staying at Pandora Resort. Last April my friends and I went to stayed for 3 nights then last week. We came back and stayed for 5 nights. We love the place very quiet and friendly staffs. Not to mention the pool is very Instagram friendly. We diffidently coming back.

Booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for 6 we loved it that much! 2 brilliant swimming pools, rooms are perfectly clean and the bed was the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. Zayn the manager is a great guy and very welcoming. Food is also brilliant. Yah is a very helpful man behind the counter who helped us to get our laundry done! Jane behind the bar is unreal there’s also a couple who own a condo there who are constantly sat around the bar called Eddie and Juliet, they seem to run the place and if you visit make sure you ask him for a drink, he loves a big bar bill. Hopefully be back to pandora again in the near future! Scott.

Staff are friendly and speak excellent English. Pandora is a total chill out place, it’s well organised and just the tonic for a relaxed break.

A hidden gem in Koh Samet. My first time on this island has been made great and memorable staying at this resort. Good food, great service and hospitality is exemplary. Would definitely come back.

ห้องสะอาดดี วิวดี บรรยากาศดี คุ้มค่าคุ้มราคา อาหารอร่อย ผิดหวังกะรถเช่าอย่างเดว คือวันละสามร้อยนะ แต่ได้รถไม่ค่อยดี พูดง่ายๆคือรถเก่า ผ่อนเครื่องแล้วดับ น้ำมันมีให้แค่ลิตเดว และต้องไปเติมลมเอง ซึ่งเราไม่รู้ว่าร้านที่เติมลมอยู่ที่ไหน… สุดท้ายต้องเอารถไปคืน เดินออกจากโรงแรมไม่ไกลมาเจอร้านให้เช่ามอไซด์ บริการดีมาก วันละสามร้อยน้ำมันเต็มถัง รถใหม่ขับแบบสบายใจ เจ้าของร้านใจดีน่ารักมากมาย ซึ่งมันแตกต่างกันมากๆๆๆๆ

Nice, quiet hotel. Spacious rooms, huge TV, oven, fridge, kettle. Air conditioning in each room. 2 pools, a sea of greenery around. On the back side of the hull in the meter begins the jungle. The location is very close to the shops and restaurants. But not charged tourist fee 200 Baht per person, because it is not in the reserve. Reception employees speak English on a very decent level, not as usual in Thailand.

Really nice resort, nice staff and Gary in the Kitchen delivers great food. The pool area is perfekt. Well worth the money for that location on the island…

When we checked in, they were cleaning the room and I noticed some rather unpleasant smell, but staff said, hey, it's from cleaning and it will go off. Unfortunately I trusted them and it didn't went off :) You want to come to you room chilled and go to you comfy bed? Surprise, surprise, your sheets were already dirty *before* you moved in. And you have a pleasant morning, when staff is saying, hey, *you* should check your room before you move in, so it is your fault, sorry:) What a nice guys they are, just give them your. And you cannot get clean bed sheets at night, sorry guys, because "everybody is sleeping". Undoubtedly a nonsense place. This was our second room here, the first was ok, not very clean, but at least without smell and dirty sheets. That is why everything was a surprise for us when we came from the beach at night relaxed, preparing for a good sleep. And of course I didn't paid a full price for that. And the pool is nice, yeah, as long as you can live with smell and dirtiness. Oh, and there is a construction site in front of the place.

Ok… room never cleaned today… Too many people staying and not enough staff.

This is a great resort! The food is lovely! Nice place to relax and chill! If you go to koh samet, this is the best place to stay!

This is my 1st time in Thailand. Due to unusual bad weather on the south West coast. I detoured back to Bangkok and decided to see Koh Samet. I searched where to stay. (always scary) this hotel is everything I wanted and more. The location is perfect. The apartments are luxurious. Best night sleep I have had so far. Very clean pool side apartment. The swimming pool and the grounds are immaculate. What makes this hotel is the staff here. Nothing is too much trouble. As an "older" backpacker with rheumatoid arthritic legs getting about is difficult. I had no difficulty here at all. The manager here Gary ensured I had everything I needed and even took me out on his bike for a little tour. Best day I've had here in Thailand. He made my stay here so enjoyable and comfortable. I would love to come back to koh Samet and stay at this hotel again. Ps Fantastic! Breakfast!

It was obviously built cheaply. The walls are thin, and some walls are yet to be painted. When I went, it was next to a construction site. It is relatively secluded, but also more difficult to get to than other hotels on the island. When we first got here, our room smelt of mould, but we were quickly transferred. The side of the island that it is on is dirty and polluted, as it faces the mainland, so you'll need to travel a bit to get to a beach. The pools are great. They are large and interesting, as well as clean. Showers aren't too good, and are fairly weak. Beds are good.

My girlfriend and had only one night. Overall was really good, good food and good size rooms. The bar and the swimming pool are amazing. Food top. Notch.

When we stayed part of the Hotel was under construction, it didn't bother us because it wasn't noisy but all the surrounding was dirty. Other wise the staff was friendly.

A quiet resort away from the hustle and bustle. 2 swimming pools and large sized rooms. They have a bar and can serve food although limited choice with the food. A short stroll will take you to some places to eat or a 45 min stroll to silver sands resort for a bit of night life. Alternatively you can hire a motorbike or get a taxi.

We were couple travelling in Thailand, of course, we wanted to save money and we didn't take expensive hotels, but this is was too much for us.
The hotel was booked for 2 days in April
we arrived afternoon, (tip: if you only have backpacks take a scooter on the pier, it will be much cheaper) at the entrance of the hotel there is construction on the side of the road (There is another one inside of the hotel), there is no real reception in the hotel, it`s a pool bar with (kind of reception), so we got our key to the room and this are the condition of the room:
There is no closet, only kind of wall outlet (see pictures),
the sofa was dirty,
there were only 2 big towels in the room and when we asked for more the staff was not friendly at all and said we only supply 2 towels, nevertheless, they gave us more towels and said it just to keep us satisfied
Some of the walls were crumbling
you can't lock the door from the inside so room service can come in anytime
the sign on the door is made out of the paper and it can turn easily on the door outside from the wind (so stupid)
The showers, well I can`t even call it a shower, hard to explain.

No Wi-Fi in our room and the guy at the reception refused to offer any kind of discount or the change to room. Very unfortunate.

Nice, new hotel. Large clean rooms. Just that the place around is dirty due to builder works in progress.
