JS Sol de Alcudia

Just finished my stay in October and was brilliant. Lovely staff, great room with comfy bed and good food, especially at dinner which always had a very wide variety of food. Very close to the beach, and both check in and check out was incredibly simple. Would highly recommend.

I stayed at this hotel in early October 2025 for a cycling holiday and it is very nice. The rooms are small but spotlessly clean and modern with everything you need except for a kettle (you have to pay 5 euros to hire a kettle).
The food is excellent, both breakfast and evening meal had a good selection. You have to pay for drinks for the evening meal but breakfast drinks are included. The waiters are polite and very efficient.
The hotel is setback from Alcudia strip so the road noise is ok and only a 5 minute walk from the amazing beach.
I would like to return to this hotel next year but l won't for one reason…. They no longer allow you to keep your bike in your room. There is free hotel bike storage but it is outside in a secure tent, I am not happy leaving my high value bike in there.
Please return to the policy of allowing bikes in the rooms and I will return, you will also get a lot more cyclists if you allow bikes in the rooms once again.

Extremely neat and clean with the added bonus of a sauna, steam room, solarium and indoor pool at the end of the corridor. Didn't take up the HB option, however the food and drink we did have was great and good value. Downside was that the room was small but very well appointed. The balcony looked out onto the workshop for the hotel opposite but wasn't a big deal for us.

This hotel feels somewhat overrated. The rooms are very clean and modern, but the beds are unfortunately too small for two people to sleep comfortably. Some beds have two mattresses and you can slip between them during sleeping. The staff is professional and friendly, and housekeeping serviced the room daily, providing fresh towels.
We had half board, and while the food options were varied, the quality was disappointing. Many ingredients seemed low-cost, and some items were clearly reused the next day in sandwiches. One evening, we even found raw meat in the food while eating. The coffee was terrible, both in the restaurant and at the separate bar area but the drinks served on the breakfast were decent — orange, pineapple etc.
Another downside is that no drinks are included at dinner—not even water. A bottle of water costs €3.50, and you’re not allowed to bring your own to the table. On a few occasions, we ended up dining elsewhere due to the poor quality of the food. I would recommend offering better cuts of meat and improving ingredient quality overall.
The spa area has 5 inside sunbeds, turkish sauna and dry sauna. The pool is very clean and the water is heated. 5/5 for the SPA zone.

Room.
My room was tidy and comfortable, with a modern bathroom and a great walk-in shower. The bed was cozy and made it easy to get a good night’s sleep after busy days.
Food.
Breakfast and dinner were served as a buffet with lots of variety. There was always something tasty to choose from, and it never felt repetitive.
Service.
The staff really made the stay special. Everyone at reception, in the restaurant, and at the bars was genuinely friendly and welcoming. You always felt taken care of with a smile.
Facilities.
The gym may be small, but it has everything you need for a proper workout. The spa area was a highlight – the sauna, steam sauna, and big jacuzzi were perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
Overall.
A wonderful week with great service, good food, and relaxing facilities. Would happily come back!

This hotel is not a true 4 star hotel.
It's more like a 3 star hotel. Don't stay here expecting great service. The vibe of the staff and hotel policy is very CHEAP. The furniture and room layout is cheap, hardly any chairs or tables to leave your stuff. No conditioner, no room slippers. Wi-Fi sucks, hardly worked. Beach towels, you need a cash deposit, not a big deal but not as assessable as other hotels we stayed at. Never had a 4 star hotel, called us right at 12:00 to remind us to check out. Usually all hotels are lenient but this four star hotel specially acts super cheap.

From the very first moments, we felt the hospitality – the staff are always friendly, attentive, and ready to help in any situation. A special thanks to the team for their smiles and warm attitude – this is what truly creates the atmosphere of a real holiday.
The food at the hotel deserves special praise: the dishes are varied, delicious, and always fresh. Every day there was something new to try, and the presentation was just as pleasing as the taste.
The accommodation fully lived up to my expectations: clean, cozy, and modern rooms, comfortable beds, and impeccable housekeeping. Everything is designed so that guests feel as comfortable as possible. Our stay was truly enjoyable, and we really didn’t want to leave. We will definitely come back here again and will gladly recommend this hotel to my friends and family! 🌿✨

Great hotel. Lovely food selection for breakfast and evening meal. Rooms were a bit small but clean and modern.
Pool was amazing with loungers available. Pool bar was lovely too, bar staff great fun and friendly.
Entertainment was good fun, different every night.
Beach and shops all within walking distance. Would deffo go back!

Incredible service! The staff are so lovely and great (Deserve good tips! ). Lovely drinks and good food with a mix of new and the same general fair. Buffet dinner with both food for adventurous and picky eaters. The drinks are to die for, especially the daiquiris! I would recommend the extra for the pool views as it is simply stunning with the mountain and alcudia canal in view, as well as the pool. The pool itself is lovely with a pool bar and shallow kids pool as well as a deep end for swimming. No competition for sun loungers! There are always loungers available till 10 am when breakfast ends as people do both the pool and explore the town. Sports on inside the bar and entertainment on at night but is good for those preferring less entertainment as only one act on at night while you have a cocktail. It's a bit lively in the surrounding area if that's for you, and if it's not then the triple glazing on your balcony works to silence it. Couldn't recommend more!

We came home today 11/7/25. It’s our second time staying in this hotel. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Staff are lovely, rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast and evening meals are great. Lots to choose from. Nice little gym. Great spa.

Great hotel one of the best we’ve stayed in. Stayed for 8 nights, the rooms and hotel in general were very clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful — we asked if we could upgrade to a pool view room on arrival and since they had one available this was done no problem.
We only had B&B so I can’t speak for the dinner selection but they breakfast was great with good variety.
The pool area was also very clean and there was always loungers available — the pool bar is such a great feature also and the bar staff are fun and friendly.
One thing that could possibly be improved on is the lack of activities/games etc at the pool during the day, however this may not be that kind of hotel.
The location is also great, 2 minutes walk to the strip where there loads of bars, shops and restaurants available. About a 15 minute walk to the port which we did a couple of evenings but a taxi can also be got which takes 5 minutes and costs less than €10.
Would highly recommend this hotel and we will be back 🏖️

Couldn't fault this hotel. Staff are super friendly and attentive. Breakfast and dinner was great. Really good variety and one night the head chef went out of his way to make a pasta dish from scratch for my coeliac girlfriend. It was hugely appreciated. Small walk to the beach, restaurants and bars. Recommend the terrace rooms. Big huge terrace overlooking pool with its own sunbeds. They become a sun trap in the afternoons if it's windy by the pool.

Honestly this is a great hotel, fully equipped for all activities, suitable for family and people. Every night the hotel offers live music performances, I appreciate this, in addition to the hotel has a swimming pool and sauna inside, helping people with musculoskeletal diseases to be able to swim and recover, which is absolutely great. I have some suggestions for the hotel, the first is about the reception style of the male staff, not very friendly, the second is the most important is cleaning the room, need to be more meticulous. Another thing is that the room is exposed to outside light at night, it is really quite uncomfortable. I highly appreciate the attentive service of the hotel receptionist, her name is Dagmar, she is wonderful, she knows many languages ​​and can communicate well in German, she also helped us with a few things. We are completely satisfied and appreciate the hotel, I can only continue to recommend it to everyone.

Had a wonderful week at the JS Sol Alcúdia. The breakfast and dinner buffet was always very tasty and staff were very accommodating. The hotel pool was enjoyed by our son and he loved saying hello to the lifeguard. The hotel also has an adult spa area my wife and I enjoyed relaxing in. The hotel is a short walk from the beach and main road for buses. It also has nightly live entertainment. We would recommend staying and come back again. A bit of a warmer outdoor pool and slightly earlier evening entertainment would be our only suggestions. Thanks JS Sol.

Pros:
Meals — Very good variety of meals and breakfast was really good. The queue for hot drinks can get busy so be warned.
Hotel Staff — For us the staff were great. From the restaurant chefs, waiters and waitresses and reception they were very helpful and friendly. Great conversation all round.
Rooms — The rooms were cleaned everyday by a dedicated cleaner over your stay.
Cons — No entertainment around the pool or seating areas through the day. There is soft music playing throughout but it could get a little boring and more engagement needed. Even pool aerobics or something would have been nice.
Jacuzzi — Only 6 loungers in the Spa. Go very early if you can.
Small fridge in the rooms. The fridge is on the small (slightly smaller than your standard mini fridge) side and only sizeable for water and small drinks.
Overall evening entertainment could be of better quality — Not sure if it was due to coming into low season but could have had more variety.
Bonus pros — 5-8 minute walk to the beach front (maximum). Excellent beach and clear warm water. Very shallow far out!
20 minutes walk to Port D'Alcudia.
Taxi or bus to Alcudia Old Town (Taxi is around 10 mins) and costs between €9-€11.50 each way.
Amenities right on your doorstep. Overall enjoyable stay. Would Recommend.

Currently staying at this hotel, from check in till today I wouldn't recommend this hotel. We were asked to pay for our stay upfront with we did, we weren't offered any help to bring our bags upstairs or didn't get a welcome drink which other guests are receiving. The rooms are very small, the furniture is all ikea or similar standard. Beds are uncomfortable and we wake up with back pain during the night. The shower fluctuates between hot and cold and could easily cause burns. The hotel is not well maintained, signs are hanging off the walls, tiles are broken and cracked. The pool is so cold even in nice weather it's too cold to use as it's not heated. Food is only served until half 3 and there's very little choice. Service isn't great, left waiting a very long time. Nachos we had were brought out burnt. I think the hotel could be alot nicer if it was done up and revalitilised but in it's current state I'd recommend to go to another hotel. The price is also quiet expensive for the standard of the hotel.
