Excellent room service as a compensation of a restaurant for an evening dining. The “47 East” bar attached to the hotel is nice with excellent tapas proposal.

Great location and not overly noisy from the street. Great amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful. Biggest issue are the thin walls. You can hear everything in the rooms next to you. We were unfortunately staying at the same time as a large tour group that were slamming doors until 2am. Even staying at the end of the corridor, we were constantly waking up with the noise.

Great place, location, staff & service. But 1). All room Cupboard hinges need to be oiled — they are squeaking loud enough to wake the dead… 2). Bath/shower tub needs extra anti-slip mat — someday someone, esp if N American, will slip & fall & sue the hotel for it's entire value. 3). Providing just one day's supply of free coffee pod/s is a ridiculously idiotic business practice for those who stay several days. Either remove the service altogether or spend a few pennies to maintain your 5 star image.

Good hotel, very centrally located. I was offered a room with a stunning view on the city, and a beautiful romantic balcony. The toiletries are nice — branded from The White House — first time I did not have to use my own shampoo :) The breakfast may not be the best one, but is still decent. Great service!

This place was amazing. Beautiful location and beautiful rooms. The breakfast buffet is also amazing. Such a great spread. I would definitely recommend.

If you are ever in Madrid, Hotel Villa Real is the place to stay! The accommodations are wonderful but more importantly, the entire staff is fantastic! They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and treat you so special! Simply the best!

Gorgeous. Accommodating in every sense of the word. Front desk staff, restaurant staff… everyone. Well-appointed and clean rooms. Bigger than most I’ve found in Europe, or even NYC, for that matter. Terrific location. Walked to everything. Great bars and restaurants everywhere. Will absolutely stay again if we return to Madrid.

Position Central, welcome drink both at the bar and in the room, kindness of the staff, courtesy kit. Definitely.

The room is very nice and has a great shower. However, it is very noisy. You can here every door open, every footstep, every disturbance from inside the room.

Beautiful hotel, very comfortable. Centrally located near Prado. Rooms were very nice with comfy beds, good closet and storage space. Beautiful bathrooms. Gym was very small, barely enough room for one person. Pool on the roof top. Restaurant was excellent and there is a nice bar. Would come back.

Great value, in a great location. We had a good sized room with a king-sized bed, view of the square with balcony. Friendly staff, one of the best rated restaurants in the area. Really nothing to complain about, throughly enjoyed our trip.

We hired it for its exceptional location, very professional staff, very varied and quality breakfast. The rooms in general a bit old.

The location of the hotel is excellent, opposite the Congress of Deputies and a small square that opens to the Plaza de Cánovas del Castillo, with the legendary fountain of Neptune. However, it is somewhat small and narrow, of not very high ceilings in some of the lounges, so it makes more sense to use it as a more collected hotel and not for big events. Moreover, its location is ideal when you come to Madrid for tourist reasons, the proximity to museums and in general to the historical part of Madrid, but it is very inconvenient when it comes to a business trip, as the business area is concentrated alred Edor of Azca.

Very good, the reception is very cordial, also send a lot of gifts and candies to my daughter. The nearby is the best of Madrid's three largest museums opposite the Spanish House of Representatives.

Lovely size rooms, very quiet despite location. Lovely views of Congress from the room. Bit dated in the rooms themselves however this didn't bother us at all. Lovely hotel.

Love the hotel. Great service. Rooms are spacious! Only a couple downsides: bed is a bit small and the AC didn't work (they sent someone but by then it fixed itself, but the next day started to make noise). It does not get as cold as we would like it. Otherwise everything perfect. Beautiful view, great location. We had drinks and tapas and everything was good.

Stayed here from 7/14 to 7/19/17. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was extremely good. Service was professional and outstanding, extremely friendly and helpful. Also a great location.

Bad customer service & joke for a pool. Next hotel has the pool & shares with them and that's if you go to street, go up 6 levels, pass thru lobby & bar to get to what's called pool it's a kiddie pool.

Amazing hotel, amazing service!
Fresh, delicious breakfast! (and cheaper than other 5 star hotels). You have a menu for your breakfast to choose from (besides cold meat, cheese and fruit buffet), freshly made pancakes, omelet and even champagne (cava). Fruits were fresh and seasonal (even had cherries). Ham was fresh and also delicious! Coffee at the breakfast was not great but we had coffee machine with capsules in the room.
All working staff is incredibly friendly!
Rooms are big and clean. Even the bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and sleep mists are big enough to use 4-5 times!
The position is so great so that you can WALK to the center, lots of amazing restaurants around the corner with superb food.
And the most important thing for our family — our son has lost his precious toy somewhere in the hotel. We have left 2 days later and our toy was still missing. By the time we have arrived home we got a phone call from the hotel that they have found it! And they sent it for their expenses (even though we have offered to pay for the sipping)! Isn't it a 5 star attitude? I think they deserve 6!

It's beautiful but the suites are on the small side. I love the mosaics everywhere. Also, the two floor design is awkward, especially with the staircase being so close to the bathroom entrance. One small misstep out the bathroom door, and you're the next lawsuit plaintiff. Otherwise, very comfortable hotel. The location is top notch, right next door to the Spanish Congress building and walking distance from all the best tourist attractions. Plus, the hotel bar is great too.

Courteous, friendly staff. Beautiful appointments, but the rooms are rather tight. They're certainly not for large sized humans like me. Otherwise, it's fabulous. You couldn't ask for a better location in Madrid. You're a 15 minute walk from just about everything you'd want to see.

Very well located but it is not a 5 star hotel. Probably used to be one. Wifi connection is poor, rooms are medium sized but fairly dark, brownish bed cover and dark wooden furniture makes it look outdated. During my stay I also experienced power shortages.

We're in Madrid for 3 and a half days. At this hotel, as the camp could be called perfect. From the hotel depart to participate in the tour, restaurant, Museum, dining, etc. Are very convenient. The staff, the services have been exemplary. A. Hotel the small bar we like, where with other guests, chat, and leisure, very. Hotel restaurant a good review, too many, but we all go out for dinner.

A hotel in the heart of the city, just steps from the puerta del sol, plaza santa ana… and from which if you peering into the window of your room you can see the main museums El Prado or thissen.
Spacious, bright and good confortables. Una gastronomical offer and about everything and maybe the treatment received by its staff which is what marks the difference.
No doubt it has become my hotel of reference for my visits to the capital.

Beautiful hotel in the centre of Madrid. Rooms are nicely decorated and staff are friendly and informative. Missing some simple things like tea & coffee making facilities. Walls are also paper thin meaning you can hear conversations in the room adjoining.

Restaurant inside the hotel is fantastic, with a modern twist and a spectacular service. Whenever I can I make a visit to your premises.

Most remarkable of all is the kindness and availability of staff, on the other hand 5 stars will be for their situation, because enough leave to be desired. Impractical, but functional rooms in few hotels beds I have slept badly and this is one of them.

Hotel because it treasures a valuable collection of Greek and Roman art in all of its dependencies, creating an environment worthy of remembering; comfortable rooms have numerous and attractive details and furniture in mahogany; Restaurant decorated with Andy Warhol lithographs, displays an informal character and traditional cuisine with current tones, the menu goes from 30 / €40, the letter of 40 / €60; parking no pets.

According to my experience was a hotel that meets all the expectations that you wish to have a hotel but all that counts in its fairly high price, has all kinds of luxuries and parking in the vicinity, the attention is very personal with greater education and providing possible cleanliness is very good.
