Hotel Golf Beach

I stayed with my family at the golf beach, simply amazing. Excellent value for money, no aircon, the staff go above, Big shout to Marc. Agnes. Malike who made our stay really special! Food is lovely. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and have big balcony’s. We will be back again.

Don’t listen to the old 4/5 star reviews, they are not accurate at all. Please avoid this place at all costs. Stayed here for 3 nights in July 2025 and it’s genuinely been the worst hotel I’ve stayed in.
Staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful. I asked if I could have a spare towel and they said they cannot, if I wanted an extra towel it would be €25 so we had to use the same towel for all 3 nights — when you’re paying £100 a night you expect fresh towels.
Upon booking I requested a double bed which they approved and said this is not a problem, then when we were showed our room, it was 2 singles and they said they do not have availability for a double.
The pool doesn’t open until 10am. We read that you could get aircon, however when we arrived it became apparent that this was a 4 night minimum so we’ve been sweltering at night with the terrible fans they’ve given.
The rooms are very basic — no one cleaned the rooms. Please avoid, I wish I’d known these things before booking.

I do not recommend this hotel. It is 33°C and they only change towels every three days. It has no air con. For me the beds are hard, they don't supply any soap, shampoo or conditioner like most hotels. They charge you for use of the safe even though each room has one. And it just feels old and outdated. The people at the front desk are very nice and the rooms are very big, BUT I would definitely not stay here again.

Me and my family stayed at the golf beach, Santa Ponsa. What can I say, simply amazing. Excellent value for money, the staff go above and nothing was too much trouble for them! Big shout out to Ines, Mazik and Juan who made our stay really special! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and have lovely big balcony’s, fans are also provided free of charge. We will 100% be visiting again. If you need a sign to book Golf beach hotel, this is it — you won’t be disappointed! Thank you for a great holiday and we will be seeing you very soon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Although the Hotel Golf Beach is only 2 Stars it's one of the best I have stayed in. Absolutely spotless, beds are comfortable and made every day, rooms cleaned daily reception, dining room, pool and grounds also. Food and drink is good and reasonably priced. Staff second to none couldn't do enough for you so very welcoming spoke with you and laughed with you too. The hotel plans on upgrading for a 3 star as at the moment not all rooms have air conditioning though there is a large ceiling fan and two small fans. They also plan on introducing a buffet style food. Ines, Maleke, John and Miguel very best wishes for your future. I would certainly recommend this Hotel.

My wife and I have stayed at the Golf Beach many times over the past 20 years. It now has new owners but they have kept all of the wonderful staff that makes your stay welcoming and pleasant. Some new decoration within the bar area and a new menu. The bar area at night is quite quiet this maybe the increase in drinks prices and not so many British guests as before.
Still if you are looking for a pleasant stay in Santa Ponsa for a reasonable price look no further.

I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The staff are super friendly and always happy to help. They offer a variety of add-ons for the room including air-con and fridges. The rooms themselves were tidy and a good size, the showers are nice and powerful too. They have a large menu of drinks and food as well. We spoke to the chef and they are also able to provide vegan food. The pool is a lovely addition and when we visited, it was never too busy. Plenty of sun-loungers too. The location is close to the big beach and within walking distance of lots of restaurants, the little beach and marina.

Just returned from yet another fabulous holiday at Golf Beach.
Highlight of holiday is the staff, so friendly the welcome they gave us was more like old friends meeting up. Which after 12/13 visits is about right. SP great holiday destination and can't think of better hotel to stay.
Under new management now (sad not to see Francisco) but change seems to be seamless. Best recommendation! 2025 already planned.

We recently stayed at Hotel Golf Beach, and I have to say, the staff here deserves 105 stars, not just 5! Malik, Ines, Julio, Juan-Toni, and everyone else (I might be forgetting some names, but you get the idea) were simply outstanding. The food was phenomenal, with prices that are more than reasonable. The pool, billiards, atmosphere, bar, and garden – everything is on a level far above what you would expect from a 2-star hotel.
Honestly, I don't understand the negative reviews from people who expect luxury from a 2-star place. For the price, you get so much more than you'd expect. The beach is close by, which is a huge plus. On our last day, we even met the owner in passing – such a pleasant and down-to-earth guy.
If you're looking for a great stay that gives you excellent value for money, I can't recommend Hotel Golf Beach enough.

We didn't stay at this hotel but discovered it last year when we went in for snacks at lunchtime and it's still as good as we remembered it. The most friendly staff and owners you could wish to meet and the food and drink is excellent and very reasonably priced. It has a lovely clean bar and terrace area. Highly recommend it for drinks and meals but reviews suggest it is a great place to stay as well.

We had a lovely time staying here for a 5 day last min break, arrived early and we could actually go to our room straight away hotel really kept clean and staff really friendly and respectful, we were made up feel so welcome by everyone.
Room very basic no air con or tea coffee making facilities but we knew that from reading up on it, towels changed 3 times per week and bed sheets once per week. Leave beds clear of personal belongings otherwise cleaners won’t make your bed as they don’t want to disturb your personal items which is fair enough.
No beach towels provided but you can purchase in the local shops or bring your own.
Supermarket right next door which is so handy opens early till really late.
Hair dryer in room but do bring your own as it takes ages to dry your hair if it’s longer (just a tip)
Bath and shower in room.
Nice balcony.
Pool.
Is nice and we had plenty of free sunloungers in June only a few umbrellas, pool area a real sun trap very hot so you might need unberella as as no shade.
We had some bar snacks and soft drinks and wine very nice and very reasonable.
Breakfast is served in hotel but you pay for whatever you want.
Location is great, nice road, 5 min walk to the beautiful Santa Ponsa beach and many restaurants and cafes and shops.
We thought this hotel was great for the money, the staff were some of the best we have stayed with and we’ll definitely be back.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They allowed us to stay all day at the hotel and use the pool even though we had checked out on our last day as our flights were not until late evening. They looked after our cases so we could go into the town and enjoy our day. They were wonderful and I would definitely go back there. The room was very clean and spacious with a balcony and two fans, the food was excellent and the pool was a good size to enjoy swimming lengths and getting some exercise. It’s also in a perfect spot, very close to all the restaurants, bars and shops including the bus stop which takes you anywhere around Majorca. A lovely holiday, can’t wait to come again, this hotel should NOT be a 2 star.

What a surprise this was. For the price, I was not expecting much other than a place to get some rest. I was on the island to meet a friend and only needed a room. I was blown away by the welcome, so friendly, genuine, and honest! Working in the hospitality service it was a massive positive that someone so caring and happy whilst welcoming me.
The rooms are real 90’s Spanish basic. But it was clean, had fans, good towels and wow, a decent shower with good temperature and pressure any time of the day!
I was shocked at how good the food from the restaurant/pool bar was, I needed a quick bite before a catch-up and the ham & cheese toastie came out fast and was filling, and priced right! The same with the breakfast, probably the best that I have had! So many thanks for offering great food at affordable prices!
Overall, book direct, save money, and enjoy a fantastic hotel that is in an excellent location! I will return for sure.

What a brilliant little find!
Staff are all so lovely (yes, even the night manager! ), nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are a decent size and fans are provided, beds are huge and very comfy. The pool area is an absolute sun trap so get your tanning done there 🥰
The food is decent and very reasonably priced, and you’re a 2 minute walk from the beach. There’s a little supermarket next door open early till late.
What a little hidden gem! Would definitely come back!

We booked this last minute for the bank holiday weekend has the price was so cheap. And wow how this is only a 2 star, I’ll never know. It’s worth another star. Iv stayed all over the world and some 5 stars have been poor compared to this hotel. Staff are amazing. They go all out to make you feel welcome. Make sure you have everything you need. It’s so clean. Even a leaf was removed from the pool floor. And the smell is so fresh. Food is lovely drinks are good prices. I can’t fault this hotel at all. Highly recommended. Only one thing is there is no aircon. But you are provided with fans.

Staff absolutely brilliant, very friendly. Good food and drinks.
