Zel Mallorca

Our stay at ZEL Mallorca was simply perfect – a clear 10 out of 10.
This hotel truly has everything you could wish for: a beautiful beachfront location, a wonderful pool, sauna, a well-equipped gym, and a great variety of sports classes. The breakfast, in particular, was absolutely outstanding – incredibly generous, high-quality, and one of the best we have ever had.
The entire hotel has a beautiful boho-style atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed and welcome from the very first moment. A pleasant signature scent flows throughout the hotel, adding to its unique charm. The cleanliness was also exceptional and deserves special mention.
A very special thank you goes to the staff. My mother and I stayed for one week, and unfortunately we experienced a medical emergency during our stay, and my mother became very unwell. The team took care of us during this difficult moment. They were not only professional and attentive, but they also gave me incredible emotional support.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved, and especially to Manuel.
All in all, this is a truly wonderful hotel where you feel cared for and safe. Highly recommended!

We stayed at ZEL Hotel Mallorca for my boyfriends birthday, and honestly, we were blown away. 🫶🏼
The staff were incredibly kind and helpful the whole time. No matter what we needed, they were always there, super friendly, and really went out of their way to make everything perfect for us.
The breakfast was hands down the best we’ve ever had at any hotel. So much variety, everything tasted amazing, and it all looked so beautiful, there was even a honeycomb where you could get your honey.
We also loved the pool area, perfect for relaxing, with great drinks and food at the bar. Our room was modern, super comfortable, and the sea view was just unreal.
The whole hotel feels really well thought out. There’s a cozy living room space, a great gym, and even a cute café for coffee, matcha, or chai.
We honestly loved every second of our stay and didn’t want to leave. It’s definitely one of the best hotels we’ve ever been to, and we’ll 100% be back.
If you’re thinking about booking it, just do it, you won’t regret it!

After reading a couple of reviews about this hotel I wasn’t sure what to expect but after staying for 5 nights I can honestly say the hotel could not be faulted. Everything was 100%. Rooms are spotless clean. The breakfast is definitely the best I have seen in a hotel and has something for everyone. Location is perfect and the bus stop is 2-3 minutes walk away and is well connected to Palma and the airport. Staff were always helpful and kind. Some bad reviews about the hotel but can’t please everyone at the end of the day.

The rooms and location were good, and right by the beach. The view was really very beautiful and I enjoyed the construction and facilities at the hotel. I used the sauna and got massages, but the steam room and whirlpool weren’t heated enough.
Unfortunately the service here fell short, making the experience quite average. When you enter the hotel there is no checkin desk, just 1-3 staff members randomly walking around to attend to people. When you ask them questions, they seem uninterested, don’t know the answers, and display attitude by rolling their eyes and looking confused. Not once was I met with a smile. They need some serious customer service training at this hotel.
The breakfast was alright here, but chaotic, as there were no lines so people were just cutting in at random places. There was only one chef taking orders for hot food, and maybe 10+ people at a time who were trying to get that chef’s attention. No queue or line to place orders.
This hotel needs a big improvement in their organizational skills. They are charging 5-star prices but delivering 2-star service. Due to this, I would not return.

My mom and I stayed at Zel Mallorca in August. The beach is beautiful and the breakfast buffet was the best we have seen at a hotel. I am leaving a review to specifically highlight Leti. She instructed several workout/yoga classes and I had so much fun at each one. My mom and I also attended her painting and macrame activities. She is so welcoming and was an absolute delight. She was the highlight of our stay and a true stand out amongst the staff.

We recently stayed at this hotel in Mallorca, and unfortunately it did not live up to the 5-star standard it claims. At best, it felt like a 3 — to 4-star experience.
The neighborhood was disappointing — not the quiet or exclusive setting we expected. It was actually quite noisy at night, which made it difficult to relax. The hotel itself has some nice decorative details, but overall it didn’t feel particularly luxurious.
The biggest letdown was the service. Most of the staff seemed unmotivated and unsure of their roles. Instead of attentive hospitality, we often saw employees standing around with little direction. The lack of structure created confusion and left us with the impression that the hotel is not managed well.
For the high prices they charge, the value just isn’t there. While the property has potential, the service, location, and overall atmosphere are far from a true 5-star experience. Hopefully management takes these issues seriously, because right now it does not deliver what it promises.

Can’t recommend this hotel enough! The location is amazing, right on the beach. The ambience and service were excellent, with everyone always willing to help and enhance our experience. The gym and pool area were great, with saunas, though unfortunately both hot tubs weren’t working. Our favorite part of the whole holiday was the breakfast, easily the best buffet we found in all of Spain: fresh, clean, delicious, and with so much variety. We rate this hotel and its restaurant 10/10!

I was really excited about staying at this hotel, but unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience.
First, there is no proper reception. When we arrived to check in, we had to wait for someone to eventually come assist us, and even then, we ended up completing the check-in process ourselves while the worker watched us complete it.
The staff were extremely rude throughout our stay. The valet repeatedly hassled us about moving the car, even though we were paying guests. He even threatened to charge us for parking—which we said was fine—but he continued bringing it up over and over despite me explaining that I would move the car. The following day, another worker mocked me when I asked a simple question. With the exception of the restaurant staff, most of the employees seemed inexperienced, unhelpful, and lacking in basic customer service skills.
Another major issue is that the restaurant and pool are open to the public. It feels unfair to pay for a room while having to share amenities with non-guests. It seems like this hotel has so much going on at once, and it seems like it is overwhelming them.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed.
While visiting the beach town of Santanyí, about an hour from the hotel, my friend and I experienced a traveler’s worst nightmare. We were robbed of everything: our phones, wallets, passports… We were stranded and shaken.
The hotel staff, especially the incredible manager were nothing short of extraordinary. Though they had no connection to the incident, they treated it as if it had happened to one of their own. They immediately stepped in to help: calling the police, contacting our airline and car rental company, and checking on us constantly. They didn’t just offer help; they offered care, empathy, and unwavering support.
Their generosity and compassion transformed what could have been a trip-ending event into a deeply touching experience. We were treated not as guests, but as family. That level of genuine hospitality is rare, and it’s something I’ll never forget.
This hotel is far more than just a beautiful place to stay it’s a haven run by people who truly care. I will absolutely be returning, not only for the destination but for the people who made it feel like home during one of our most vulnerable moments. We cannot thank the staff enough for what they did for us.

Loved this hotel! Stayed here to relax after Ibiza trip and was it was perfect. The vibe and decor of the hotel is so cool and open. Our room was ready early and check in was easy. The view from our deck to the ocean was beautiful. Dinner at beso beach was delish with great service. Location is great as well.

We really enjoyed our stay for one week at Zel Mallorca. From the arrival to our departure everything was perfect. Great vibe and concept, super friendly staff, stylish rooms and a delicious breakfast every morning in the sun with so much variety and choice. We really liked the pool, coffee shop, the fitness center as well as the fitness classes. It was a great location to explore the Island and it was easy to park our car in the area. Thank you to the whole team — keep being you in the Med!

Everything was perfect from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed by Anna and Jay Jay, who were incredibly kind and helpful. The atmosphere at the hotel was just right, beautifully decorated, with excellent food service. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be coming back again!

Beautiful, modern, clean hotel. Young refreshing vibe. No reception desk for check in, they come to you. Very nice, easy. Rooms immaculately presented, as was all of the hotel. Great restaurant and bar area. Spacious. Breakfast was so good. Everything you need, great coffee. Beachfront location wonderful. Pools looked good although obviously we have just visited so not swimming weather just yet for us. Clean beachfront area. Our room overlooked road so not great view unfortunately but not in there for long. Bed very comfortable. 4th floor. Quiet. Definitely use this hotel again.

Absolutely wonderful hotel! Dreamy dreamy dreamy! Staff were just fabulous. The breakfast buffet was delicious, plenty variety and topped up regularly. The rooms were just super. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only one downfall was the Sun not by the pool all day but more than likely due to the time of year. Would absolutely return.

We really enjoyed our time at Zel Mallorca. Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking onsite for additional cost (first come first serve). Large breakfast buffet right by the beach. Beautiful rooms with special attention to detail. Fully stocked mini bar and snacks for a cost. We did not use the pool but it looked nice! We would absolutely stay here again.

The room was recently renovated and quite nice, with a fantastic view and a prime location that adds great value to the stay. However, the experience was let down by a few issues. The staff seemed poorly trained, and there was no proper reception to handle guest concerns, making it difficult to address any problems. The hotel's restaurant played loud music late into the night, and it resumed at noon the next day, making it hard to relax during the day as well. My sea-view room also overlooked the pool, and every morning around 7 AM, the staff began cleaning the pool area using very loud equipment, which was quite disruptive. Additionally, there was no 'Do Not Disturb' sign available, and housekeeping entered between 2 and 4 PM while I was taking a nap, despite me being in the room. These issues affected my overall comfort during the stay and made me regret picking this hotel for my holiday.

It’s a such wonderful experience to stay with ZEL.
The View is perfect, service is good and sweet, room is clean and comfortable!
We enjoy the breakfast every morning, food is delicious.
