Arusha Planet Lodge

Great place to stay! The huts are clean, cozy, and have everything you need. The garden is absolutely beautiful, filled with colorful, exotic tree and herb species. A true paradise to walk through. The staff were always very kind and helpful. A special mention to Ruben, who cleans the pool. He is super friendly, and we really enjoyed our morning conversations with him.
I can highly recommend this place!

Great Start to Our Safari —
Planet Arusha Lodge was the perfect place to begin our safari. The property has a beautiful ambiance surrounded by trees, giving it a calm and refreshing feel. The pizza and spaghetti were surprisingly excellent, much better than we expected from a safari transit stay. Staff were welcoming and helpful throughout. A wonderful start to the journey.

This place is beautiful! I came here with a group with Road Scholar. The servings at lunch were generous, the individual lodges are very nice, and Mariam gives a fantastic massage! I think that may have been the best massage I've ever gotten; she did the bottoms of my feet and palms, as well as my face, and really worked some knots out from my upper back!
People from all over the world come here, so all currencies are accepted.

The pictures don’t do this place justice. And the service was incredible! We were met with a warm towel and tropical drink when we arrived, it was a nice surprise after a very long travel. The grounds were very nice and well kept. I was also surprised with how nice the gym was and the spa. Rooms were also very nice and we all had a great sleep in the comfortable bed. The food was also very good. We had a few nice bottles of South African wine while hanging out in the nice furniture on the grounds. Highly recommended.

Arusha Planet Lodge is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay in Tanzania. It offers great facilities like a clean pool, relaxing spa, and well-equipped gym. The food is very tasty and fresh, and the service is always warm, friendly, and attentive. The staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. The rooms are comfortable and the surroundings are lush and serene, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Whether you're visiting for adventure or rest, this lodge has it all. I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Arusha.

We stayed in April during the rainy season and it was a great choice. It wasn't too crowded and the staff was phenomenal. There was a bit of rain but we had enough sunshine each day to enjoy the outdoors and see wildlife. The lodge itself was amazing as well; the rooms were very comfortable and we enjoyed the pool and having a gym. Overall a great stay. Thank you, Charles!

We stayed here to see Arusha for a day before a safari. The people were incredibly friendly and hospitable. Our flight arrived late and they had a hot meal waiting for us when we got in at midnight. The food was fantastic. The service was the best I've ever had, anywhere. The rooms are in separate buildings and are very nice. You walk through a tropical garden to get to your room.

My brother, my daughter and I had the pleasure of staying at the Planet Lodge for several nights. A real treat. The rooms are very unique. Clean, comfy and generously sized. The grounds are picturesque and very well kept. The meals were tasty and nicely prepared. The coffee was outstanding. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Alex and Raymond were fun and genuinely nice. Fredrick tried to teach us some Swahili. Chema and Rehemma were smiling and lovely. A really great experience.

I went to The Planet Lodge with My Partner. The hospitality I experienced here is top notch, from the Receptionist to the Waiter who attended to us. The waiter was very friendly and charming, he gave us a short tour of the place like the gym, spa area and the beautiful swimming pool. We didn't feel like outsiders, in fact we were so happy that due to his courtesy we decided to eat a pizza that he recommended. And of course, it was more than we really anticipated, so delicious.

We had a great time and good night sleep after a long day of Safari here. If you are in Tanzania near Arusha — this is the place to go. Delicious food! Excellent service! Great entertainment! Beautiful environment and atmosphere!

Great atmosphere and place. The staff were extremely welcoming, hospitable and fun. The bed was very comfy and the room was spotless. The dinner, and the breakfast were also delicious with a big variety of local and foreign options. A big plus was that they prepared a special Christmas dinner for us guests, and they put on an amazing show with drinks, dance and good food. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return.

Fantastic stay at planet lodge. It was a business trip and I went with my 6 years old baby and the welcome by the staff was perfect! I can recommend the Planet Lodge for family, coupe and business trip! We did not enjoy the pool because our plene landed late but the garden and the room was amazing, the dinner delicious and the staff full of details for all of us! A beautiful campus with rooms in separate cabins throughout the well maintained gardens. The service is omnipresent and very, very friendly. Modern facilities with Western amenities — and western prices. On the eastern edge of Arusha, so not walkable to anything else in Arusha.

A beautiful oasis near Arusha. We stopped for rest and relaxation on the way, to and from, our safari in Ngorogoro and Serengeti national parks. The staff is kind and attentive. One is always met with a smile. We enjoyed the wonderful pool and lounged in the shade. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Beautiful grounds. Very kind and gracious staff. They are very friendly and accommodating of all needs. Large air conditioned rooms. There is even excellent Wi-Fi connectivity. Great food. This is a stop on a lovely safari trip. One of the best stops so far.

The lodge is beautiful. The food is great. The staff is very attentive. The grounds and the pool are beautiful. There has been a lot of attention to comfort. If we came back to Arusha I would stay here again. Safari Africa United booked us in this lodge and it was the right choice.

My husband and I started our trip to Tanzania at the Arusha Planet Lodge where we were greeted by the friendliest staff. This accommodation has been the perfect way to start off our trip. The rooms are a great size, the food was excellent and the staff was there to assist us with anything we needed. I highly recommend staying here!
