Very nice staff! Hotel is very clean. Even the shared toilets and showers are always very clean! Beds are comfortable and big. English television available. Snacks at the reception available and good. Bun with ham and cheese, coffee, croissant and free fruits and some cookies.

In the old town, what could be better?!

Amazing location, close to both ferry and the metro station. It is situated right in the heart of the old town, has 2 supermarkets nearby (7/11 and COOP) and countless nice restaurants. The personal was really kind and helpful, the room was clean and the bed is reaaally comfortable! Definitely recommending it!

Very clean, comfortable and nice. Helpful staff. Be ready for a shared bathroom but each has private shower/toilet with sink so it's a good arrangement. Very reasonable rates. The food in the lobby is also reasonably priced and quite good. Enjoy.

It's a simple place, tidy and clean, in the center of Stockholm, a step away from many places to have lunch (or just a snack). The guy at the reception asked me and my girlfriend if we wanted two single beds or a double and gave us a bigger room without price increases. We chose the option without en-suite bathroom, but it didn't give us any problems at all. The bathrooms are very clean and well maintained.

We were looking for a budget stay for a one night first trip to Stockholm. Not knowing the city, we took a bet on Gamla Stan as central, full of history, and easy to get to the central train station (15 minute walk). I am so pleased we picked Castle House Inn, it was excellent value for money. Set in a gorgeous old house, the twin room we had was large, the beds soft and comfy, with large bright windows, and spotlessly clean. Our room had access to a shared bathroom suite, which was always easy to access, and I never had to wait. Location was perfect, right in the middle of the lovely old town, with access to metro stations, and walking distance from all of the major sights. The area is nice and quiet at night and feels incredibly safe. One thing to note is that the showers do not supply shower gel, so remember to do bring this with you. However, I’m happy with this, as I’m sure it contributes to the ‘no frills’ approach that brings down the cost of our stay so significantly. Bonus points for the breakfast – the hotel recommended the place downstairs, which was pure modern Nordic charm, all panelled wood, leather, and soft neon lights, and an outstanding mushroom omelette, with heaps of options to suit all tastes. Big thumbs up, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Not really a hostel, more like a dormitory room inside of a regular hostel. Rooms are super nice, all have lamps, outlets, and curtains. The bathrooms are very clean and Wi-Fi is fast. I'm satisfied :D.

My worst hotel visit ever. Me and my wife was offended by the staff from day 1. All because we was a bit disappointed about the cleaning in the room and the breakfast. We dont like bugs in the bed and we dont like sour milk in the coffee. Because of that we was ignored by the staff, specially by the little gay indian in the reception. He was so not service minded! Just ignorant and stupid. Dont recommend this place.

Awesome place to stay… if you are planning your stay at Stockholm. It is the good to sty as the same is in the central location and is in the old town. Perfect place for having a feel of the Stockholm's air from where you can walk around for sightseeing.

Located in a former coaching inn in the historic center of the city. Rooms functional and clean but no frills. Perfect for getting around the centre of the city on foot. The staff is efficient but a little dry in the forms. Recommended.

Something simple kept, very good Wi-Fi, great location, actually reach everything by foot, not so expensive, but There are no toilets and showers in the rooms and Parking are the affordable are not nearly reach to, i. E. The Parking cost with schedule.

This is a fantastic hostel/hotel in what's probably the nicest part of Stockholm. My friend and I stayed in the 'hostel' part in a twin-room and where we had to use a shared bathroom. It's incredibly clean, secure and quiet. The shared bathrooms are all separated and each have a loo and a shower. They were all really clean and the showers worked fine. The room was clean and was an acceptable size. If you're a party-animal or a solo-traveller then there might be more sociable hostels in Stockholm as this one didn't seem to be aimed at those living the 'backpacker' lifestyle. Having said that, if you stayed in one of the larger dorm rooms then it wouldn't be impossible to make friends — as long as you're not a freak. Anyway, in conclusion this hostel/hotel is in an amazingly convenient location, is super clean and very secure.
