The room was very spacious and clean! The service was impeccable, being greeted with a drink and cool towel on arrival from their complimentary speedboat.

Wonderful resort. Quiet. A bit isolated from the hustle of the east side of the island but that is a good thing. The Thai food was great at the Buzz. The person helping arrange snorkeling and renting equipment was very informative and we had an awesome afternoon of snorkeling.

Peacefull hotel with a beutiful clean beach. Good service and tasty food.

First of all: if u book a room at the ao prao resort u get a free speed boat to your hotel. Aaaand back — very comfy. The rooms are big, clean and expensive. But for that level of comfort and the private beach the price is… maybe a little bit too much but still ok. But the one star is not missing because of the price… it was the food where I was disappointed… too expensive and not good as expected. Also the possibilities what u get after 9pm are low. Only one restaurant open and nothing else u can do. U can take a walk to the "city" (15minutes) but I am not sure if I would do that during the night (no pavements) so you would have to take a taxi every time. So if wanne have a quite place to stay with a nice clean beach its a good place to stay.

Beatiful paradise to relax. The only area I would work on is the Italian restaurant in their sister hotel a few metres away. Expensive prices but very low quality.

They do most everything well. Beautiful spot, excellent breakfast. Only nitpicks would be desire for better English among staff, daily staffing of poolside bar, not ruining dinner ambience with the schmaltziest singer you can imagine. Still, for Thailand and the price, 4.5 stars.

It was a great place to have a good breakfast. Consumption clearly too expensive for the country but standing at the rendezvous.

A place to feel good, crystal clear water for swimming, scuba diving and snorkeling. The staff is very friendly and satisfies many wishes. The AO Prao Resort can be recommended with a good conscience.

I hurt myself on a sawed-off branch by the pool, 9 stitches. No oncoming management, no excuse, nothing… I'm very dissatisfied. Before the police came, the branch was sawed off further and was then no longer findable… A tragedy. Friendly only as long as you pay diligently. And don't leave the resort! Worst stink and rubbish in this "nature reserve".

Was a great location and we had an amazing time, but the rooms are quite basic and it's a bit out of the way of the main town for getting food etc. Looks proper traditional Thai which was nice.

Last time visitting ws 20years ago. So many things are changed. The price is 3times of 20years ago. It was 200 dollers per night. But it cant be helped. The sky is dirty now, so u cant see many stars ar night. The beach looks ok still now. U can see many fishes, must have snorkeling mask. Cuz snorkeling boat is 220dollers. Thai food was best while this tour to Bangkon and Ko Samed. The room and bath room was so clean. If u wanna have quiet time, here is good hotel.

Beautiful space, great food, great staff, definitely a site to see!

A wonderful holiday I spent there! The rooms are spotless, clean, spacious, nicely decorated… Every day there are four bottles of water in the room… also fruit was plentiful…
The facility itself is very very nice. Everything with natural materials, which makes the whole thing very impressive… no Betonwege but wooden walkways and a beautiful lighting! The beach is very clean and care is taken that the beds are only used by the hotel Guests. Of course everyone can lie down in the sand on the beach, but in November of December there was definitely plenty of room for everyone on the beautiful Beach.
I really can recommend the resort to one of the most beautiful places on the island… All very very nice, helpful and friendly!
A tiny little bit of criticism: when you sit down for dinner, you have to either get the waiter yourself or wait a long time for someone to come…
The food in the Breeze restaurant was good and pricey also completely okay. Clearly already about twice as expensive as in other places of the island, but still in the frame…
Whoever comes here, will definitely go away with a good feeling again!
I would highly recommend it and even come back!

Very quiet, only a few people around, enough space on the beautiful beach, friendly and good staff. Easy to connect to the restvof the nice island.

One of 3 hotels on Aow Phrao beach on Samed island. This hotel is the middle in terms of price, but in itself is very well appointed and has currently been updated. Very nice rooms and view. The rooms are large and bedding is top notch. The shower water pressure and temperature control could be better though. Unfortunately the dining experience is below expectations on all fronts.

Quiet, and nice location. Luxurious.

Easy access from the resort pier by the private speed boat, quite private beach, excellent meals, perfect sunset and comfortable villas and rooms. Some rooms located on a hill are not easy to access but nobody can bother us. Some staffs are needed to be trained more. You can see lots of corals and many kinds of fishes at the south side of the beach. Most of always the sea is peaceful during our stays in the end of April every year.

Dear Khun Winnie and Ao Prao Resort staff, My family and I has just checked out from your resort yesterday (5/2/17). I would like to thank Khun Winnie and all the associates as well as to share my unforgetable experiences to all travellers here. My impression starts from the beginning of our arrival at Saeree Baanpae lounge. The lounge was spacious and was so convenient with a coffee shop and a very nice greenery rest room. As an advance alert that my mom got half-body-handicap and cannot walk properly, the staff escorted her to the pier as a very first person to make sure she could take time manage herself on the boat (with lots of help from staff). Once we arrived the island (with 5-6 staff assisting my mom getting off the boat), a staff with a wheel chair was there waiting accompanied with 2 Front Desk officers standing there welcome. We were welcomed by a chilled herbal drink while check in. The Check in process was as fast as you could ever imagin (around 3 minutes). The staff escorted us to the room with our luggages delivered just 1 second after we entered the room. The room was gorgeous with a distinctive lemongrass smell. Our incredible beach view was right in front of our balcony and it was just 10-second-walk to the beach! The sea was so clear that everything underbeath could be seen! And my family and I had so much joy swimming with different kinds of fish surrounding especially around the rocks area. Room service was so fast and the food tasted great!

Awesome place for a holiday, infact one of the best ones I have been to with a beach pool villa. It just amazing.

Great location. But bad service saw the luxury you brag about. Prices from luxury without real confort. No one speaks English. So bring an interpreter.

I spent here part of my honeymoon trip. Wonderful Resort. The service is great. Only negative note the sea. Nice, but you recommend to go there when we are summer because of the monsoons.

I have been to this place a few times! Always have a good time! They do have a speed boat service! Awesome place to come to relax. It is almost in your private beach! All may friends love it as well!
