We visited amaranthe bay last weekend. As expected everything was amazing. From check in to check out everything was perfect. I'm really happy that my first stay as a couple was such a lovely experience. Service from the staff was great. Foods were delicious. View was superb. Suite with jacuzzy was super comfy. Once again I would like to thank these guys for their excellent service even at this pandemic condition. Hope to visit you again Amaranthe Bay ❤️

First of all would rate this place 10. However words cannot describe the comfort, beauty and hospitality Amaranthe Bay gives the client. If you visit Trincomalee, Amaranthe Bay Resort & Spa is where you want to be. The food was absolutely worth every cent, the quantity the presentation and most of all the flavour is heavenly. Also the main reason to love Amaranthe Bay was the great hospitality shown by all the staff members. We initially went for one night and we extended it for two as the hotel exceeded our expectations on the 1st night it self. 1st of all I would like to thank Gayan Alwis who made the reservation for us and accomadated all our request prior to our visit in a short notice then Praveen who welcomed us when we arrived late in the night and last but not least a very big thank you to Guest Relations Officer❤️ DENVER KEIL ❤️ who made my Birthday & Stay a very special one by surpsing me with a delicious cake and gifts to my room, which was totally unexpected. Also a big thank you to all staff who accomadated all our needs and made our stay heavenly and homely.

I went there with my husband when we visited Trincomalee. Amaranthe bay is ideal for a romantic getaway. There was the most friendly and supportive staff I’ve ever met in a Sri Lankan Hotel. The most amazing thing in their was the jacuzzi in room. Food was extremely delicious and with a good portion. We could go in a lagoon safari in a Kayak and watch the sunset which was an unforgettable experience. The candle light dinner on the floating deck under stars was so romantic. Amaranthe bay inherits a breathtaking view of lagoon. Love to be there again. Highly Recommended for all to visit their once you go Trincomalee.

Wow, what a paradise in Trinco. We stayed in in the Executive Suite, the room is spacious with a king bed and 2 single beds. The room has its own balcony with jacuzzi. The staff are so friendly and warm, always with a smile. Management kept making sure we were comfortable and finally to the food, chef Nuwan Don cooking is exquisite.

Not enaugh words to praise amaranthe bay hotel and its' wonderful staff. We have been there for only a short while but from the warm welcome at reception, to state of the art room, can we ever do justice to that jacuzzi and large room beautifully decorated we realised its one of the top hotels visited. The staff are the ones who truly make the place magical, offering suggestions for trips, exciting activities, to going that extra mile in getting to know each guest and cater to their needs. The chef has been more than inventive in the events organized and romantic dinners on the waterfront. And top of my stay, the very kind lady at reception gave me the opportunity to try one saree, coming to the room with make up, jewlery, helpkng me drape it around, felt really special. Thank you all for your welcome and would definitely recommend.

This is my first time visit. Today is my husband's birthday. So I went there to suprise him. I wanna say this I feel I am with my family. So friendly. Excellent hotel with excellent location, extremely clean & comfortable. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception and GRO (unfortunately I can't remember his name), he makes our day more interesting. He arranged everything for us. Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again GRO for going just that little step extra for the guests!

I have visited many hotels in the past but never been so satisfied with the services offered by the staff. It was an amazing experience and I would like to thank the Executive Chef MR. MUDITHA who was simply a charismatic person the way he treated us with succulent dishes. Special thanks to the Guest Relations Manager Mr. Denver who had an outgoing personality to come forward to keep the guests happy. A place you don’t want to miss it and I will be back soon for another experience. Thanks guys.

Fantastic Service and very friendly staff. Great and very good tasting meals. Amazing Junior-Suite. A place like heaven. We enjoyed it two times and for sure not the last time!

The hotel is very modern, the service is excellent, everything is done very quickly and professionally. With cleaning time for breakfast. All radios, all questions are solved by any employee. The room is great, a large Jacuzzi, a smart home system. The internet works well in the rooms and next to the pool. They take to the beach by boat for free at 10.30, 13.30, 15.30 and back at 17.00. Loved the zoo, especially turkeys, which amusingly muttered in response to similar sounds or clucking chicken. Great breakfasts, lots of fruit, cheeses and all sorts of things. The juices are natural delicious. Dinner is a work of art, all dishes are prepared and served masterfully. Dinner on the menu, but there is a choice. Huge portions of seafood in the main dish, very interesting salads and desserts, hot buns to soup puree.
Didn't like the waiter's attempts to impose paid drinks. When we gave up the wine, he tried to sell the water in a bottle, although in the glass it is given for free. At our request, we prepared the fish we bought and served it for a lot of money rice with seafood, which was free at dinner (took half board). The bill was filed for almost 5000, although they agreed on the amount of about 1000 rupees.
A boat trip to The Island of Pijeon for $25 without tickets (5, 000 rupees). And go somewhere on a minibass.

Chilled and relaxed. Small hotel but big on service. There's a boat shuttle to the beach as it is a little inland and faces the lagoon. Great sunsets. Nice stripe of restaurants with freah seafood on the doorstep. Do as much or as little as you wish.

One of the best hotels I have stayed. The staff was supper friendly. Hospitality at it's Best. We had booked the executive suite and another room which was located in another building. When we arrive at the hotel they quickly upgraded 2nd room and gave us the adjusent room which was connected with executive suite. That offer made our trip more Worthwhile. Rooms were supper comfortable and executive suite had a private jacuzzi too. We only took breakfast at the hotel. Their breakfast was mind blowing. We couldn't even finish the full course. It was a very pleasant stay all thanks to the friendly staff.

It is nice hotel bit hidden from the main stream hotels. Located to give a nice view of the lagoon. Property is quite small but well appointed with all most all the luxuries required for a tired traveler. Rooms are spacious, well kept and well appointed. All the suite rooms do contain a Jacuzzi so it is a huge plus. I must say the kitchen staff is really capable of whipping up some delicious food at a moments notice. They really focus on quality over quantity so you will not find a lengthy menu how ever their really generous on portion size. I believe the most important aspect of this hotel would be its people. They do make sure every thing is taken care of. Many thanks for all the staff members who make this hotel is a home away from home.

Really a good place for stay! Good for Weekend gateway! I would like to recommend this place, very calm place. You can enjoy every bit of time! Very friendly staffs. Beautiful surroundings! Every room have a Jacuzzi! Spacious rooms in affordable price! Shop, Bar, Pool Table, darts, Restaurant, and Boat ride also avalible. But first check the price and duration! Buffet lunch is really good but don't expect more variety! But still worth for what you are paying! I enjoyed the salad, but not the dessert! Anyway its a quite great place!

Nice resort. Nice room, for $25 per night with Jacuzzi. We only made food outside, because we also wanted to see something else.

An ideal place to go if you wish to have some peace and rest! It's very calm and quiet, with a lovely view of the lake and you even get a free boat ride! Really amazing experience! The pool is my favorite the suite was beyond expectations as it was huge and was indeed luxurious with a jacuzzi that was evenly better! You should try their indoor dining! But they didn't have a breakfast buffet which was slightly disappointing. Still I recommend the place which is so enchanting!

After a long drive from Colombo, it was a delight to have the front staff welcome my family and I to the hotel. We had four rooms in your hotel for two days and over the course of the four days we had breakfast, lunch and dinner and got to enjoy the use of the pool. Our room was upgraded as my wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we had a beautiful flower arrangement on our bed and an amazing view! Finally the jet tub in our room was a wonderful way to relax and enjoy the lagoon view at night. We visited the other hotels in the area for meals and we felt your hotel had something the others did not … the people! They made us feel like family.

Super spacious rooms, seemingly each with own spa. We enjoyed our 1 night very much. Being a recent build rooms are very well appointed with spa, quite modern electrics, safe, etc. They are very clean, new beds comfortable, the food and service are both good. Overall this place is wonderful to stay at but it’s a solid 3 star hotel, not extraordinary — except for the room size. Having river frontage rather than beach and a slightly smaller pool, with water a little on cool side, are factors in my thinking.

Best place to stay in Trinco! Pricey but excellent facilities — room is spacious and modern with a spa, pool area is lovely and bar and restaurant have a good vibe. Staff were extremely attentive and friendly, would definitely stay here again.

Stayed there for 2 days when we came for whale watching. Wonderful warm and comfortable place with good friendly staff. The room we got had a wonderful view of the lagoon, specially during sunset it makes some scenary.

Staff were very friendly. And the rooms were superb with a private jacuzzi. Had a great stay. But food needs to be improved. Less varieties in the buffets. Otherwise a great hotel.

Can't speak highly enough of the place. I have been taken ill while I've been here, and it's nothing go with either the Amaranthe Bay or Sri Lanka. But that's when you know the true worth of a place. There is nothing worse than being really ill when you are so far away from home in a foreign country. The Amaranthe Bay have done all they can to help, from calling a doctor and getting him here within half an hour, to catering for my strange food requests. My husband has just been down to get his dinner and several of the staff have asked after me, and we've only been here 2 days. Thank you.

Very luxurious. Friendly staff. Beautiful, large room with a private jacuzzi with a great view at the lagoon. A special boat brings you to the beautifull beach at your request. We loved it.

All staff are extremely friendly Rooms & other facilities are built with stability and comfort. Food is not the greatest but can rate 6.5 out of 10 No direct access to beach is bummer specially being located in Trinco.

Rooms are superb, modern and very clean with a nice jacuzzi. Great pool and poolbar. Very good cuisine. Had a great Bar-BQ in Sri Lankan Style with beautiful lighting at the pool. I enjoyed the spa treatment and canoeing at the lagoon. A special thanks to the very nice and friendly waitress Chithra. She gave me a warm and nice welcome, an outstanding service also special informations about the famous places in Trinco. So I went to Koneswaram Temple, visited pigeon Island and much more. I enjoyed her recommended places very well. This quiet nice location gave me as musician an inspiration to write a song about her and Trinco. Thanks for all. I will come back again…

The picturesque hotel with panoramic Windows, superb furnished and neat and tidy, equipment rooms magnificent from the air conditioner to plumbing all new and classy touch control lighting and equipment, ceiling height of about five metres, Jacuzzi in room, free shuttle service to the beach, honeymoon special, balanced and very varied diet, free wi fi Internet access throughout the hotel, with confidence say is the best Coast Hotel!

Stayed here in April 2016. Great hotel! Staff and service has vastly improved since my last stay here pre-opening. The food was excellent, we ordered a'la carte and had some excellent food that was presented well. The management is committed to sourcing fresh ingredients locally. Please be encouraged to also connect with local providers of handicrafts and other souvenirs and build up the local economy. The front office manager was excellent in the way he solved the problem we had with the internet connection. Good job guys, keep up with the staff training and motivation!

Amazing staff, very helpful and friendly. Sorted out a blocked shower very quickly. The room was so nice I want to furnish my house the same way! Really enjoyed it.

Hotel amazing! The best hotel I have ever been to in my life! Facilities magnificent (swimming pool, jacuzzi, bar and disco) Lovely room with views, with a private jacuzzi. Breakfast with fruits, fresh juices, pastries, cheeses… presentation incredible. Front desk service exceptional and all the staff at the hotel. We feel better than at home!
