Very beautiful and typical nautical hotel! The staff is very kind, rooms are small but very very comfortable even though there is no air conditioning but that’s not a big deal. I’ll come back for sure.

Very pleasant, quirky hotel with a nautical theme. Despite being old fashioned, the rooms were kept very clean and fully stocked. Breakfast was passable with coffees, breads, meats and fresh fruit. Overall I was impressed for the price paid.

Tiny rooms but good value for Stockholm. Clean and friendly, OK breakfast.

It is a lovely hotel in the city. We felt very comfortable.
The roof terrace is fantastic with its view. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would love to come back.

Good location.

The hotel is perfectly located on Gamla Stan. Lots of museums, restaurants and the Palace nearby. Rooms are comfortable, clean and characterful. The breakfast selection was small but great tasting — all you need. Good Wi-Fi.

Beautiful hotel in Gamla Stan, place where Ingmar Bergman recorded parts of his film Fanny and Akexander, great stores arround. Also great breakfast in hotel. Rooms are tiny but Nelson is the nerarest hotel in Stockholm, only 6 meters wide… great for bussines and rest.

So cozy. The whole hotel is quite narrow and small. The rooms are basically a bit cabinn style size, so small, but In the style of a room on an old boat. The whole hotel is family owned and they've spent years collecting all the items that give it a maritime feel. I loved it. I grew quite attached to my little room which was efficient and contained only what I needed. It felt like "my room" and not just a hotel room. I was there for a conference.

Located near the center of gamla Stan wonderful people. We will return.

The best thing is the location. It is very charming I must admit, but but very well maintained and the breakfast buffet is poor.

This place has character. It's a small hotel. The rooms are fitted out like a Cabin on a sailing ship. And they are small. But it was comfortable and affordable, clean, hot water, good breakfast.

Good hotel for the price. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff.! Perhaps slightly dated but it doesn't detract. Recommended.

A misleading booking policy. 'Non refundable apart and changes may incur a penalty' means that the booking is non refundable or changeable without a 100% charge. A three day booking can not be changed despite offering full flexibility and two weeks notice.

Really enjoyed my stay here felt like staying in a nice ship for a couple of days :).

Charming hotel. Small rooms and narrow hallways. Lovely rooms and a nice character. Family owned since some years.

Small but adequate rooms, the only downside is the bathroom which is too small. A tall or large person will have trouble. Love the personal touch, the perfect location and the friendly staff.

Though uniquely located at the heart of Stockholm's Gamlastan, this hotel fails to deliver the minimum standards of comfort necessary for an enjoyable stay. To begin (and to end) with — it is truly impossible to be comfortable locked in a 7 square meters cell. My bags (I had two) would not fit, therefore I had to sacrifice the desk; I am an obese individual and couldn't get into the bathroom without creative maneuvering. Let alone taking a shower. It is to be remembered as one dreadful experience I would not like to live again.
