Maintenance needs to be improved. We walked in the room and was hit with a mildew scent. We had to go buy some air freshener. The refrigerator barely cools things. On a positive note the service was good. ****** I'm happy to update that Management was super fast in correcting the issue and speaking with us. They changed our room and it was a HUGE difference. There was no mold odor when you entered the new room. It was very refreshing! They did advise they will be thoroughly cleaning our previous room. THANK YOU Holiday Inn for quickly improving our stay here. Awesome customer service.

What did not go well: 1) Despite that I have put up a specific request during the online booking process to have a room away from the lift lobby, I was allocated a room right in front of the lift lobby! What is the point of asking guests if they have special requests and then choose to ignore it?! As you can imagine, the loud-mouth people and screaming children at the lift lobby would wake you up each morning. 2) For 2 out of my 4 days stay, the room key card could not be read by the lift card reader and I had to go to the reception to have it checked and reprogrammed. What went well: 1) On the positive note, I was pleased with the quality of the double bed and the cleanliness of the bedsheets, pillow covers and towels. 2) The rooms here look newer than those at Ibis next door. 3) The Front Office staff are more professional and polite than those at Ibis next door.

Pleasant stay, staff are friendly. Location is good for the price. Some feedback is (1) the room occasionally has a sewage smell (2) rooms slippers quality is too flimsy (3) to have a "im reserved sign" at breakfast tables. As the turnover is fast, table may be cleared and taken by other guests therefore one of us will have to be there at all times. Thank you.

Good location, convenient, the door has MC Golden Arch restaurant, the room is not big, the bed narrow point, but the room is clean. Suitable for business travel. Hotel style is fast boutique like this.

The hotel is located near the National Stadium train stop. That is a convenience. And that’s the only plus point about this property. The staff can be helpful, depending on what time of the day you check in. They clearly don’t pay attention to any requests you might make during the reservation. 1) The hallways are dingy and dark. 2) Rooms are not clean. 3) Stains on bed sheets, curtains and chair upholstery 4) Broken lamps 5) Old worn out furniture that hasn’t been upgraded in a while. 6) Don’t rely on the room pictures you might see on the website. The real deal is a lot different. 7) Elevators are dirty and have no ventilation. 8) electric socket (only one) is the bathroom is not working all over the property. I know because they shifted my room thrice. And finally provided a power extension cable to help me use my shaver in the bathroom where it is most commonly used! Verdict: Look for other options. IBIS is nearby and cheaper. The services are slightly better. Don’t let this property rip your pocket for its terrible guest service. For an express property this is easily the worst in terms of quality and standard!

Nice location and friendly service. It's only within 10 min to walk to Siam Paragon and the BTS station is just outside the hotel. Limited F&B choices though. Convenience store also nearby.

Acceptable Hotel. Normal service, normal breakfast, normal room. Good Wi-Fi, good location in front of the shopping malls. Has a MC Donald at the entrance.

Central location. I have never seen anything so bad… and I have been travelling a lot around the world.

In the first instance, I want to clarify that I never thought of putting this rating to the hotel, but circumstances deserve. We spent only two nights, we chose this chain for its recommendation and for its proximity to the commercial part.
However, when we got to the room, we felt a damp smell and we were surprised at its tiny size, however we thought it would only be two nights.
On the first night, there appeared a small cockroach (2cm) in the bathroom, we thought about complaining, but we didn't.
The next day, another cockroach appears in the bathroom again. Again, we don't complain.
We're going to make us a coffee before we pack, and another cockroach pops up near the electric kettle. Right there we call reception and explain the situation. While I'm talking, a cockroach appears on the light table. A thousand apologies to the receptionist if I left her deaf, I just couldn't believe it.
There they came to clean and they gave us another room when we showed them the day of the date bodies. While cropped the suitcases, appeared two more… While the new room had no smell of humidity and was bigger, it did not count on the number of beds we had chosen.

Good location right near the sky train station. Budget accommodation but good, reliable and clean. There is a McDonald's restaurant on site. Floor to ceiling windows with great views. Reception area is only small so it can get busy and crowded but always found the staff to be helpful.

Stayed for one night but it was so worth it! It’s right next to the national stadium BTS stop so transportation was very easy. It’s also very near the heart of Siam for shopping lovers!

Need I say more. Great location and service. Very clean and comfortable stay with a wide selection of different breakfast dishes.

Good experience. Close to Siam BTS Sky train station. Nice upgraded room. Comfortable bed, and room chairs. Hot water pot for tea / coffee. Small refrigerator. Good breakfast.

If you would like to be close to shops (U A. Mbk) and Skytrain, and not to room service and other luxury value, this is the place to be. Room clean and spacious. Smoking rooms available. In the hotel next door chic Skybar. The Skytrain is easy to reach. Even to the airport there is connection…

Rooms are very nice, staff (as everywhere in Thailand) very friendly. You can hear the Skytrain passing by even on the 18th floor, but it's not really annoying! Actually, the proximity to the Skytrain is even more of an advantage to move fast! However, breakfast is not so exciting, but they like to prepare fresh egg dishes and fried bacon!

Great hotel, with modern decor. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Clean and spacious rooms. Great view of the city. Great options for breakfast. Easy walk to MBK shopping mall and Siam Square.

Nice friendly Hotel with a good breakfast and great rooms. Spectacular view from every room and air conditioning everywhere. Close to McDonald's and 7eleven.

Right across the national stadium. Good workout place in the morning to prepare yourself for all the eating for the day. A few steps away from the BTS stop which gets you around the city. 3 minute walk from Jim Thompson's place. No frills hotel, there are 2 room sizes. Get the bigger one.

Room is ok. Better than nothing breakfast. Beware of taxi scam at the front door.

Location is very close to BTS station, traffic is convenient. The location is not a shopping area, but the distance is not far. Room equipment general, but since the hotel is classified as express, the relative requirements should not be too high. Breakfast buffet form, the food choice is not much, taste is good, but every day the food is the same, the wife does not have to choose every day breakfast.

Great express hotel in one of the best locations in Bangkok with awesome views of the city. Breakfast was standard express hotel level, service and staff was above average for express hotels.

Very good location next to MBK center and SkyTrain. Rooms are good and spacious. Only breakfast is a bit hectic as there are really many people (but they have a nice outdoor terrace where it's really nice). Bellboy only on request. Not that there is no lobby or bar — only some vending machines for drinks. Just next is a McDonalds which is also nice for a drink or snack as they have a garden. A 7/11 is at the basement of the next hotel (Ibis), just a very short walk.

While perhaps the having rooms of the smaller size, they are still functional. Best aspect is downtown location, with small walk away from biggest malls in the city and easy BTS access.

The hotel is centrally located in Bangkok and provides an secure and welcoming oasis in the heart of Bangkok. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is very modern. The breakfast buffet is superb with many selections of fresh items, lots of drink options, and free newspapers, plus a good view of the city.

Modern, relatively new and very cheap hotel. Very clean, well located, and with great views from the higher rooms. Free breakfast is nice.

I loved every bits of my stay here. I came alone for a 3 nights stay, and needed a place that's near to Siam but with a reasonable price tag. This hotel is just perfect for it. I felt safe bring a solo traveller here. There isn't a pool, so don't expect one. The 24 hour gym was good and we'll equipped. Staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Breakfast room has a great view of the BTS, although they might lack in the breakfast spread. There is a laundry room for 24 hours too. A good stay and definitely will be back!

Accommodating English speaking reception staffs, clean rooms, accessible place and a reasonable price.

Awesome value for a semi budget hotel. Very clean, reception speaks fluent English, right next to a BTS station, close to several shopping malls, good facilities (Wi-Fi, gym, and laundry) small selection from breakfast buffet was the only let down.

I stayed there with my wife from 26/11/14 to 30/11/14. Very impressed with the Front Office Staff. Helpful, speak good English, understand what you want and most importantly patience with Guests. Security is VG, example, only your room card can activate the lift to your room level, you can't used another guest card. Love the lightings along the corridor. The first impression that I love is when I get into my room. No doubt the room is not big, but the most important thing it has everything and that it is super clean, especially the toilet. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast served is good and the spread is enough to feel your tummy. I will recommend friends who are visiting Bangkok to stay here. My next trip, most likely next December, maybe this time with my children and grand children, we will definitely stay at Holiday Inn Express. Comfortable room Price reasonable.

Frontdesk staffs~ polite, helpful and can speak in good/fair English. Even many guests check in/out at the same time, the staffs can manage to serve everyone in a very systemtic and polite way. Hotel lobby with two destop computers, lobby is small but we went to shopping, won't spend time there. Housekeeper~ polite, helpful, I requested more toilet papers and other toilet stuffs, she sent to me within 2 mins, did not show any face for service tips. Hotel room~ clean and lots of sun light that I love it, matress and pillows are comfortable. Hotel cafe~ very relaxing atmosphere, package's breakfast buffet provides basic foods like fried eggs, congee, noodles, fruits, muffins, puffs, bread, tea and coffee Free Wi-Fi in the room and within the hotel~ very important! Only one little thing I could hear the TV and talking next door. Overall is very good, I will highly recommand to others.

The rooms are fantastic for the price, just make sure to avoid the breakfast — it is literally the worst food ever.

I moved in from the Holiday Inn down the road. and this though a star lower didn't seem any different very well maintained.
