Pirates Village

What can I say we have just returned from a weeks holiday in the pirates village. It was fabulous the resort was beautiful the rooms were great I have read a lot of reviews saying the room are terrible im sorry but this is far from the truth. The pools are wonderful for the kids and the 5 lifeguards are amazing they watch everyone to ensure there safety. The location is brilliant a quick walk to the beach and plenty of shops nearby. I will say again I read a lot of reviews saying the food is not good, that is absolute nonsense the chefs work all day to prepare great food all day with great selection that includes the snack bar food. What a wonderful holiday. But the on thing that made this holiday special was the hotel team they were unbelievable from the reception when we checked in so polite. To the chefs wonderful cooks. The bar staff and waiters all day beautiful people so helpful. The lifeguards brilliant at there jobs makes you feel at ease in the pool with young kids. The cleaners the hotel was spotless and rooms were cleaned daily well done. The security team at the door always receive a hello and they would stop kids going out without adults to me that is above and beyond thank you. The artists well they were amazing, wonderful with kids and extremely talented the shows were out of this world. The kids club team were so friendly and made the kids have so much fun from the talent show which was amazing to water polo thank you.

We had an unbelievable family holiday in pirates village. The entertainment (pirates) was nothing short of astonishing. The energy they brought during the day was brilliant. The evening shows were sensational. The food was good (all inclusive) with plenty of variety and the service was great. We will definitely be back. Family of 5. The kids were 3, 5 and 6.

What an amazing holiday.
We went in the last week of October and the hotel was decorated halloween themed all throughout. The staff were dressed up each day too.
Kids entertainment was great, with the hotel staff doing the entertainment rather than hiring in 3rd party acts. All the entertainers were great with the kids and really got the party started for them. My youngest daughter (11 months) loved them all and was always dancing along with them.
The firework show which they did was great, all be it a little close to the guests to be swinging round a Catherine wheel, but the show was excellent.
During one of the shows, they dyed 1 swimming pool red and it stayed this way the whole week.
Food was great, although very much the same most nights, but we couldn't fault it. All inclusive drinks were also great with good measures 😁
Swimming pool was great as well as the slides BUT it was freezing cold 🥶
Sunbeds are chained up until a certain time in the morning, so it makes it fair fir everyone to grab one when they do unlock them, but there was always a bed available.
We upgraded our bedroom to a baby room, which consisted of a cot, bottle warmer, baby bath and changing mat. All this was great and really useful for us. My only criticism of the rooms, are that they are too small for a family of 5. My 2 eldest children slept in the bedroom and myself, husband and baby daughter, slept in the main room on a sofa bed and a pull out bed.

I recommend this hotel. It's trustworthy. I was absolutely shocked by how many attractions they had for the children, how many games, how many ideas, how well organized. My daughter had her birthday and the staff arranged a small cake. I'll be back again in a few years. 5/5 stars! Very high recommend! Well done for all of you, amazing staff!

Views of Grandparents, parents with 2 kids. The Pirates is typical hotel for families with young kids. The Pirates/Disney theme was well done. Evening and pool entertainment was as good as it gets for a resort. The professional actors, artist, dancers were very good with the Sunday Pirates battle outstanding. All the staff worked really hard including the 5 pool lifeguards on duty all day!. The hotel itself however was tired. Maintenance required on outside tiled floors, our room needed cabinet doors refixed (done quickly) and the astroturf all around the very large pool area was sodden most of the time. Plenty of sunbeds however but wear footwear at all time we would say. The food was good in a smallish noisy restaurant, always busy and had to overspill outside on most occasions. Generally the kids loved it, especially the pool and slides area with the entertainment above average, the core hotel though was over busy, tired and needs work. Would we recommend? The entertainment and facilities for the kids yes, for the adults? adequate but do not expect a 'new ' hotel. If I were the manager I would be asking for a complete refurb and upgrade for next year. We bought a day pass and it wasn't really worth it. The all inclusive food and drink were nice enough and easy to get, but the pool was not great. It goes from really really deep then immediately to shallow. The slides weren't accessible for adults. The views from the side of the pools aren't great considering the depth of the water. We left just after lunch as the pool wasn't great unless you're very little and like to paddle or a very good strong swimmer. The water also seemed to have a lot of strong chemicals in as it hurt our eyes more than our own hotel's pool. Not one for us I'm afraid.

This hotel is excellent. The entertainment staff go out of their way to ensure the kids enjoy themselves. The pools are tended by 3 lifeguards. The food is more than ok. Id recommend getting to the restaurant early. There is something for everyone, even for the fussiest of eaters. The location of hotel is 10 minute walk from the beach, a supermarket close by and a large shop that sells everything opposite. Santa ponsa square is about half an hour walk.
The rooms of the hotel are clean and I found it quite spacious for a family of 4. Adequate storage for us all. Yes the hotel could do with a lick of paint here and there but that shouldn't put anyone off. It's a lovely hotel. I would 100 percent return to this place.

Location was good! Entertainment was good! Rooms need updating! Sitting room bed settee was not great! On wheels so every time you turned over the bed moved! For 3 * food was ok but it was cold! And it was mostly same each day/night. Dining don’t cater for bigger families as was always hard to get tables for 6! Entertainment wouldn’t let you put families together (ie tables) so we didn’t really go to some of them! One big grip was 2 queues 1 for All inclusive/1 for self catering.
Self catering seemed to get served first!
Maybe because they were paying / we had already paid! Also you knew self catering got better cocktails in nice glasses!
Very good was no smoking anywhere in hotel! Should be vapes as well.
Pools were good for kids! Not slides (more for younger kids ie under 7! Ours were 8 and didn’t like them! Also not much for teenagers! We had 16 year old!
Pirates were great on the Sunday Afternoon and Thursday breakfast time!

The entertainment and staff friendliness was amazing. The rooms are basic however we got what we were expecting.
The mattress was not the comfiest.
Location wise was perfect for us, a short walk into the centre and to the beach. A couple of minutes walk to the Eroski supermarket as we were self catering helped massively.
We spent 11 nights here and our son had an amazing experience.

We arrived here last Tuesday, we leave tomorrow. The rooms are a bit more run down than we hoped for but luckily we didn’t spend too much time in them. There is not too much food wise but what they do have to offer is lovely. It is in a great location being a 5 minute walk from the beach. The service is very good, Beverly is lovely and welcoming, The Cleaner with the bun who works nights is very nice and always has a smile on her face. Best of all the entertainment staff are amazing and really get the younger kids involved. It is crazy how good most of them are at dancing and they are always bubbly and in a great mood. The Disney show on a friday is a must watch the best one by far. Overall I really enjoyed my stay just a bit disappointed with how run down the rooms were. Would highly recommended to younger kids who like to get involved with things.

So we have just returned from our 10 nights holiday at pirates village. And although I am a believer that a holiday is what you make it, I also think that you should get what you pay for and in all honesty I don't think that was the case here. The rooms were basic which was fine but cleanliness was not a strong point, our floors did not get cleaned once the full time we were there. They did change the beds and towels but that's about it. We went and bought a mop etc and cleaned ourselves. The having to set alarms to get up to put towels at the pool to secure a sun lounger was definitely not for me, some people were down as early as 6.30am and although there is rules stating towels will be lifted that was never the case. The night time entertainment was definitely not something that we had ever seen, I just felt like it was all dancing about and not very much to it. My kids also didn't enjoy that. We were there with friends so their was 4 adults and 3 kids ages 2-5-9 and it didn't really suit any of them. I can't comment on the buffet food as thankfully we were self catering however we did order off the snack bar and the food was fed to the bin. It was all dripping with oil. On a more positive note, the hotel is in a nice location and handy to get to things, the pools were a good size and my kids enjoyed the slides, the balcony was a good size and their strawberry daiquiri was also a hit!

Just back from the best family holiday we’ve had in years.
We spent a week in pirates village all inclusive with our 7 and 5 year old sons. The food was fantastic with plenty of adult and children options. 5 flavours of pizza, burgers, nuggets etc. Then a lot of home made options of fish dishes, pork dishes, soup every day, lovely fresh salad. Breakfast is full English, warm pastries. Drinks on all inclusive are Amstel for a beer, there’s wine, sangria, daiquiri and of course all the pops and fruit juices you can have.
Pools are great! There’s 3, one with 7 slides, one deep one where the pirates and kids can jump off the tower and rocks and one shallower one for the little ones, split in two with an even more shallow part for babies. There’s no subbed wars (not when we went anyway)
The cleaners are out constantly. A cleaner for your room every other day with towels, sheets and loo roll. They clean around the pool area, restaurant and pool toilets all day everyday.
The entertainment is of such a high standard. There’s a show every night apart from Wednesday. The shows are amazing! Like, really amazing! The day time entertainment is hilarious too. There’s pirate attacks some days and water polo etc nearly every day. The bar staff are so friendly and kind. Really make the effort to give you the best stay.
The hotel is a short walk (10 mins) from the bars, restaurants and beach. This little place is one of the most scenic and beautiful I’ve ever seen.

Just back from a last minute 4 night stay with Husband and son. First of all, the entertainment for the kids is absolutely fantastic. Pirates Attack is the best we have ever experienced. What kid wouldn’t love water fights with pirates? And not just the water fights, the shows they put on and how well they get into character is brilliant. The pool area was cleaned every day — what was nice is that the pool didn’t open until 10am and sunbeds weren’t available until 9:30am, so there was no mad rush to get the best spot. Even into the afternoon there were plenty of beds and spaces left. The room was very clean and tidy and quite modern with LED strip lights around the kids room. Pool bar snacks such as toasties, hotdogs, burgers and fries were cooked fresh upon ordering if you didn’t feel like going to the restaurant to eat lunch. The only thing that I would say needed to improve was the all inclusive food — very basic and the same each night, but to be honest so are most all inclusive hotels. Good enough range of hot/cold and alcoholic drinks available… it was great that the slushies were included on the all inclusive! The hotel manager was around and available all day and night too, which was great to see. All in all a great stay and I would definitely recommend to those with kids, purely for the entertainment alone.

We’ve just returned from our very first family holiday and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I’ll admit, I’m usually a bit of a “holiday snob” and tend to compare everything to Dubai standards — so I wasn’t sure what to expect.
The hotel turned out to be a brilliant choice for families. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and everything felt easy and relaxed. There were plenty of family-friendly touches, which made travelling with children much less stressful than I imagined.
The shows were fab, my 8 month old and 3 year old were entertained sufficiently.
The food was 9/10 very tasty. We went all I.
Inclusive and was SO worth it for a toddler that changed his mind all the time.
While it’s obviously a different experience from a luxury Dubai resort, the atmosphere here was warm, welcoming, and just what we needed for our first family trip. A mix bag of people which we expected but added to the entertainment some days. (couple arguing early hours in the room next to us)
It exceeded my expectations, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a semi relaxed, enjoyable family holiday.

It’s a very sweet family hotel. The pool is very modern and the pirate theme throughout hotel is very cool. The staff were all lovely.
I would say water slide photos were a little misleading, we thought the my would be for all ages. They are only for kids under 1.2. No adults allowed so it’s not really suitable for teens. Perfect for 5 year olds.
We went for SC super market only a few minutes away was great and lots of lovely restaurants in Santa Ponça although I recommend booking the best ones if you’re going in school holidays. The rooms are basic but we didn’t spend much time in the room so it didn’t spoil our holiday and our son was happy enough on the sofa bed he thought it was fun. Kids are weird like that.

Honestly I can not sing the praises of this hotel any higher. First off the staff were absolutely incredible, the most polite, hardworking and enthusiastic staff I have ever encountered on holiday. The shows were fantastic, the food was lovely (I normally really don’t like all inclusive food but best all inclusive I’ve ever had) fresh meat, pizzas, omelets, eggs cooked to your liking constantly throughout the day. It was absolutely amazing for kids, I loved the fact they put a pool barrier up every night so you don’t have to panic about little ones. They set up little seats for kids every night to watch the shows and even have a little kids bathroom and buffet station so they are totally included in everything. We have been on holidays all over the world and on cruises etc and this has to be one of my favourite ever holidays for children. All in all nothing negative to say it was brilliant and would highly recommend anyone with a family booking!

Incredible hotel for families. The entertainment is AMAZING. The entertainers are so so talented and great with children. I have 3 kids and one is severely autistic and they were great with him too. The hotel staff are very helpful and I was in contact with them via email before my arrival. The food is lovely, bar staff are great. Life guards are really on the ball. It is a really safe place for kids. Great location too.
Rooms are very basic but clean and beds are very comfy. We will definitely return as it is good for all children and all ages. Thank you to all staff there for making our holiday.
