Nearly ready to finish a brilliant all inclusive week at hotel pionero. We had a brilliant holiday everything about this holiday has been an excellent experience of how a complex should be run to cater for all needs. 1st class all round to staff and management been a pleasure and will highly recommend and return.

Cleanliness and courtesy very close to the beach, the promenade, public transport stops, small shops, bars and restaurants. 'European' buffet even if there is little… we are on our fifth day and the buffet is now boring same spices on different dishes at the beginning are the novelty then boredom! comfortable three pools for families but the long sandy beach is really close. After all, if I were to use the pool I would have no way to have a cot because some guests occupy the sunbeds with their beach towels at about 2 a. M.

Stayed here for a week on late June. Location is excellent, a 3 min walk to the beach. All inclusive was excellent. So much variety with food, and when the restaurant was closed for set up, the hit was open by the pool where pizza, salad, burgers etc were available. Entertainment wasn't great but a walk up to the strip in 5 mins led one to lots of entertainment. Rooms were cleaned daily. Excellent excellent excellent.

You'll have the best time here, lovely staff, the best entertainment team I've ever seen (there's 10 of them! And it works so well). Great variety of activities for all ages, they're lovely people and really invest themselves in what they do! The food is good and varied, there's something available for everyone and you can get food and snacks all day.

We stayed there for 2weeks end may 18, well worst time of our life. Cold under cooked food, little alcohol choice at the bar, dirty pool outside, inside pool never opened, after 2 days we could of come home but couldn't get flights, ate out all the time as did not want food poisoning, rooms small and very basic lots of noise late at night and kids let to run round landings. There is no way this is a 4 star… No way. More like 2 star. So be warned I am a realist and you now know for yourself… Thanks.

Had a really lovely first family holiday, the entertainment was really good and the pools a good size and the bar and snack bar are brilliant. However I don't give the hotel 5 stars because the food was a hit and miss. Some days it was really nice but then it started to feel repetitive and the staff behind the bar are some days rude. Other than that, I wouldn't mind going again. And the rooms were really nice with spacious balconies and were extremely clean.

This hotel trades as a 4 star because the joining hotel same group next door is a 4 star, but is a horrible low budget hotel, the staff are mostly rude, the food is under cooked, and cold, very basic and does not change much, there is no adult entertainment, just kids, every one we met hates the hotel,,,, that's the hard truth,, but fact book at your peril,,, first holiday in 8 yes and worst one we ever endured,,,, anywhere,,,,

Hotel is ok, food is quite nice and the people seem friendly. The only thing is there are nowhere near enough beds by the pool, which leads to the ridiculous situation of people setting their alarms and going to the pool at 2am to put their towels down. We saw several people doing it one night as we were coming back from the bars outside the hotel. The pools are far far too small for the size of the hotel.

2 hotels 1 complex family's mainly in 1 food not bad if you are looking for night life will have to go out nice resort.

Brilliant place, friendly staff. Games through the day for adults and kids. We had an all inclusive package so there was a constant supply of food, soft drinks and alcohol the entire day. The weather was boiling everyday couldn't ask for more.

Unfortunately, the proportion of English guests has increased.

Nice enough and a good variety of food. Entertainment was a bit lacking though. We did visit before the season really started though so 4 stars rather than 3 to take that into account.

Nice hotel, staff were very friendly. The food is ok but very repetitive. The rooms were adequate and cleaned well every day.

Perfect for families it has a kids club with games of kubb, volleyball, football and connect. All staff are friendly and people will be able to understand what you mean if you don’t speak English. About 50 dishes available at every meal. It also has evening entertainment available with a kids disco from 8:30 and adult entertainment afterwards. Rooms are lovely and there is 3 hotels and you can get food and drinks from anyone and each one has a pool so there is a choice of 3 pools.

Very good hotel. Extraordinary people and good services. Just a little something. During the day they do not have intimacy the rooms. There's no curtains. Just a curtain. If you want clarity you have to have the curtain open.

Friendly staff. Delicious variety of dishes. The bar has a lot of choice, alcoholic also without alcoholic drinks. Rooms are cleaned every day. Every evening a lot of different activities. I recommend to take all inclusive. More.

This thought for foreigners especially the food.

Entertainment top notch, lovely location and 2 pools to relax by. No problem with sunbeds and really close to the beach and local bars. Bus stop just down the road for a bit of exploring. Nice rooms.

Little room around the pools, but the beach is 100m. Varied food, comfortable rooms.

The hotel is fine with facilities, but it is surprising that there is no soap in the bathroom and they send you to buy it at the super.
The food is very repetitive.

Great value for money. Very clean. Plenty of fun and helpful staff. My wife loves the area so much she wants to move to Santa Ponsa and I will have to get a job as a rep.

Too noisy, repetitive buffet, two stars for cleanliness and warm welcome. Not to be renewed. Disappointed!

This hotel is focused only on foreigners, animation in English, heated pool closed less when it rains, drinks white mark, buffet not very varied but good not you RECOMIEMDO it.

So far all good. Good food choices and plenty of it. Amenities good with plenty going on during both day and evening. All inclusive seems to be good value.

Unfortunately, there are hardly any free chairs to get by the pool.

Really nice place rooms cleaned everyday cleaners 10 out 10, all staff brilliant no waiting and restaurant brilliant we were here for my wifes birthday 4/september at tea time the staff surprised her with a bottle of Champagne well done globels will certainly be coming back again.

Repetitive food staff of little room Wi-Fi paying tiny rooms… beware when you do the excursions and you have to stay out for lunch… In this case get ready for breakfast sandwiches to take you away, because the picnic basket is only three Boccocini of bread a tin of tuna an apple and a bottle of water from not even half a liter…

Amazing food, well presented, comfy beds good entertainment oh and free booze! Only bad point is it's hard to get a sun lounger, people 'reserve' them dispite no reservation signs. Would gladly visit again.

It was brilliant both for kids and adults. We were all inclusive and one could not fault the food​, sure sometimes some of the food could be hotter but it's all about timing. Have a wander around and get drinks, breads, salads etc organised before you choose hot food. Replenished numerous times so no panic. Wine and beer on tap in restaurant. Pool was lovely but before anyone travels DO NOT bring or buy large inflatables as the lifeguard only allows rings. It's understandable as there would be no room in pool. Entertainment was fine and the team worked hard. Rooms were lovely and cleaned daily. Great showers. Lots of English TV channels including Disney for kids. Loved loved loved it.

Only slightly better than it's sister hotel — Hotel Globales Santa Ponsa. Food is mediocre, service is generally terrible with very rude wait staff. If you like to be verbally abused then this is the place to eat. Don't even think about complaining to the Thompson reps as they are not interested. If you want to raise a complaint then don't even bother trying to speak to reception, apart from one lady who is very helpful, the rest all roll their eyes. The best person for any complaints is the manager, to be very fair to him he was very helpful. Cleanliness in the restaurant is so/so with one elderly lady having a terrible accident after staff neglected to clean up a spill they were made aware of on no less than 2 occasions. If you like dirty swimming pools and sitting with lots of ants then this is the place for you. Honestly, find somewhere else to stay and save yourself the disappointment.

Overall it was a lovely holiday, especially for my first ever one abroad. People were lovely, cleaners were lovely, room was always cleaned for when we got back into the hotel. Beach was a 5 min walk and that had a fantastic sun set, really romantic. The only down side was the indoor pool wasn't open and was close until the winter season, however the outdoor pool was really cold and not a lot of people went into it. Would of been a 5 star experience if the indoor pool was open that's for sure. The food was lovely, could really make anything you wanted as there was such a choice! Breakfast was by far the best in my opinion. It was a lovely place to go and I would Defiantly go back. Streets were clean and the locals were really friendly. Such an amazing location. Really would recommend this hotel and location.

Excellent food… very clean. And very friendly… great for families. I have a 3-year-old boy. And I found it to be fabulous. I recommend it to everyone. Very good value for money For a 4 star…

Very average, and disappointment for several reasons.
Identical food almost daily, male staff very unfriendly bar, in my opinion "allergic to the french", the very expensive weekly safe rate (31, 50), animation for the small fort long (from 19:30 to 21:30) and show for adults have to be late and short (from 21:30 to 23: 00).
Booking of the chairs without authorization by the customer from 6:30 in the morning, if not more than space available after 8: 00.
Too much laxity on the part of the lifeguards at the pool. Dozens of balloons, cannot indulge quietly in swimming.
On the other hand, the rooms and the restaurant very well maintained.
But what is unfortunate is that there is not one person who speaks the french… or German, the language with which I could possibly make me understand. Only English and Spanish.!
In my opinion, there are huge efforts to do because I wouldn't recommend eyes closed to my friends…

Really good hotel. Very close to the beach. Good food choices.

Stayed here for three nights all inclusive April '16. Had a lovely time. My room was optimally sized, very clean, with good bathroom facilities, a nice balcony and comfy bed. The food was brilliant. The all-inclusive was a buffet, with options throughout the day — a pizzeria outside for snacks, and breakfasts, lunch and dinner in the main restaurant. Breakfast was good, lunch was fantastic with plenty of salad options, pizza and some more authentic Spanish things which I appreciated. Every day I could try a different type of fried fish. The bar offered plenty of options, including some on-tap cocktails which were okay. There were two pools outside, which were lovely. Lots of sunbeds and plentiful daily activities and evening entertainment. Would highly recommend. Fantastic value for what we paid.

It is a great hotel loved.

A good value hotel. Very convenient location only 2 minuets from the beach and town centre. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food is decent. Bar prices are a little high unless you are all inclusive. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. There are two swimming pools and plenty of sun loungers. There is also a pizzeria open all day.

The rooms were beautiful and the hotel interior in general also, the service terrific and everybody was very friendly.

Just had 10 days in Globales Pionero, fantastic hotel, Near to shops, bars, beach. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of variety in restaurant, close to buses and taxis, 10-15 minutes to Magalluf, Palma Nova, a little further to Palma, beautiful city. Can't wait to book again.

Value more than adequate service and courtesy definitely appreciable, simple but clean rooms and catered for. We had a great time.
