Awesome experience à the Westin Palace. The staff is really nice and does everything to make your stay perfect. Breakfast is so good; everything you would like is there… We tried the Green Tea Sushi & Cocktail restaurant — awesome food! The location is great; close to pretty much everything; especially near by the pretty Parco del Retiro and the museum Thyssen-Bornemisza. Don’t ask yourself if you should book it; but when you should go!

Very nice hotel. First, the location is very good, among the three famous mesures at Madrid. Second, The appearance of the hotel looks like a “palace” too, and the inside is good also. The dome at the lobby, where we have breakfast, is amazingly beautiful, which is made of colorful glazes. Most importantly, the staff at reception and for breakfast are all very efficient and friendly. The staff at reception are proficient in business.

I’ve stayed here before but what will grab you is the stunning lobby and bar area with the stained glass dome. Awesome. Also, I just had the best gazpacho here and I’ve been sampling it for 2 weeks. Delicious.

My favorite hotel in Madrid! I stayed there few times. Great location, close to everything but very quite and peaceful place. Walking distance to Prado museum and Plaza Mayor. The business center was easy to find and use. Nice big room with good air con. Impeccable cleanness. Really nice reception area. Friendly stuff. The recommendations from the Concierge were always on point. Great place!

I was a guest of this 5th for an event and I can't estimate the cost. The hotel however is really nice with great amenities and very helpful staff. Indeed, very helpful! There is a gym and a great breakfast. I can't give 5 stars just because the Wi-Fi was really ridiculous in terms of speed. Bad if you're here for work.

Amazing hotel! it is in walking distance of many attractions such as plazas, shops, parks, and more. The food at the breakfast buffet is fresh and delicious. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was smaller than I expected but it was very nice! the bathroom is my room was also quite enjoyable. My only complaint is that the cleaning crew missed my room at least three times during rhe day for cleaning, but at the end of the day, it was cleaned and deemed acceptable.

Check-in from hell! All I wanted wa a room with a shower instead of having to shower in a bathtub, which does not feel safe or comfortable. This was beyond them and the reception clerk Miguel lied and said there were none, then sent me looking at dreary rooms (@500/night) for one hour. Hello, I have stayed here 2 dozen times and there are rooms with showers! Westin, pay attention please. These people need guidance. Miguel actually said to me: Hey, we have 470 rooms, I can’t pay attention to just one person. ” Says it all!

I like to concentrate on the hotel bar, as someone who has worked in hotels before and now enjoys to staying at them, I especially like to check out the bar. At times the hotel bar doesn't drive the revenue and can be somewhat forgotten, especially in a city like Madrid that is full of bars and most them probably less expensive then a 5 star hotel bar. However this bar was really delightful. The staff was nice but unobtrusive and most important of all the cocktials were mixed at a very high level. I liked the classic interior as well. I will be back.

We were there several times years ago. Even higher than the Reina Palace. Prices a bit high though.

Excellent location — — wonderful museums are literally right across the street, and the neighborhoods surrounding the hotel are full of great cafes, shops, and parks. The hotel itself is beautiful, with spacious, clean, and relaxing rooms. The hotel's breakfast buffet and brunch are delicious and have a great variety of food.

This is my third day here. When we arrived, we were assigned a room and when we entered, it was not ready. But the front desk manager was hospitable enough to offer us two complementary drinks as compensation. It was really a sweet gesture as we had arrived prior to their check in time and it was not mendatory for them to give us a room immediately. Hotel is strategically located in the center of the city and close to the Happening areas and good shopping. Will be happy to come back.

A beautiful hotel and all of the sightseeing is absolutely breathtaking. If ever you go to Spain, you must go to this hotel. Our trip was arranged by our travel agent liberty travel in Burlington, Massachusetts.

I went to an event and everything was great. On the way out I went to take a taxi and it is very comfortable that they have own taxi stand. A service of 10.

This is a lovely hotel in a lovely location. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. A bit old school but that's the feel of the hotel overall so I guess it fits in. The Reception staff are friendly and smiling and do their best to help. However, the staff at the restaurant where breakfast is served is simply miserable… Let me stress again… MISERABLE. Not a single smile… Actually, forget about a smile, if looks could kill, all the guests would be poor victims. And I am really not kidding. Overall the breakfast buffet has varied options that work. There is also an egg counter so they can make eggs any style for the guests. The breakfast hall actually is really quite nice actually so worth trip even if you have to ensure the nasty staff. Besides the restaurant staff the hotel is worth a visit therefore the 4 stars.

In this establishment I have only come to the cafeteria area for snacking. It must be recognized that it is very beautiful (with a dome of the magnifying glass) and it shows that in this hotel it takes care of every detail.
Although something expensive (the quality must be paid) everything was very rich: we ordered coffees, milkshakes and cupcakes.

Great hotel in front of the Congress of Deputies. High prices as it corresponds to a five stars of great luxury. It has all kinds of services. Spectacular to have a beer under the Great dome, although this cost €11.

Superb magical neo-classical style place of the early 20th century built by a French architect. The rooms are spacious and offer pleasant wells of colorful lights thanks to the beautiful stained glass Windows. The restoration is at the height of the premises. The service is efficient without being ostentatious. The ideal place to discover one of the facets of the refinement of the Madrid capital.

Magnificent hotel located in the centre of Madrid. Exclusive and therefore not adcesible to all pockets. The exterior facade and its night lighting is beautiful. If you want to be treated like a king, have a coffee in his cafeteria.

Great history and located in a central spot. Currently they have updated and non updated rooms. Recommended to get the updated ones of possible. Food downstairs was good as well.

This is a very nice hotel, offering very comfortable rooms and very good meeting facilities. They ain‘t cheap, but good :) I liked their fitness area on the top floor, accessible 24hours a day. I also appreciated the friendliness of the staff. Location is good and the only thing that could have been better is a very silly thing — I really would have wanted a water kettle in my room. You can order a single cup of tea a day, but I feel that this type of hotel can and should do better when it comes to tea. Other than that, I really loved the hotel — I had a marvelous stay and highly recommend it, if you can get it at a good price…

I went to the Japanese restaurant inside. The sushi is amazing, prepared at the moment and very fresh. The seaweed salad is the best I have ever tasted and the coulant of the dessert a delight. Worth the price, very expensive but it is very good choice if you want to give yourself a very fancy once in a while.

Beautiful place. Magnificent cafeteria with a very professional deal. Everything exudes luxury and comfort. Very clean. Although its prices are very high (6 euros a coffee) you are served with pasta, there are newspapers and sofas and chairs comodisimas. In addition it is decorated with tapestries and antique furniture that give a pleasant feeling of well-being. Very central.

5 * Hotel in a magnificent building that was built by a French company in 11 months. The Bobeda of the main hall is spectacular. It is worth taking a snack in your bar to go over a bit of your story. Of course it's not cheap.

Impressive building, stays, attention.
You can take light things in your large living room with stained glass on the ceiling.
I don't get tired of going, although access would be a futile effort.
I liked it when they played the grand piano in the living room.

As always a hotel in the Westin chain very elegant if you are in the center of Madrid and you escape the pee entrances with safe and casual air and look for the toilets very clean and also very elegant.

Perfect Hotel in the heart of Madrid. 5 stars Great luxury. I put 4 stars because I think the price is too high for me although for other people it is not. The façade is old and quite well maintained. It has all the possible services that a hotel of these characteristics should have. Parking included.

Excellent hotel with amazing design and great breakfast. Very good breakfast and staff, however most of the interior and regular rooms are far extraordinary, yet still rather expensive. Location is great though, so if You’re travelling on business and still want to experience Madrid downtown in the evenings, it’s a really good choice.

A luxury hotel. Very friendly staff and always willing to cater for any need. Large rooms with a very comfortable bed. Very luxurious facilities, especially the restaurant area with its wonderful dome. It is worth to go in even if it is to have a coffee to see it, even expensive.
I do not give the 5 stars because if you want Wi-Fi in the room you have Q pay €19 a day when any hotel has free Wi-Fi.

Heavenly beds and a cool cocktail bar in the lobby. This turn of the century hotel is a gem. Right across the street from the Prado and easily accessible to central Madrid and transit. Beautiful rotunda in the restaurant as well. You can find decent deals online as well.

One of the most beautiful hotels in Madrid, right in the centre.

There was a random crowd of Indian folks waiting for a bollywood star to come through all day. Kind of made it hard to get in and out because police were being weird. Other than that was a nice place.

5 star hotel with all the letters. In the neighborhood of the letters of Madrid, next to the area of museums, in an emblematic building of 1 century old and with a dome of multicolor glass in the living room of the main restaurant impresses with see it… very spacious rooms and all the comforts (exceptional bed) and the best service I've ever had the pleasure to receive in all my travels around the world. A true 5 star hotel as there are few.
Also outstanding brunch — operates Sunday, with a huge variety of food of all kinds, wines, juices, cavas… and all this livened up with opera live according to a sign that varies with the season.
Totally recommended.

It is a very nice site. Have a room to the reception with a dome of glass spectacular. The entire hotel is care to the maximum in every detail. The service is unbeatable people are very prepared and with a perfect education. Worth going to visit him and if you can to lunch or dinner the restaurant is incredible.

Rude staff. Unclean rooms. Extreamly overpriced. The staff were arguing me about the whether I had prepaid for the room on priceline after I showed them confirmation and insisted on charging my credit card for the stay. They refused to contact priceline and I had to argue with them for 30 mins at checkout before they understood the situation.

Very spacious place, comfortable. However the room of meetings had problems of visibility cn them volumnas.

They assisted me with fragile luggage and helped with any questions. Clean rooms, excellent location and comfortable stay.

The Palace is, to level global, one of the many treasures of Madrid that all the world should know. As a visitor, simply strolling inside, the ideal is to go to the central hall with the huge dome-shaped stained glass and sitting down to take a good snack, a coffee or a tea accompanied by some delicious pasta. The chairs are spectacular, everything is clean and the service is very professional.
A marvel and a luxury to a high price as it is logical.

The décor of the hotel is incredible, with friendly multilingual staff and excellent dining options right in the hotel. The fitness facilities are also good, and it's a bit of a hunt to find them the first time.

We ate in the restaurant Asia Gallery. Environment and excellent decoration. You can find Cantonese food and Southeast Asian dishes. Very good quality but in our case it took enough to assist us and it seemed that he wasn't very committed service and cuisine. I understand that it will be some time but for the price and the place where they can't afford those mistakes.

1, some very good staff but some do not live up to 5 star standard, 2, promised to send a crib for my baby (it's not a late check in) but they didn't. They didn't notify us, and told us they were given to other guests late at night.

Green tea is a small Japanese restaurant within the Hotel Palace. Se accessed via a staircase from the main lobby of the Hotel, and just enter, the first thing that draws attention is the small space in the dining room, with just 8 or 10 small tables and quite close to each other. Against the decorative displays of other Japanese restaurants, in Green tea, except for some details, label it based on your letter and kitchen essentially Japanese with any proposed merger. Good the nigiri mix and the maki, sashimi with fresh fish and quality, and essential to the Black Cod. In our case, the dessert was the least remarkable thing.
As for its location and quality meal at Green tea does not get cheap, especially if you do not skimp with wine, but there is the possibility of booking with any offer, which makes it affordable and highly recommended.
Meals Japanese quality, avoiding stereotypes, welcoming atmosphere and very, very "intimate".

When we were in Spain on a family vacation at the end, we live here in three rooms. So, one night before New Year's Eve. Not clear what the previous comments say about this hotel, but we live here very happy! Beautiful room, the lobby, and great services. Our only recommendation is to find a that can speed up check in follow-up and checkout process. A comment complaining about hotel room coffee, but this, to me, nothing.

Service was ok. Room service food is abysmal and no spare HDMI cables anywhere in the hotel and staff would not go and buy one.

She is a good Belle Époque-style hotel, just across from the Prado. Almost from here you can walk to all the attractions of the old quarter of Madrid. Their restaurant is very good, especially the breakfast. Their service is outstanding as well. Palace hotel room is nice and clean. My only complaint is that there is a part of torn towels should be changed. I will stay there again.

Fantastic hotel Palace Café. You can be don be hosted. Sometimes live piano music. The glass dome is spectacular and refined decoration. Simple coffee no less than seven euros, from there up, although it does not hurt for special occasions.

Comment on the cafeteria. Under an impressive dome style Art nouveau, we find the cafeteria. Sofas, padded chairs, a giant carpet and a floral Center that change depending on the season. You can that you even agree when the pianist. Cafés although somewhat expensive, nor is to lend hands to the head. €7.0 cafe con leche. The place is definitely worth it.

Lovely hotel within only a few minutes' walk of the Prado (and only slightly further from Reina Sofia) and the Retiro Park. Rooms are a decent size, breakfast selection is huge and very enjoyable, and staff helpful.

This hotel served as a hospital during the civil war.

The site is very nice, the chairs very uncomfortable. Tables are strange and legs I stuck with the top of the table. In terms of very good quality, but the amounts are very small, the Nigiris that rice is tiny and small enough tartare. With the price of the promotions of the fork it seems expensive. It is not of the best Japanese restaurants in madrid although East at a great hotel in madrid.

Great experience visiting the Rotunda of the Palace, good service and good food in a spectacular setting. It is beautiful! And treat you great. We take a special menu as Thanksgiving, and it was all delicious.

Me and my husband had a beautiful stay in Westin Palace. The staff were very polite and friendly. Since we are SPG members we were upgraded to free high-speed internet, which was very nice. The location of the hotel is awesome! right in heart of Madrid, close to the museums, Retiro park, Royal Palace, Puerta del sol, Plaza Mayor, San Miguel Mercado, and many restaurants, cafes and bars. The only negative comment I have was about a taxi that the hotel watchman got for us to take us to the airport. When the watchman asked which terminal we are going to, my husband decided to go back in the hotel where he had access to Wi-Fi to check his United App to figure out the terminal number. The watchman didn't let us go back in the hotel. He assured us that the taxi driver has a chart that matches the airlines with the terminals, so he knows exactly which terminal he should takes us to. The airport was very far. We finally got there. The taxi driver was unloading our luggage and we were looking for United Airline sign, but we were not able to find it. Apparently we were at the wrong terminal. The taxi driver was trying to convince us in Spanish that this is the right terminal. There was another taxi driver who heard our conversation. He told us with confidence that we are at the wrong terminal and we have to go to terminal 1 before we lose our flight. My husband was confused! One taxi driver was saying that this terminal is right and the other one was saying it's wrong.

This hotel is one of the best and oldest of the capital of Spain. Those hotels as soon as you enter the Hall, it seems as if the walls of the same you were talking about and endowed you thousands and thousands of stories that have taken place within its walls. It is very well located, in the Paseo del Prado and in front of the fountain of Neptune (Plaza de Cánovas del Castillo). And it has unbeatable views. Regarding the price, what say! It is a 5 star hotel and famous national and international staying regularly. But of course, the price is worth and is hotel exudes luxury and quality everywhere.

Deplorable treatment of the reception. To be a hotel which is luxury and full service customer, I was completely disappointed. Some friends who came from abroad stay 3 nights at this hotel with breakfast included. As the last day you had that go before the start of the breakfast time, ask at the front desk as they can for breakfast that morning. It tells me that by having breakfast already paid, for 5 euros takes you a breakfast continental room. My friends ordered the breakfast with a couple of fried eggs. To go through the reception when you check out charged 46 euros for 2 fried eggs. And to top it off they wanted to charge a phone call from the room never came to completion as not responded to the call. I imagine that only by mark even if the call is not completed they charge should be. Also in front of the hotel to ask the employee that you get cars and taxis if you can leave the car a moment to go to services on the theme of being in front of Congress and the Municipal police. Tells me that the vigilandolo and in August nothing happens. Because the turn the bathroom had a yellow note of local friends with 200 euros fine. That joy. Madrid is a beautiful city but this hotel scam tourists. Nothing advisable, if you like that you cheated well.

As a special treat or for a celebration, I love the Sunday Opera Brunch under the amazing cupola. Live opera and a delicious buffet make a great combination.

It is worth to enter to see the reception halls and the dome of stained-glass windows of the restaurant, is a beauty. Only that is the reason why I had been taking coffee to 7, 5€ but unfortunately the cafeteria is in the same room as the dome, but in an adjacent English pub-style.

With location which has at the hotel this great truth is not this so expensive, the food is super rich and varied the desserts home are exquisite, decoration is a little outdated but if it is true that this based entirely in a colonial era, but always can be improved without losing the style service and people who serve are definitely very educated to eat this fairly well.
