Quality of new rooms is excellent, good customer service but the breakfast is still not hot enough which is the only thing letting the hotel down.

I LOVE this hotel, it has the 360 view of Bangkok city, love the room refurbishment very contemporary with 3 TVs in bedroom, living and bathroom, the highlight of this hotel are: their amazing staff very considerate, polite and helpful. They will go extra mile to assist you.

Great place to stay for a long vacay. The staff was wonderful, from the doorbell person, concierge, receptionist and housemaid. They made us feel welcome and was helpful with my dad. The Spa team was awesome. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. They had everything for us. The plus side is have multiple restaurants there and being connecting to The MBK shopping center. And very convenient for shopping and getting knick knacks. I will be planning another trip and plan to stay there.

The best hotel in Bangkok with the best service I had so far: Pathumwan Princess Hotel, Bangkok On arrival at the hotel, the complete management and club lounge staff greeted me in front of my hotel room, which was decorated with balloons and pictures of me at the terrace. Later the German Chef himself brought me some sweet compliments from his kitchen. After l the medical appointment I took a nap and the afternoon tea with snacks had been served by the club lounge staff, who announced at the same time that happy hour drinks & dinner will be served in 2h! Pathumwan Princess hotel is just amazing! I highly recommend it to everyone coming to Bangkok.

The food is very good, authentic Thai taste. The atmosphere is simple but elegant. My favourite menu is Pad Thai and Duck crepe.

I loved staying at this hotel! The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful, and it’s in a great location. It’s about an hour walk away from Khaosan Road, but if you’re willing to pay for a taxi to and from the road, it’s completely worth it. The hotel is close to many malls and amazing restaurants, and the facilities in the building are are clean and up to date. When we were checking out, we decided to grab dinner on our way to the airport. The staff allowed us to leave our baggage at the hotel until we could pick it up after eating. I definitely recommend staying here.

The last couple of days in Thailand we stayed at this fantastic hotel! Personal is very friendly and helpful. The service is excellent, the facilities regarding sports is outstanding. There is something for everyone in the family. Close to shopping and entertainment. Probably the best hotel we stayed in during our visit to Thailand.

I've stayed here the last 20yrs (since when they 1st open their doors), too many times to count (at least 400 nights), many staff are long serving, and never fail to recognise me, they are extremely polite and helpful (I would actually consider this my home away from home! ).

Great location with easy accessible to train station and its directly above MBK. Swim pool dept is at 1.3m. No kids pool. Good breadfast with 2 different venues to choose from. Superior room comes w bathtub for families w kids since there isnt a kids pool. Lots of food and entertainment choices from MBK. Great value for money. Will be back.

We were impressed by the exceptional service provided by all employees we encountered throughout our 3 day stay at the Princess Hotel. In addition, the buffet breakfast is very well organised and the facilities are extensive and we'll run. A well deserved 5 out of 5 rating.

Third year in store we have stayed here. We have had the same room each time and loved it.
The room was huge and on a corner so we had views on 2 sides of the building 26 floors up. It could though do with a refresh and modernization.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too hard. The breakfast buffet is plentiful.
Position was excellent with MBK and Siam and Sky Rail very close by.
Hopefully will be back again next year.

Standard 5 stars hotel, Rooms are clean and modern, service and staff is great, what is truly amazing about this hotel is the location, your are inside the MBK Mall with access to at least 8 other mall within walking distance and links to the sky train and walk, really hard to beat deal. the swiming pool is large. breakfast is avarage, staff are very accommodating thought. MBK mall can be accessed in the second floor directly next to the elevators. the room has nice lighting included in the pictures. overall We will come here again and definitely I recommend the hotel especially if you want to be in the heart of Bangkok with all what comes with it.

Hotel Luxury and comfortable if you manage to find a promo on the rooms. Very spacious and well appointed rooms. The feast is the fitness facilities, the large outdoor swimming pool (worthy of sports equipment) and the Jacuzzis. The lobby is very nice. Very helpful staff.

Period August 2016! Family travel 11 pers including teens and babies 18 months! Very well placed HOTEL with direct entrance to MBK shopping centre!
The rooms are clean but not very large… We had taken standard rooms… All the amenities on foot! Very good to visit Bangkok in a few days!
Attention the prices of the rooms on site are relatively more expensive!

Excellent location, next to the pile of general shopping malls, senior department stores, there are two nearby MRT stations, traffic in all directions. Room equipment is slightly older, the environment is very clean, here the staff service is very kind. Want to go shopping massage, want to eat a variety of food, want to see the night view, here can be satisfied!

This would have to be the best hotel in Bangkok regarded to location. Situated attached to MBK shopping mall which has 6 floors of shopping. The hotel l would give 100% rating, staff are so polite and can’t do enough for you. Has a huge swimming for anyone that
likes swimming. Overall we had a great 10 days with not one complaint.

This is where I always stay whenever I return to Bangkok. A home away from home. Hotel staffs are all polite though they are not all fluent in English. Services are excellent most of the time & rooms are clean & spacious though it has certainly gotten a little more run down over the years. Location is good as hotel is linked with MBK & National Stadium BTS. Prices are a little on the high side but acceptable given all factors I've mentioned. Have tried some other hotels every once in a while but always return to this one in the end.

We spent two weeks at the hotel. The hotel is very convenient. It has direct access to MBK where you can get everything: shopping, food, cinema. Rooms are very large. Families with 1 child can take a room with 3 beds. We spent a few days at the hotel and MBK without leaving the building. The pool is huge. The hotel has a well-equipped fitness centre. Of course the hotel is no longer the latest. The staff is Thailand typically friendly. I will definitely recommend it.

Hotel with good location. Rooms are good & spacious. Nice restaurant for breakfast. Helpfull concierge & bellboy. Our family stay for 2 nites. But we dissapointed with reception during check in. We had request thru agent to have rooms on same floor for our family who use 6 rooms when we made reservation. Before check in to Pathumwan Princess, our family had use 2 others hotel in bangkok & huahin which no problem at all.
We arrived late around 10pm at hotel for check in, found out the reception give rooms in 3 different floor. When we request to change but had to argue n wait soo long about 1 Hour just to get rooms! We're very tired and feel sad for our elder member. Really bad experience during check in with unprofesional & not friendly staff. Hopefully not happen again in the future.

Best hotel in Bangkok. Have stayed here 12 times. Rooms are great. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast and night buffets are awesome. Gym is the best I have encountered in any hotel. Location is the best.

Nice hotel. Clean, cozy, quite quiet. Near BTS. For me the main drawback was the swimming pool-large, clean and beautiful, but it is entirely under the sun. A pair of canopies over a pair-triplets of sunbeds are not considered.

Very well placed hotel next to the MBK Center (direct access via the hotel). Delicious breakfast. Great pool and very helpful staff. We have for our money even if for Thailand it is not given! We had a very modern 18th room with a beautiful view. It's a real luxury hotel.

Nice, in the shopping Mall, a night out shopping is very convenient, but shopping from low-end to high-end malls are very near. Facilities perfect, and staff very polite. The room is also very large. Rejoice not because the province a couple of hundred to stay near the IBIS on. The hotel is really good! The rooms are pretty fine. What's better is that it is connected to a shopping mall (MBK) so you can shop anytime you like while you family or friend is resting in the room.

Overall the hotel facilities is good. Rooms and surrounding clean and neat. Staff polite and helpful.

A very nice ambiance with great views, roof terrace, Hotelgym, sports fields and club lounge. The rooms are very nice and spacious furnished. An extra bed can be requested without any problems. For shopping enthusiasts, the hotel is perfectly located on 4 adjoining, oversized shopping malls. Stops for the Skytrain are nearby and if needed, the hotel will call a taxi to get you the one for little money. We were very pleased. It is a non-smoking hotel, but has advertised smoking areas.

A very nice stay in the executive suite. The room was huge and featured a spacey living area with luxury utilities that had a comfortable design appeal. The tennis court was located very beautifully at the roof where a big pool also could be found. The gym was very big and provided all kind of equipment one could need. The breakfast was also very good!

Hotel that gives direct access to the MBK center! It's not bad even if it's not the busiest Cartier in Bangkok.

Very friendly customer service and great efficiency in doing things. Great breakfast service and rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. Extremely convenient as it also links to MBK Centre for shopping.

The hotel is connected to the MBK Centre which is adjacent to the National Stadium station. Siam Square is just on the opposite side of the street. Location is good. The hotel also has an excellent gym with lots of equipment. I’ve never seen a hotel with a gym better than this!

Accompanied by my mom aged 88 years, we asked a taxi to the concierge totally incapable.
Finally we had to hail it ourselves on the main street.

Stayed here for only 1 days, Very Convenient location & excellent location, connected to MBK Center internally where you can get cheap stuffs. Service seems the hotel is 5 star. They have given a nice view room at 28 floor. Very much liked the hotel, room and service.

Excellent location, connected to MBK Centre and major shopping Malls in walking distance. Good facility, spacious rooms. Could check in before schedule check-in time — courtesy to front office staff who managed to find ready room in about 30 minutes wait time.

One of my favourite hotels. Amazing location, but also pretty good value for money on the hotel itself. There are cheaper places to stay in Bangkok, but I felt like I was getting what I was paying for here.

Stayed here for 2 days and it's one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. We spent most of our time here and never got bored. The facilities are very well maintained, buffet breakfast was delicious, and the level of service from all the hotel staff was 5 star. Definitely going back here.

Awesome location which is next to MBK shopping mall, easy for shopping. It is also situated near to the train station or getting to and fro airport is easy and avoid the traffic jam.

I have been to this hotel for the last 10 Years. The last two years have Abated. The rooms and suites (we recently had an executive plus Suite) are used and require Renovation. Meanwhile compared with similar hotels too expensive for Bangkok.

We paid a deluxe room and were disappointed. Room 1402 lacked freshness, cockroaches everywhere! It lacked the furniture (coffee table) and the shower jet flooded the bathroom. We contacted Mr Supanut Saehui (Night Manager) to report the problem. Unacceptable for a pseudo 5 stars!

I went there before trust me the air con there is just amazing there is even room service and the swimming toom is just so big swimming everywhere the trip there was also amazing and the blanket is so comfertable and the bath room is just amazing there is free shampoo conditioner and shampoo hel free water a frige free cofee and also a place for breakfast the bathtub is so big that I can go swimming in the bathtub I love love love that the hotel is connected to mbk centre the ice cream at the anima shop is so delicios the acade is amazing and the place is so organize and the plane ride is so comferterble the air port is just amazing and the shops at mbk centre it sells alot of toys and bags since it is so cheap I almost bought the whole shopping centre I didnt stay there long because I have to go like 20+ temple and every morning I have to wake up at 5 so that when I have breakfast then go to temple it will be like 8 so I didnt find the shop that I really want to find it is WOWPONY it sells many squishy there but couldnt find it : (

Very high class and luxurious hotel. The rooms are very nice, comfortable and clean. Like many other hotels in this level you can find bath set containing shower gel, conditioner and shampoo but now you will also get toothbrush and toothpaste. The breakfast is very tasty.

Old hotel that could appreciate some renovation/upgrading. Good location if that is the main (shopping) driver as you only need a place to sleep and recharge (but then, if that is the whole purpose, many oher smaller boutique hotel at about THB1200-1500/night…

Very good value for money following the season. Service at the top and staff friendly. If like me you're car don't worry the parking of hotel is perfect. More hotel has direct access to the shopping arcade of the mbk really perfect!

Directly connected to MBK. Fürs shopping ideal. On the 27th floor, you can hear traffic noise. Rooms are still ok, but overpriced.

Love it! Definitely recommend it! Great location. Felt safe (Guards that check you bags at both entrance. 1 that connect you directly to MBK) Clean. Bed is soft but good quality. Big pool. Jacuzzi. And lovely roof top bar. Extra care that I love: (little things that matter) 1. Took care of your luggage when you get of the cab. 2. Welcome drinks upon check in 3. A plate of fruits as a welcome gift when you got to your room.

It's a nice hotel but not worth 5 stars — I just had to pay 120 baht for my boardingtickets for print outs. That's not what I consider a good customer service within this pricerange. Besides this are the rooms in their "best ages" and the breakfast is too expensive for it's price.

My friend and I stayed here for six nights recently. The staff were courteous and extremely polite and super helpful. As I was on my own for two nights and they were aware it was my first time in Bangkok, they gave me a lot of ideas of what I could do and always ensured that I was looked after. From organising taxis tours and making sure I was safe at all times with a reputable tour company was great. And reassuring. My friend has food allergies and I am a vegetarian and the restaurant was more than helpful in preparing meals for us. And the meals and room service prices were fantastic. We ate here for most of our meals. Had no issue with the Wifi at all. The rooms were always so clean and nothing was ever too much trouble, I am coming back to Bangkok early in 2016 with my daughter and I will be staying here when I return. Our driver was stuck in traffic to collect us to take us to the airport and was extremely late and if it wasn't for the hotel staffs assistance in offering us their limo we would of missed our flight home as no taxis would take us. Their meals are fantastic but the only advice I might offer is with so many Australians frequenting your hotel supplying Vegemite at breakfast would be a huge bonus. But if most Aussies are like me I brought my own from home and took it to breakfast with me every morning.

My first stay in Bangkok was a very pleasing and pleasurable experience as a result of the warmth and assistance of the staff. As a reasonably experienced traveller I have learnt to expect what I pay for. This hotal offerred me everything I could have wished for and I will certainly return and recommend it to others. The staff in the Concierge area were always polite and helpful and Italian Restaurant staff excelled themselves. I was similalry most impressed with the brekafast and the memory of the maitre de there for breakfast. The lady cleaning my room and her assistancee over my 7 day stay could not be faulted. Full marks. The only problem I had was with traffic entry to the hotel.

Hotel is clean and spacious. Internet is free but you have to pay 300b for 3 hrs or 400b or 24hrs If you book as a single they will charge you 1000b extra to have an extra guest even though you are provided 2 towels, 2 Security cards, a double bed 2 bottles of water. I found the small print on my card holder later informing me of this. I thought this could have been highlighted when I checked in. Cant find anything on the website regarding extra guests. If I had known prior I would not have booked this hotel.

Free Internet — Its a trick! For anything faster then 512kbps you have to pay. 299 THB for 3 hours! 399 THB for 24 hours! Room is clear smelled a bit strange like some one smoked before in the room although it sad it is a none smoking room! I expected more for the price! But great location and connection to MBK.

Front desk staff is friendly, polite, and helpful. Bell boys were also helpful in explaining to the taxi drivers where we wanted to go. Housekeeping was efficient and cleaned our rooms well. The fitness center is comparable to gyms back in the US — huge and well-equipped. The breakfast buffet at the coffee shop needs some improvement in the variety of options. I was surprised the hotel did not offer more local fruit as a fruit options. Foreigners want to taste local fruit and not something they can eat at home. Juices also tasted artificial — like they were made from powdered stuff. Some hot choices ran out and replenishing took some time. Wait staff seemed harassed and overwhelmed by customers during busy hours. Hotel needs to employ more people so service can be improved.

Stopped in this hotel for two weeks when it was first opened. Think I was one of the earliest guests. Was working in Bangkok at the time. Very well looked after in every respect. Remember the access to the market next door, which was handy too. Visited a few of the local resteraunts too. A great stay.
